Ambassador Intense

I'm here to shed light on the comparison between Sauvage Elixir and Ambassador Intense. I LOVE both of these fragrances, but keep in mind scent is always subjective. Everybody's sniffer works different than the next. Ambassador Intense is indeed very similar to Elixir, so if you like that scent profile imagine this. Ambassador Intense is a lighter, fruitier version of Elixir. It has a mango and cardamom note on top throughout the whole existence of the fragrance, other than that, there are minute differences here and there that does separate it from Elixir, but still maintains a very similar scent profile. To most people, both fragrances will strike the nose the same way. I feel like Ambassador Intense is a little less dense, a little more aromatic (spicy), and slightly more versatile because of the fruity top notes. I would go as far as saying that Ambassador Intense is a little more mass appealing because of the fact its not as heavy and it has that mango note that leaves a "Sweet Elixir" scent trail that smells intoxicating. I personally don't get much of the licorice in Ambassador Intense as I do Elixir, in Elixir the licorice note is much more prominent. As both the fragrance wears down, I actually prefer the Ambassador Intense over Elixir. Elixir is known for being absolutely nuclear as we all know, and I do think that Ambassador Intense gives Elixir a run for its money. I can smell Ambassador Intense for DAYS after wearing, just like Elixir. One difference I've observed though is that since Ambassador Intense isn't as "heavy" my nose doesn't go blind to it like I do with Elixir. With Elixir it's so strong that I go nose blind after a couple hours. With Ambassador Intense I'm getting wiffs day and night. The performance is very good with Ambassador Intense. Versatility. I believe that Ambassador Intense is slightly more versatile as stated above. It can be worn easier during the day, than Elixir can be. So if you love Elixir and want something maybe more wearable, I'd pick Ambassador Intense. Now, I do own Asad. Asad is 95% similar to Elixir. Ambassador Intense and Asad do not smell similar though, TO ME. There is enough deviation there that those two don't smell near as close as Ambassador Intense and Elixir do. As far as nighttime wear, or a formal occasion, I'd still pick Elixir. Elixir has that sense of class and sophistication that's slightly retracted from Ambassador Intense because of the fruity top notes. Ambassador Intense can still be a formal scent that has a level of sophistication, but I find it to be more "playful/youthful" than Elixir. Ambassador Intense is a cool weather/warm evening wear. Elixir is a cold weather, cold evening wear. All in all, Ambassador Intense is a very very good fragrance. It's worth being in your collection if you like Elixir. Jomashop currently has 3.4oz bottles for less than $90. It's a steal at that price. The performance is very strong, people WILL smell this on you just like Elixir. It can choke you out if you spray too heavy, Just like Elixir. Hope this helps shed some light on the comparison of Ambassador Intense and Sauvage Elixir! Ambassador Intense has been, and will remain my signature cooler weather fragrance for a long time.

Re-writing my review here as I've had this a little while and I feel I can summarize it better now. Initially a little sad with the performance, but I knew a lot of these weird "clone" type deals will show some maceration with time. No exception on this one. I've had it for a little over a month. I wore it the day I recieved it and was a little sad, it was the perfect cool summer/warm fall/spring version of Sauvage Elixir, but it didn't perform as expected. It gave me 4 hours or so of good performance. Zoom forward to today, it was a bit cooler outside so I decided to give this another shot and I'm glad I did. It very much is performing like DSE, a little less sillage than DSE, but the longevity is holding right up now. I'm 8 hours in and I don't think it's close to done still yet. Very glad to say this about it. I could see how many would view this as a clone of DSE, it definitely is showing some of the same stuff going on. Licorice is the main accord leaning it toward that comparison. They definitely found whatever licorice note is found within DSE because they are virtually the same. The bit of cinnamon and whatnot coming into the mix make the similarity stick out a bit more. Outside of those couple of notes though, this stuff is nothing the same. If you were to maybe make the comparison, I'd have to say its DSE with an almost tropical vibe. But really, this stuff is a nice almost all season masculine machine. I get a lot of stuff that comes from this to my nose. Parts of the Sauvage dna, parts of CDN Urban Man Elixir, like they took the bit of Aventus that they put in the CDN and added that here. In my previous review I compared it pretty heavily to CDNUME, and I think that still stands, but if you took CDN and really thickened it up with the licorice. Performance is on par with most of my higher power stuff, good sillage and longevity 10-14 hours before it'll tame to the skin a bit more. I had a lady stop me at work demanding to know what this stuff was, she couldn't stop telling me how great it smelled. Lol. Overall I'm glad I picked this up, it'll save me sprays of my bottle of DSE, and it has a bit more variance on when you can wear it as I basically refuse to wear DSE if it's not colder than 40F outside. So this gives me a slightly warmer weather option when I'm feeling that vibe.

This is an easy reach for me. I use this every time after i’ve gotten a haircut, showered, or been to the gym or sauna. This smells so masculine and sexy. I don’t wear this when i am out, nor when i am on a date. I wear this at work, gym, or when i am out with the boys. This fragrance is undeniably masculine, but it is an acquired taste. Not everyone may like it, according to the media. From my experience though, everyone likes this. The performance is very good as well, and it is very reliable and versatile. This can easily be your signature, for literally any occasion. Me personally i use this when i want to smell masculine and fresh, kinda like barbershop ish with licor in the background. This smells fougere, fresh (juices and berries), and spicy at the same time with that nutmeg and licorice note. The original Ambassador smells like Dior Sauvage EDP mixed with Mango, apple and vanilla. While the Ambassador Intense smells like Dior Sauvage Elixir with the Sauvage core toned down, and added raspberry and more licorice. Longevity: 8.25/10 Projection: 8/10 Scent profile: 9/10 Compliment factor: 8.75/10 Overall: 8.5/10. Gisada Ambassador Intense is not blind buy safe, i recommend you to smell it before buying it. I think it’s nice, but it is definitely an acquired taste.

Licorice, cardamom and nutmeg... This is a very successful combination. I know the opening of this cologne... You had prejudices against this cologne before trying it. I've seen many YouTubers and Instagram influencers rave about this cologne. I doubt this was a publicity stunt. But when I smelled this, my opinion immediately changed. Because I immediately detected the DNA of one of my favorite scents. Gisada Ambassador Intense is, in my opinion, a reinterpretation of Dior Sauvage Elixir. It smells like fruity notes have been added to the classic DNA of Dior Sauvage Elixir. The powderiness of Dior Sauvage Elixir has given way to a fruity sweetness. It has a dark atmosphere that comes with sweetness. All of this makes this cologne easier to wear than Dior Sauvage Elixir. But this cologne is far from the classic Dior Sauvage Elixir. Gisada Ambassador Intense smells really amazing. But it's still an ordinary cologne next to the magnificence of Elixir. Finally, there is no harm in having both colognes. I prefer Gisada Ambassador Intense for more daily use.

I'll keep this one short. Sauvage Elixir 'type' of DNA, however, it is the OG Gisada Ambassador with the mango+fruits in it's opening to dry down, with monster sillage and longevity. I give this a strong 9.5, and I give the OG Gisada Ambassador a 9.6. Both serve a purpose and setting, both being quite multi-functional. Comparing it to Sauvage Elixir, is fair, and owning both, not redundant (I own Sauvage Elixir, Ambassador, and Ambassador Intense). In a short sentence, this is a compliment monster, has insane mass appeal, and at this point of ownership I would prefer over Sauvage Elixir, I've had more compliments from friends/lovers/strangers than Sauvage Elixir. It is the fruity element that makes it much more approachable, in many scenarios. Owning OG Ambassador and Ambassador Intense, makes me feel like I can end my fragrance journey, as I can use OG Ambassador in all seasons but prefer it in the Spring/Summer, while Intense will shine in Fall/Winter. Will I end here, probably not, but if I wanted to I'd be happy with just these two if I wanted to.

Gorgeous scent. It's a dark, sweet and spicy fragrance that is quite complex -- maybe not as complex as the 30 listed notes in the pyramid sets it out to be, but there are a lot of interesting facets to the smell. The smell up close is way different from what the scents smells like in the air. I find this to be quite powdery and sweet but also still smokey and dark -- a combination I have not smelled before. It makes for a very addictive scent when you smell it up close. From further away -- the woods, vetiver, nutmeg and clove are more noticable and given these notes, I can see the 'Sauvage Elixir' comparision, but I don't really agree with it due to the sweet raspberry and powdery anise dimension of 'Ambassador Intense'. Up close, I pick up more raspberry, cardamom, pink pepper, elemi and licorice -- all my favorite notes in perfumery. I've found my new signature scent in 'Ambassador Intense' and I'm asking my friends to bathe my casket in this when I'm buried so I carry this aura with me into the afterlife.

it's like a dark, mysterious evening as a fragrance in a bottle. Awesome scent. Perfect for a night-out or a dinner. I love it. It can definitely be recommended. Perfect scent for a man to wear at a date At the beginning, it is strongly reminiscent of dior sauvage elixir - that licorice note is unmistakable. but then it unfolds into something independent, almost more grown-up. spicy notes of nutmeg and ginger meet a fruity lightness of raspberries, while cinnamon and caramel add a warm sweetness. in the background, something smoky resonates, carried by wood, leather and oakmoss. it is a fragrance that is deep and complex, but never too heavy the longevity simply amazing. the fragrance stays on the skin forever and radiates 4 hours without becoming overpowering. i can still smell it the next day, and of course i get compliments . If you have performance issues; make sure you buy from a safe source Scent: 9/10 Longevity: 9,5/10 Sillage: 9/10 Vallue for money 8/10

I wore Gisada Ambassador Intense as always yesterday, and let me tell you – this fragrance is something special! I applied it at 6 a.m. before heading to work, and even after an intense 18-hour day, I was still receiving compliments on it. In fact, after a long shift, I stopped by a pizzeria, and the pizza chef came over to ask about my fragrance, saying his colleague absolutely loved it. When I told him it was Gisada Ambassador Intense, he was thrilled! This fragrance has serious staying power lasting from early morning until late night without fading. It's bold and memorable, and clearly makes an impression, even hours after application. If you’re looking for a scent that’s both unique and long-lasting, Gisada Ambassador Intense is an amazing choice. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to stand out!

This is a masterpiece! The complex of all these notes just blends perfectly together. I get a lot of licorice and nutmeg. I find it easy to wear and can be used for most situations. It's a really unique scent as I don't really see the Dior Sauvage in here, except for the spicy notes. On my skin, I get at least 8 hours of projection before it becomes a skin scent. Three to five sprays will work excellently. However, don't go over 3 if it's too warm. It's also important to note, that if you wear it, let it dry down for a minimum of 15 minutes, or it will be too strong for people. Therefore, don't go heavy on the sprays unless, there is enough time to let it dry down, or it's colder. Overall it is a massive compliment-getter. Every time I have worn it, I have gotten a lot of compliments after several hours.

The licorice in it truly reminds me, along with the vibe, of Sauvage Elixir. Not a clone, but certainly inspired. I do not smell the original in the composition, aside the construction and evolution in aroma chemicals, not the notes themselves - while I do wish mango was here, or at least more of the original. Smells strong, really has good performance on my skin, as well as in the air. It'll dress up but doesn't dress down super easily (more upscale casual, if so) - don't think it's too juvenile nor "shorts" appropriate. Would make it a signature, but for more mature men - perhaps 25-27+. Highly recommending to get it from Amazon when their promos show up from Swiss-Fragrance (got my 100ml for ~$56).

This feels like a good compliment magnet. I personally really like spicy and sweet perfumes without strong vanilla notes, and this hits that spot perfectly. There’s a lot happening in the scent at once; I can mostly detect raspberry, a spicy mix dominated by licorice and cardamom, and some floral notes. Caramel and vanilla subtly hold the entire composition together. It’s definitely a male perfume, perhaps too strong for daytime wear, but it could work amazingly for an evening or date fragrance. The projection feels strong and could potentially be headache-inducing for some if oversprayed. Before purchasing, I would recommend sampling Sauvage Elixir and Asad, which offer a similar scent profile.

I recently did a review of this on my Youtube "Rotten Rebel" and like always wanted to share my thoughts on here as well! I like it. A lot. Spicy citrusy freshness with a bit of sweetness and a dose of lavender at the top makes a GREAT opening. The full dry-down is (to me) mostly about a big (but soft) dose of sweetness with a bit of florals, on a musky base with vanilla, leather, and patchouli. Parts of it (especially the opening) reminds me of Sauvage Elixir but in the end it does it's own thing. A great fragrance, quite versatile for being this kind of scent, with solid performance and definitely a scent that gets compliments.

I actually prefer this over the original one after wearing it for a while now. Much more character to it and the spices really uplift it to a whole other level! If you have a trained nose, you will notice that this has absolutely nothing to do with Sauvage Elixir. They smell very different, however due to the spices they might come of as similar to each other but in reality they're very much different perfumes altogether. I'm not sure why people keep comparing it to Sauvage Elixir as this one on its own is a very different perfume but I think the masses wouldn't be able to tell the difference unless they trained their nose more.

@reserveprivee Fair enough. That is true, it is not as dark as elixir for sure. But I actually like that about. Elixir was really in your face in the first hours then it settled down. I like it as well, more than Elixir. To me the OG was a bit of a disappointment to be honest. That is like a stronger with you scent, a mall scent. Not very unique in my opinion. It's just another sauvage with a mango DNA. I own it, and I like it. But I'm not amazed by it. But again, I am talking about the OG at this point. The intense is really really good though. I have yet to try out Fahrenheit. Given that it's out for a pretty long time now.

It might feel redundant if you already own DS Elixir, Parfum, or even the EDP. Although this is not a clone, it will definitely remind you of the Sauvage line. It smells good. Long-lasting, and diffusive, it leaves an amazing scent trail (especially the opening). Scent: 8.5/10 Projection: 9/10 Longevity: 9/10 Update 12/29/2024: I didn't know it could be a room-filler. I sprayed it six times on my skin and clothes before going out. At the bank, the teller, who had a stuffy nose (I could tell from her voice), told me I smelled good, and the other tellers near her agreed. I asked if it was too strong and then apologized. Yikes.

This brand has been very sketchy in my experience. I ordered ambassador intense, they sent me a bottle that's about 60% full. I told them this and never got a response. Be wary. The scent itself is amazing though. The sweetness may not he everyone's cup of tea, but personally it gets more woody and aromatic in the drydown. To me upon the opening, it smelt like a combination of the best of sauvage elixir and bleu de chanel parfum, plus azzaro wanted by night. That's what it smelt like to me anyways, as something to compare it to. It's a shame. I love the fragrance but can't really justify buying again.

i knew i had to properly glaze this when i put it on at 5pm one evening and woke up at 10am with it JUST as strong as it was the night before. it lasts forever on my skin and smells amazing. there's so many different notes that come to the nose, id say its rather wood-like, rain smell, heavy on the leather and musk smell. the cinnamon and jasmine mid notes pair really well together. like other reviews have mentioned its fruity, but not in a bright and apparent way, its mainly overshadowed by the leather and wood notes. i feel like it smells like its own bottle of whiskey like it just is so perfect

Well I had to step in here after the last 3 comments. It doesn't matter who recommended it. Car air freshener.? This company is a joke? Says the guy with a bunch of cheapies in his collection lol. Anywho, this is a fantastic blend and composition. Fruity, warm and spicy. Just a tad bit darker than the OG. I have both and I wear both. I've been a collector for years and years. I have fragrance from Disigner, Middle Eastern and Niche. I've had nothing but good compliments from people when I wear this juice and even helped people get some bottles. Appreciate and don't hate, stay smelling great!! 😎

This is something WAY beyond my paycheck (Edit: saw some physical store listing this for a very high price, online it's listed for a more manageable amount), but it smells like MONEY! It gives off the energy of a confident big finance CEO that probably had an affair with his secretary... not that I wanna smell like that, but it's what I can compare it to. If I were to have this, I'd use it SPARINGLY. There is absolutely no reason to wear this on the daily unless you're the CEO I mentioned earlier. Let's say I have to get married or go on a high-brow date at some point, then I'd wear this.

Great! I like it more with each use. Fresh, long-lasting, and with its own personality. Very versatile without losing its richness. I understand the comparisons to Asad, which I also own, but they don't make sense, as there are many other fragrances with the same olfactory profile to compare it to, and many more similar to Asad than to it. I like both, but I think this one doesn't try to imitate other fragrance, as Asad does, and because it's distinct from all the rest, it deserves much more recognition as a signature fragrance.

Just astonishing. A smoky, woody and somewhat leathery smell. In the opening it's like the elixir, but then it becomes the king of its own territory. It's warm, but not only for winter. It's stronger than the original one and I love the original one also. Pricewise, it's a Swiss product and like anything from this mountain country, it's expensive, but it's worth each Swiss Franc you pay for it. My only worry is that they gonna reformulate it! I will buy one or two bottles in the next retail discount to stay on the safe side.

This fragrance delivers in every single aspect. An intoxicating and complex scent that lasts a long time, fruity and spicy, warm and comfortable. The sillage and projection are both top notch. Suitable for almost every situation, except for high heat. Definitely more wearable and versatile than Dior Sauvage Elixir and also more interesting. The price offers great value, especially at discounters. I paid €84 for 100 ml. You can tell the perfume oil concentration is quite high by the residue on the atomizer. 9/10.

My first time testing this, I wasn’t all that impressed. I liked it overall, but something about it just didn’t work for me, especially compared to the original Ambassador, which I loved right away. I recently tried it again and my opinion has changed. The licorice note, which I believe was what threw me off at first, doesn’t bother me anymore. Now I find myself really enjoying it. While I still prefer the original over the Intense, this one is in my top three fragrances for colder weather.

my first ever blind buy, you know you are lucky when you buy the better fruity version of your favorite fragrance. definitely my favorite fragrance from now on. sweet but does not give a headache, fruity but the fruitiness doesn't go away in 2 hours, spicy but not overwhelmingly. love it. if you want a little of everything as we say in Turkish, go for it. you should be able to use it in pretty much every season including summer if you want to fill the room with this beautiful scent.

Im not sure if gisada wanted to make these 2 fragrances smell similar to sauvage and sauvage elixir,but they did it in the best way possible,even better than them,this smells really great,cinnamon with woods,freshness and spiciness to the max,incredible longevity and in my opinion this is better than sauvage elixir for about the same price,10/10 i once sprayed 6 times and my dad asked me what cologne i am wearing 7 hours later,which is insane,it lasts like 12-16 hours

I own both. There was a discount at Douglas by 20% so I was like meh... Let's have both. To some ladies, OG is the winner, to other ladies, intense is the winner. Personally, I love the intense better than the original. It's more expensive as well, so they know it's a better scent. It reminds me of Sauvage Elixir in a way, but to me this is much much more unique and sophisticated. This is definitely a blind and back up bottle buy worthy fragrance. Highly recommended.

I own both Ambassador and Ambassador Intense the original was a favorite until I got the intense this ia a compliment monster last about 8 to10 hours on my skin it has a slight20% dior Sauvage elixir vibe,but it is 80% different sweeter smokier and darker first time I wore it on a night out got 6 compliments 2 from women I did not know. I originally bought a 50ml bottle then they released a 100 ml bottle so I bought that as a back up for me this is a solid 10

Wow there's a lot of hate for this fragrance. Headaches??? Synthetic mess?? All hype?? I've been a collector for years. I'm 44 years young. I've never smelled the Dior elixir. I can tell you this much. Everytime I've worn this fragrance the compliments keep coming. I don't wear fragrance for compliments. I wear it to please ME. It is my third favourite gisada fragrance (the best is titanium imo). It is not going to be as for example titanium or sauvage, but for me there is no better spicy fragrance, there is something about this mix that i love. Most people say that the fact that there are less fruits is bad, and i agree, that its worse but if you want something more directed at spiceness I reccomend it but you definatelly shouldn't blind buy this one.

In my opinion this one is a beast mode fragrance for the colder weather! The longevity is insane, and the sillage is on the top too! Many people say it is like a cheap copy of Dior Sauvage Elixir, but to my nose it is completely different. It is more fruity and sweeter than Sauvage Elixir, expect the performance, it is the same! So if you like fruity-spiced-warm-sweeter fragrances give this a try!

This is gorgeous. Something about the way it hits the nose is similar to Sauvage Elixir, but the smell itself is way different, I can't quite explain it. It is quite sweet yet in a very masculine way. It is mass appealing, projects enormously, and is quite cheap for what it does. I'd recommend this to anyone who likes the Sauvage Elixir style of fragrances, but don't expect the same kind of smell.

Darkcnet i dont know about him beeing scetchy... He dose get a alot aff free bottles from pdm/initio/fgdb so its a bit off a shill warning tho ..lets just say I dont get my info and reviews from Rotten Rebell cause he "loves"alot off the free gifts he is getting a bit to much... So go watch other more trusted reviews out there like robes08 or gentsscents that havent sold out

Just got this one in today, after first spraying it, it instantly reminded my of Sauvage Elixir. This is a pretty complex fragrance and could be considered “overdone.” I think Sauvage elixir is a bit denser than this, but if you already have a bottle of elixir, probably pretty redundant to buy this also. Good pick up if you are attracted to those scent profiles though

I did not like Dse, i dont like Asad...i dont like enny off the "clones" Ive tested, this? This hitta the spott Gisada has made a smoother version then Dior Elexir..its still chemical (just like 99% off perfumes...thank gooood for that) but its just the right mix imo. The nutmegg here is perfectly smooth.. i realy hate stingy nettels nuttmeg....

Love, love, love!! Definitely a compliment puller. I've worn this like a 100 times and every time feels like it's the first time again, I can't get enough of it. I'm not having any performance issues, this thing pulls straight up 8-12 hour shifts and when you wake up, you still smell it, ambassador intense my beloved

The silage and longevity are very similar to Dior Sauvage Elixir. This scent can be smelled even after u take a shower, crazy. I can see where people smell the similarities between this and DSE but I guess where Elixir can be a bit too much sometimes this scent is easier to wear without gassing an entire room.

ooooh this fragrance is diffrente i love it performance 10 hours with 7 hours of good silage. i dont understand the only similarities to sauvage is the sweetnes is almost the same thats all. other then that way better in my opinoin and not going to lie you can really pull this off in the sumer .love it 10/10

I'll give you an accurate explanation, It has like 30% dior Sauvage elixir vibes, 70% will be more sweet, smoky and dark, and be noted that it smells luxurious and mature. I like it and I think I'll buy this one in a cold to moderate weather, not suitable for hot climate except cold indoor area.

I absolutely love this, it’s definitely in the realm of Assad but the quality is way improved and the intensity is toned up. It’s also a way fresher take on the Dior elixir/Assad DNA I much rather prefer this I love it!! It’s literally like a sweet spicy glacier blast.

Dior Sauvage Elixir with the OG Gisada Ambassador dna hanging around there in the background. It's nice. If you like this style of fragrance maybe try this before sauvage since it's more unique. Haters will say it's only for fall/winter but I'll wear it year round ;)

A darker but not stuffy maple syrupy soapy amber Sauvage Elixir with a touch of fruitiness up top. Reminds me of Polo Red EDP with Sauvage DNA prickly warm spice Very masculine Performance is good My wife loves it and other women seem to really like it I like it

Absolutely love this thing, feels like a fruitier, more cozy version of Sauvage Elixir. Sillage and longevity are about the same, but I love this one even more. It just clicks better with me. Suits men under 40 better. This and the OG are absolutely brilliant.

I've had this for 2 days and I have gotten 6 compliments already, more than any cologne I have ever had. Longevity is insane on this, I smell it the whole day even going to bed after a shower. Silage is good and its not a headache giver. This is a must buy !

Amazing! A wow frag for sure. I have sauvage elixir as well, and I think I like this a tad more. Brighter and so much more potent than sauvage elixir. I do enjoy elixir very much. Would say this is for day, sauvage elixir is for night. 10 out of 10 imo

The only similarity between this and Sauvage Elixir is the nutmeg note, Gisada Ambassador is a more complex fragrance. Everytime I wear it I pick up on a different note. I totally dig the fragrance and think it’s a masterpiece of perfumery.

Really nice for Fall/Winter, definitely got reminded of sauvage elixir but a bit toned down with that strong spices note and much fruitier which i prefer. I would recommend checking this out if elixir came off cloying and strong to you.

Simply a cheaper and longer lasting Dior Sauvage Elixir. I would say that 3 sprays is the maximum for this fragrance, otherwise it would simply be to overpowering. I used 3 sprays at about 7 pm, and could smell it 1 pm, the day after.

I read many times this is a Sauvage Elixir dupe, but in my skin is a tottaly different scent, its softer and not so loud, i like both, a different feeling, a different adventure, if you like masculine scents it can be a blind buy.
