Good day all, Hope this review helps you on your journey. In my journey, I've gone through phases in my personality, shy, quiet, loud, extroverted, funny, brash, mature, reserved, etc.. at a ripe age of 38, I've come to really discover who I am and want to be. So to find a fragrance that best suits me now is always fun. For someone who has had over 70 fragrances and "Right-sized" his collection to just 28, I need to make sure each one I own is best suited to accent my personality depending on the occasion. Well, here in Corpus Christi, Tx, it is finally getting cold, so, I am able to break out some cold weather fragrances. I found myself veering away from fragrances I loved in the past like, JPG Le Male, Paco Rabanne One Million. I still like them in the air, just not on me. I love the Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo Signature, YSL La Nuit De L'homme Le Parfum, Prada Luna Rossa Black & Hugo Boss The Scent Absolute to name few that are always vocal with some gentility. Which is kind of where I'm at in my life. However, I have always wanted something a little softer with some presence. And that is where Gentlemen EDP came into the picture. But the issue is it gets compared to Valentino Uomo Intense (VUI) & Dior Homme Intense (DHI). And I don't care who you are, generally, you're going to hear the other two namebrands and assume they are better, which isn't a complete lie. Both of the aforementioned fragrances are amazing alternatives to most consumers. So, what gives? Well, Gentleman EDP is in Goldilocks zone of these "Intense" Iris based fragrances. Which gives it a different vibe that allows you to choose one that fits your personality better, if you're a loud/extra person, VHI is probably your better choice. For those who are dark mysterious and want their presence to be felt, DHI". And if you're reserved with some eloquence, I feel like Gentlemen EDP is the one for you. Each have that amazing Chocolately-Iris backbone to them, so all will be loved while wearing them. The difference is the Goldilocks peppery levels of this vs VUI, mixed with the lack of that lipsticky-waxy aura of DHI. Which (in my opinion) lends credence to its namesake "Gentlemen" it so effectively showcases. Longevity and projection are the other two reason I say this is very befitting for Gentlemen it's long lasting (8 hours). I wouldn't call it loud, as Gentlemen are never loud. Gentlemen are assertive, in which this is perfectly executed. To those who consider themselves Gentlemen, Givenchy pulled off a tremendous feat by creating something that sincerely exemplified what it means to be a Gentleman.

A fragrance I have owned for nearly 2 years now and this is my impression of the fragrance. In the top notes I get mostly a high quality, powdery and rich iris which blends seamlessly into the clove note which I have not expierenced before in perfumery atleast that I cannot remember, accompanying this unique blend is a mature lavender and soft clean bergamot backed up with soft pepper, my nose is very sensitive to pepper and often I find many doses of it give a "singy" vibe to me but this pepper is too quiet for that. The dry down approaches my skin after about an hour and a half of wearing, it is hard for me to decide whether I like the opening or dry down more. The ambery balsams move in while the powdery iris-clove note quiets down and of course the bergamot and pepper are non existent by this stage. Accompanying this amber-balsamic note is a velvety and milky vanilla that I absolutely adore. -A comparable vanilla note would be that of the dry down in the Amouage Interlude line. In addition to these main players of the dry down there is some tonka bean and a gorgeous but soft-spoken patchouli. The type of person I would understand this fragrance to be best suited to would be a gentleman. ( Who would of guessed.) Its unique but not in an attention seeking way, although it does have quite beastly performance, particularly projection! Very classy and mature. A younger iris-lover would be better directed to Dior Homme edp instead as it lacks the balsamics which make this fragrance more masculine and mature. In my overall opinion this fragrance is extremely high quality for its price and deserves at the very least your respect if not your money. Scent profile: 9/10 Performance: 8/10 Quality: 10/10

I started this week wearing the Boisee flanker of this line. I am sitting in my office just enjoying the little scent haze surrounding me. It's vanillic without taking up all the space. It has an (animalic?) note. Like a shrpness in honey or dry saliva on mom's handkerchied when I was a kid. It's powdery smoky velvet cloak of sensual energy. cinamon can be detected ever so lightly as this blend is all about how everything stands as one intoxicating fragrance and mood. An occasional lavender clean floral pops up at times but rescinds into the fog. I'm always fascinated by the ways scent can evoke an emotion. Mysterious. Classy. Refined, Sensuous, Inebriating. This has a "come hither" feeling. You want to get close with this on. It's a scent for seduction. This is the bedroom Gentleman. The slow dancing seductive Gentleman that wraps arms around someone to admire a night time view of the city from a distant all encompassing view on colder nights. The Gentleman that opens the door for you and takes your coat. The gentleman that you want caressing your neck with his lips as he sends shivers all over your body. There's warmth and comfort in this. I am glad I blind bought this but to be fair I had a Gentleman Givenchy tester as a kid that left an impression that has never been undone by any Givenchy scent I have purchased. This can't go to the office full of crowds. It needs a ride in classy car and a restaurant for date night or a drink with a special someone. The black bottle almost screams "don't expose me to daylight". Velvet Fog

Gentleman by Givenchy is one of the best modern releases of the brand. Launched nearly a decade ago, it was the scent to wear if you wanted a gorgeous, complex, rich, warm vanilla/orris root based perfume! I don’t think it lost its charm or popularity during present times, but now there’s more variety on the market with so many niche brands popping constantly vanilla after vanilla fragrances month after month! My husband is on his third 100 ml bottle and I still love every time I smell Gentlemen in the air around him. I always loved vanilla, cinnamon, cloves, tonka beans, and balsams in perfume, no matter the gender it was catering for. It was me who introduced Gentlemen to my husband and luckily, cause sometimes he’s perfume taste is a bit funny, he loved it instantly too! This perfume is a classic masterpiece for the designer world, because it smells absolutely amazing, lasts forever on clothing and it’s reasonably priced. It’s nothing groundbreaking as far as the composition goes, but the way it was blended and the quality of the raw materials makes it stand out. Smells expensive, rich, intense, like a true gentleman would. It’s probably still the best of the line, ( haven’t gotten my nose on the 2025 flanker, Gentleman Society EDP Ambrée yet) but I have tested the flankers that were released subsequently and besides Gentleman Society, I haven’t bought any because none of the flankers were as amazing as the original Gentleman IMO. I am a vanilla lover at heart and this is that at a perfection level!

When people talk about iris fragrances, the same names always come up — Dior Homme Intense, Valentino Uomo Intense, Prada L’Homme, and Givenchy Gentleman Réserve Privée. All incredible, all worthy of praise. But for me, Givenchy Gentleman EDP is the underrated star of the Gentleman line and is also an amazing Iris fragrance that is worth being mentioned alongside some of the greats. I’ve always loved iris — that soft, powdery note that adds elegance and depth when done right. In this one, it’s blended to perfection: smooth, warm, and balanced. Where Réserve Privée leans toward whiskey and amber, EDP feels richer in texture — more about depth, intimacy, and quiet confidence. The scent itself is nearly addictive. It opens with a touch of spice that melts into creamy, velvety iris, wrapped in patchouli and a gentle sweetness — modern, timeless, and effortlessly magnetic. I have a little ritual with fragrances I truly love: I’ll wear them a few times, then put them away for months just to see if they still move me the same way later. Gentleman EDP passes that test every time. That first spray always brings back the same feeling — calm, confident, magnetic. Givenchy Gentleman EDP is elegance in silence — a modern classic that reminds you confidence doesn’t have to be loud. What a gem.

In short: Warm, spicy vanilla with prominent cinnamon, sophisticated resin/balmy elements and masculine flowers. An overall classic and a masculine, humble and timeless scent. (think old money style) The vanilla isn't unnecessarily sugary or edible, but powdery and sophisticated. It grounds the scent with grace. The flowers (lavender) don't give me a headache, but instead calmly adds wonder and old fashioned but timeless character. It does this without making it overly mature or dated. So a classic. The spices bring masculinity without screaming or trying too hard. They look to be accompanying the cinnamon perfectly. The resin is not to be ignored here: without it, this scent would not be as grounded and humble. There is almost no difference in note volume, but it doesn't smell linear. I would love for it to amp up the distinction to be made between the notes so you can hop around in your mind. And I would like for it to have a more dynamic development, but that's all for the perfectionist in me. Maybe those wishes would spoil the humble character in which it stands so tremendously well. To conclude. It's like a strong, humble man in the prime of his life paying homage to old England. A gentle soul. Soothing, romantic.

My fellow enthusiast, every fragrance containing iris does not always smell like, is not always trying to be like, and doesn’t have to be compared to Dior Homme Intense (DHI - one of my favs) or Valentino Uomo Intense. Givenchy Gentleman EDP (GGEDP) is a fragrance that stands on its own, offering something unique for those looking beyond the typical comparisons. When first sprayed, GGEDP opens with a smooth hint of sweetness, led by a rich vanilla accord that’s sensual without being sugary. This vanilla is grounded by the iris note, adding a soft, creamy texture that feels mature and sophisticated without tipping into overly powdery or floral territory. The combination is effortlessly classy, with a warmth and depth that make it easy to wear. This is a beautifully blended, dark, and refined fragrance—versatile and accessible. It's a fragrance for anyone who wants something both sensual and polished, with a balance of sweet, spicy, and creamy notes that exudes effortless sophistication.

Goes in a very different direction to DHI. Very "orris-ey" iris, going in a more powdery direction without he lipstick accord, although the vanilla and im guessing a dose of ionones add to the wetness of the orris at the start of the fragrance's life. Lavender adds to the fuzziness, although I want to mention that in some wear conditions/batches the black pepper note is done terribly and very screechy, although it disappears eventually. Do not get that in cold weather and old testers. Vanilla definitely picks up within 30 min - 1 hour, where it becomes the dominant note, albeit a dark wet vanilla not a bakery one. Cinnamon is just about noticeable on skin, with some of the sharper clove notes mixing in. Patchouli isn't noticeable directly, but it definitely tempers the vanilla towards the "wetter" side and not cookies. Possibly the best (easily accessible) designer iris, I think DHI is a bit too one-dimensional with how vanillic the iris is, here the vanilla is far more interesting.

The one that got me into Iris. This is a beautiful and mature fragrance. It is exactly what it claims to be. The blend is fantastic and from opening to dry down it is almost perfect if perfect existed. Is it unique? No. Is it "boring"? No. It is what it claims to be. A warm, ambery, vanillay, bit spicy, floral lavender and iris fragrance for a gentleman. Not a teenager or for the club. This is the type of fragrance you wear on your wedding day though myself I'd choose Reserve Prive for that. It's elegant, it's warm, the Iris isn't begging to be noticed, it's not the first thing you smell when you spray it on. I just really enjoy this cologne. It's cozy, soft and a mature but sexy fragrance. Overall: Scent: 89/100, I prefer reserve prive just a bit more because of the added whiskey and cocoa notes. Projection: 72/100, could be a tiny bit better. Longevity: 90/100 very good Male. Fall/Winter/Cool Days and most nights.

Possibly one of the best cold weather fragrances out there for me. I have Boisee, it’s lovely, more mellow but not as half as beastly. I sampled reserve privee, again lovely, mellow and boozy, but does not compare to this. I feel it kind of makes other iris heavy perfumes redundant. Of course Dior homme is a masterpiece, but this will overpower, with class. I don’t believe this is a blind-buy. You must be into iris/vanilla. Signature Nathalie Lorson vibe to it, could be her best for men yet. (I haven't smelled encre noir) It does smell like lipstick, like a powdery make up bag zipped open in your face, but still masculine. It lasts overnight on skin and forever on clothes (I have an old bottle, gift-set back when perfumes were cheap). I believe this is half niche quality at a bargain and one of the rare fragrances I will always repurchase to rotate in the winter.

This scent made my coworker start crushing on me. I used to work at a jewelry store and my brother bought me this scent as a gift and told me I need to dress formally for the job so I would always wear it with black dress pants and a black or white dress shirt and I’m telling you this scent makes you feel like a super fancy rich dude (emphasis on the “makes you feel like” because I am broke lol). Would actually get lots of compliments from customers and even my own coworkers and everyone would always say I smell really good. Definitely a beautiful scent, powdery vanilla is how I would describe it and it’s pretty linear. Lasts long and moderate sillage. Soft and doesn’t irritate others. Personally I would use 5 sprays and that would be the perfect amount. Absolutely loved this scent but unfortunately my bottle ran out. 9/10

I like it at first, but then someone on here said this smelled like boiled vegetables (it doesn't really, but that got stuck in my head), and it messed me up when wearing it for a while because I'd picture that... But, after the dust settled, I can say that this is some superfine juice. Reserve Prive does smell very similar to me. If you like iris, the whole line is good. This one seems to have possibly the best performance in the line. The overall vibe feels quite woody, even though it doesn't have any wood notes listed. I think a lot of the iris scents are pretty unisex, but as some others have said, this one leans masculine. A big FragTuber has said this line is basically a bunch of wannabe DHIs. I disagree. Each one is unique and worth getting your nose on to see if they work for you.

Overshadowed by it’s brother, Givenchy Gentleman Reserve Privee, nevertheless they are both great fragrances, but in my personal taste, I lean towards this even more. Givenchy Gentleman Eau De Parfum in an under-hyped dark Iris fragrance that is a mix of both Valentino Uomo Intense and Dior Homme intense. Still, it is a well blended fragrance to me, very sophisticated and elegant, much easier to wear than Dior Homme Intense, if you ask me. So if you want to have that Dior Homme Intense experience, without smelling like a “grandma”, you can go ahead and choose this fragrance or the Reserve Privee, both are great and seductive scents with great longevity of soft to moderate projection which is perfect for those cuddle times with your girl. Overall ranking, 9.5/10.

Lots of really great reviews below, so I'll keep mine short. First, you have to like powdery (not lipsticky) iris and vanilla to like this. If you do, you will be very happy. Second, this is a quiet, mature man's scent. Not a macho, bragadocious guy. While it could work on a first date, it is better for a man who has been in a long-term relationship/marriage, where there is trust, mutual support and steady love. This just feels solid and comforting. Third, it blends with the skin chemistry of the wearer, becoming interactive, not sitting on the surface projecting only what is in the bottle. Finally, I don't see this as gourmand, because it isn't a foody/desserty smell. While it is sweet and contains vanilla, it has a warm fougere feeling, if not a fougere scent.

A must own for any gentleman or young man looking for a sophisticated iris fragrance. The ratio of versatility to performance to price is excellent. One of the few fragrances in my collection that has seen more than one or two bottles actually depleted since acquiring. Having said that, I also note that there have been some less than savory reformulations of this recently, but in my opinion I love the fragrance enough that I can look past it. The changes made to this haven't been as dramatic as I've seen elsewhere in my collection. Never fails to turn heads, start conversations, and lead to great interactions. Just a fantastic offering from the house, and one that I will try to keep in stock in my cool safe just in case...

I enjoyed this scent, and got both the EDP and the Boisée as a birthday gift. I do prefer the Boisée as it’s more masculine and refined. To me, the EDP is a good everyday wear that sits awkwardly in the realm of Iris of the make-up kind, but it is intriguing. My dad tried this (late 50s) and I realised it is a mature gentleman everyday scent. The fragrance is refined, smooth and well-blended and will be a terrific buy if you’re over 28-30. The longevity is great at around 10 hours, projection is very good, further than arms length and the sillage is decent. Haven’t received many compliments, but dad has had many when he’s had a few spritzes from my collection. Rating: 4.25/5 Recommendation: Buy

Yes.. Bentley Intense.. strong similarities. Minus the bay leaf, leather & booze. Dryer, Smokey powdery incense woody (headache inducing sometimes). woody oriental opening (clove/ cinnamon) that last throughout the life of the fragrance. There’s also an underlying balsamic sweetness (tolu balsam/ tonka/ benzoin) that makes the blend so delicious & charming. Warm nilla husk barbershop powder 🤤sorta like 1725. The benzoin is like that of Pí & as mentioned, Bentley Intense.. dry, ‘dusty’ vanillic qualities. I couldn’t stop burying my nose in the shirt I wore the previous day 🫠 The carded sample smelled superior to the full bottle I have. Opening goes to Bentley, Dry down to GG EDP.

I've been really enjoying Gentleman EDP, as an iris lover I had to give it a try and i'm not disappointed! I admit the opening can be a bit "mature" / "classic" smelling but that goes away fairly quickly. The dry down is a divine powdery vanilla. the longevity is also very good, above average for sure. but in terms of orris/iris fragrances I believe Dior homme intense is still the superior one. but Gentleman EDP gets very close. It also gets compared to Valentino Uomo intense, however VUI is a bit too sweet in my opinion, Gentleman EDP is much more rounded. If you are an iris lover, owning all three won't be redundant at all, since each one is a bit different from the other.

Thoroughly impressed by this. Yes it has a slight makeup-y smell but it's not overshadowing what's a distinctly masculine smell. The lavender in this is a very sharp lavender, not much sweetness in it, but it very quickly is overwhelmed by the iris note which mingles beautifully with the cinnamon and the vanilla in the base. Peppery aromatics with powdery iris and sweet amber and spice. Without the iris this would be too rough but the iris note mellows the fragrance out and balances it. But I really like how this never becomes overly sweet. Great stuff. Don't overspray it you will choke out the room. Got my 60 ml bottle for about $60, I consider that a fantastic price.

One of my favourite perfumes I have, though easily my least worn. Luxurious, elegant, and warm, Gentleman is a perfume designed with black-tie attire in mind. As such, I don't think it's a very safe blind buy, especially because it is not versatile at all. But at the right event, with the right style, it's an amazing scent. It's quite powdery, but personally, I like that about it. It sets it apart from Valentino Uomo Intense and Dior Homme Intense, and I think it's different in a good way. I understand how this is not for everyone though. Projection and longevity are very good too, so you do not have to worry about people not noticing you're wearing it. I love it.

When I first took a whiff of this on a test strip, I wasn’t very impressed. It started off strong and gave me a vibe that it would clear a room, but I couldn’t leave it up to just a strip, so I sprayed some on my arm and took notes throughout the day. Do NOT let a test strip fool you - this juice is fantastic, and might just be a new favorite of mine. It completely comes to life on skin and goes through various notes throughout its dry-down. I leave it to 2-3 sprays and find it radiates beautifully and sticks around for a very long time, getting pleasant whiffs of it hours later. Is this my “signature scent”? It’s pretty dang close to becoming it.

Revisiting this one again in the cool nights over here in Sweden, and oh my god is this such a powerhouse, at least my bottle. Strong projection and lasting power. Very warm but clean, the orris is very fantasy-style but gets a nice backbone from the ambers and the vanilla, very beginner friendly powder. Gotta be honest that this is really the only style of Orris/Iris fragrance that I truly enjoy. The only issue with this is that it's hard to find a slot for it because it doesn't go casual at all. It's pretty much reserved for a night on the town or dressed up events or parties. Look your best to make this shine.

Probably the strongest Iris/Orris scent from Givenchy (like Dior, also owned by LVMH, that punch of Iris in their Dior Homme) followed by a powdery, buttery, smooth but strong non-gourmand vanilla undertones. its fantastic, only negative is terrible customer service (which sadly ALL LVMH owned brands have dipped in quality last decade; Givenchy, Dior, Maison Francis Kurkdjian, Louis Vuitton) so buy from discounters to avoid issues... 60 emails, they never responded to my return request. When they sent me a cracked bottle And i'm a black ribbon member. Alas, I still love the fragrance

I LOVE this fragrance. Ordered Boisee. Then went back to the Macy's I was at to spray on the EDP and refresh my memory (had the whole Gentleman lineup sprayed on me confusing lol). It's the make-up + lipstick one, it's like Boisee but more deep. Of course, Boisee is newer but I'm discovering them all now. Something about that rich lipstick and makeup smell. The richness or darkness is the masculine component, hard to describe but it all powders together potently. Night out smell, but I'd wear it every night and day lol. This one will be my next purchase. ☺️

I ordered this one by mistake (misclicked on my order of Gentleman society). Even though it was different than the Society flanker, the opening was barely noticeable for me. After it dries down a bit, I noticed the pepper, the Iris, and the woody notes. It smells really good and lasts very long on clothes. However, I don't really smell it on my skin after wearing it for a while, even though I've been told that it smelled really good to others. It's a great fragrance with a great smell and a nice spicy alternative to Gentleman society.

Elegant and classy, thats what it is. For me it smells like December, Christmas holidays. A perfect choice for going out at night on a date or a reunion with friends, family. I own both EDP and Privee Reserve. Been a fan of Givenchy since i became 18years old. Now im 31. So im not exaggerating when i say i own almost all the fragrances from the Gentleman Society and Gentleman Only lines. They suit my type and last long on my skin. I will forever keep repurchasing it just like Privee Reserve, such a manly and classy winter perfumes.

I get a boozy vanilla cinnamon. It is very dark and masculine in my opinion.I get almost a D&G The One on the dry down, which I love The One. It projected quite nice for about 5 hours but it is still on my shirt after 12. Blind buy and I am very happy with it. I can't say it's one I would wear every day. It just feels like a special occasion/ date night type of scent. I paid 80 usd for a 100 mil bottle with a travel spray at a discount store so I feel like I got a pretty good deal.

My boyfriend wears this and it is just divine on him. We went fragrance shopping together and chose this unanimously as his scent. It's so delicious. Smooth, creamy orris, vanilla and tonka with benzoin and patchouli base notes. Neither of us smell pepper, the lavender doesn't stand out alone but it blends well with the other notes. It has a wonderful depth and lasts all day and into the next, and doesn't stop smelling so damn good. A fabulously sophisticated masculine fragrance.

A blind buy as Givenchy was my first love and the trust is there. Not that this is redolent of the 1970s original Gentlemen whatsoever. All the same, this is my favourite fragrance buy of 2024. There’s a smooth creaminess with a tantalising hit of boozy woods. It’s just so good! I even wear it to bed. There’s a quiet intimacy to this, yet it is adequately bold with expansive projection that’s never cloying. I hope this one stays for a long time to come...

Masterful perfumery. Other than they both have Iris in them, I don't get the Dior similarity. Gentleman is a different style. Far creamier and smoother. It is also more versatile whilst still giving off an aura of class and style. Moderate performance when it comes to sillage but it does last 7+ hours when snuggling with significant others. 😉 This fragrance isn't a 'try hard'. It does more than enough as an elegant, well blended, soft, masculine classic.

I must say, this one has grown on me over time. The first 3 or 4 times i tested this fragrance, all I got was vanilla and a roasted marshmallow smell. Now I can tell that the cloves and cinnamon blending with the vanilla and iris is creating that smell. However I was hoping for an iris bomb and this is not it unfortunately. But this is worth the pickup I assure you. Nice blend for fall and winter but not much versatility.

I am absolutely in love with this fragrance😍 Despite all the reviews, i chose to go with this EDP and i do not regret it at all. I’ve smelt society and EDT intense and they are both terrible. This is a nice, powdery, dark vanilla with iris scent with a hint of a little freshness in the background. The dry down is amazing with great silage and longevity. Great for the colder days and gets TONS of compliments. 9/10

Thank the lord for fragrances like this. Because Dior homme was and is such a beautiful fragrance. However, with the discontinuation and reformulation of the parfum version and intense version we must turn to fragrances like this to get back what we’ve lost. Between this fragrance and Valentino uomo intense, I still get my beloved scent of that lipstick iris. Thank you Givenchy...for beautiful your work.

@ Thelovecats said it " smell's like toothpaste to me for some reason" and while I don't get toothpaste from this particular Givenchy, I 100% get a toothpaste vibe from Givenchy Gentleman Boisee which came out a couple of years later. There's got to be something about the note combination here because that's a weird vibe to be picking up from a men's fragrance and we've both noticed it in the same line.

Imagine a Dior Homme Intense but a little darker iris, with added spicy vanilla To me this is better, but DHI smells cleaner, and on my skin, something is a little sour there, so doesn't really work for me. So some people will like it more then. Both are great fragrances for sure! If you're looking for a cozy warm iris scent for cold days / nights It's a really nice option. Try it first on skin.

So I have had this for 5 years and have only wore it twice. This stuff is potent in the best way. It stays on my skin every bit of 14 hrs, effortlessly. So I have drawn a conclusion, after having the likes of Haltane, Oud for Greatness... this smells like this with iris. Am I right? The patchouli/lavender combo. Its so well blended and smooth. I'll definitely be using this more this winter.

I think this is what l thought Dior Homme Intense would smell like after smelling Dior Homme parfum for the first time. Let it dry. First it's a burst of iris powder, but it will start transforming into a peppery, woody and spicy scent little by little. Performance is superb. If you completely dislike the powdery part, just try the EdT Intense.

This is a nice powdery, sweet-vanilla iris scent that i absolutely love. This smells like a mature man who knows what he’s doing.This fragrance stands out more in the cooler weather even if it’s sunny( in the morning). This has gotten me many compliments from people 15-25. Recommend this for everyone looking for a mature vanilla scent.

É o melhor perfume que eu tenho, perfeito para ocasiões alinhadas, terno e gravata e românticas. Dura muito e a projeção é do jeito que eu gosto, intermediária/intimista, as pessoas vão sentir quando estiverem bem próximas, ou quando te abraçarem. É uma fragrância que não vai te deixar na mão e vai se manter linear desde que borrifar.

I stopped wearing this for 2 years because of some other fragrances but i never stopped loving it. Whenever i smell it i say damn this is a great perfume fr. I have to start wearing it again this winter. Masculine vanilla, with some spices and patchouli, great performer as well. No lady can resist this trust me on that. Overall: 9/10

In my opinion Givenchy Gentleman EDP is one of the finest cold weather fragrances. Among the entire Gentleman line, it was the only one which got a reaction out of me and I kept going back to it. It’s the sort of a fragrance that grabs attention but does not seek it. It portrays quiet confidence and is truly a gentleman's fragrance.

Well shit, this just might be my best purchase of the year. Smells classy, edible, powdery, and sexy. This would also be my first fragrance with iris and I just knew I would love it. Definitely a top favorite of mine now. Lasts me a good 8-9 hours with good projection for 2-3 hours. Straight 10/10 for me

Amazing, sweet almost cake like perfume. Makes you want to get another sniff, try to understand what’s going on, then get another sniff just because it seems logical. It is a good compliment getter, and has done wonders for me. Safe blind buy. Perfect for a date/party if you want to catch someone’s eye.

All I smell is pepper and a sexy vanilla that makes you smell naked(I'm just going off of what I smelt without looking at the notes). Very formal, definitely more masculine, long lasting, idk about sillage since I haven't used this outside of formal parties where there's not a lot of people. 8.5/10

GGEDP is a manly yet distinguished scent that embodies sex appeal and class. Starts off with almost a boozy and oudy note and then settles into the iconic iris/powdery base. I love it. Performance is above average on me. I still think Reserve Privee is better though. But both are amazing. 8.4/10

Givenchy Gentleman EDP is one of my favorites for cold weather, it smells mysteriously brilliant. You can feel the quality of the fragrance I love it a lot so it is ineffable to describe it, sometimes you just need to smell the thing it's all about personal feelings, memories, and imagination.

To my nose this smells like a stronger Dior Homme Intense they're not the same but a very similar iris note. I actually love and prefer this over dhi as have them both. It's very iris lipstick makeup smelling with a bit of vanilla in the dry/down. It also long lasting on me. 9/10

This lasts a good while and it's strictly a cooler weather fragrance. Its powdery vanilla nature makes it a mature scent. This isn't a versatile fragrance and rather sophisticated so you have to be dressed up and in the right mood to wear it. It's complex and good for what it is.

Although I enjoy the scent, I find it redundant to own both the EDP and reserve Privée, they smell the most similar, while boisée and reserve Privée have more différences, so those 2 i'd buy(already have réservé)have to mention that on my skin they're similar, so for me redundant
