Dahlia Divin Eau Initiale

So late to this beautiful party! Gorgeous elegant fragrance that smells like the bottle looks--pure, pristine, white yet there is a warmth to it, a soft approach. Perfect spring scent after a relaxing bath or anytime you want that your natural smell but better aura. I agree with it being a perfect bridal scent, too because it has moderate strength and just smells pretty. Signature scent worthy for sure!

A soft daytime perfume. It's soft, easy to reach without thinking, and easy to carry. It has a slight sweetness and lasts for about 3 hours. Imagine a woman in a white dress returning from shopping walking on the beach. that's it ... There are not too many flowers and there is a light sweetness of lotus and sandalwood.

This fragrance is very skin dependent when it comes to Lasting strength. On me it lasts 4-6 hours no problem so perfect as a day time perfume. Smells absolutely stunning, powdery and feminine. Not mentioning that the bottle is absolutely gorgeous

A favourite of mine and I'm sad it's discontinued. But the drydown of Angel Nova EDT smells nearly identical so that's a solid option if anyone is looking for a substitute.

Musk, lotus, jasmin, sandalwood are most prominent and wonderful smelling..feminine..relaxing...🌷🌺🌙🌌☕the blend is realy a feminine easy wear

This is a very pretty magnolia perfume. I like this so much better than the Dior Jadore range, Beautiful Magnolia by Estee Lauder and Vanitas by Versace. I have wanted a Magnolia perfume for my collection but nothing that I had smelled was right, even from one of my favorites all-natural brand Gather. They released a magnolia fragrance called Georgia morning. I thought it was too peachy and didn't have enough magnolia. It also made my husband sneeze like crazy. I love the smell of magnolias in nature but in perfume they can give me a headache. This has a pretty blood orange and bergamot combination in the beginning of the fragrance that is very impressive. I think the blood orange keeps the bergamot from becoming to tart, which it can come off sharp at times. The blood orange tames that sharpness but keeps the crispness and freshness that many like in perfume openings. The lotus combined w/ the magnolia is a nice combination. Magnolia can be very strong, and lotus gives this one a watery quality that I like w/out becoming overly aquatic. Clean musky feel in the dry down. This is a lovely summer floral, perfect for hot weather. Why would Givenchy discontinue this line? I really like it a lot. Glad I picked these up now, they are great easy reaches when you don't know what mood you are in or what you want to wear. Soft, easy, friendly, and youthful is how I would describe this line.

Le Nectar is my current signature. I haven’t tried the OG. The notes in that don’t seem like my taste. I wish got more Jasmine / florals in this ... This is very similar to Le Nectar though. I would possibly choose this as my signature daytime, since I’m not into very sweet perfumes & Nectar is a bit sweet, but love that one for its other notes, powdery, makeup counter vibes, vanilla, tonka ... more interesting imo & works better for day to night. This is pretty simple. I’m not getting much floral right now, mostly musk & sandalwood. It could grow on me. The citrus opening is refreshing. Reminds me a bit of Chance Eau Tendre, which I own but don’t wear often because fruity isn’t really my vibe. I like something a little more womanly & mature lately. This isn’t too fruity. I’m glad. This is light & nice. I got a big bottle of it cheap, so I think it’s perfect to layer with Le Nectar for evenings. Overall, I guess it’s definitely in my top fave perfumes I own now, but wish it had a little something more ... It also reminds me of Chanel 1932 a bit, which is an all time fave, but I can only afford minis of that. This doesn’t wow me at first. But it’s the simplicity I need sometimes. It was a safe, good blind but for me since I love these notes & love Givenchy. I’ll prob wear it daily currently actually.

Definitely pretty, feminine, floral with a juicy warm undertone..I like all the Dahlia versions, Initiale is lovely, fresh , almost creamy...it would be the perfect office scent, easy to wear, not heady, it spells elegance and prettiness...now, I wish longevity had been better, it disappears pretty fast, and becomes a skin scent, a nice one....I detect a bit of the blood orange, it gives the scent a little fresh twist, or else we would have had kind of a predictable musky floral..I don't find it better than Necttar, or Nude...it is different yet stays in the same vein...I see it more as a fall scent..I got it a a very good price, so no complaints here .

Pretty scent with a common DNA of the original Dahlia Divin. Not very original but well composed and very balanced. Initially, I did a side-by-side comparison with the original DD edp at Macy’s and liked this one way more (lotus flower and blood orange give it a very fresh and serene twist). But later on, after getting a travel size bottle I got disappointed, because the sillage and staying power are super weak! Rating: Scent: 7 out 10 Sillage: 3 out of 10 Staying power: 3 out of 10

This is a very good perfume, just like others in that line. I'm glad they stayed true to it's nature. Reminds me of other fragrances from this line, but is a bit different. The mix of lotus, jasmine and magnolia is a good one. The notes described here don't seem sweet, but actually it is a nicely sweet scent. Warm, skin scent, I like it!

The bottle is white, niceeee :) I didn‘t expect since it was a blind buy. I like the others from this range so I couldnt make a big mistake. The perfume itself is very elegant, kinda citrus-floral with a fresh-woody undertone. I like it! Great value for money, you can‘t go wrong. Very pleasant :)

Sensual, soapy and a bit sweet. Great for hot days. It is feminine, elegant and smells expensive, but i still prefer the original Dahlia Divin. It is happier and louder, more to my taste. But like i said, this isn’t bad. If you like classy and soft fresh perfumes, give it a try.

This is so pretty! I've also tried the original Dahlia Divin and Dahlia Divin Nude and I like Eau Initiale the best. I love the sweet and juicy blood orange opening. It's fresh and light with magnolia, lotus, and jasmine. The dry down is a very clean musk. A new favorite!

This perfume gives me bridal vibes. Smells expensive, elegant and high-end. Great lasting power. She is wearing this perfume dressed her very best to a warm, daytime formal event.

I have not smelled the original Dahlia Divin (I want to), so I cannot make any comparisons of this flanker to the pillar Fragrance. However, to me this smells very similar to a light and slightly fruitier version of La Vie Est Belle. LVB, while very pretty, can sometimes be too much (too heavy), and I think that this offers a slightly lighter alternative. Because of that, I think that this could be worn any time of year, with the exception of high heat or humidity- I could see it becoming cloying. Because this one is rather similar to LVB I think it would also be very mass appealing and liked by many.

This perfume won't last long but it does smell high-end and feminine after I just sprayed it on my wrist. The scent is clean and casual enough to wear at the office. I don't think it's very special and worth the price but it's definitely a safe blind-buy or gift!

There was a singular note in this that made me not like it. I have no idea what that one note could be. It is very annoying. Luckily my mother loved this one so I'll be handing this vial off to her. Definitely check out Dahlia Divin though. That ones lovely.

I tried it at the store, it had this deep muskl smell, the vibe of narciso rodriguez, but now I bought it, and it's weak and synthetic smelling, like baby powder, not the same. Don't know what happened.

Can anybody tell me, I'm hoping this is magnolia- forward, but not too strongly! (as in Versace Vanitas) - though just right & not overly strong, in Kate Spade "Live Colourfully " (which should be all-white packaging, like this) & is the lotus in this mild? (bc lotus-flower is not my favorite to be honest.) Please could somebody also advise does this have even a little patchouli? (I don't mind it, ish - in Givenchy Live Irresistible Rosy Crush; which I wear layered with a gorgeous rhubarb parfum & love) but I find patchouli v difficult bc my skin doesn't like it & my nose neither! Many Thanks in advance to fellow Fragranticans, I trust your taste!🙏🙏 (Somebody said the drydown is similar to Angel Nova EDT which I couldn't wear, for example, patchouli amps on me)

this was my recent blind buy. it smells fresh but at the same time sweet, creamy and soft, just a little citrusy, which i really like. i would describe it as a boujee spa lotion scent. the staying power is not amazing, im used to edp-s and sadly this just doesnt compare. the scent is likeable, great fro warm weather, feminine, uncomplicated. i dont think this is a must-have to be honest, aside from the bottle which is gorgeous to me.

Okay The first spray is very nice .. after drying down I do not feel any uniqeness at all .. I am a big fan of DhaliaDivin NEctar de parfum I live its sillage,lasting and the way it changes the notes .. Comparing with intiale .. I think its a huge loss to release it now.. Okay I appriciate the scent But after le nectar I got my expectations high in the sky .. Over all rate 6.5/10

I just got a sample of this at a local department store. This is bitter citrus at its best. The blood orange and the bergamot blend beautifully together for a long-lasting tangy scent without a hint of sweetness. The magnolia note gives it grounding. Dignified and elegant. I can see this one on a savvy business woman in a black suit closing the deal. Beautiful silage trail too.

It smells almost like caramel to me. Somehow, if I hadn’t known the notes, I’d consider that it falls into the gourmand scents category with some woody notes rather than white floral. Extremely lightweight and almost unnoticeable on the skin, it creates this light veil of powdery sweet scent that blends well with body chemistry. Light musky undertones.

I think the princess Meghan just gave the designer brand a major bump... something I like to call the pm sparkle.. I hope this parfum reflect that.. can't wait to smell this..

I can't wait to try this, I just hope the blood orange is prominent on my skin. I love the simple and elegant bottles.
