La Luna

Love this stuff. I've tried Imperial Valley and Hudson Valley, didn't like either. This fragrances has two parts. First is a sweet fruitiness, like a raspberry candy, on it's own you'd say that part was feminine leaning. But underneath it is an almost earthy smokiness that makes it more masculine. The gender rating on here feels accurate, unisex leaning slightly masculine. The seasonal rating I don't agree with. This could be a signature scent year round there's nothing in here I think is inappropriate for hot weather even in Australia. If you generally like sweet fruitier scents but find most are too feminine, give this a go. I wouldn't blind buy it though because the smoky / earthy / woodiness is quite intense if you're used to western designer fragrances it could put you off. Side tip- If you like the unisex (maybe slightly feminine) fruitiness of this fragrance but don't like the earthy / smoky side, try Gissah Tango

La Luna by Gissah is a stunning and captivating fragrance that instantly grabs your attention in the best way. From the very first spray, it feels rich and radiant with a beautifully balanced sweetness that never feels overwhelming. The blend evolves smoothly on the skin, revealing warm, cozy layers that are both comforting and elegant; perfect for evenings or special occasions. The performance is excellent, with strong longevity and a pleasant, noticeable trail. I absolutely love this scent, and the atomizer is crazy; it distributes the fragrance so evenly and luxuriously that it makes every spray feel like a moment of indulgence.

Opens with an almost fresh sharpness, and quickly becomes this very crispy, woody, sweet fragrance. As it develops it maintains the woods with this deep and rich sweetness and a smoky aroma. It is powerful, but rather than attacking those around you, it hugs them, similar to a campfire. If you enjoy replica’s by the fireplace, this carries the same vibe but in my opinion is much more refined. Projects like a BEAST, longevity of a BEAST, COMPLIMENT BEAST!!! Do not blind buy any fragrance ever, please smell this before you make the decision, but I would gatekeep this from friends, this is a signature scent.

La Luna is an alluring Smokey incense and raspberry scent, for me I find the peach note quite subtle or might be blended too well for me to notice. It’s quite evident that the fragrance is more suitable for winter/autumn periods and a very different scent which I appreciate. My comfort zone has always been fresh/woody fragrances but this is more darker and slightly sweet. So far I’ve had a great experience with Gissah perfumes and continue my journey to try them all and possibly come back with a final ranking review!

I’ve been using La Luna for a short time now, and I’m honestly impressed. It has this soft, elegant Arabic vibe that feels warm and slightly sweet, without being too heavy. What surprised me the most is that it actually has really good longevity and performance, even though the scent feels smooth and refined. It’s the kind of fragrance that stays noticeable in a classy way and works for almost any occasion. I didn’t expect to like it this much, but it’s quickly becoming one of my favorites.

This was my first fragrance from the Gissah brand, and I must say, I’m impressed. The performance is absolutely nuclear, with outstanding longevity and projection that easily justify the price. Beyond the performance, the scent itself is very pleasant and well-crafted, making it enjoyable to wear throughout the day. Considering both the quality and performance, it offers excellent value for money. A great introduction to the brand and definitely a fragrance I would recommend.

Up there as one of the best niche oriental scents out there. Definitely the best out of the Gissah line. Smells rich.. like Middle Eastern Royalty (In the good ways at least). The cotton candy and raspberry are surprisingly noticeable but blend so well with the amber and woody notes. A very soothing sweet scent that makes it comforting in the cold. But be warned: Very strong scent. Projects far and last pretty long which is fine because the scent isn’t overwhelming.

I was a little worried about this when I got it but it was a pleasant surprise. It starts of really sweet and smokey like incense. The incense balances the sweetness for the most part. The amberwood, Tonka, and Patchouli are all easy to find. Overall I enjoy this fragrance a great deal. I give it a 7.9 out of 10. I think ff the sweetness would be dialed back just a bit that would boost this to and 8+ for me. If you have the chance sample it on skin.

Bought a decant of this. Boy, it is nuclear. There is a strong coffee-like smoky vibe going on in the opening and the middle. The amberwood note mellows in the background, the cotton candy gives burnt sugar vibes, reminiscent of BR 540. Very unique, hard to find a specific occasions to wear this in my personal life, but I love the scent. Worth trying if you're into unique, sweet fragrances

This blow Imperial Valley out of the water. I have both, both are good, living in the middle east I am able to get both for a very good price. When I wear this I cannot stop smelling myself. Spicy, sweet, addictive. Loud, long lasting, crowd pleaser. I think this profile is more unique in the US. This is absolutely blind buy safe. 10/10 would recommend.

100% the best gissah fragrance. i have the tiny one it smells super sweet, i love it alot you get some berry notes in the opening and it sets into a masculine scent, the stats are abnormal. for it to be a amazing smelling perfume with really good longevity and projection.. worth the hype 10/10

This is my MOST long lasting perfume with high Silage, it’s very sweet & gourmand. Very wintery, warm and cozy. I had the bug bottle that lasted me like a year of constant use too. The smell remains on my sweater for days! It’s good for pairing with other perfumes as well.

Best of the entire Gissah line, the rest are too mass appealing and honestly very boring. If you like a By The Fireplace but done better with an Oud note then this is it, Although I have to say that atomizer does spray a whole lot in one go. Overall 8.5/10

Beautiful scent. It's sweet and incense. Its not the sickly sweet kind either but a very balanced one which makes the dark incense pop. Beautiful fragrances can be worn at all time but I can see the charm of wearing this in the colder times.

This is not love at first sniff but now im in love with this perfume. It’s super strong performance, woody sweet idk i really love it but honestly dry down kinda reminds me of khamrah but i still love it beautiful scent

Deep, rich, and a slightly gourmand perfume I love, jsut not as beat mode as all these influencers hype it up to be.

Deep and rich perfume but not for everyone

The opening is a bit synthetic but after a few seconds it develops into an elegant musculine fragrance that is reminiscent of boss bottled absolu. It's a bit more fruity and sweet compared to boss bottled absolu and hence more versatile. It's a beautiful scent with mediocre projection. It's more of an intimate scent, which on one hand makes it more wearable, but on the other, less of a head turner. Since both cost the same , I'd suggest going with boss.

I was gifted a sample of this by a lovely lady on Facebook and I wasn’t sure what to expect with this one. The notes seemed a little overwhelming to me but I was wrong. This is a dark winter fragrance but the fruit and candy floss notes sweeting it up to be an entirely unisex fragrance. The longevity is excellent and I could smell this on myself several hours after spraying. I can’t wait to try others from this line.

This opens super nice and sweet. It’s really strong though so don’t smell it up close or you’ll choke (like I did). After a few minutes, oud shows up and steals the show. The oud is super strong and noticeable, with some smokiness, sweetness, and just a tiny bit of raspberry. If you don’t like oud, skip this one.

Candy-Sweet Woods. A bit sharp and harsh. Didn't enjoy it much. Winter, unisex scent. "Like".

I saw this recommended on Facebook and then for $20 on eBay and saw other sites selling it for $100+ so I quickly bought the last bottle. This is a strange one. I do kind of get a BR 540 vibe, but it’s more earthy and masculine leaning. I think unless this changes more, I’ve had it a month, I’ll have to layer it. It’s not sweet enough. I wish more of the raspberry and cotton candy came through. I don’t get a lot of spiciness either, some smokiness, but not a lot either luckily. Kind of boring and disappointing. I wish there was more sweet and spice. Hopefully, maturing helps. Not blind buy safe. Will give it more time and if that fails, try layering with raspberry, cotton candy or spicy scents.

Just got my la Luna in the post. Hmmm. I am forced to ask if anyone else gets strong overtones of Initio's Oud For Greatness? It's been on my skin for an hour now and it still smells 90% similar. Please tell me that this overture will dissipate while my bottle matures in my dark frag cupboard...? As you can probably tell, I am one of the few people that do not like O4G, hence my concern.

I really dislike it to the point where I washed it off my hands with soap. It’s rly stuck to my hand though. Ofc we all have different tastes so all I’m saying is don’t blind buy this

Smells very similar to Majd Al Sultan by Asdaaf in the opening, very wood-y and incense-y. Unlike Majd al Sultan, when it starts to dry down a little, the sweetness comes through nicely, so although there is hints of woods, incense and spices all throughout, it's not nearly as strong after a few minutes (in case you're taken aback by the opening). Can't say anything about the longevity yet, as I've only worn it for 4 or 5 minutes as of this writing. From what I can smell right now, I quite like it, I was kind of disappointed just after spraying because it was quite similar to Majd Al Sultan as mentioned earlier, but now it's developing quite nicely. I can smell the cotton candy and raspberry-apricot pretty well too. I'd say that the fruitiness here is somewhat artificial and candy-esque though, it doesn't smell like fresh fruit at all (not that there's anything wrong with that, but just be ware of that if you buy this expecting to smell juicy fresh fruits). The only "problem" I can think of with this perfume so far, is that where I'm at (South Africa), even in the colder season, it can be quite intense, even at night. So I'd definitely recommend going easy on the sprays with this one.

It's not at all like khamrah. Yes it has a strong cinnamon vibe but it's a sharp spicey cinnamon not sweet. It's very unique. Leans masculine. Has a strong leather and inscense notes. Projects powerfully. It's a beautiful scent but not my fave as I prefer a more feminine energy. Please add all the gissah scents to the website. One and only and Viola are my ultimate favourites. There's no single perfume house that can compare to gissah in terms of longevity. They are the strongest on the scene. Not for the faint hearted. Gissah will get you attention everywhere you go..

For my tastes, this is a Fantastic smelling fragrance. It’s extremely likeable. It smells very similar to Penhaligon’s Halfeti and Nishane Papilefiko. This is ambery, sweet and woody. For the second or third time in 11 years I had a total stranger come up to me and ask me what it was wearing and made sure to get the name and where to buy it. At the store I sprayed it once on the back of my hand and even the owner asked me what I was wearing. Atomizer and performance are incredible! Check it out.

First of all: nothing like it on the market. 2nd, truly one of the strongest bottles of fragrance I own. Only got a 50ml because genuinely 2 sprays is all you need and I’m a notorious oversprayer. Beautiful sweet oud, the cotton candy makes it soft but also loud. The color of the bottle represents the scent profile well. It almost smells like a caramelised coconut jam (I know very odd). Excellent addition to the collection. Sillage is also absurdly powerful. Signature/special occasion worthy.

I have the clone Hafla Night, didn't love it or hate it. It was just okay, watched a review on La Luna & I listened to a guy break it down & I fell in love with it. I fell so hard, I ordered a 50zml of La Luna from Kuwait ($100) It will deliver next week. I can't wait, it may be my winter signature scent. I HOPE it's DENSE DENSE DENSE lol 😆 Update: It is not skanky & it is not as dense as I've read. I enjoy it, but it is not BEASTMODE like I'm reading smh. It's still ok tho 🤷

Boy this stuff is nuclear.. My skin chemistry has never been amazing for fragrance performance but La Luna tells a different story. I spray it once on my shirt and can smell it a day or two later on my SKIN, or lingering in my rooms air. Its starts off very smokey for me but as it dries down the cotton candy and raspberry become most prominent. A beautiful fragrance you can wear for evenings out, date nights, or attention. Bellissimo.

Secrets out guys, I'm the whistle blower. If you know what Neebs Aromatix Cardinal Desire smells then you're 80% on your way to knowing this scent, difference is premium quality, higher blend, sweeter leather, and a touch of whatever they used in ignite Oud, the best part. Addictive and an attractive scent. Rich, elegant, style and sexy. Not for teens.

This scent is perfect. I was recommended this by a friend from Kuwait and gifted a 50ml bottle. I think the scent is wax and incense, like a candle that has just been blown out mixed with raspberries and smoke. Wear this in late winter and into spring. Around liturgical months. Post Christmas and into lent.

i love this perfume🥹 at first you get incense and subtle raspberries. it then settles into a lightly sweet, woody, amber scent. i’m also getting some boozy notes even though they aint mentioned! it’s perfect for cold autum and winter nights. it’s dark, sexy and cosy🪵🍂💄

This is an under rated perfume in my opinion. very rich and elegant oriental perfume, that can be perfectly used in all seasons besides the price, it has an excellent versatile performance, non irritating, and very classy character. Overall: 9/10

Abso freaking delicious is the perfect word to describe La Luna. Candied raspberry meshed with creamy, sweet, slightly spicy Oud. My absolute favorite from the house. Followed closely by Imperial Valley.

Ok, now I really want to try this because I adore By the Fireplace and I've layered it with TF's Oud Wood so...I'm wondering if this frag would be simillar to that.

incense note is pretty strong (i love that!). but if you dont, probably not one that youd like. its my signature winter fragrance

Le Luna smells NOTHING like nor Close to Carnal Desire by Aromatix. I have both fragrances.

Tuscan Leather without the leather mixed with Kim Kardashian Gold. Lasts a whole day

I have Al Rehab Vip Blend Amber and it smells identical and cheaper.

Very oudy...very arabic beautiful fragrance!
