Wow...Where do i start?. I heard about this fragrance on Tiktok and through a friend who uses Arabian perfumes a lot. I asked him which one to get and he told me to get this. I started searching about it and I found one shop which sold this in my country. I got this a while back but this perfume was so majestic that it persuaded me to write my first ever review here on Fragantica. I got a 200ml bottle for about 280Qr which is roughly $77 for those living in the States. My first impressions: The bottle is really nice and the packaging is amazing. It looks so Royal and gives me the vibe of some King owning this bottle in the 19th century. The atomizer is really huge and I'm pretty sure that it resembles a body mist. The smell is definitely not what I expected. According to this website, it says it has leather as well as oud. I did NOT smell any of that yet, although I did get some smell of oud mixed with the musk and pink pepper. To me, it smelt quite feminine in the opening but as time passes, it sure gets masculine. To western noses, I'm not sure if they would like it but I am in love with it. The DNA is pretty common here in the Middle East and almost every perfume here has Oud. The projection in the start is not that much and it probably can be smelled from 2-3 feet but as time passes and it macerates, the projection increases a lot more. The longevity is insane I was hesitant to buy this because I thought that this perfume definitely could not surpass my other fragrances(Purple Oud-Christian Dior, Jpg LMLP, Kayali Elixir II) in terms of strength but fortunately for me, it does!. So if you're looking for a strong yet sweet fragrance with a mix of a masculine vibe and Arabian royalty, this is the one. It's better you don't import this if you're living outside the Middle East because then you would have to pay $200-$290 for something that costs lesser than the half but rather get it from a friend or someone who is reselling it. (Make sure it's the original which has their Instagram handle below the bottle as well as "Made in Kuwait") I'd say the only drawback is that your nose starts to itch if you spray too much and 4+ sprays= HEADACHE and it's pretty impossible to spray lesser of it because of it's humungous atomizer. Beautiful, unique, long-lasting scent. I've been curious about this fragrance (and the brand in general) for a while, as it's been getting a lot of hype in the Middle East lately and lots of influencers have been speaking on it as well (which made me question it a little, honestly). I finally got the opportunity to smell their fragrances recently, and I asked to specifically get sampling strips of Imperial Valley (as it is their most-selling fragrance) along with another perfume. I thought it was okay at first sniff, and I kept the strip with me all night to smell every now and then throughout the night. I later left it on a table in my room, and I would randomly catch a whiff of it at random times for the next few days. I also noticed I would recognize the scent on other people while walking around at different places in the country. Makes sense as it is their local brand and has grown extremely popular there. I knew then that I had to go back and purchase a bottle. It's definitely a winter/spring scent, so I've been wearing it every day since I got it, as I'll miss wearing it when summer hits. I have gotten numerous compliments on this, even from those who don't usually prefer Arabic scents. I'd just do two or three sprays and they can smell it on me hours later if I just walk into a room. I don't usually wear a lot of Arabic scents either, but I can definitely handle this one and I absolutely love it on my skin.

I was immediately hooked when I smelled Imperial Valley for the first time a couple of years ago. Here in Western Europe I can easily rock this 9 months a year and it's incredible how many times people have complimented me or even asked what I was wearing, probably due to the fact that it's (still) a relatively uncommon smell here and no doubt because it smells of very very high quality in the air. Performance off the charts as well. I recently bought a second bottle (125 Euros for 200ml) and it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if I am still wearing this in 5 years time! The only scent that I'm aware of in this fresh, aromatic and slightly sweet leathery oud category that comes close to IV in terms of quality of the blend, performance, compliment factor and overall excellence is Laathani by Ahmed Al Maghribi. There are some decent clones out there, but in the end IV absolutely destroys most of them when you compare them side by side!

im not sure what notes combine to create this pseudo apple note (bergamot is definitely one of them), or if anyone else gets this, but its very enjoyable and reminds me of the brandy-apple note in overture woman by amouage. The fact this is one of if not the most popular perfume in the whole middle east just shows they have good taste 😂 ive dismissed alot of middle eastern brands because of the constant hype from mostly bought-out obnoxious tiktokers, and the fact that unfortunately despite the creativity and unique style of middle eastern perfumery, they're mostly known for making clones of western dna's, but from now on im definitely keeping my eye on them more. not only that but its a common theme that they generally smell on par with the very expensive western niche brands but for fractions of the price, this isn't just exclusive to their clone houses. I just got this recently and I can’t believe how strong this is! This is even more nuclear than the likes of red tobacco and arabians tonka! The davana note is heavenly in this, I haven’t smelled anything like it. Contrary to what people say, I don’t really find this challenging to wear. The oud and leather are mild. My girlfriend absolutely despises these notes (oud maracuja makes her gag), but she really loves this on me! It doesn’t bother her at all. I live in europe and this is completely unknown in my country so it’s rather unique here. GO EASY ON THE SPRAYS!!! With red tobacco I can get away with 5 sprays, NOT THIS! This is a 1-2 spray fragrance. Any more and everyone including you will get a headache! This easily fills up a room with just 1 spray. On my skin it just projects like crazy all day and leaves a huge scent trail. It lasts 24 hours on my skin easily surviving a shower in between.

Okay now I honestly don’t get how this is rated a 3.76 on here! My opinion is that it’s a beast mode fresh and woody fragrance with hints of oud. For people trying to get into oud fragrances but can’t stand the strength of them, this is your best starting point! Now the performance is immaculate - lasts for ages and projects insanely. I was getting continuous compliments from people whilst wearing this. My standpoint would be that the hype is real. The quick scan of comments was that people are getting headaches from this and I get it this is strong. I wouldn’t feel like this as much because my smell senses are weaker than others. The atomiser is a bazooka so spray with caution - 1 spray is literally equivalent to four sprays and having the spread over across your body and neck can result in over spraying and giving headaches. I’d say it’s quite a niche fragrance as well

I’ve had this for a few days now and decided to wear it as my scent of the day. Man... this stuff is good. I know it’s been hyped to the moon and back, but I’m really enjoying it. It opens with a little citrus sparkle before moving into an aromatic leathery oud combo. The leather is soft, supple, and very present without ever going overboard. The oud here is perfect for a Western-style fragrance—no barnyard, no fecal edge—just a clean woody backbone that gives the whole scent depth and power. Performance is excellent: about three and a half hours of strong projection before it pulls in a little closer, but it still carries. On my skin it pushes for a solid ten hours. What really surprised me is how fresh this feels for something so rich. It has weight and elegance but somehow stays versatile enough that I could see it working year-round.

If you live in the Middle East like I do in Dubai. There is nothing special about it . Smells generic albeit pleasant. That is if your nose has been acclimated to Oriental middle east fragrances in the past. Its not your typical western fragrance. However it can be pulled off. It is unoffensive and would be unique. I blind bought it and when i first sprayed it on a tester and skin (around 3 sprays). I thought it was weak to moderate. However the uncanny thing about Imperial valley is that the longer it was on my skin it seemed to get stronger. I have been getting sniffs of it since the last 10 hours. So the performance is pretty good. The atomizer is pretty huge like the ones you get for room fresheners or body mist. So it does dispense a huge amount of Juice per spray

-Royalty in a bottle- This is my first time writing a review for a fragrance but it’s well deserved. The single greatest Arab fragrance on the market right now, very deep and complex with a gentle balance of spice, leather, musk and freshness that will make you feel like a modern day emperor. Lasted about a day and a half on my clothes indoors with AC so I would say this is going preform better in the winter and fall.The silage is out of this world, it will fill up a room and project enormously for about 3-4 hours then it starts fading a bit but it doesn’t turn into a skin scent until maybe 24 hours after spraying. Maybe one day it will get mainstream attention from the American and British influencers but until then this will be our hidden masterpiece.

While im not a fragrance fanatic, much lest a middle east fragrance fanatic. But i do know I have a particular scent profile that I like (nothing girly nothing powdery nothing flowery) unfortunately I did know there was any "hype" about imperial valley i luckily got it in a fragrance sample bundle on whatnot and MY GOD it is incredible. Its definitely the leather im attracted too and sticks out to me the most. Its the smell of luxury. Definitely projects and lasts long which i great for the price. I understand and agree its not for everyone you definitely have to have a certain nose for this. And its definitely my scent. I've been drowning myself in it all winter (northeastern U.S.) and am excited to see how it preforms on warmer days.

Imperial Valley is a very good fragrance. It manages to use notes like sweet davana, leather and even oud in a fresh way, which is not something I have ever experienced before. It is very versatile and unique at the same time. People from the middle east will tell you this is super played out and I am sure it is in Dubai. However, I have never smelled this DNA here in Europe. The performance is very solid as well. It lasts for around 9-10h on skin and the initial projection is enormous. The sillage remains strong throughout but the projection drops off after 2h. As has been mentioned before the projection is mostly so good initially because the atomizer is basically a shower head that just drenches you with a full spray.

I can understand the few that dislike this because you do have to appreciate oud and leather mixed together and then made into a versatile fresh scent. Personally though, I'm writing this review five minutes after smelling it an it's incredible. It's definitely very strong and the oud is noticeable but if you love oud this is a perfect versatile oud fragrance. I have yet to test the longevity and everything else on it but so far it is smelling incredible. I'm slightly disappointed that i didn't also get La Luna but for now i'm loving Imperial Valley.

Very nice and IMO airy type of woody leathery scent. Opens quite fresh and citrussy. Suitable for year around skipping summer days and sticking to just summer nights. Bottle is 200ml and atomizer on this sprays literally like hose so you can bath in it. I really enjoy it. I think it is best in mid FALL. Rosemary is soft and has the middle eastern musk signature in it. For its price is really good. I am not sure if it has any oud in it. I don't detect even an oud accord. Off of my skin, it's not even much leathery.

I respectfully disagree with my friend below: here on the US East Coast (rural area), it is a wonderful and effective winter scent. It cuts through the icy temperatures, it is aromatic, and you smell like nobody else! I must also mention that I strongly dislike oud scents-- here it is very tamed. For example, I do smell the rosemary much more intensely. It is a lovely scent. That said, from Gissah I can also recommend: Mavro (same as below); Luna; Calabria; and Capri (amazing summer scent with a kick!)

Gorgeous fresh oud fragrance. Smells super fresh on opening, a few hours later the oud stays much more. Very smooth oud so very pleasant. Can be used in any situation, lasts forever and has strong sillage. Atomiser sprays a ridiculous amount of perfume haha, need to be careful as its already strong and you don't need to spray too much. Great value for money if you can get it in the Middle East, as it's quite cheap there.

A fresh take on oud and leather, unmistakably middle eastern with a definite exotic vibe (compared to western frags). The performance is out of this world. If you can get it for ~$150 for the 200 ml then its a good fragrance (all fragrances are expensive these days). The added freshness adds versatility to it but the crazy performance means be careful with the sprayer.

Clearly the people who don’t like this perfume are into typical sweet smelling, western style perfume. This is a beautiful, addictive explosion of a scent. It is bright, airy, sweet, floral, woody and sexy ALL AT THE SAME TIME. Clearly it is not a blind buy seeing how some people describe it so negatively. I will ALWAYS have this in my collection.

Wow! I love this. It’s kind of both exactly what I was picturing it would smell like, and totally surprising. Like a leather skittles sprite flavor near a shop burning oud. It’s very unique for Americans and the pallet here. It is definitely signature worthy. Can see why this is so popular over seas. So happy I picked this up :)
