Sì Nude Bloom

I’m really not into the hazy gourmand trend that has been lingering for a while. Maybe my younger self got enough of it from wearing cheap vanilla or coconut oils from The Body Shop back in the day, so before trying this, the vanilla kept me a bit skeptical about this fragrance. Spraying it on was initially a no, but ten minutes later it was an intense yes, and the smell grew on me throughout the rest of the day wearing it. My favorite fragrances over the last couple of years have always contained rose in the heart, and so does this. I’ve loved Dior’s La Colle Noire, which has been my favorite for many years, but have felt the urge to find a new rose, and this one does the job, even though the occasions to wear them vary. I do not like the original Sì, so if something about this composition makes you curious while having the same experience with the original — try it! It opens perfectly balanced and dries down warm and smoothly. The vanilla rounds off the rose, and the patchouli is very subtle (which I’m happy about since I almost always experience patchouli as invasive; it’s not at all here. It rather gives a solid foundation that I appreciate). To me, this is not a 25-degree summer scent; the vanilla becomes way too hazy in my opinion, even though it’s not overpowering in the composition itself. I’d rather place it in the fall, wearing a cosy sweater, where the summery vibes from this fragrance bring you back to light summer memories and embed you in them. Love it!

This may not be the most original perfume but wow is it a lovely example of its kind! The rose, soft musk, citrus and blackcurrant are really nicely put together with a custardy vanilla dry-down. It’s a lovely spring-summer tea rose perfume, and has filled a gap in my collection. It’s sophisticated and smells quality enough that it could pass for a more expensive perfume. Fragrances don’t always need to be original to be worth one’s time. I really like this.

Tried it on in the morning, came back to the store to buy an FB in the afternoon. I find this number to more uplifting than the OG, while retaining its softness in the dry down. Fruity notes stayed on skin for about 2 hours, then I detected rose and vanilla. Lasted on my skin for about 6 hours on a hot day.

This is Si for spring! I get a fruity dry down with fresh rosey smell and the signature Si Edp DNA. Overall very fresh and feminine. I wore Si Parfum this winter and this was just what I needed for Mediterranean spring. Not sure it will be summer heat appropriate but until then I reach for this the most!!!

Sheer and delicious Si version for summer. Does not last as long as Si Passione Red Bloom, but it was needed as the original is a heavy winter balm. Just a blotter test but I definitely want to spray it all over me. So pretty. The currants are recognizably Si but so crisp and airy here. Lovely.
