411 Intenso

This is the most beautiful floral cyphre 🌼 that I put my nose on! It’s elegant, it’s timeless, it’s powerful, yet sensual, it’s fresh, yet sweet 💛 Starts off pretty fresh, with a combination of bergamot and pepper and of course the camomile, which is the star of this perfume! 🌼 But, this camomile is so soft and elegant, it’s not sharp or harsh (like let’s say the camomile from Gucci Memoire d’une Odeur, which leans masculine). In here, the camomile comes like a warm hug, like the most comforting cashmere veil that hugs you while you’re sipping on a cup of lukewarm tea 🍵 After about half an hour, the concoction starts to sweeten, the peony keeps it airy and the jasmine keeps it light, while the ylang-ylang gives it just enough heaviness to make it interesting and stop it from being just a regular fresh perfume. Mind you, while this is on the fresh side, it’s definitely not a summer freshie! ☀️ Then, slowly, the base notes make an appearance, grounding it, making it mature, elegant, not just another floral. It doesn’t have oak moss, like a cyphre does, but that vetiver and especially the patchouli gives it the earthiness that it needs, making it the perfect cyphre in my opinion! 💛🤍💛 It’s sweet, it’s fresh, it’s floral, it’s earthy! All of these, without ever going in just one direction, without it being too floral or too sweet or too earthy! ✨That’s why I call it a masterpiece, because it combines all of this to perfection and the result is one of the most luxurious fragrances I’ve ever smelled! ✨✨✨ I don’t yet know how to describe the place it transports me into, but I can say that I find myself a lot in this perfume! I’m not a flower power kind of person, which means that a classical fruity- floral, as much as I find them cute, will never suit me. But I’m also not a harsh person, I’m very nurturing, feminine and motherly once you get to know me, but at the same time down to earth, just like this perfume. Dreamy, but mature. And you have to wait a bit, to get to know me, in order for me to show my layers - just like this perfume does, because this fragrance does get better and better then more it sits on your skin! 😍 It’s modern, but a bit vintage leaning as well! A true timeless piece, I can really see both someone from a century ago and someone from this age, wearing it! It’s also unisex, although I would say it leans a bit feminine. Longevity is through the roof! Projection, as well! I tried this perfume because of Giovanna Antonelli. She’s the lead actress of a Brazilian TV series from 20 years ago, which has shaped my adolescence! But what I didn’t expect, is this quality! A niche perfume from a celebrity, who would have thought?

The fragrance of 411 Intenso had, as inspiration, a walk through the Palais Royal in Paris. The perfumer in charge was Julie Massé, who has been involved with several creations for international brands such as Lalique, Giorgio Armani, Courrèges, etc. Its name (each fragrance brings a number) does not have an established concept, besides the fact that one of her demands was the use of the number 11, which has great meaning for her, regarding personal aspects. 411 Intenso is classified as chypre-floral by the manufacturer. It features notes of rose, bergamot, pepper and chamomile flower at the top of the olfactory pyramid, making way for a floral heart of Sambac jasmine, peony and ylang-ylang, on a woody base with notes of sandalwood, vetiver, patchouli and a touch of amber. On the skin, 411 Intenso ratifies the definitions of elegance through a floral and soapy fragrance, full of feminine style (only at first sight) that turns into an elegant luxury soap as it evolves. Once applied on the skin, it has a huge floral appearance, in which chamomile and peony reign, with their luminous nuances, resembling a bouquet of roses and freshly harvested flowers. The peony note gives a very similar nuance to that of the pink rose. The evolution is quick and the jasmine presents itself in the blink of an eye, bringing the creamy side of sandalwood and amber, both present in the base. On my skin, I can not notice much vetiver, nor patchouli. There is a mix of sensations between the classic and the modern, between the older florals, which were full of muguet (lily of the valley) and the most current ones. 411 Intenso is, in my opinion, the most diurnal and versatile of the three initial creations that bear the name of the Brazilian actress and businesswoman. It conveys, perfectly, the feeling of spring mornings and gives an incredible feeling of well-being and bath taken. The perfume exudes considerably for about three hours, which is great considering its limpid aspect. But the durability is not the greatest: it lasted about eight hours on my skin. To conclude, it is worth mentioning the presentation, whose box has a special white paper and a golden label, in honor of the Municipal Theater in Rio de Janeiro. The bottles are made with heavy glass and straight lines, with a zamak metal lid and refer to the glass and metal facades of the imposing buildings of São Paulo.

I bought this beauty second hand. I bought it blind cause the seller put a cheap price tag for a few missed sprays. I already liked the 611 from this brand. This perfume works like aroma therapy for me. It smells very herbal to me, and I definitely smell strong camomile. It has a calming effect on my mood, I love to wear it when I’m in and around the house. The juice is very potent and projection for 6 hours minimum on my skin. It also fills the room after putting a few sprays. The potency is similar to the amouage house. A true powerhouse this is.

Straight forward scent this one. A fragrance which is somewhat green, but with a lightly powdery, floral citrus opening. Then becoming more and more of a clean, soapy accord with and unmistakable chamomile note. I'll be honest I didn't think much of it, I'm not sure what this perfume costs (just looked it's £135 for 100ml) so actually not extortionate and I suppose if you like the freshness of it then fine, but it's not my bag at all.

This fragrance is "easiest" to wear from the collection. its a mix of the chamomile flower, vetiver, amber and bergamot gives off a calm, relax, bit sweet greenish clean "soapy" smell. moderate longevity and moderate-soft sillage
