Si Nacre Edition

This was a blind buy, as it was in Boots and the lady on the perfume counter thought it was the same smell as the original! I'm actually really happy with it. I actually like this more than the original Si. The sillage and longevity are better, in my opinion. The patchouli and rose are definitely a strong feature, but it's very balanced with a subtle hint of the fruit. My skin is really dry and not many scents last very long on it, so I usually spray on my clothes. This one lasted at least 6 or 7 hours on my wrist, which I'm really impressed with. The only downside is that it didn't really leave any sort of sparkle on my skin. Perhaps it's because I have super dry skin, but I didn't really see it. It's a day perfume to me, not necessarily what you'd wear to the office, but it's very pleasant and not offensive.

I have a fairly large Si collection and the current version of Si EDP is pretty lacklustre (quite watered down). This version bears the Si DNA but I find it to be stronger and a bit less sweet. It's also dryer, like a red wine compared to a white. I really like this flanker. Great for everyday wear and it projects quite well. I think this is a solid perfume and a good representation of what the Si DNA was. It's deeper, more woody with a strong blackcurrant but not much sweetness. This leans more chypre than the current version of Si EDP and the new 2023 Intense. If you like the original release of Si and the Intense flankers (2016 and 2021) you'll like this. It's very wearable and bit grown.

Similar but not the same as the original. Slightly less sweet but absolutely intoxicating. This one both projects and you can smell it on yourself throughout the day. Only at night of course can that beautiful shimmer be best appreciated. So far I love this entire range.

Absolutely gorgeous smell. I keep sniffing myself when I wear this perfume. I’m glad to have this as part of my collection. My favourite Si!

Sì nacre probably bears the original DNA of the classic Sì; however the dry down differs a little bit, to me I find it to be more powdery. Initial difference you might first notice is that this edition has shimmer!! But I don’t mind, it adds a lovely shine to my body.
