Irrésistible Givenchy Eau de Toilette Fraiche

It has such a joyous start. Fruity-floral at its best. Reminiscent of Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet. Then it turns a bit woody, but cedar finally is not too prominent in Irresistible collection. It is toned down a lot. The drydown is divine. Fresh, inviting, floral-sweet. To hug someone smelling like that is a pure pleasure. The freshness is toned down by slightly lipsticky rose-iris pair. Just beautiful. Successful blind buy. Safe to use in the morning it will wake one up. Safe for the office and for casual and romantic occassions. I know the eau de parfum, Nude Velvet and this I possibly prefer. A love at first contact. The musk in it is warm and carnal. My husband likes it. After five hours it still goes strong in a private bubble and it is a gorgeous fruity-floral with very subtle woody background. Refreshing, cute, timeless. With time orange becomes stronger and the scent is starting to fade away but it is detectable in wafts from time to time past 8 hours of wear.

I received a sample of this fragrance today. Being a man, I'm always happy when I receive random feminine samples so that I can broaden my ofactory knowledge. Irresistilbe EF is fresh, bright, clean and delicious! The pear note, though not listed, is very prominent in this version too, and it's a succulent and icey one, so aromatic that it conjures the image of a pear & basil sorbet. So fresh that It could also be the scent of some of those beauty product lines marketed for post sun-bathing use - and I say that in the best sense possible, without implying that Irresistible is unsophysticated or unrefined. By pure coincidence I was wearing another wonderful creation by the same gang today: YSL L'Homme Intense. Blessed be that day when someone decided to pair Flipo's and Ropion's talents. BTW, this perfume is truly unresistable!

I was hesitant to buy it because of negative reviews but I like the notes listed for it so I took a chance, moreover I found it at a very good price. I am happy I bought it. In my opinion it's underrated. To me this falls into category of stronger but fresh and sparkly EDT, the EDT that performs like an EDP - the Miss Dior type which I love. I do get a lot of sweet mandarin orange and a hint of pink pepper in the beginning, which is very refreshing; then it becomes a very nice musky rose, still retaining the sweetness but not overwhelmingly so. It is a strong scent though, it may feel heavy for some people, so I do understand the reviews in this sense. It is probably not a safe blind buy. It lasts and projects very well on my skin: 5 hours+, which is very good for an EDT. I am personally very happy with it.

This simple fragrance fascinates me, utterly. An opening of orange, pink roses and musk followed by a quick set-in dry down of iris and musk dominating and the other notes playing lovely background music. In the humid heat, irresistible, ouais. The DNA is simple, but it is exactly for that purpose. The entire Irresistible line of fragrances intrigue me for their simplicity and tastefulness. But the price of the bottle is a barrier to ownership, I don't think they're priced for what they are. And that's all I have to say.

This is such a gorgeous fragrance. It smells bright, energetic, and delectable. I know this smell! It smells just like Yakult, the Korean yogurt drink (or a bit like Milkis the soda). Sadly, it fades so quickly... It's gone within the hour. Vanished. In its final 30 minutes, it's a quiet floral whisper. I wish it lasted even 2 hours, then I'd buy it.

There is something about this that is absolutely gorgeous. I can’t stop smelling my wrist. It is so fresh and lovely. I plan to wear this during spring/summer and the EDP version fall/winter. Definitely a new top 5 for me.

This smells so lovely. The opening is instant happiness and its overall just perfect to lit your mood anytime. 💕

I like Irrésistible Eau Fraiche by Givenchy, but not as much as the original Irrésistible by Givenchy. It's probably the pink pepper in the top notes that is giving this perfume a less floral effect, what with its spicy and peppery character and all. I'm not the biggest fan of the mandarin orange in the top notes too, though it isn't as noticeable as the pink pepper in this. I think that violet and jasmine would have been better top notes for this. The heart notes of rose and iris are of course my favorite part of this fragrance and what makes me lean towards liking it, but I think maybe some jasmine or gardenia thrown in there would be nice too and make this more feminine and floral sweet. More romantic smelling. Less powdery. I like the musk in the base, but I think that the woody smell from the cedar is a bit too strong for me and I perhaps would have preferred something else in its place, like lily maybe. It would have added some sweetness whilst still giving some nice spice. I got 8 hours wear from this and a moderate sillage, which is quite surprising for an eau de toilette! I'd recommend this perfume to women for the spring or summer time during the day, since it is quite a light and casual type of fragrance. It could definitely be worn to work though! Altogether, I'd give Irresistible eau fraiche by Givenchy a 7 out of 10 for a fragrance that is good but not amazing.

Irresistible EDP was love at first smell. Till that moment it was very difficult for me to find a fragrance that felt like my scent, so the moment I smelled it for the first time I fell deeply in love. 😍🥰🎀💓 Nevertheless, something went wrong when instead of buying the EDP version I bought this one. I love this version just as much, don't get me wrong. It's a floral, musky, slightly sweet fragrance that I really like! I enjoy so much this scent, and every time I wear this fragrance I get compliments! But I still prefer the EDP version, so I am patiently waiting to finish this bottle to buy the other one that I am sure I'm going to enjoy even more! As you would expect from an Eau de Fraiche, the duration is poor but it still lasts long on skin and clothes. One day I put it on at 2pm and at 10pm I got a compliment from an friend! ✨️🫧 so keep in mind that it’s always depends on the ph of each person!

The first time I tried this scent out, the dry-down had this unpleasant toe-jam like accord. It turns out that this scent was clashing with the remnants of another sweet scent I'd put on earlier that day, so let that be a warning to would-be buyers. I gave it another chance today and I didn't encounter any toe-jam; however, it does have a noticeable waxy accord that pops up after a couple of hours. I love the tart beginning and the powdery phase that comes soon after, though, but what really hurts this scent is the short longevity. I've had it on for nearly four hours and I am already straining to smell it. It would be a great casual scent for warmer weather, but I honestly don't see myself buying it. I will say that it is a bit more interesting than the original EDP, which to me smells like diluted sugar water.

This fragrance is for us sensitive noses! I suffer from migraines so I can't wear strong fragrances, but I still love perfume. Irresistible EdT Fraiche is a fragrance that meets all of my needs. It's soft, yet fresh (which you can assume from the name). I get mostly musk and rose, with a slight plastic or hair spray vibe - but I mean that in the best way possible. Maybe it's because musks tend to last forever on me, or maybe it's because my nose can be sensitive, but this fragrance lasts quite a long time for me. It may be a skin scent, but it sticks around. And because it's a lighter scent, it's perfect for the Summer!

I'm really trying to find something in this line that works for me. I love the smell of the OG EDP but after a while the sweetness is just too much for me. It's the type of scent I can enjoy on others but not on myself, I guess. I thought that the Eau Fraiche might be a good solution.and it is, in terms of the sweetness being mitigated, but the trade-off is that it seems to lack 'body' and fades quickly. Were this a cheaper scent I would purchase it despite its 'thinness' and resultant lack of staying power. At its current high price point I don't feel that a purchase is justified.

This line is very feminine and floral, I imagine the color pink in the middle of spring. I wouldn’t buy the full bottle but would gladly use up any samples or decants I get my hands on.

Fresh, light, but still very feminine. A right-out-of-the-shower kind of scent. Sprayed this on my wrist to try it and the scent lasted about 10 hours, way longer than I thought it would with how light and airy it is. I kept smelling my wrist throughout the day and it really is a lovely, light, refreshing scent. My sweater sleeve kept the scent even longer, well into the next day. Very non-offensive, almost to a fault, as to me it came off as just a very nice clean shampoo-y scent later into its wear time. Doesn't have a loud personality but is just really nice!

I'm really surprised that I like this fragrance as much as I do. I'm usually not a fan of orange/citrus sometimes I'm meh on it, but usually I don't like it. However, in this fragrance the orange is really nice. It's fresh and summery and I like how it balances out the rose and iris. I'm a big fan of Givenchy's musk and cedar and it's no exception in this scent. Overall, this is really fresh and feminine. It's just so lovely! I wish this came in a travel spray.

This fragrance is very light and fresh. I like it better than the other irresistible fragrances in the line, but it does smell almost like a hair product.

Nice and fresh, candy rose and breeze. But disappears as fast as lightning. Or faster.

〰✴ Basic floral citrusy with a basic personality ✴〰 An unpretentious citrusy floral scent. Givenchy defines it as "effervescent rose", and I agree: you can mostly smell the floral (especially rose) and citrusy notes. Indeed good, but nothing special. It doesn't small bad, but it’s just really very basic, so I think the name "Irresistible" doesn't match with the fragrance itself, just marketing. It’s defined as a "floral spicy musky, fresh rose faceted with vibrant spices", but I don't smell any musk or spices. The scent always remains pretty much the same without evolving. Sillage and longevity are pretty low. Youthful perfume suitable for young people (especially teenagers) who like fresh, floral and girly scents, but I truly believe you can get better alternatives for the same price. This perfume is just ok, and in my opinion has no personality. I have to mention two pros of the perfume: the design of the bottle (actually cute) and the easy wearability. Setting & feelings: You're a freshman, you’re walking through the halls of your high school and you meet a classmate who definitely wants to be noticed: she's very feminine, but it's obvious that she's "trying too hard”. She looks like she wants to leave the sign and be unforgettable... well, there’s no way you’re gonna forget the trail of hairspray she left behind. Overall: 5/10 N✴〰

❣︎ It smells lovely ! It’s not something that I would re purchase ,but I will definitely enjoy this while owning it. With that being said it still smells incredible, but when I compare it to a real gem ,for example (Stella by Stella Mc Cartney ) it didn’t wow me like that fragrance had . Everyone has that one fragrance that knocks them off their socks , although this is lovely , it didn’t do that for myself. You can really smell the pink pepper in this fragrance , the floral notes are tamed down & mesmerizing. The longevity isn’t the greatest, I reapplied it often. It does get a lot of compliments, the first time I wore this a stranger asked me “what I was wearing ?”, she even jotted down the name to buy it for herself. This is a very floral fragrance, it does have fruity elements to it aswell. This is very reminiscent of Gwen Stefani fragrances from the past. It would make a really good day fragrance & is not a loud scent at all. ❣︎

This version of Irresistible is sharper and more punchy than the original. It really amps up the tartness and remains lighter feeling than the original. After the tart, fruitiness of the opening, there's a rose musk scent. It's the same base scent as the original. I could see this being the scent of a hair product like a leave-in conditioner or hairspray. It doesn't last all day but I wouldn't expect that from an eau fraiche anyway. Ultimately, Givenchy Irresistible Rose Velvet is by far the best out of this entire line. I feel this and the original are not even worth trying.

fresh scent that’s perfect for the summer! ☀️ this was given to me by my aunt for my birthday. it's light and airy with notes of pear and musky rose upon initial spray. it doesn’t change much from there but love that the rose is mild and not too much. the pink pepper smells a bit weird and puts me off, but in general, this is too light to be offensive so i can live with that. ➤ lasts 2-3 hours ➤ weak projection, skin scent ➤ 8/10 - elegant and clean bottle design smells sophisticated, expensive, and classy! 🌹

It's okay, it's a musky pink rose, it's not bad but not crazy good either. A little different from standard fresh rose, this is more musky and powdery with iris. Similar to the original in the opening, but I feel the drydown is not as good, the citrus/orange comes out too strong on my skin and starts smelling too generically fresh like hand sanitizer. I prefer the original.

This is a beautiful light , soft , powdery, musky perfume for autumn ! I would recommend. Its a lightness on the skin like a air breeze... just wonderful. I'm in love! Update in summer, iris is coming trough along with the cedar.The musk is still prominent, a lipstick vibe all together.It sits close to the skin.

I’m underwhelmed by this Givenchy – clean fruity-rose with no edge whatsoever. It’s pretty but nothing more than that. Besides, it doesn’t last more than an hour on my skin, a bit more on clothes but with totally faint projection. I find it rather hard to find it irrésistible.

This one gets a solid “o.k.” Nothing more. Fresh, sweet, a hint of citrus. Light. Suitable for younger people looking for a soft, bright and fresh scent that wears close.

Soft, dusty, sour potpourri rose. Nude nylons, pink lace, hairspray glamour, and ropes upon ropes of costume pearls.

Opens up nice with a beautiful iris/powdery orange scent but within an hour or less I can barely smell it.

It’s too sour for me. I prefer Very Floral and Blossom Crush in this line.

After one hour you are left with musk and cedar in the dry dow...

I’m very sensitive to strong scents and can only enjoy very light, fresh, barely-there scents. I had high hopes for Irresistible Fraiche and bought a full bottle after sampling it in the store, where it seemed very promising. Unfortunately, I now find it unbearable. I've tried it in various conditions—colder weather, warmer days, daytime, nighttime, on clothes, on skin, and even after letting it macerate. Despite my efforts, it remains a head-piercing, headache-inducing mess, and nothing seems to change my mind. Edit: I had been trying it on clothes and skin at the same time. I have come to realize that when I spray it just on my skin (and not on my clothes), it’s a completely different scent. It’s a pretty, feminine, floral dumb reach kind of scent. Still not a love, but so far it has survived a declutter. Edit: It’s been declutterd :(

I already did a review when i tried this the first time. I am rewriting my review because after trying it the second time, this second experience was totally different than the first. i am BLOWN AWAY at how cheap this crap smells. And how childish. This smells VERY 7th grade. This is NOT for adults. It smells like some cheap bath set you would get from walmart for a Christmas present. This is NOT recommendable.

On me, it smelt just like this: You were curling or straightening your hair. You burnt some of it. Then when you were done, you sprayed hairspray all around yourself. It smells like hair products to me and not in a good way. It just smells kind of burnt. But this is just MY association with the scent, so maybe it wouldn’t hurt to try it yourself.

Spritzed on my wrists to test. Sweet like powdery cotton candy which I personally find cloying and unpleasant. Sitting at my desk during my work day I'd get a whiff of something and kept wondering why it smelled like scented baby diapers before remembering I was testing this. Maybe a 13 year old girl could make Irresistible work but as a woman in my 30's it doesn't appeal to me.

This smells good it just smells so generic, and I swear my sample also smells like eraser dust. I do like the smell but I would probably get a different flanker in the line. Works great when it’s warm out too! Long lasting but doesn’t project very much. I tried this again today and the first spray is very sweet and sort of syrupy to me the way strawberry usually smells in perfume, then kinda synthetic in a modern perfume way, then eraser dust. I’m not really liking it now.

I received a free sample of this in my perfume order. I don't think I have ever tried a peppery musky rosy iris scent before, and Irrésistible Fraiche is a nice surprise. It is simple, pleasant and linear. It lasts a long time but mostly it is the rose that stays; the iris is prominent at first but vanishes quickly. It paints a picture of bright sky with warm soft sunlight and flowers blooming. Nice scent for spring.

Smells like old skool 💄. Dry, powdery and creamy at the same time. Not bad, but not something I’d want to wear. Seems strange to call this EdT Fraîche. But then I guess my mind goes to light, fruity aquatic/fresh when I read “fraîche“. 🤷♀️

Nice rose-iris-musky scent, but nothing ground breaking. I wouldn't add it to the collection because of the price, it's super overpriced, thought it's a crowd pleaser. Not full bottle worthy, but I definitely will use my sample.

Why exactly did we need a 3rd very similar version of the same scent? Safe, soft and pleasant just like the previous 2, and unnecessary AF. Can't smell much citrus in this, 90% of it is the OG.
