Coco-Cacao Honey Infused Hair Perfume

Cannot smell much coconut or chocolate, it's more of a cocoa or shea butter scent. Smells like Coconut by Bath&Body Works.

First off, I want to say that their original honey perfume has been my favorite hair fragrance for years now. I haven’t really enjoyed any of their other flankers until now. I bought this immediately on first sniff. It’s fairly basic, but at the same time, it’s everything I want in a coconut fragrance. Very summery with rich & delicious beachy vibes. I wish they made the bigger bottle! I hear it is limited edition and that’s a bummer. I think it has a universal appeal that most will like. The honey definitely isn’t as strong as the original. It’s more coconut forward. It is milky chocolate, but in the best way, not sugary sweet but more of a homemade hot cocoa vibe. I don’t usually buy scents from the first sniff but at only $25, it was a no-brainer for me. I could see layering this with many fragrances to give a playful summery topper. It has decent lasting power for a hair fragrance. I’m calling this a win from Gisou. I don’t think it smells like the coconut from BBW at all, it’s denser and more sophisticated. I’m hoping it becomes popular and they keep it around! If you’re a fan of realistic coconut scents, I’d say it’s blind buy safe. It’s a yummy dry gourmand without being sickeningly sweet & everything I thought Choco Musk would be before I smelled it and was incredibly disappointed. The sandalwood note in this one gives it an alluring woody depth. The fact that it is good for your hair and leaves it soft and shiny is a wonderful added bonus! Love love Gisou Coco Cacao ! 🍫

I think Gisou are good at making fragrances, really. And, of course, any perfume release from them is so interesting cause they go only for "trending" type of scents with these non-risky gourmands. That's okay. So, there been three 15ml bottles for the Autumn collection. And now they again added two 15ml bottles. Why they don't release them in 50ml too? What's the point of this? Even considering my obsession with notes like these, and overall Iove for the brand, I just don't see reasons to buy releases like this. Travel sizes won't last long, and it's really inconvenient to buy lots of minis. These brands already giving us lots of FOMO with them limited edition releases. I don't want to feel some sort of separation anxiety when that little bottle ends lol.
