Sì Passione Intense (2024)

I don't understand all the hate for this perfume. I've been wearing it for just over an hour now. And I love it. It was actually a love at first sniff. I already had Si Intense 2021 ( Never been impressed ). And Si Eau de Parfum Intense 2023 ( A love but not one of my top loves ). Never owned any of the other Passsione perfumes before though. Do any of you remember Eau De Lacoste Sensuelle? Well this reminds me of that. But a more grown up version. I have smelt a lot of perfumes in the last 10 years. And although there are elements of this perfume that reminds me of other perfumes. Mainly... Lacoste Sensuelle + Hypnotic Poison EDT. This perfume still manages to smell quite unique. I do wish this perfume was stronger. But I've got a feeling that this perfume will be one that gets stronger as it ages. To be fair. Even in the hour and a half now that I've been wearing this perfume. I think this actually seems to have got stronger on both my chest and arm. It really is beautiful. Love It!

Frankly, I hate the original Si. It smells like very old grandma to me. I don't really care about the other flankers of the scent either. This is what I love instead! For some reason it reminds me a lot of Hugo Boss Deep Red on my skin, which was my favorite scent years ago. It's still not a particularly special scent or very unique, but it does have the potential to be a signature scent. On my skin it's a fruity, little bit woody vanilla bomb. The blackcurrant is also clearly noticeable, but it's not too sharp, just right. I can't stand sharp blackcurrant in scents. It's warm, soft and cozy. It can be used all year round, but in the summer it works better as an evening scent. It stays on the skin for 8-10 hours.

Update! This has intensified as it’s sat for a week or so in my collection. I adore this scent and the vanilla is quite syrupy and fruity like a berry jam.. I get hints of Hypnotic poison from the vanilla. This is highly addictive and edible smelling I get the odd waft of it now and then and it’s heavenly. This is not a mega long lasting scent but it’s very beautiful .The bottle is amazing and reflects the scent inside, sweet syrupy almost jammy 👍

This is actually really good ! And very unlike all the other SÌ flankers. On me this is warm & spicy but also juicy. The pear brings fruity & sweet vibes. The sandalwood is gorgeous and comes when the other notes fades a little bit & I love that! For me, as a fall girl this is Perfect. I get a lasting power of 3-4 hours with only a few sprays ( work friendly) But it lasted 8hours with a little bit more. All in all si like it 🥰

I received a sample of this like one year ago and I tried it again today. The first time I sprayed it, I thought : "It's so similar to Born in roma or Alien, why bother". Today, however, I can't get enough of it ahah. It is indeed very very vanilla sweet, but not in an immature way. I might buy a small bottle of this, I find it really nice for the winter.

I just tried this today and I can't stop sniffing myself ^^ It's a happy balance between seductive and cheerful, nighttime and daytime, sweet but not gourmand, captivating but down to earth. Maybe a bit generic, yes, but very wearable and great as a signature scent. (Fyi, I am a hater of the original SI and si passionné as well)

I'm so happy I'm getting this perfume today :) I only buy the I'm addicted-can't stop sniffing perfumes and this is one. Warm sweet berries. Perfect for autumn and winter. I only wish it were stronger on my skin and lasted longer, it's not very intense.

The only way to explain this fragrance is round. It’s very inviting, mature and you can use it everywhere in my opinion! It leaves a very good and delicious trail where ever you go. I recommend this to wear alone but also layering❤️

This is to me is the adult version of Cacherel's Amor Amor! In love with it. It smells like "red", like romantic passion, sexy escapades. A fun, fruit and seductive nightime scent.

Absolutely beautiful and my favourite of the range. The bend of the fruit and vanilla is just stunning and so seductive. This will be my new signature. Love Love Love 🥰

This flanker smells amazing! Love the sweet smell from blackcurrant and vanilla with a hint of freshness from the bergamot.

I have tried today in store on a blotter the most recent Si Passione Intense launched in 2024 and... good news is that smells way better than the new Cosmic 2.0 by Kylie!!! And that’s the only good news regarding this Armani. Yes, it’s another blackcurrant, vanilla heavy perfume, like many other in the Si line and smells pretty much like a variation of all of them. Throw in some pear to make it sweeter and more fruitier and the most overused white floral, the jasmine and you have another perfume. Easy peasy.. And about being an intense fragrance, forget about that!! From I can assess based on a blotter test, it doesn’t come across as an intense concentration! I might be wrong, but I have previous/better/ more intense versions of Si and I don’t think I am interested enough to try this 2024 version again. Like 99.9 of the designers nowadays, Armani launches countless flankers, year after year, of a successful fragrance that they created in the past to cash in. And that’s it, end of story. Armani, you lost me there flankers ago...Release something new and let the Si line go.

Tried this today along with the regular Si intense (2023 version). Suprised how much i like this one!! On me, Si passione intense projects so well and is the fruiter one of the two. The vanilla, sandalwood and blackcurrant go really well together here. The regular Si intense has slightly more vanilla and has a red wine-y vibe, however on me it pulls much softer and skin-like which is odd for an 'intense' fragrance. I can understand why some reviewers have listed Baccarat rouge as a similarity as although they are quite different fragrances, they definitely share the same DNA. The female staff member working at the bakery i went to today complimented the smell of this perfume on me, so that made me happy.

Have a sample of this and on the blotter I didn't really like it. I got a really strong pink pepper opening, which isn't listed as one of the notes but it is in one of the other Si Passione flankers. On skin, however, it's much mellower. It's a lovely scent, very likeable. Berry jam opening and gorgeous vanilla sandalwood dry down. The jasmine is subtle, not overpowering or indolic. Generic amber fruity floral scent profile, medium projection and longevity. Nothing special or groundbreaking but lovely nonetheless. I wouldn't spend money on it but would keep it if gifted to me.

Was looking for an autumn/ winter scent and had high hopes for this despite not being familiar with the other Si flankers. I love the bottle, looks so classy and sexy. It is a lovely scent, pretty similar to Valentino Donna Born in Roma to my nose. I already own BIR so seems a waste of money to own both. Performance on this is also terrible on my skin, could barely smell it on myself within 30 mins. When researching online the only reviews I seen on Tik Tok etc. are paid ads which always puts me off too. Disappointed!!

This is for someone who really enjoys very sweet scent but doesn't give you headache or migraines. It starts with light sweet fruity and surrounded with vanilla and woody base. but for a while it's twist it up a little bit into a darker very very sweet creamy powdery vanilla and more floral more intense woody base. it's giving more grown up sweet scent, bold, luxurious, inviting, welcoming and a hint of playful. I really like it. It's freaking LONG LASTING. this is expensive one but worth my money.

I was very impressed with this perfume and bought the largest size but now I'm not in love with it yet I just like it. The spread didn't satisfy me and I didn't get any compliments!!!! What can I mix this perfume with and use it with? I think it is a fun, cheerful and cute scent. I can use this perfume when I go out to have fun in summer or winter evenings. I think this perfume is too energetic for the day. You can match it with cherry, coffee or vanilla perfumes and smell different.

Nice! Very similar to Valentino Donna Born In Roma minus the pink pepper in the opening, which is a good thing in my opinion. Fruity, sweet, jasmine, lots of vanilla and a bit woody when it has dried down. Quite strong, sprayed one spray on my wrist and one on my neck this morning, could smell it strongly for 1-2 hours. Now, 9 h later I can still smell the base notes on my wrist. Might be cloying on warmer days, but is perfect for evenings and fall/winter.

I love all these notes except the Jasmin which i find smells like washing powder/white soap. I wouldnt purchase a full bottle as I think its ok. Kind of reminds me of Voce Viva Intense. I can see this being popular the blackcurrant is delicious 😋 The perfume is strong and long lasting and I would be great for a date nite. I never tried the older version so I cannot compare the two. Does anyone know why they keep changing the formulas?

This is really nothing to do with the original Si. It's very nice, but too much like so many other fragrances that are out there already. If it was in my collection, would reach for it? Yes. I'm a sucker for an orange blossom and jasmine combo. If it came to me as a gift, it would be gratefully received, but I won't be adding this to my Want list.

A friend of mine has it; it’s a nice scent—you can smell it when she wears it—but it’s nothing special. It’s just a nice, ordinary fragrance; you can’t really distinguish the individual notes—it just smells like "perfume." It’s boring; it’s not a signature scent.

Another Intense scent from the Si line?!?! Really??? Armani, please stop with this foolishness and launch a new perfume, would you? We’re bored already and it’s not even released...

This one is actually nice. Nice blended notes and a easy grab. Sweet, polite, non offensive I would say. It brings a nice mood with it. Pleasant surprise. Fades away in no time

Pleasant, sweet scent with a noticeable DNA of the original Si. Moderate projection. Mainstream flanker, easy to appreciate.

Smells wonderful but so faint!!!

I have many thoughts about this scent. I was not expecting much from it. But I am impressed by it. Actually I have conflicting feelings about Si Passione Intense. First, this is a spicy jasmine vanilla bomb with some red currant, but it has more than that, it has a fuzzy musk, and something like ambroxan or a similar chemical component that I usually hate but somehow works very good here. This scent feels like a bomb of jasmine and vanilla in the first minutes, the red fruits and woody notes come later, but the drydown is this fuzzy musk that keeps projecting like crazy. It feels both super femme but also a little bit cheap? and sexy, very attractive. It is a sexy scent in my book, sometimes it feels like a distant cousin of BR40. Some times it feels a tiny bit masculine. But always get to the point when I think wow this smells a little bit cheap and very much sexy! and I keep trying to understand why I like it so much, why it feels so sensual? UPDATE: I don't want to think too much about it, but I gave it a full wear with 4-5 sprays it gave me a drilling migraine and I feel it likely was caused by the ambroxan or similar chemical used here. I will use it again in a few weeks and if it gives me another migraine the bottle is going to the trash can. No not being sold not being swapped...trash can!

Sì Passione Intense is the fragrance that shows up to the party in a red dress and announces she’s “the intense one,” and then proceeds to behave like a vanilla‐scented HR manager on her first night out since 2019. The pear comes in over-excited, like a Love Island contestant who’s been told to “act natural.” It’s shiny, it’s trying very hard, and it will absolutely ask you if you can taste the antioxidants. The jasmine tries to be sultry, but she’s giving “I bought a satin cami from Zara and now I think I’m a femme fatale.” She’s pretty but she's not hypnotising anyone. She’s the floral equivalent of someone who says “I’m such a bad girl” because she once had dessert on a Tuesday. The vanilla is the only thing holding this whole situation together. It shows up, smoothing everything over with warmth and is slightly smug at being the only adult in the room. This fragrance thinks it’s a smouldering temptress, but smells like a red dress that insists it’s couture but was £39.99. It’s nice, it’s wearable... but it’s not intense. It's not seducing anyone into a trance. It’s seducing them into a nice dinner and an early night.

The beautiful blackcurrant intop notes is the great part of this perfume (everyone mentioned cherry and I agree). Unfortunately, it's too short and move to mostly powdery till the end. Since I don't like powdery scent, I'm glad that I only tried the 15ml bottle. The powdery is very strong and too much.

This new perfume formula is a fail in my opinion, the original si passione intense was absolutely beautiful, this new formula locks personality, does not last at all, does not project. Is just a sweet fruity perfume and thats about it, does not match the price tag

imo it has nothing to do with the original si passione. it's a beautiful scent for winter. it reminds me of gucci bloom intense but it's more fruity ans airy. and if i have to choose between them Si is better.

Does anyone understand why brands use the same name for completely different fragrances? Is it a lack of imagination? I really like Passion, but I absolutely dislike the Intense version or Intense (2024)

Smells like vintage lipsticks. Its overly femme but nothing special. Avon has very close parfumes to this.

As much as I like Si Passion, I don't like the Intense version. It's very basic and cheap.

This new flanker makes me sad.😔 I was hoping that this is not going to happen to the Si line which in my opinion is one of the best designer perfume line. They are easy to wear but still elegant and classy. After the new Intense which I didn’t like because it was to safe and modernised compared to the previous Intense I was worried for this release. Unfortunately I was right. Fruity pear and blackcurrant shampoo with designer jasmine (no rose😢), pleasant woody dry down. I will be purchasing older bottles of the original Si and Intense because I don’t like the new direction they are taking it.

I received a free sample so here are my thoughts from wearing it. A sweet fruity floral, juicy tart blackcurrant and pear on a vague warm base. Quite simple and one dimensional. I don't even smell vanilla or sandalwood, only the typical designer fruity floral dna. Quite strong to my nose, and there's something in it that is bothering me, likely some popular synthetic. Probably not a bad perfume if you like this sort of thing, but it doesn't feel new at all. Very much smelled it before.

While I love the original Si Passione, and the notes in the Intense sound gorgeous, somehow with my body chemistry it ends up smelling like a sewer... it saddens me that this doesn't work for me (I've tested this in a store and from a sample which I ended up giving away!) Oh well, back to the perfume store to try more stuff :))

Generic overly done saccharine white floral-blackcurrant scent I've smelled a thousand times before. Tired.

Do not buy this if you have the original It is a cash grab same as the rest of the line The original was truly inspirational but it was milked enough Sort of the same with a lot of armani’s lines for example the stronger with you line and the aqua do gio line as well Performance was abysmal No projection I repeat if you have the original do not waste your time and money

So generic. So underwhelming. Very "perfume-y" in an old fashioned way. Didn't expect much but this was even less. Drydown is nice but the way there is unpleasant.

Base notes smell like a urinal and something salty.

I really wanted to love this. I’m a longtime fan of the original Sì. It’s elegant, smooth, and effortlessly put-together. So when I kept seeing glowing reviews of Sì Passione Intense everywhere, especially people calling it a “10/10” and even better than the rest of the line, I gave in and blind bought a full-size bottle. And unfortunately... this was a complete miss for me. From the first spray, it felt overwhelming in a way that wasn’t pleasant. There’s a heavy, old-school quality to it that I just can’t get past. It leans thick, slightly suffocating, and ends up giving me a headache and even a bit of nausea, which is rare for me with fragrances. I kept trying to revisit it, thinking maybe it was a weather thing or a mood thing, but every single time, the experience was the same. What makes it more frustrating is that I went back and smelled Sì Passione again, and that one actually smelled beautiful to me. So it’s not the DNA itself, it’s just this Intense version that completely throws me off. For my nose, it just doesn’t work at all. There’s nothing here that captures the charm or sophistication I love in the original Sì. Instead, it feels dated and overly intense without the payoff. Now I’m stuck with a large bottle I barely touch, which is honestly frustrating. Lesson learned the hard way: no matter how hyped something is online, blind buying—especially based on TikTok—is just not worth it.

I got a 15ml bottle of this with my order of other Armani perfumes. After the first 2-3 mins, I’m smelling a smell super similar to I Want Choo, almost to the point of making owning both of them redundant. They share the same citrus, then jasmine vanilla combo. If I had to repurchase, I would prefer Si Passione Intense over I Want Choo. It’s a bit smoother. The latter however is easily available at discounters which makes it hard to choose! Am I the only one smelling a similar profile?

You are puffing out the scent by squeezing Palmolive So Relaxed (purple one in Aroma Sensations series) shower gel bottle in one hand, and classic Dove shampoo (not the soap) bottle in the other one. The mix of both scents, is what I am getting from Si Passione Intense (2024). With some generic vanilla too and hefty dose of sandalwood. However the entire blend is all too generic, not much else to say. Paying retail price for such fragrances is crazy to say the least.

Am I a huge fan of the Si line? No. Did I buy this pretty much exclusively for the bottle? Yes. Yes I did. Just like I did with the last Si Intense. So now the two impulse purchases can sit together prettily on my shelf. And I regret nothing. Thankfully, I do quite like this Si Passione Intense. It's pretty, soft, nothing ground-breaking but also unoffensive and pretty safe. It falls in the mid-range of my like list - nowhere near a love, but still a solid purchase.

It has departed ways with the classic Si DNA , this new version has sweetern intro and warmer base .. it could be mistaken for a flanker of good girl or lancome lveb .. given the notes pyramids no wonder why .. It gives similar whiffs of good girl blush Not necessarily same but similar category if u get me .. Longevity and sillage is just ok It might be my first Si :) .. finally a si that doesnt nausiate me

I'm really tired of the intense flanker releases from designers, and this one has to be the worst of all. This fragrance is quite different from the original; I immediately wanted to scrub it off, but thankfully, it faded quickly. The original Si Intense EDP lasts much longer on my skin and is far more enjoyable. Unfortunately, this version has a heavy synthetic base note that I find intolerable.

Just another generic designer scent for night and winter wear. Jasmine is so overdone at this point, it's really nothing new and this is a jasmine bomb. The only redeeming quality is the blackcurrant but it is hardly noticeable, buried deep within the heaviness of this perfume. If only the bergamot were noticeable in any way, it would keep it from smelling so much like a dime store femme fatale.
