Si

This perfume has a special place in my heart. It was the first "high end" perfume I ever purchased, and it was a blind purchase. I bought a small gift set from Macy's that came with small bottles of Giorgio Armani Original Si, Si Intense, and Si Passione. The gift set finally delivered and I was in LOVE. It is such a classy, fruity and floral scent. It lasts forever and projects well. I can see it being perceived as "too sweet" for some, but it has a level of complexity that makes it very encaptivating. I would say the appropriate age range is wide. I don't perceive it as a very "mature" scent aka old lady scent. BUT I also wouldn't say it's a teenagers scent either. Again, could be suitable for a very wide range in age. All of the Si scents are similar, but the for the original Si, you can definitely pick up more on the woody/earthy scent which makes it better for the daytime in my opinion, however I would say it's versatile and can be well suited for the evening as well. Si Intense and Si Passione lean more into an evening scent for me. With Si Intense, the "warm spicy" shows. The rose/vanilla shines with Si Passione, but again, they are all similar and fruity. A little story that attests to its amazing smell -- when I first started wearing this, I was a server at a restaurant. Perfumes and strong fragrances weren't allowed, especially with an anal boss that had a strong sense of smell. I wore this to work anyways. My boss stopped me and asked "are you wearing perfume?" I was scared sh*tless. He has scolding others before for wearing fragrances or using products that had too strong of a smell. I said ... yes .... he said "what is it?" I was confused. I said perfume. He said "No like what is it called? It smells really good. I want to get that for my wife". LOL. He couldn't even be mad for me wearing it in the restaurant because it smelled so good. I eventually ran out of those small bottles, but I recently purchased more which led me to writing this review. I love it as much as I do when I first smelled it 4 years ago. If you like Si (especially Si Passione), then I would recommend Jimmy Choo I Want Choo. That is also an AMAZING scent. Jimmy Choo has gotten more compliments than Si but both of those are my favorites. Versace Crystal Noir is also great.

I am honestly a bit shocked by some of the reviews of Si, but I understand where a lot of people are coming from. I tried this for the very first time recently after trying Replica's "On a Date" and it smelling absolutely putrid on my skin (I was so sad). I was interested in that one for the red wine note, and when it ended up performing so poorly on myself I went searching for something similar and Si came up again and again. I'm so happy it did because I love it so much! I wore it basically everyday even when the occasion didn't call for it because I just wanted to smell it on myself that much. I agree with some reviews that it is quite cloying, sweet, powdery, etc., but in my opinion that is exactly why I love it so much! It's hard to describe but it's at the same time very fruity-floral yet warm and juicy and complex -- which I think is where some of the 'cloying-ness' comes from because there is quite a lot going on. I think it works for day and night, depending on the person, but probably leans slightly more nighttime. I don't agree that it's overly sophisticated or mature smelling -- I actually think it's quite a flirty and fun scent for almost any age. I don't think I would recommend for a teen but I'm 23 and I think it's perfect for me right now and I could continue to wear it for many years. It probably is a little bit 'commonplace' but scents like that are popular for a reason. I don't see any point in not wearing a fragrance that I love on myself for risk of smelling basic.

When I first sprayed this inside the store I did not like it. It reminded me of an old perfume. I walked around for a bit smelt it again and fell in love. seeing the comments on here I am convinced that people are spraying this and immediately judging it based off the initial spray instead of the dry down. Comparing Armani Sì to Flowerbomb, soda, beer, and described as sticky makes zero sense to me. Personally I do not smell rose in Sì. I've been wearing this perfume 12 years and still am head over heels for it. However, since they changed packaging they definitely changed the scent. It used to be so much stronger and more musky. Instead of rose I get orange? Judging by the comments I am the only one haha. The Patchouli and woodiness are my favorite parts of this fragrance. It's a masculine feminine scent that a man can not pull off in my opinion. I only wish they would stop reformulating for cheaper ingredients and ruining the scent while also upcharging due to "better packaging." Something to always remember while reading others comments is that it's going to smell differently on everyone's skin and that's the important part. You can't judge it based of the first spray. Wait awhile afterward because who knows how you'll feel after 🖤 I know I am biased because I have a sweet spot for this but it's clear that people are not giving it a real chance!

in my opinion, this DNA has been recycled so many times now that si in its essence is not really unique anymore. however it does not take away the quality of this fragrance or maybe its charm too. it's a timeless fragrance worth a good penny and i think it's a pretty safe option that would probably not offend anyone. si opens up really warm fruity, underlined with a good deal of earthiness. right from the get go i could tell it was a chypre fragrance. interestingly enough tho, there are no fruits listed in the notes, however it's fairly fruity in my books. in a sense it felt kind of comforting from the start, the warmth just envelopes you. the dry down is extremely vanilla earthy, but in a good way. i love it. it reminds me of a vanilla cupcake brushed with some berry mint powder - i cannot really explain it. for sure, it's not a suitable scent for everyone. probably people who strongly dislike chypres will have an issue with si, but generally i think it's a type of chypre that can be easily tolerated thanks to its sweet vanilla quality (of course that excludes if yall have a problem with sweet fragrances too lmao). i personally like it a lot. the chypre category is a little individualistic to me, but in a good way - they kinda intrigue me. honestly, i'm thinking of getting a bottle one day in future. :)

I tested this on my skin yesterday, and let me just say - I’m getting a bottle! For some reason (probably because of it’s massive popularity a few years ago), I hadn’t tried the original Sì until yesterday. However, when another perfume that I was going to test was out of stock, I tried this one on instead, since I liked how it smelled from the bottle. I’m not going to lie - it was NOT love at first sniff. The first ten minutes it smelled like an old lady in the worst way. But then, something magical happened, and it just transformed into this beautiful, classy, well-balanced masterpiece?! On me, this came out very feminine and effortlessly chic. It’s definitely floral, but it has this unique, almost mysterious base that made me want to smell my wrist every third minute. I actually find it really sexy, but not in an obvious way, just like you happened to be incredibly good-smelling without trying too hard. It’s really addictive and on me it stayed for at least 6 hours with two sprays on my wrist. My skin usually keeps ambroxan, vanilla and woods the longest, so if yours does too, it may linger for a ling time on your skin as well.

One of my absolute favorites, though recently I realized that it had been quite some time since I have worn this, so amidst my current project of testing new fragrances I decided to revisit this today. All I had left was my travel-size roller from approx. 2018, so perhaps the bottle I have has faded over the past few years (as I didn't do the best job of keeping it out of the light), but I noticed that it is not nearly as strong on my skin as I remembered. That being said, it clings to my clothes far more than it does my skin, so maybe that's why I remember it being so long-lasting, as I often wore this into the office where I wore sweaters which would smell like Si for days. I put this on about 15 hours ago and I can still smell this in my clothes, which I'm certainly not complaining about by any means. I think moving forward I will only reach for this when I plan on wearing clothes on which the fragrance will cling, because it lasts far longer on clothing than it does my skin. I've read other comments suggesting that it has since been reformulated, so I might have to retest this in Sephora to see what, if anything, has changed.

I have to laugh at myself. Because if there were ever perfumes that I never smelled, but still knew they were them and hated them, they were two - Chloé EDP and Armani Sí EDP. Now they are my loves - both. I described Chloé EDP in one of my previous reviews. I started with Armani Sí EDT (with light pink cap, now it is discontiunued). After the 100 ml bottle of EDT, I got the courage to try perfume version, I started with 30 ml. And I fell in love, deep love. I use perfume in autumn and winter, in summer it is quite heavy on me. In winter it is so cuddly, fruity and vanilla. I smell a bit of champagne there, beautifully sparkling. The staying power and projection are really huge, for me a small application is enough and I can smell it for half a day. I like to re-apply my fragrance during the day. What I am a little sad about is the constant release of new flankers lately, there is confusion and the originality is being lost (I generally prefer to reach for the original fragrances). I also don't really like the new bottle with the big Sí on the glass. I like abstinence and minimalism.

The general consensus that this smells like an old lady will never ever make sense to me! This was my first ever fragrance, I have been wearing this perfume since I was 16, I’m now nearly 24 and I don’t plan on stopping any time soon! I have gone through too many bottles of this to count! It’s the perfect blend of that clean powdery scent with a black currant fruitiness and light floral. I find this lasts so well on my skin and I always get so many compliments from this one! I always wear this during the day and mostly in the spring as that white floral berry reminds me of popping a nice glass of crisp white wine on a picnic blanket in the middle of a field with a slight spring breeze ☺️. I find this scent calming and soothing and makes me feel a little bit more connected to the girly side of nature without being too overpowering. It’s a lovely signature scent for any age, can be subtle but also leaves room to be built on by simply applying more or layering. Would highly recommend this to any girlies who aren’t quite sure what they want and are just looking for a classic.

Absolutely beautiful! I've always been a fan of vanilla/musk fragrances, and they've always been a fan of me. By saying this, I mean that my body chemistry works particularly well with these notes. Overly floral scents tend to pull sour on me, and I can't stand sickly sweet, celebrity-esque scents. This is the perfect balance of warm, cozy vanilla, delicate, fresh floral and slightly sweet fruitiness. The first time I wore it out, I got stopped by four separate strangers asking what perfume I was wearing. On top of this, several of my male friends have commented on "how delicious" and "how sexy" I smell. This has never happened to me before - I'm sold! I can see this being both a day and night perfume, however, because of the price and because I adore this scent so much so that I don't want to EVER get sick of it (due to overkill), I'll use this solely as a night, "special" perfume. In short, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this perfume. I will continue to buy as long as it's made. Hats off to you, Armani/Nagel, this is truly a masterpiece.

ok so like, idk how to describe this perfume so imma just put it down like this. i really liked what my mom said when she smelled it. she said “mmmmmm smells like opening night” and i when i asked “opening for what?” she just shrugged and reiterated that it just smelled like opening night. it was a very instinctual description from her, she clearly just said the first thing that came to mind and i loved that. so as i sat there sniffing my wrists, i started to understand. my mom used to work in theatre, and as a kid i remember going to an opera house with her. when i thought about that memory, the thrill of being out at night, the cool air, the opulence of the theatre and the people at the show, the fanciness of it all, the excitement, this smell actually does come to mind. i’m not sure what it is. it’s all i can think about now when i smell it and i love it. that said it also just smells like hot people. if you wear this you’re hot.

Turns out I'm a fruity girl after all. :/ I've always been a bit ashamed by my penchant for sweet, berry-and-vanilla perfumes. I thought it was slightly unsophisticated and juvenile on my part, so I'd made a conscious effort to avoid gourmands for a while. Not anymore my friends. I feel completely confident in saying I love Armani Sì, because it makes jammy fruitiness seem as classy and chic as any french floral or arabian oud. To be sure, it starts with an explosion of raspberries and continues with a smiling, sweet fuzz of patchouli and vanilla. Despite this hot pink cloud of fun, it has a wine like richness, and a woody smoothness that makes me think of the proper, ladylike chypres of yore. Thus, having redeemed fruitiness, Armani Sì strides with me wherever I go, making me feel like Audrey Hepburn at her sunniest.

This is like sunshine in a bottle. First when you spray you get a fizzy sparkly smell... like a citrus champagne... then soft flowers with a creamy vanilla but not overpowering. Just love love this for spring and summer... makes me feels happy and light. I have to change my opinion here... I got two samples of Si... in identical bottles written EDP but I think the first one I tried was the EDT (think they bottled it wrong in samples at the factory)... so very different from the EDP. Or maybe they changed it... I don't know. One has a very vanilla scent and the other one is zesty, fizzy and floral. The EDP is very vanilla, freezia and ambery... amazing as well. I love love it ! One bottle the juice was darker... probably the vanilla and the other is very clear. I'll have to get them directly at the store to see ^^

Before 2020ish: Warm, sultry, seductive, mysterious, super sexy and feminine. Amber and vanilla and a hint of other interesting elements I can't put my finger on but that added so much depth to the scent. The smell had longevity and as my skin would warm up it would waft to me throughout the day. Now: With the bottle design change I was hoping and assuming the formulation had not changed but now it is one note, floral, synthetic and cheap smelling, aldeydish elements that don't smell like they should be there, basically NOTHING like it was, which is very confusing. The smell is in a similar class as shitty 10 dollar dupes you would find in a chemist. Uninteresting and no real character. If anyone knows a perfume that smelled like the original, please leave a comment with suggestions!!!

Just recently got into perfume again after many years and I've learned the importance of buying a big bottle and/or backups when you fall in love, because everything gets reformulated! I didn't know this back in the day, so I've been on a mad hunt to chase down every perfume I used to love. Just got a 2018 batch of Si and I am in love. It's exactly what I remember: strong, boozy, syrupy, sugary, elegant, powerful. This is the only fragrance I've ever had that makes me feel like a Boss Babe. It's a little bit masculine, which I normally don't like for myself, but I love this one. I've smelled the newer reformulated version and it just didn't give me that same powerful kick to my nose. I've heard the Si Intense smells like the old formulation Si so I'm hoping to try that one soon.

This is another perfume I believe I’ll use forever and recommend to everyone. It’s so perfect for everything. So good for everyday. My love for it began as my “professional scent”. It made me feel like a serious and focused woman that’s getting work done. I used it to motivate myself to study and get things done. Now, it’s more of an everyday scent. It’s just so good for everything. I also love it on other people as well. I have 60+ bottles of perfume and this one has a huge dent and holds a very important place in my collection. This one is a must in my collection and I’ll always repurchase it. Somehow I have nothing like this perfume in my collection. Love, love, love

Before I amplified my collection this was a signature scent for a long time. Huge compliment getter as well! I definitely have weak spot for cassis, as I also love Nectar VR. This is just a very classy, clean smelling, fairly potent fragrance. Wearing it again today for the first time in a long time and I can still see why this once was one of my favourite fragrances I owned. Nowadays I enjoy more complex fragrances, but this is still a beauty and an overall crowd pleaser. Safe buy it would say if you love sweet. Of course this can be worn by anyone, but it does give I am a classy, sophisticated, I know what I want type of woman.

What a beauty! This is a strong, gorgeous fruity & woody fragance that opens potently with cassis giving off a gorgeous, plummy, grapey scent thats keeps on giving until the drydown, when it becomes a smooth, beautifully blended base of pure woods and vanilla without feeling especially sugary. I find this scent a bit dark too - not too warm nor cold, a bit melancholy, a bit pensive. I like to wear this when it's cold, when I don't feel the heat might feel too cloying. But I don't want to associate this scent with feeling moody, lol. Strong and sweet, just like I like them.

My baby, my signature scent, my favorite lady. She’s so classy and beautiful. Sí is one of those perfumes that I have a hard time picking out the individual notes, because they’re blended so well. Overall, Sí is warm, soft, a little woody and a little sweet. It’s nothing groundbreaking, but it does feel a little unique compared to some of the other big name designer fragrances. It’s comforting, and more appropriate for cooler weather, in my opinion. I first started wearing Sí when scarves were cool 😂 and I loved catching whiffs of it on my scarf at the end of the day.

My old signature scent. This is one of the prettiest fragrances, it’s super deep and rich and I have realised that it’s best suited for a date night or evenings out. It’s a little too cloying in the summer for me so I don’t wear it everyday anymore. It’s more for special occasions now. To me, this smells like a woody, rose heavy-vanilla. It’s so yummy and has an almost red wine feel to it. The lasting power and sillage is incredible on my skin and lasts so long. I’ve since used up my bottle but will definitely grab another one when I’ve used up another perfume.

So, I blind bought this years ago on a whim after hearing good things. It was a 100mL bottle for dirt cheap so I figured I had nothing to lose. I sprayed it and.... Wow.... BORIIIIIIING! After forcing myself to wear it a few times, I gave up hope and stuck it in the “no-no” corner of my collection with the other duds. Who knew that years of abject neglect would age this perfume so spectacularly! Si is DIVINE! It’s charming, light and lovely, pleasantly sweet, warm and welcoming, classy and comforting. Wearing this feels like being embraced by the finest silk.
