Sì Passione

This is one of my favourites. I can’t understand the negative reviews I read or watch online. Maybe my scent preferences haven’t fully developed or I have anosmia, but I feel like a minority for not liking the raved about perfumes out there—that for me smell unisex or masculine—but lean towards “weak”, “ok” or “not for me” perfumes. To each their own. I think the name and the bottle perfectly encapsulate the essence of the fragrance. I like that the bottle is not see-through (some reviewers have complained about it); there’s an air of mystery and allure about it, and I find the notes blend beautifully. It’s not too flowery that it smells like shampoo; it’s not too sweet that I feel the bees might chase me; it’s not too musky that it loses its femininity. It’s well-balanced and romantic all throughout. It smells like roses and strawberries on me with a milky quality and the right amount of spice. It’s sweet, fruity, florally, womanly, intimate, entrancing, seductive but elegant. I can’t even describe the notes well enough, but I find this quite comforting. It soothes me and puts me to sleep. Because of that reason, I would classify it more as an evening wear. I can also picture someone spraying it on for a date or formal dinner event.

One of my favorite perfumes, and the one that feels the most "like me". I dare say, if I were to be crazy enough to commit to a signature scent, this might be it. I wore this on my wedding day in February, and I'm also wearing it in the heat of summer. I pick up on different notes a bit more depending on the season and I love every variation I get from this. I always feel clean, fruity and shyly seductive with this fragrance on. The sillage is intoxicating and I never grow tired of the smell. In the heat I pick up more of the pineapple and florals (mainly jasmine) and in the colder months I get more of the pink pepper and amber/vanilla notes and something that smells similar to plum. I always get that beautiful vanilla base, ever so slightly grounded by the cedar. I feel like every note here knows it's place... the play of top, heart and base are fine tuned in a synchronized swim of deliciousness. I wouldn't change a thing! This does smell very "designer", but hey - I like what I like regardless of the house or price point. I will always recommend this to fresh/sweet perfume lovers!

I don't know what this perfume has that people, including me, like immensely. I own great designers and a few good niches, but this little bottle makes my compliment-miserly family compliment the way I smell. This happened multiple times. Even my niche doesn't get that much appreciation as Si Passione EDP does. It just amazes me. If you read the notes, they are nothing ground-breaking. It's just your regular floral-fruity perfume that smells like an expensive shampoo. But...but...it's very lovely and pleasing to the nose. Every time I wear it, my brother asks what I am wearing. I wore it today, and my mom said I smelled good. This is both shocking and flattering to me because churning out compliments from them, especially about my perfumes, is practically impossible. As for me? It's an absolute hit. It's a necessity at this point. I love it, and I am willing to try other Passione flankers now. Wearing this makes me feeling like a sexy and confident woman in work/daytime event.

My dream perfume. The definition of gorgeous. Fruity, juicy, and sweet. There is an erotic, almost innocent ripeness to Si Passione. It reminds me of distant, sun-drenched villas and girls in silk dresses running barefoot across hot flagstones. That's passion to me--a summery, guilt-free, slightly naughty first love energy. It makes me want to read elegant, desperately tragic love stories while lounging in the garden. Men absolutely love this on me. I find men often love perfumes that many women or men who are passionate about perfume find perhaps cheap and unsophisticated. Others have commentated that this smells like a more refined Escada perfume, and I completely agree. I love those types of perfumes in theory, but in practise they make me feel a little sick and like I smell cheap. Finally--finally!--I have a fruity, youthful perfume that does not smell cheap. It's so divine. This is a soapy, creamy pear, blackcurrant, rosey, vanilla, spicy vibe. Heaven in a bottle.

Man reviewing here. I tried a few of the Si line at the store as I was looking for a present for a special lady friend. This Passione stood out among the others and I bought it without even thinking. Later that evening, she put it on and .. and lemme tell you.. she smelled great! Fortunately, she loved it as much as I did. She said she was going to wear it in the day time as well (that was a couple of months ago, in the middle of summer). She is 34 y/o, and the perfume suited her beautifully. Certainly it might not be the most innovative fruity-musky scent in the market, but it's really nice and pleasant, sexy to a relatively high degree. Along the lines of the Narciso perfumes, but better crafted, in my opinion. Now I'm curious to try the other Passione flankers. In my books, Passione is a winner and a safe buy for gifting to your lady. I think it's also super versatile for many occasions and for all-year round wear. Sexy, sexy, sexy!
