La Luna

Love this stuff. I've tried Imperial Valley and Hudson Valley, didn't like either. This fragrances has two parts. First is a sweet fruitiness, like a raspberry candy, on it's own you'd say that part was feminine leaning. But underneath it is an almost earthy smokiness that makes it more masculine. The gender rating on here feels accurate, unisex leaning slightly masculine. The seasonal rating I don't agree with. This could be a signature scent year round there's nothing in here I think is inappropriate for hot weather even in Australia. If you generally like sweet fruitier scents but find most are too feminine, give this a go. I wouldn't blind buy it though because the smoky / earthy / woodiness is quite intense if you're used to western designer fragrances it could put you off. Side tip- If you like the unisex (maybe slightly feminine) fruitiness of this fragrance but don't like the earthy / smoky side, try Gissah Tango

La Luna by Gissah is a stunning and captivating fragrance that instantly grabs your attention in the best way. From the very first spray, it feels rich and radiant with a beautifully balanced sweetness that never feels overwhelming. The performance is excellent, with strong longevity and a pleasant, noticeable trail. I absolutely love this scent, and the atomizer is crazy; it distributes the fragrance so evenly and luxuriously that it makes every spray feel like a moment of indulgence.

Opens with an almost fresh sharpness, and quickly becomes this very crispy, woody, sweet fragrance. As it develops it maintains the woods with this deep and rich sweetness and a smoky aroma. It is powerful, but rather than attacking those around you, it hugs them, similar to a campfire. If you enjoy replica’s by the fireplace, this carries the same vibe but in my opinion is much more refined. Projects like a BEAST, longevity of a BEAST, COMPLIMENT BEAST!!! Do not blind buy any fragrance ever, please smell this before you make the decision, but I would gatekeep this from friends, this is a signature scent.

La Luna is an alluring Smokey incense and raspberry scent, for me I find the peach note quite subtle or might be blended too well for me to notice. It’s quite evident that the fragrance is more suitable for winter/autumn periods and a very different scent which I appreciate. My comfort zone has always been fresh/woody fragrances but this is more darker and slightly sweet. So far I’ve had a great experience with Gissah perfumes and continue my journey to try them all and possibly come back with a final ranking review!

I’ve been using La Luna for a short time now, and I’m honestly impressed. It has this soft, elegant Arabic vibe that feels warm and slightly sweet, without being too heavy. What surprised me the most is that it actually has really good longevity and performance, even though the scent feels smooth and refined. It’s the kind of fragrance that stays noticeable in a classy way and works for almost any occasion. I didn’t expect to like it this much, but it’s quickly becoming one of my favorites.
