Gentleman Eau de Parfum Reserve Privée

This is the one. Over the last several months I've spent several trips to the mall or any store with fragrances slowly working my way not only through the all of the major/newest/popular Givenchy releases, but through all the things DHI adjacent. After recently testing Boisee and Gentleman EDP and being a bit disappointed in the iris not coming off more (both are still fantastic fragrances), I finally found what I want to be my signature formal scent. Keep in mind that across my 80+ bottle collection, I have yet to really designate a fragrance as a signature anything for any context until I tried this. The line's name really encapsulates the DNA's vibe more so than any other designer line name I can think of. This is truly a gentleman's scent: dark, yet clean, spicy, yet gentle, boozy, yet refined. What's hilarious is that it also smells exactly how the bottle looks. I'm mid 20s and tend to gravitate towards more youthful and unisex stuff rather than the hypermasculine mature scents, especially as someone in a warmer climate, but this is a rare example of a thoroughly manly scent that I wanted a bottle of almost immediately. Every note feels gorgeous, its extremely well blended, but if you want to sit there and try to find the notes, you can. They all play together so nicely to form an aroma that can be described as nothing if not high quality. There's not too many notes or a crazy amount of things going on with this fragrance, but it still has an incredible amount of depth and richness. The whiskey and chestnut feel like the heart and soul of the fragrance, giving it a lovely subtle booziness and nuttiness that makes this fragrance stand apart from the rest of the line, as well as the similar Dior releases or Valentino Uomo. Performance is no slouch either, it has incredible longevity, 8 hours later and I still have a very present, borderline skin scent that could easily be picked up on by good noses. (post workout btw). The projection feels like the perfect strength too, if somebody is within your personal space, the magnetic amber is gonna grab their attention before iris and the rest of the gang hits that person with a signature air of distinction. This has a wonderful sillage, rich enough to feel enigmatic, but when paired with the respectful projection, you never feel as if you're wearing a fragrance that demands attention. Absolute gem for date nights and formal occasions, shit I would wear this to the club in an overdressed fit just to stand out in a more unique way than an Eros or Sauvage overspray. The best part is that you can find this at absolutely fantastic prices at discounters, much better prices than you would pay for another house's fragrance that's similar to this. This is so nice I think I would be willing to pay the $120 retail I believe this is. 10/10 would recommend, wouldn't say to blind buy because this iris-heavy type DNA isn't for everybody. I'm personally a slut for iris. Gatekeep this tbh, easily my fav from the Gentleman line. Elegance in a bottle.

When it comes to Givenchy scents, this is the one I've heard most about. Everyone seems to love this one, so I figured I'd give it a shot for myself. Here's how it went; Scent: Opening is powdery, woody, and boozy. I immediately get a strong blast of iris, followed by the unmistakeable aroma of whiskey and woods. These two notes meld together to form a very photo-realistic profile of top shelf whiskey poured into a glass. In the dry down the whiskey note is gone, but the chestnut has announced itself with a nutty, chocolatey vibe. The amber has appeared as well with a sweet and warm feeling. The strongest note is still the powdery iris. When talking about the big iris scents (Dior Homme Parfum, Valentino Uomo Intense, Prada L'homme Intense) it's easy to mention this one as well. It shares core similarities with those fragrances, but the strong whiskey note in the opening and the chocolate note in the dry down sets this one apart. Performance: Initial projection is nuclear and fills the room when I first spray it on. Sillage is powerful as well, leaving a scent trail that's impossible to miss. A few hours later projection was a bit further than arms length, and there was still a easily noticeable scent trail. Altogether this lasted over 12 hours on my skin, making it certified eternal. When to wear: This is a fall/winter fragrance that can be worn day or night. This is also a great pick for the office or a date. Blind buy: If you like iris and whiskey scents, this is a safe blind buy for you. This fragrance does not disappoint in any aspect. Final verdict: This is a modern masterpiece that is fitting for any gentleman's collection. It's classy, sophisticated, and always gets positive attention. Couple that with the strong performance, and you've got a winner in my book. For the record, I own all the heavy iris fragrances listed above and I don't consider this one redundant at all. If you like iris fragrances, you owe it to yourself to add this one to your collection. It's the best out of the Givenchy Gentleman line. Scent: 10/10 Longevity: 10/10 Sillage: 10/10

Givenchy Gentleman Réserve Privée on my skin is warm, classy, and boozy right from the start. The opening has this smooth, sweet whisky vibe that honestly smells amazing, then a creamy, powdery iris shows up fast with a roasted chestnut feel. It gives me an expensive, well-crafted, mature vibe. Wearing it, I picture a speakeasy type of night with a drink in hand and a cigar in the ash tray. This is made for date nights, dinners, and nights out, and it really shines in cooler weather. Presentation The bottle looks premium in hand. Black fading into an amber whisky tone with gold lettering, and it matches the darker, dressed-up vibe perfectly. One of the fancier bottles in my collection. Notes (as listed) Top: Bergamot Heart: Iris, Chestnut Base: Whisky, Woodsy Notes, Amber Performance (on me) About 7 hours on skin and 10+ hours on clothes (hoodies especially). Projection is around 1–2 feet for the first hour, then it settles closer to arm’s length and becomes more of a personal scent bubble. Do’s / Don’ts from wearing it all week Do wear it for nights out, dinner, date night, or anything dressed-up (smart casual to suit level). It really complements an elevated look. Do keep sprays reasonable. It wears richer than it seems at first and can be a lot in close spaces. Don’t overspray in warm weather or tight indoor settings because it can get heavy. Don’t expect it to stay loud all night. It opens strong, then calms down quicker than I expected. Pros The opening is my favorite part, smooth sweet whisky with creamy powdery iris Iris keeps it refined, classy, and clean Warm, cozy, slightly gourmand, but still “put together” Cons I wish the stronger projection lasted longer before it settles down close to the skin Best seasons Fall and winter for sure, and it also works on cool spring nights. Overall If you want something warm, cozy, slightly gourmand, but still clean and classy, this is a great night fragrance. The most elegant and seductive designer fragrance on the market today I’ve always enjoyed fragrances in the same vein as Dior Homme Intense, a dense, powdery iris as the star, subtle aromatic touches, and a base of refined woods and warm, slightly sweet amber. In Dior’s case, it leans more toward a refined nighttime elegance. Givenchy Gentleman Reserve Privée takes that same DNA, which is already a masterpiece, and instead of trying to reinvent the wheel, it simply refines it and builds its own identity by adding a boozy whisky accord that gives this fragrance a lot of personality. It opens with a very light and subtle bergamot that mainly serves to balance the denser notes and add a touch of freshness. It fades rather quickly and becomes almost imperceptible, since the real focus here is the incredible combination of iris, whisky and chestnut. Right from the start, the iris comes across as very powdery, slightly earthy and velvety, reminiscent of other formal nighttime fragrances in this style. The whisky note is what changes everything, bringing the aroma of a high-quality drink: a warm, boozy woody character that feels extremely seductive. The chestnut joins in to add body, with a gentle sweetness and creaminess that wrap around the nose of anyone smelling it. The performance is very well balanced. Longevity is strong, the kind where you go to sleep and still smell it close to the skin the next morning, and it clings to clothing nicely as well. Projection sits between moderate and strong, leaving a scented aura that people nearby can easily notice, which for me is perfect. This is a fragrance made for all-black outfits, formal events, romantic dinners at a good restaurant, and moments when you want to project class and maturity without shouting for attention. In short, this fragrance is a masterpiece. If you enjoy good whisky and fragrances in the Homme Intense style, this could easily become one of your favorites. 10/10

The whisky accord is immediately apparent, yet never overwhelming. It is free of any harsh alcoholic excess. This is an aged, noble whisky, evocative of a fine solera. If anything, it feels like a whisky elixir—its very essence. Alongside the whisky, roasted chestnut emerges, and before long the woody notes reveal themselves: the scent of polished antique furniture, refined and dignified. And, of course, the iris. Beautifully balanced and seamlessly woven into the composition. Although bergamot is listed among the notes, I cannot distinguish it on its own. It is likely concealed within the whisky accord, making it impossible for me to isolate. As the opening settles, the roasted chestnut, iris, and woods gradually take center stage, while the initial whisky accord recedes into the background. This fragrance exudes elegance and poise from every angle. The kind of elegance one associates with a true gentleman. It is perfectly suited to formal attire, though I wouldn't rule it out with more casual clothing either. What I certainly wouldn't wear it for is sipping a drink on a beachside terrace at midday in August, dressed in flip-flops and Bermuda shorts. This is something entirely different. It shines in cooler, more temperate weather, and it naturally lends itself to the afternoon and evening. But in the end, you are the one who decides. A magnificent fragrance.

Gentleman EDP (one of my favorites of the line) already nails that creamy, elegant iris profile, but Réserve Privée adds something the line never quite had before: atmosphere. The opening brings a warm whisky accord that doesn’t shout “boozy,” but melts smoothly into the composition and gives the iris a darker, more textured backdrop to rest on. Within minutes, the fragrance shifts into a velvety blend of iris, soft cocoa-like woods, and a subtle amber glow that feels both intimate and refined. What sets this version apart is how the iris behaves compared to the rest of the line. As an example, in the EDP, the iris is clean, polished, almost bright. Here, it becomes deeper—less powder, more texture, more warmth. The whisky doesn’t overshadow it; it anchors it, giving the scent weight and presence without sacrificing the elegance that defines the Gentleman line. As it dries down, Réserve Privée settles into a beautifully balanced mix of warm woods and smooth amber, with the iris still gently pulsing underneath. Nothing feels sharp or synthetic. It’s the kind of fragrance you can wear in a quiet moment and still feel dressed for an occasion. If the EDP represents sophistication in daylight, Réserve Privée is the same man after hours—still composed, but more relaxed, more shaded, and far more magnetic. One of Givenchy’s most refined modern releases.

I was looking for a substitute fragrance to be able to use Nasomatto Duro - that I consider my cold weather signature scent - more sparingly in everyday use and though they are only vaguely similar, Gentleman Reserve Privée does the job perfectly. I love the in-your-face whiskey notes in the opening together with the iris and the chestnut kicking in a bit later, but it's not getting less character in the drydown either, a very powerful, masculine scent that is suitable for both casual and formal settings. The opening is strong and projects quite well, after a couple of hours a cozy feeling of warmth comes along with the chestnut and violet notes coming more to the forefront. I love wearing it on casual office days as well as going out to either more formal or casual events, on my skin it's easily a 10-12-hour scent. I've read that some had to overspray, for me it's projecting quite strong for around 7-8 hours before turning into a skin scent. Quickly became one of my favourite cold weather fragrances. I can't imagine wearing it for spring or summer, but for fall and winter it's great.

I remember exactly when I changed my opinion about this fragrance. The first time I wore it, I completely fell in love. After that day, I immediately bought a full bottle. It’s an elegant, understated scent that perfectly represents how a gentleman should smell. It doesn’t need to speak loudly to be noticed; you have to step into its space to truly appreciate how remarkable it is. It’s a fragrance with character—one that quietly gives you confidence and calm. I don’t understand why some people vote against it for spring or daytime wear. I don’t see how it could bother anyone on a warm, sunny day (as long as it’s not too hot). That said, it does perform better at night, when everything is calm and quiet. This is the kind of fragrance that benefits from silence around it, allowing it to be appreciated exactly as it was intended. The performance isn’t outstanding, especially in terms of sillage. However, I believe that was intentional—to keep it refined, intimate, and never overpowering.

This is an interesting one. It's presented as a winter scent, but during winter it's somewhat weak, low projection and average longevity. It's also a bit harsh, not really chocolate-like. BUT in the summer heat and moisture this turns into a BEAST. Sweet powdery iris, vanilla and chestnut in a classy amber blend and it's a true delight to smell. I did one single spray yesterday and I can still smell it strongly more than 24 hours later. The difference compared to in the cold months is massive, almost unbelievable. It's a dark masculine scent, really classy and reminds me of orchestra halls where you can feel the amber from the string instruments and vintage lacquer. It's not overwhelming because you need to wear very little (in the winter you put more just to be able to smell it and it gets harsh and heavy). Someone asked for a similar classy fragrance but female, I can recommend NR For Her Musc Noir Rose.

When I was searching for that special occasion fragrance, I went through so many options from niche, high-end/low-end, designers, to private lines. But this fragrance won it. I do wear it as my daily wear these days. The way that this is refined, you just smell like a Gentleman. I think this is the best in the line. I get compliments on this, but funnily enough,h from older women like 35+, which is kinda fun,y but if you want to impress an older woman (milf), this is it. I like to wear it as an early 20s guy, but I can easily imagine somebody older wearing this. Sweet, floralish, refined. This is arguably better than something like Stronger with You. It almost feels niche. Not many people know about it, resulting in not many people wearing it. Also, it punches way above its weight. I got it for like 90 euros, which is an amazing price. Longevity is ok with 6/7 hours. Definitely would recommend this. 10/10

When I first smelled this I was not impressed at all. For reference I was an Acqua Di Gio lifer that decided to get a new signature scent and went off sampling loads of fragrances. This was one that was really well reviewed and quite hyped by fragrance influencers so I ended up getting a sample, and at first I was not sure about it at all at it was summer time and it did not suit the warm weather. But this winter it came into its own and I love it. Warm, chestnut boozy powdery iris. Perfect for a night out or dates in particular. Not a clubbing fragrance as it is properly sophisticated in my opinion. It is one that grows on you over time especially the more you sample various fragrances and develop your nose a bit. It is more mature though. I'm in my 40's for example and I would not have liked this as a teenager or even up to 30 I don't think I would have enjoyed this till my stage. It is a winner for me.

The simplest way to describe this perfume is if Dior Home Intense had some warm notes added in. If you like powdery iris with woods, and you would like a warm, comforting feel with it, this is perfect. It is fantastic for cool nights in fall as well as any cold days during winter. The longevity of this fragrance is quite long, I spray it on before meeting friends and 6-7 hours later, I can still smell it, but by then it is a skin scent primarily. The projection I would say is moderate and lasts the first 4 hours before it stays closer to the skin. That is simply all I have to say; it is a warm, powdery floral, and woody fragrance that has great longevity, and you can find it for decent prices on discount perfume retailers such as Primor. Scent: 8.5/10 (just delightful for those cool days) Performance: 8/10 (great longevity, good projection for the first few hours)

Okay, so this is one of the few fragrances I absolutely adore, no matter the occasion or season. It really shines in cold weather and offices, and it’s perfect for dinners and date nights. Regarding the fragrance itself, it starts with a bit of a boozy kick, and the iris and whiskey notes are quite prominent in a good way to be honest. If you want to picture how it smells, think of a color brown with a hint of wax, and then imagine a well-dressed, sharp, mature man stepping out of a S-class or Maybach. It smells rich, boozy, mature and confident. It’s definitely not for young people or a clubbing scent, but it’s perfect for offices, date nights and sophisticated dinners. This is a true do-it-all fragrance, office, date night, catch-up with friends? No worries, this one has you covered. It’s like having a Swiss Army knife in your collection, versatile, reliable, and always ready to go. What really stands out is the Iris. I’m a sucker for a good Iris note, and this one delivers beautifully. I’ve always loved Prada L’Homme immensely, and this is right up there with it. Personally, I prefer it over Dior Homme Intense and its flankers, it doesn’t have that lipstick or makeup powderiness. Instead, it leans more boozy, nutty, and spicy, which gives it a warm, elegant edge. If you’re already a fan of Iris and know the scent profile of Dior Homme Intense or Prada L’Homme, this is a safe blind buy. Not much more to say, it’s a banger. 9/10. Well done, Givenchy.

Nose Note #1098 I absolutely loved EDP Boisee and wanted to see any similar ones from Givenchy. This is substantially different. And it's very different from Dior Homme Intense too. To my nose the whisky note is standing out a lot, and there's something complimentary to the strong iris note like cocoa or "sort of" a chestnut note (not like in Armani Stronger with You). This is pretty dark and plenty thick. The iris is not as lipsticky as in DHI and other similar fragrances. If DHI is to some almost unisex - this here is confidently masculine. Performance is very satisfying. It's not obnoxious, just strong. As many iris scents are, this smells very elegant and upclass. Price is not bad too! But I still like EDP Boisee better! 8/10

Masculine elegance in a bottle. Mature, sophisticated, classy, all the buzzwords. The whiskey note is fleeting but the chestnut, waxy iris, and strong woods carry the scent. I’m not a fan of overly lipsticky iris or make up bag type powdery scents, but this isn’t feminine whatsoever. It’s a hairy chest in a black suit sitting in a leather chair surrounded by oak barrels. All it needs is a cigar. Most recently I’ve worn this in a suit to a (obviously formal) wedding and in a casual flannel and boots to a whiskey bar. Fit both occasions perfectly. Office safe but not recommended. Performance is slightly less than expected but still good. Fall/Winter, Night killer. 8.5/10

Great scent for the colder season. The iris is there, but it is subdued compared to Dior Homme, which places the iris front and center. Givenchy knows how to leverage the iris and powdery notes, using them as something in the background that adds depth to the scent. The short opening is okay, but the hours of dry down are sublime. I prefer warm season fresh / blue scents. So, I've been forcing myself to experiment with cold season scents, trying to find something I like. Givenchy Reserve is on my short list for a bottle buy, especially given the value of it (good projection / longevity with 2 to 4 sprays at affordable price). This will be a difficult option to beat.

I’m a big Iris fan and I have to say this is the BEST Iris frag. It’s blended perfectly. Every note besides the bergamot is there till the end. I love every stage of this. But if you’re gonna pick an Irish scent I’d pick this over Dior homme and Prada L’Homme intense and I love Prada L’Homme intense. This is more wearable than Dior homme intense but still mostly for special occasion, or dressed up. I would say office safe if you spray once. I can’t undersell this, it’s by far my favorite scent of all time. Side note: Inekas Luna is super close to this just freahser and lacks the nutmeg and whiskey notes. They’re probably still there but it’s not blended as well.

A stunner of a fragrance created by two of my favorite perfumers. Fresh bergamot, smooth iris, hint of whiskey with amber and some woods🔥🔥. I remember smelling this fragrance in Dec of 2022 and I was sold on the spot and I've been rocking this fragrance in the cooler months and early spring season. If you enjoy iris then I would strongly recommend this fragrance and it has strong longevity and sillage on my skin and people around you will pickup on your scent so with this one I would say less is more. 10/10 for me and Gevinchy is a underated house that deserves more love than it gets because I haven't ran across any fragrances from the house that I didn't like.

Very nice smelling fragrance. It is quite musky , a bit sweet, a bit woody, but mostly iris sweet musky is what me and my partner (male) pick up. It is really nice smell on him, very attractive scent. Not your typical after shave man smell either, this is much nicer and different and for sure could be a sexy scent. I would say this could be unisex as I love the smell of this and honestly would wear it aswell. Nothing in this gives “masculine” to me, it’s just a very nicely done fragrance. Everything is well balanced. If you are a man that wants a different smelling scent from the typical aftershave Dior savauge smell, give this a go. 10/10.

Very interesting fragrance, not at all what I thought it was going to be. Despite being far from what I thought I love it. Its got a light boozyness and woodyness from the chestnut, the combo gives it this chocolaty scent that's absolutely beautiful, and the iris ties everything together very well. One very strange benefit of this cologne is the notes make you think it will be a potent winter scent, honestly, its fairly fresh considering the notes, you could easily get away with this in the fall and even a cooler summer night. Its surprisingly versatile, has ended up being one of my favoutites in my collection

I purchased this masterpiece back when it was released and before any hype on YouTube!! Of course every fragrance has its haters but for me this fragrance was my introduction to iris and I've been hooked every since on iris forward fragrances. I don't wear this fragrance often because I have so many but it's in my top 10 amongst my collection and this is great for dates and formal evenings and cooler weather 🌡️☁️. I do truly appreciate the perfumers for creating such a good fragrance which by the way are my top duo when it comes to fragrances so I rate this a solid 10/10.

had a 2022 batch of this, was one of the most beautiful smelling fragrances I've ever put my nose to. the juice was really dark. extremely unfortunate that it just would not project or last enough for me to wear it. one night i actually put like 20-25 sprays of this including pulse points and every strategic place you can put on a fragrance, and it did NOT project. my friend said that someone smells nice and she reached to my other friend who had like 3-5 sprays of SWY Intensely. WHAT A JOKE. still she said i smell incredible but she couldn't detect it at all.

For those in the U.K. Escentual are selling 60ml bottles of this for £39.50 delivered. I have just received mine this morning. (13 in stock at the time of writing) For something of this quality and elegance for the price of a middle eastern clone........ (That you don't have to spray 10 times with the bottle upside down, place in the fridge, bury said fridge in your back garden at a depth of 15ft for at least 6 months for it to maybe, possibly, hopefully bear a fleeting resemblance to the inspiration) You'd be crazy not to. Simply stunning fragrance ❤️

Givenchy has made some designers blush by releasing this one and Gentleman Society Eau de Parfum Ambrée. This is how you make a high quality Irish, boozy scent with a whiskey and caramelized Irish dry down. And all that at a good affordable price! The Irish you get in the beginning, it dries down to a toned down but caramelized version of itself, no bubblegum, no sickly chemical sweetness, just great level perfumery. It's a Perfect winter fragrance for date night, dressy occasion or to enjoy a book alone at a warm cosy cafe. Amazing!

YEESSS!!! I'd take this over DHI all day. Its a much less sweet version of the Gentleman Boisée EDP, and far more potent. Very similar to DHI, but with a sweet, boozy, chocolatey vibe with the dominant iris. Sort of like if you'd fermented DHI, this is what you'd get. Honestly, I think the only reason its not beating Sauvage Elixr in votes right now is because not as many people have tried it. It sells out quick too believe me. This should be in every man's collection. Top ten right off the rip!

Got this smell going into college, rinsed it the summer of. It is that good. You're prolly wondering how the fuck did you finish a 3.4 oz bottle with iris in the summer? Sometimes you just love what you smell and you give a middle finger to everybody else who could be offended. This is the pinnacle for iris in perfumery. Try it for yourself. Also yes edit I found it performed absolutely amazingly in the summer of course. Have never tried it in the winter I need to re up on a bottle.

This is my first fragrance by Givenchy and omg its so good!! I love iris and this frag does iris so very well.. Its boozy because of that whiskey note as well, I will say i dont really pick up on that chestnut note really at all and tbh this fragrance smells to me kinda like a cold coke a cola but I absolutely love it!! Definitely worth every single penny!!! Most definitely going to be buying another bottle of this.

Dark choclate with iris and chestnut. Its boozy, classy and elegant. You cant use for daily tbh but for special occasions and date nights its very very recommended. For performance on skin longevity is 7-8 hour but i can say on my clothes i can smell it 2-3 days. Sillage is not strong but for close contact its so seductive. If you looking for designer fragrance for special events or dates you can buy it blindly.

A wonderful blend of buttery iris, smooth whisky and a masculine masterpiece only hampered by the average projection. Hands down the best releases from Givenchy, and one of the best choices when it comes to buttery, smooth and masculine iris notes in the market. If you want a great date night fragrance with a boozy and buttery feel, this is one of the finest mature choices out there.

A mature banger. Smells soooo good. The iris will make it slightly polarizing. If you don't mind the iris, you will absolutely love this scent. I get a lot of the booze and amber which make it super inviting. It's not completely linear, but I've noticed the opening doesn't last long for me. Once the bergamot fades, it is pretty much the same seductive scent until it's gone.

I would love to write a novel on how good this scent is. Truly one of the best from Givenchy. I'm currently wearing this right now and its just so so good, especially for colder weather here in the northeast. A sophisticated Boozy whiskey opening that dries down into a powdery chestnut, vanilla accord with a touch of iris. Givenchy really made a classic here. 9/10.

Got this as a gift, its an extremely unique smell that gets so many compliments. if you spray it on clothes its lasting forever, if sprayed enough on skin every hug, every person u walk by will be thinking what is that person wearing. HOWEVER, it can get quite suffocating at times especially if its hot, this is a perfect date night smell. 10/10 recommend.

i love this, this is my fav fragrance oat rn but i wish it lasted longer and projected better like man if this was like as strong as let's say even le beau le parfum so strong but not super strong it would be the best fragrance of all time and don't worry what ppl think im a teen and im gonna abuse this this winter and is gentleman edp the same as this?

Perfect date night or relaxing night out during fall or winter any season works though. Boozy warm and relaxing and even a tad bit gourmad. Definitley on the masculine side however it is quite seductive for either gender. Very high quality ingrediants and scent could sleep with this smell next to me all night and never get a headache or tired of it.

This is my favourite fragrance to use for date nights. My girlfriend loves this one, which is a big plus, and the longevity means it will last most of the night at least. The projection is a closer scent, which is very fitting for the style and dries down to a warm, thick scent on the skin. The look of the bottle is very sleek and masculine too.

Tried it both on skin and testing paper. Very woody and elegant fragrange, nice for winter and fall. In my opinion, if you dress more classic you can wear it in a cool weather spring day too. I can pick up the iris note in the dry down, but mainly I find it a woody fragrance, I think it leans more into Dior Homme Parfum than to Intense.

This scent profile is the best thing I’ve ever smelled !! 🥃🌰 Longevity and Sillage are moderate. It’s more of a subtle fragrance, hence why it’s called Gentleman. It’s elegant and sexy for date nights, makes them want to be closer. If you are into Iris and/or Boozy fragrances you should definitely try this one !!

This stuff is amazing, really slept on compared to other winter fragrances of its type. Projects and lasts really well. In the opening it is slightly fresh, with the bergamot, but after 15 seconds, it turns into this amazing beautiful whisky and chestnut fragrance. I love this stuff so much. 8.7/10

A fragrance that became an instant lifelong favorite after the very first wear. Iris with a powdery texture laid over a classic gentleman-style woody base, with a hint of bitter chocolate. The whiskey is subtle, but it’s there, adding a slightly more mature, grown-up character to the composition.

It has that Dior Homme Intense–style iris, lipstick vibe, but with a chestnut and whiskey twist that makes it warmer and a bit sweeter. Very elegant and classy. I still prefer Dior Homme Intense since it feels cleaner and more refined without the boozy note, but this one is still very good. 8/10

The best classy, james bond vibe perfume i've smelled, smells very mature and manly. Only downside is that it cant be applied on any type of clothing styles considering its mature profil scent but overall very seductive and good fragrance for if you wanna look professional and well organized

This fragrance makes me orgasm. There haven't been a fragrance that topped this for me in terms of smell. I'm not as experienced as some of the people here but as I'm progressing and trying new smells I've always came back to this and reminded that this is still the best, for me anyways.

Buy 200 Ml bottle buy on discounter, after sniffing this at dept store. I like the iris scent here not to strong like DHI and here also at boozy vibe The scent is masculine and gorgeous, the performance just moderate, iris note well blended, boozy, overall this is really nice scent.

Smooth as butter! Definitely mature and elegant vibes with this one. This one fits more in the high end causal/semi formal wear. I just wish it performed a tad bit more. But it gets the job done. I give it a 9/10 **update** This is a masterpiece. Already a top 3 in my collection

Reminds me of a darker NR Bleu Noir Parfum quite similar to DHI too! It is Chocolatey, strong iris, woody oak-y scent, with a whiskey sweetness along with the aroma of freshly roasted chestnuts. It opens (to my nose) a lil "Cola-like". Honestly smells like the bottle looks haha.

What an amazing blend. You can tell all the major notes, like iris, chestnut, amber and whiskey. What I particularly like about it, is that the dry down doesn't steer much away from the opening, it's a pretty consistent scent. Best flanker in the gentleman line

When I first smelled it, I was not the biggest fan. It got extremely cheap in a discount one day and I bought it. Fırst day I put it on, I had three compliments. Now I can't get enough. This is truly beautiful. If you don't like it, try again few more times.

Complete Masterpiece! Will always have this in my collection. Makes me think of older fragrances that were not even close to unisex. Super masculine. Love the booze and iris with the woods and what smells like some subtle leather on my skin. Bada$$
