Ambassador Intense

I'm here to shed light on the comparison between Sauvage Elixir and Ambassador Intense. I LOVE both of these fragrances, but keep in mind scent is always subjective. Everybody's sniffer works different than the next. Ambassador Intense is indeed very similar to Elixir, so if you like that scent profile imagine this. Ambassador Intense is a lighter, fruitier version of Elixir. It has a mango and cardamom note on top throughout the whole existence of the fragrance, other than that, there are minute differences here and there that does separate it from Elixir, but still maintains a very similar scent profile. To most people, both fragrances will strike the nose the same way. I feel like Ambassador Intense is a little less dense, a little more aromatic (spicy), and slightly more versatile because of the fruity top notes. I would go as far as saying that Ambassador Intense is a little more mass appealing because of the fact its not as heavy and it has that mango note that leaves a "Sweet Elixir" scent trail that smells intoxicating. I personally don't get much of the licorice in Ambassador Intense as I do Elixir, in Elixir the licorice note is much more prominent. As both the fragrance wears down, I actually prefer the Ambassador Intense over Elixir. Elixir is known for being absolutely nuclear as we all know, and I do think that Ambassador Intense gives Elixir a run for its money. I can smell Ambassador Intense for DAYS after wearing, just like Elixir. One difference I've observed though is that since Ambassador Intense isn't as "heavy" my nose doesn't go blind to it like I do with Elixir. With Elixir it's so strong that I go nose blind after a couple hours. With Ambassador Intense I'm getting wiffs day and night. The performance is very good with Ambassador Intense. Versatility. I believe that Ambassador Intense is slightly more versatile as stated above. It can be worn easier during the day, than Elixir can be. So if you love Elixir and want something maybe more wearable, I'd pick Ambassador Intense. Now, I do own Asad. Asad is 95% similar to Elixir. Ambassador Intense and Asad do not smell similar though, TO ME. There is enough deviation there that those two don't smell near as close as Ambassador Intense and Elixir do. As far as nighttime wear, or a formal occasion, I'd still pick Elixir. Elixir has that sense of class and sophistication that's slightly retracted from Ambassador Intense because of the fruity top notes. Ambassador Intense can still be a formal scent that has a level of sophistication, but I find it to be more "playful/youthful" than Elixir. Ambassador Intense is a cool weather/warm evening wear. Elixir is a cold weather, cold evening wear. All in all, Ambassador Intense is a very very good fragrance. It's worth being in your collection if you like Elixir. Jomashop currently has 3.4oz bottles for less than $90. It's a steal at that price. The performance is very strong, people WILL smell this on you just like Elixir. It can choke you out if you spray too heavy, Just like Elixir. Hope this helps shed some light on the comparison of Ambassador Intense and Sauvage Elixir! Ambassador Intense has been, and will remain my signature cooler weather fragrance for a long time.

Re-writing my review here as I've had this a little while and I feel I can summarize it better now. Initially a little sad with the performance, but I knew a lot of these weird "clone" type deals will show some maceration with time. No exception on this one. I've had it for a little over a month. I wore it the day I recieved it and was a little sad, it was the perfect cool summer/warm fall/spring version of Sauvage Elixir, but it didn't perform as expected. It gave me 4 hours or so of good performance. Zoom forward to today, it was a bit cooler outside so I decided to give this another shot and I'm glad I did. It very much is performing like DSE, a little less sillage than DSE, but the longevity is holding right up now. I'm 8 hours in and I don't think it's close to done still yet. Very glad to say this about it. I could see how many would view this as a clone of DSE, it definitely is showing some of the same stuff going on. Licorice is the main accord leaning it toward that comparison. They definitely found whatever licorice note is found within DSE because they are virtually the same. The bit of cinnamon and whatnot coming into the mix make the similarity stick out a bit more. Outside of those couple of notes though, this stuff is nothing the same. If you were to maybe make the comparison, I'd have to say its DSE with an almost tropical vibe. But really, this stuff is a nice almost all season masculine machine. I get a lot of stuff that comes from this to my nose. Parts of the Sauvage dna, parts of CDN Urban Man Elixir, like they took the bit of Aventus that they put in the CDN and added that here. In my previous review I compared it pretty heavily to CDNUME, and I think that still stands, but if you took CDN and really thickened it up with the licorice. Performance is on par with most of my higher power stuff, good sillage and longevity 10-14 hours before it'll tame to the skin a bit more. I had a lady stop me at work demanding to know what this stuff was, she couldn't stop telling me how great it smelled. Lol. Overall I'm glad I picked this up, it'll save me sprays of my bottle of DSE, and it has a bit more variance on when you can wear it as I basically refuse to wear DSE if it's not colder than 40F outside. So this gives me a slightly warmer weather option when I'm feeling that vibe.

This is an easy reach for me. I use this every time after i’ve gotten a haircut, showered, or been to the gym or sauna. This smells so masculine and sexy. I don’t wear this when i am out, nor when i am on a date. I wear this at work, gym, or when i am out with the boys. This fragrance is undeniably masculine, but it is an acquired taste. Not everyone may like it, according to the media. From my experience though, everyone likes this. The performance is very good as well, and it is very reliable and versatile. This can easily be your signature, for literally any occasion. Me personally i use this when i want to smell masculine and fresh, kinda like barbershop ish with licor in the background. This smells fougere, fresh (juices and berries), and spicy at the same time with that nutmeg and licorice note. The original Ambassador smells like Dior Sauvage EDP mixed with Mango, apple and vanilla. While the Ambassador Intense smells like Dior Sauvage Elixir with the Sauvage core toned down, and added raspberry and more licorice. Longevity: 8.25/10 Projection: 8/10 Scent profile: 9/10 Compliment factor: 8.75/10 Overall: 8.5/10. Gisada Ambassador Intense is not blind buy safe, i recommend you to smell it before buying it. I think it’s nice, but it is definitely an acquired taste.

Licorice, cardamom and nutmeg... This is a very successful combination. I know the opening of this cologne... You had prejudices against this cologne before trying it. I've seen many YouTubers and Instagram influencers rave about this cologne. I doubt this was a publicity stunt. But when I smelled this, my opinion immediately changed. Because I immediately detected the DNA of one of my favorite scents. Gisada Ambassador Intense is, in my opinion, a reinterpretation of Dior Sauvage Elixir. It smells like fruity notes have been added to the classic DNA of Dior Sauvage Elixir. The powderiness of Dior Sauvage Elixir has given way to a fruity sweetness. It has a dark atmosphere that comes with sweetness. All of this makes this cologne easier to wear than Dior Sauvage Elixir. But this cologne is far from the classic Dior Sauvage Elixir. Gisada Ambassador Intense smells really amazing. But it's still an ordinary cologne next to the magnificence of Elixir. Finally, there is no harm in having both colognes. I prefer Gisada Ambassador Intense for more daily use.

I'll keep this one short. Sauvage Elixir 'type' of DNA, however, it is the OG Gisada Ambassador with the mango+fruits in it's opening to dry down, with monster sillage and longevity. I give this a strong 9.5, and I give the OG Gisada Ambassador a 9.6. Both serve a purpose and setting, both being quite multi-functional. Comparing it to Sauvage Elixir, is fair, and owning both, not redundant (I own Sauvage Elixir, Ambassador, and Ambassador Intense). In a short sentence, this is a compliment monster, has insane mass appeal, and at this point of ownership I would prefer over Sauvage Elixir, I've had more compliments from friends/lovers/strangers than Sauvage Elixir. It is the fruity element that makes it much more approachable, in many scenarios. Owning OG Ambassador and Ambassador Intense, makes me feel like I can end my fragrance journey, as I can use OG Ambassador in all seasons but prefer it in the Spring/Summer, while Intense will shine in Fall/Winter. Will I end here, probably not, but if I wanted to I'd be happy with just these two if I wanted to.
