Donna

Lovely feminine and transparent fragrance. Mysterious purple flowers, juicy green apple and the coffee note that makes Donna slightly reminiscent of Noa by Cacharel. Nicely done for spring and summer romantic dates.

I bought a sample after watching Paulina Schar's recent cotton candy video. However the sample I got was for the Eau de Toilette with a photo of the old style bottle on the sleeve. The notes for both are the same but I can't find an actual Eau de Toilette online anywhere. I'm confused. Did the EDT become the EDP? Is there no longer an EDT? Why are the notes the same? I see the old style bottle on Fragrantica but it's not clear if it's EDT or EDP. Review for the sample I got : opens up hairsprayish, too much going on and I'm not a fan. It is sweet but it doesn't scream cotton candy. Powdery, yes. Peach blossom yes. Coffee also faintly present. Honestly, I don't really like it. Headachey. It's stuffy with something sharp and scratchy in it. Not for me. I love violet and iris notes but not here.

The opening is pretty nice but then the violent smell like weird old lady like with sandalwood making it sharp and scratchy

Received it as a sample, did not like it, too cloying for me and the dry down feels way mature, like my old aunt mature

As Sammbac commented there’s something really weird about this release. There seem to be 2 different versions of it: an EDP in the pink bottle released 2025, then the EDT spray in the square, transparent bottle released 2026 with the peach bow. The notes are similar but not the same.! THEN there’s a 50ml and 100ml in a cylindrical transparent bottle on Fragrancenet and Cosmetics Now which is an EDP spray! BUT Cosmetics Now describes the notes as: tonka, cedar, musk, patchouli, vanilla. You cannot seem to get the pink bottle version in Australia anywhere. I thought this might be because it’s a 2025 release and that there’s still lots of old stock around. Reading some of the other reviews, especially for Ambassadora, if you ask me there's something a bit off about the whole brand.

This Donna is strictly for lovers of super-powdery violet and iris. Do not expect any gourmand notes here, just powder. Although a new release, it is very retro, dusty and cloying.
