Gold by Giorgio Beverly Hills is a truly underrated scent. It is a true gem that I discovered quite by accident. And I'm so pleased I did. I didn't know what to expect when I ordered it but I will say that it exceeded my expectations. As I worried that it would have that awfully, brash and aggressive opening that some cheaper scents have but it doesn't. Imo it competes well with more expensive fragrances for a small amount of the price and I much prefer it to scents like Raghba. Because the notes are so pure ans well blended. I found after my intial testing that four sprays is enough to give you a very beautiful oud, plum and dark rose experience.Which is sweet, but not overly sweet, as the vanilla, kashmir wood and amber are sensual and warming; sublimely balancing out the oud and rose. Gold, doesn't have massive projection with one or two sprays but with 4, you can smell it on you and it lasts ages..So if you love well made oud rose compositions. I highly, highly recommend Gold as it truly is luxury in such a pretty bottle..

This isn't your mother's Giorgio Beverly Hills! WHAT? This is amazing! It's unfortunate that this beautiful elixer is likely overlooked because of the association with the OG 80's cheap drugstore stuff. This is an awesome oud-y boozy sweet concoction. I do see how it is reminiscent of Shaghaf Oud, but less oud and more amped up plums. As well, it's not as loud and abrasive, rather it is softer and more subtle but still puts out decent projection. It starts with plums soaked in cognac with woods, then develops further with a rich warm amber and mild rose in the background. I much prefer this to the ones listed in "Reminds me of" because of the strong plum note. Very sexy date night fragrance. 2 spritzes on my arm gave a decent 1 foot projection and it lasted 5-6 hrs before settling to a soft woody vanilla skin scent.

This fragrance surprised me in a very good way! Its complex and very reminiscent of swiss arabian shagaf fragrances I would say, but better in my opinion as it doesn't give you that initial blast of alcohool the shagaf ones do. The beginning is all juicy plum and rose for me and then it dries down to the most beautiful jammy rose/woody scent, very intoxicating. Lasting power and projection are also amazing, I could smell it were I sprayed in my wrist even after a shower. This one for me its one of the best blind buys I ever did, specially considering the price you pay for this little gem. Edit: my favorite wintery perfume! Definitely would be too cloying in the heat. Spray with caution

Wow. great fragrance, 50% for women 50% for men, typical unisex. Strong, oud, rose and plum, thrives beautifully, plum and alternation with rose in the presence of oud in the background vanilla, holds a very long type of beast. The bottle is very decorative, the color of glass is sprinkled with glitter, the shape of the bottle is quite masculine but glitter gives it femininity, it means that the smell is a typical hidden unisex, it is not written that it is a fragrance for women on the packaging. it's a pearl. 8/10 long lasting beast scent unisex. Perfect for autumn or winter and rainy summer. Good job ... GBHILLS ... THANK YOU! LOVE.IT.

YALL. THIS IS DELICIOUS!! Beautiful florals with a slight fruity sweetness and oud, so so so smooth, not at all sharp. And the sweetness isn't cloyingor syrupy. A mature femine AMAZING quality fragrance she is BEAUTIFULLLL. She smells of creamy goodness, AN UNDERRATED GEM. Versatility is amazing good for day and night, staying at home and date night fragrance. She is a classy, alluring and inviting!! This fragrance has me falling in loveeee. AND FOR THE PRICE?? YALL SHE SCREAMS EXSPENSIVE!

Plummy-rosy-oud goodness, I'm very impressed! The plum works well to sweeten the oud, and the rose lends a wearable spiciness that lingers throughout the entire scent duration. Vanilla and amber round out the base beautifully. Great sillage, lasts well too. Perfect for autumn & winter, definite addition.

Spicy, sweet, rosy plum jam on a woody base that puts me in mind of the lumber aisle in Home Depot - and I LOVE the lumber aisle in Home Depot 🤤 This is delightful. Similar to Club de Nuit Intense, but sufficiently different that I'm not mad about having both.

A very nice take on oud, the rose is very faint. which what i prefer the most. It will take you to the beautiful cultural east, reminds me of Ramadan evening gatherings.

Of my darker perfumes Gold I love its right up there as one of my fav's. So much so I will wear all year round.

This is a beauty. Reminds of Beyond Rose though somewhat lighter, great longevity, a successful blind buy

Tobacco is not listed as a note, but to me this is a tobacco-vanilla scent. It's a deep, dark, rich fragrance. There is a hint of wood, then tobacco-vanilla takes center stage.

To me, this smells mostly like the now very popular rose jam scent. The difference is so syntheticd "oud" at reminds me almost bitter almond or cherry. That note is not dominant, but remarkable nonetheless. It doesn’t bother me, rather it gives this scent a nice kick and durability. When sprayed a lot, I think it causes nausea. This is one of those fragrances that for one reason or another has remained on the shelves and is now being sold at a mock price. If you are looking for a "budget Mancera" then check this out! In this price range 10/10

If you want a mental shortcut, this is very much Armaf/Noir de noir with sweet fruits - quince and plum. There is also a touch of that sweetness that reminds me of Roses Vanille. It's a very nice scent indeed, however I need to brutally downsize my collection. As I don't have any memories/feelings associated with this, I'm happy to let this go from my collection and make someone else happy. I have a full 100ml bottle, can post within UK. What can i say about Giorgio of Beverly Hills Roses Vanille? oh wait... I mean Gold. Very similar to Roses Vanille by Mancera but deeper or not as vibrant; for instance, compare The Oprah Winfrey Show vs. The View or American Idol vs. The Masked Singer - each show very well done and popular amongst the peeps BUT one is more dynamic. A very nice rose oud - if you are into rose ouds, then this will not disappoint, especially at the price.

Nov. 06, 2019 Giorgio Gold was a blind buy. You know the ones where you take it in and out of your cart for months and then finally order? Yeah. Do I regret it? No. I smell plum and sweet (not animaliac) oud in the top notes. Rose, as others have mentioned, is buried kind of deep in the composition and you have to search for it. That’s kind of a bummer for me because I love dark red rose and would prefer it to be stronger. I do not find the composition to be that strong. I have four sprays on, and while I smell it, others farther than hugging distance do not. Nostalgia by Alexandria is much stronger in that regard. Longevity, as is normal for GBH (an underrated house if there ever was one) is perfectly fine. Very well suited for cold weather. An easily accessible, easily wearable oud. Nov. 11, 2019 I haven’t worn it since the 6th and decided to spritz it on this morning. My husband made the comment that, “Your perfume is very strong.” I can smell it, a rich, almost dark chocolate scent, but I still don’t smell it strongly. I guess only use sparingly even if you can’t smell it too much on yourself!

When I bought this blindly, in my country they didnt fraghobby niches so much yet. Its very strong and lasting power is the strongest Ive ever experienced. Oud is just enought to give niche wibe - the juicy is very sweet, but its very well blended. It was just 11 euros back then, but worthy of 4 times More. Very internetin perfume and I Will tell More about it. Its just 2 and half of year 2025 so going to bed. I hope everyone whom are interested about gold one Shell have their changes 😊

No matter how hard I try I just can’t wear this perfume. The oud is way too strong here. Oud + plum with roses vanille DNA = nausea for me. Edit: After donating my first bottle and suddenly beginning to crave this scent 8+ months later, I now have it back in my collection. This time around it smells so amazing. Absolutely adore how the rose + oud combo is done here. This reminds me of something Kayali would release.

This was a blind buy ,and I am so glad I did. A rose oud fragrance that smells very similar to rose ouds from the niche brands,but for £8 for 50ml. I'm wearing it now and it warms up lovely on the skin. It is strong on me,I only sprayed a tiny amount on my wrist (in case I didn't like it) and it is enveloping me in a lovely scent.

This would have been very impressive had Shagaf Oud and Masha'er by Oud Elite not crossed my life. Still a bargain gem but very tailored to western markets more since the oud here is restrained. Among the best budget gourmand oud scents out there, longevity and sillage both on the moderate side on my skin

Wow definitely underrated perfume! This belongs on my great cheapies row, because of the branding it isn't selling at a high price point but definitely smells niche. Oriental, gourmand, spicy and oudy but not barny. Love! Might just have to buy this one.

In two words- sweet oud, that's just it, but what's with the price??! 50ml Eau de Parfum is 66 EUR? I bought a 50 ml edp for 15 euros today.

Of course everyone's taste is different but, MUST there be fruit in ALL new designer scents/flankers? ALL of them? Sigh.
