Gisou Honey Infused Hair Perfume

I’ve gotten so many compliments. It was love at first spritz, and i absolutely adore this citrusy, honey, meadow flowery, abricot, peachy powdery scent by Gisou. I hope they make this into an Eau de Parfum. So it lasts even longer on me. It’s pretty, youthful, delightfull, delicious, addicting and inviting. It’s super cozy. Whenever I smell it, I just melt away in a pool of cozy blankets on a spring Sunday morning. 🌿🧺 ☀️ Fresh out of the shower, taking a nap with your windows slightly open to feel the warm breeze and hear the kid’s laughter mixed with bird sounds, outside inviting into your room as you fall asleep and dream of frolicking in a meadow full honey bee flowers, wearing a white dress with pink summer shoes. Sunshine rays peeking through your laced curtains onto your bedroom floor and warming up your face as you dream away... zzz.. ... zzzz ...zz.. ......zzzz..zzzz 🍯 🐝 🌸 My friends always tell me it just smells like me. I love how they think it’s my own smell. This is the parfum of my dreams. After years of experimenting I finally found it. Only I wish that I had tried this on before. I am Dutch and since Gisou is a Dutch-found company, I am even more happy to make it my signature fragrance. It’s exclusive and elevating. On dates, I have boys continuesly sniffing my hair. I'm surprised that this perfume has so many mixed reviews! I guess everyone's noses are different. I first got this back in 2023 after smelling it in the Sephora store and then practically crawling back to purchase it. I don't know how to describe this scent, I understand that it doesn't smell that much like honey, it's more floral/citrus forward with a grounding honey note tying them together. It's one of my favorite perfumes that I own, and one of the few that I've had to repurchase. I wear this when I don't want to smell too offensive, but rather that pretty feminine scent that can waft people when I give them hugs or they lean in close to me. I've worn this during the wintertime, and it has just enough of the warm honey in it to feel suitable to the cold weather. It doesn't smell soapy to me, but it does smell clean. Fresh, clean, sweet, floral. I think those are all safe words to describe this. I'm a professional hater of patchouli, pepper, spice, woody, any notes that aren't really considered sweet or feminine, I dislike. This perfume isn't any of those notes to me. Ps. I love Gisou hair products as well, so this perfume pairs extremely well when I use the hair oil and hair mask :)

I genuinely do not care what anyone else says, this perfume has and always will have a special place in my heart! (I’m not even that big of a floral fan, it’s just that good!) It’s so goddamn pretty, I have the hair oil too so pairing them together not only makes my hair look beautiful and so shiny but also smell amazing. To me it’s fresh and powdery because of the wild flowers but that honey is so sweet and comforting, it really is the perfect balance. I remember when I first got this, I hadn’t even sprayed it yet and I just new I was in love from smelling the bottle cap, it’s definitely a permanent part of my collection so I’ll always make sure to have a bottle. Wearing this makes me feel so girly and cute, like a pretty little garden fairy. It’s a happy scent, perfect for daily wear on any occasion and will uplift your spirits along with anyone around you, it’s just one of those scents that will make you smile. It lasts for quite a while too, at least several hours and the projection is good because I’ve had others around me mention how lovely I smell! Also, I did blind buy this and overall I’d say it’s a safe buy that you won’t regret! If you’re thinking about getting it, go for it!

This hair perfume is so good and one of the longest lasting I've found. Whenever I use it, I spray it with a fairly heavy hand (3+ spritzes) on my hair and clothes, but it's never overpowering. It's sweet and warm from the honey and then there's a nectary burst of fruit (apricot maybe?) mixed with blooming florals. I can't put my finger on what flower(s) are in the floral note but they're not too strong, perhaps orange blossom? Overall, this is such a beautiful hair perfume that performs better longevity-wise than some of the EDPs I have. It's also always is a major compliment getter. Not a traditional "shampoo" smell but definitely makes you feel fresh, clean, and confident. Cannot recommend this enough!

I kid you not, I like this better than a lot of perfumes in my collection. This smells SO GOOD! I’ve gotten tons of compliments from this alone! It’s a great spring scent. I just bought the wild rose edition... people have been comparing it to Delina, which seems like a stretch but I’ll come back and update y’all when I get it. I’ll never not have this in my collection. It’s SO pretty, I adore it. Edit: I got my wild rose edition today and its a pretty close dupe for Delina Exclusif! It’s not quite as strong and is just slightly more airy with a fruity hint, but a strong rose vanilla fragrance! It’s really lovely, I recommend that one as well especially if you like Delina!

Perfect addition to any day. I usually use this if I’m going out to bar, work event or anything more special than a normal day. It adds so much to your scent trail, it feels like every inch of you smells so delightful! A sweet floral scent that screams feminine. Perfect for summer but could be worn year round. Doesn’t make hair greasy or weighed down in anyway. 2-3 sprays and you are set alll day. I can put it on in the morning and my boyfriend can smell it when we lay down to cuddle and fall asleep. Will rebuy when I run out

oh yes im lucky! it smells heavenly to me. light floral citrusy scent with soft honey. a little bit sweet. i was searching for something like this!!! took me 3 tries, yay. don’t put this on your hair pls, it has alcohol. every time i read someone saying that it makes their hair shinier and prettier i laugh. wish it lasted longer, but i really don’t mind it being not in-your-face. anyway, now i don’t know if i should buy a 10ml of new Phlur’s fragrance Honey Moon since I have this...

I ordered 15ml and they put a Gisou Leave-in Conditioner in my package instead of this. I mean why thank you I'm sad ok. but why that conditioner smells so good? you really made that caramel honey milky sandalwood scent and didn't 50ml bottle it? GISOU DON'T LOOSE ME DON'T LOOSE YOUR MONEY. I KNOW this fragrance doesn't smell like that beauty i don't want no flowers no roses no lavender GIVE ME THAT EXACT SCENT

I love this, I use it just like a regular fragrance so I can justify spending almost $50 on it haha. It doesn’t have much of a honey fragrance but it smells like sweetened clementine and nondescript flowers. Reminds me of citrus scented hand soap they have in the bathroom of my local mall but I mean this in a good way. Reminiscent of Avon’s sweet honesty, wildflowers and powdery honey with a hint of citrus.

This is a happy, gorgeous fragrance, redolent with honey and sun kissed blooms. Our eldest daughter (16) wears this daily in her hair to school, along with Pure Honey perfume. I’ve received comments from several of her teachers that she’s the best smelling student they’ve ever had. This frag is an absolutely safe blind buy, with great sillage. It’s also a beast, lasting the entire school day easily.

This is a perfume I think would suit everyone - it's impossible not to love. The smell clings to ur hair and smells like whipped, airy, honey. The notes are sweet, airy, floral, feminine and overall beautiful. This perfume is not overly expensive and will last you a long time. I've gone through multiple bottles over the last 4 years, only because I use it so much. Safe blind buy and a great gift!

Yummy honey smell in a bottle. It makes your hair smells so luxurious and comforting. After a few hours I could still smell a small cloud around me. Pair it with Scandal by Night by JPG or Kayali 57 White Flower, thank me later! Is there a perfume that smells exactly like this? If so, I want it!

It definitely smells nostalgic and girly. I feel youthful and sweet when I wear it. Someone else in the comments mentioned it smells like My Little Pony and I think it’s because of the youthful, sweet and innocent vibes it gives. My mother commented that she smelled something pretty like honey.

seriously the best thing ever. i swear they lace this stuff with something because i’m constantly sniffing it. smells very rich and all of gisou’s honey products just smell amazing, especially this i’m not even big on brands but i got a free sample of this and WOW

This perfume is sweet honey scented soap with a full propolis body. Really pleasant, and a safe blind buy. It has moderate projection after a few hours, but at first spray it is really powerful. Can be worn day or night, friendly and sexy!

On my second bottle. This takes me back. I’ll catch whiffs of this days after when my hair is moving around. It makes your hair smell like sweet flowers. It also reminds me of baby cologne? Very delicate and gentle and floral.

to me, this smells a lot like the rose & vanilla pillow mist b&bw had a while ago. i get what a lot of people are saying though, it does smells a bit more like citrus than honey. it’s really pleasant though - worth it to me

Honey that's been diluted with water, kind of like a sugar syrup for the bees on a hot summer's day. Got a bit of bitterness from the wildflowers but paired well-together with other clean-girl scents for the office.

very floral honey scent! it's very soft and almost powdery smelling. it's kinda soapy? when i worked at sephora i would spray this in my hair pretty much every day. a true wildflower honey.

tbh maybe I should actually spray it in my hair rather than my body. I think it definitely is meant to smell good in hair. Clean, makes me feel like a popular girl that has it all together.

sweet and subtle, clean girl aesthetic. it doesn't project too much, but I can spray it at night and still smell it when I wake up. personally love the honey version better than the floral

My favourite scent out of the Gisou line. It’s more on the sweeter side than what I’m used to but in no way is it overpowering. Gisou should really start selling perfumes, not lipglosses!

Wow, reading these reviews, I guess I got really lucky. I spritzed the sample right on my hair and it smelled like real rich honey from flower pollen, what I imagine authentic raw honey smells like, a sample they'd spoonfeed you during a tour of a generationally-run organic apiary out in the deep country. Very natural-smelling... I dunno how to describe it other than it really smells like honey from real flowers (I wanna say chamomile?). Lol. Like woah what a pleasant surprise, it's really rich and deep and real, I was totally expecting the scent of synthetic/refined corn-syrup-type honey you'd get from sniffing the yellow squeezey bottles. That scent is a kinda sickly yellow, this is a darker warm amber. I didn't cop a bottle because it's not a worthy investment for me personally, but if it cooperates with your hair (sample first!) I think it's really quite nice. Small update: okay I'm seriously considering getting her (especially as I'm getting more interested in hair mists) she's been on my mind for days... only thing stopping me is the price lol

I really loved the smell of the gissou hair oil I had a sample of and was so happy to find out they sell it in hair perfume form. I can't really say that it smells like honey, and I can't really say what exactly it smells like it terms of notes. It's neither here nor there. It's very mellow and balmy in aroma. It's very pretty, very cozy, and comforting. The opening is a bit different from the hair oil, and I get a blast of orange or orange blossom, but that doesn't last long, maybe 5 minutes. The performance is not great. I can smell it wafting around my hair for a short while 30+ minutes after spraying 4x. But when I spray it on my wrist, I have to really sniff my wrist to smell it. Which I don't mind, but I do wish it was a bit better.

Ok, it's growing on me. I thought it smelled like one of those old dried out bar soaps someone has in their guest bathroom that have cemented onto the side of the sink... Anyway, it was given to me as a gift and I was considering just returning it cause I really hated it at first, but now I'm liking it. It kind of has a vintage powdery smell. Spraying it on the hair also makes the honey come out a bit more. Probably because of how it interacts with the oils on your hair? I probably won't use it much because my hair is very fragile, but as a treat it'll be nice to use after deep hair mask day.

Such a good perfume with a dominant honey scent, it has a nostalgic feeling to it but any age group could ware it honestly, at first spray there’s a weird bitterness to it maybe it’s the honey mixing with the citrus but even that bitterness smells nice to me and then it dries down and the powdery floral notes kicks in and it becomes divine~ , the longevity and silage of it is moderate my mom could still faintly smell it on me even thow I sprayed it the night before , perfect for layering and I use it sometimes as a normal perfume

honestly pretty good hair perfume for the price! just a simple clean, white floral with a touch of honeyed sweetness. kind of reminds me of bath and body works sweet pea if it had a nice dose of honey, but overall just a fresh shampooey scent that's a bit sweeter. doesn't last long- no more than three hours i'd say. i'd like to try the amika hair perfume next because i enjoy the scent of their other products- would love to hear more recs of good hair perfumes, predicting this space to blow up during 2023!!

This is a fresh, honeyed floral! There is a really nice fresh/ozonic quality to it which I love. The longevity is decent at 3-4 hours and it projects well! I can pick out orange blossom, honey and a little bit of grapefruit although the breakdown of notes isn't listed. I love to layer this with citrus scents particularly Clementine California and Bal d'Afrique. This would make a great gift and I recommend pairing it with the hair oil for a more intense scent trail! 8/10

I like this perfume. It wasn't what I was expecting from its notes' and name though. It smells like orange blossom/clementine. Its floral, but a light citrusy orangey floral. The honey is there but it isn't super strong. I was hoping for a strong, heavy honey scent. I do notice a little bit of the soapyness others mentioned, but its not overpowering. Its there if you look for it I think. I love the fact its a hair perfume, and it lasts around 4-6 hours for me.

A scent that embodies grace and femininity. this perfume will definitely suit down-to-earth girls that never fail to brighten everyone's day with their presence and positivity. Smell more onto the floral side and surprisingly more powdery than I thought. Though it did not last long on my hair, it did give me the serotonin boost I need whenever I put it on every morning. Every night, I wailed tears of agony that this perfume was not made into a body fragrance.

This to me smells like a soapy bubblebath. It's a little powdery and sweet, but I don't get honey or flowers. I only smell the honey in the drydown on my hair, but when I spray it on skin it's not there. I like this scent because it's different. Definitely not what I expected this to smell like but it's nice and clean, which is exactly what I want in a hair perfume. I wish it lasted longer and projected more though.

Slightly soapy flowers drenched in honey. I got a 50ml bottle of this from a haircare set from Gisou and to my surprise, this was the best thing to have come out of it! It's not complex but I think that's why I gravitate to it so much, especially during the spring. I use this as a regular perfume on the skin, as I don't really like spraying perfume on my hair, even if it is advertised as such.

This truly does smell like the pink liquid soap in public school restrooms, but in your hair it’s nice and clean smelling and quite nice. I don’t think it’s anything to lose your mind over and wouldn’t repurchase it at retail price, but I enjoy it. I spray about 10 times in the hair and can smell it throughout the day, but no one else will.

There is a bit of a BO aftersmell to this, but overall a nice, clean scent that doesn't become cloying—I think the honey goes a long way in grounding the floral notes. I think this is a great sort of frivolous or playful scent, and it is nice that it's formulated for hair. Great for summer.

This unfortunately does not smell like honey it smells really nice like a clean antibacterial soap you would find in a school with a slight hint of one of those orange lollipops you would get at a bank as a kid so it is a pretty nostalgic one but not what I was exspecting

like a dusty clementine soap, gets a little floral over time. it's fleeting & simple, i wouldnt buy it at full price but it's grown on me. has a vintage feeling and is nice after showers during the hottest days of summer

I've had this for over a year now and at first it has that overbearing oh this smells like *honey* scent (which I like) but as it macerates it almost smells like Aquolinas Pink Sugar. Weird...

This is so simple, think a Dove bar soap with a touch of honey but I love it so much. It just smells so fresh and clean that it’s become my staple for the gym/errands. Highly recommend!
