Irrésistible Givenchy Eau de Toilette

I almost passed this one by. Oh my am I glad I didn’t! At first sniff, smells generic and floral. But I bought it anyway because... sale! Got it home and sprayed it on one evening and within 20 minutes was enveloped in a cloud of happiness. A pleasant fresh smell, inoffensive, sweet and happy. When I woke up the next day, I could still smell it, more musky and less floral, still entirely pleasant. For me this hits all the points: sophisticated, classy, feminine and romantic, without being noisome or noxious. A true grown woman scent that sits well with a woman who has found her identity. Love love love! Don’t let the first sniff of the bottle betray you. Your skin and natural scent evolve this potion to a magnificent and beautiful scent!!!

I like this scent so much. It's not your typical rose: it's very soft, sparkling and clean with a blackcurrant hint (the one I bought lists blackcurrant in the top notes, not cassis), it's light but not weak, it does have good lasting power. Makes me feel really clean and cozy though it's not a soapy scent at all, it's more sparkly. Also great for layering as it's clean and unique. I actually like this more than the Fraiche flanker which leans more masculine on my skin.

Beautiful mouthwatering like lotion sweet musk. Showerfresh and feminine. Very longlasting om me. You must like sweet scents. It is both sour and sweet. I use it now in the summer day and night.

This is SO pretty. Rose and beautiful musk. It's a soft girly fragrance but lasts so well. I loveee

I actually LOVE this fragrance, but sillage and longevity is sadly nonexistent on me. It's very simple, feminine and elegant, but in a slightly more original packaging (according to my nose, at least). I guess it's the musk that gives it somewhat of an edge (more like a round corner if anything, but you get the point) for me. I love musk in conjunction with sweeter notes, it gives an extra dimension to fragrances that would perhaps be basic and common without it. To me, it's feminine, clean and very cute, but it still has a very wholesome and down to earth character to it, which is a combination I often seek out in fragrances. It's basically everything I want from a simple no-brainer fragrance, but my body chemistry sadly seems to devour it within a few minutes. I'm suspecting that it has something to do with me turning 31 and becoming a woman more so than a girl, which isn't easy to admit, as I still love everything pink and girly. Sadly not a repurchase for me even though I love it, as it's pretty much money evaporating into thin air, but I would 100% buy again if sillage and projection was better. Might try the EDP even if it seems to not be identical to this, idk. 4/5

Surprisingly, I actually don't hate this. When I first sprayed it on, the musk felt so overpowering I thought I was going to faint. However, once it dried down I actually really enjoyed the fruity & fresh notes in this. This really felt like a muskier version of the Daisy from Marc Jacobs. To be honest, I would have really liked this had it not been for the insanely strong opening notes of musk. It's a shame, if it weren't for the musk this would definitely have been a favorite. Some people might really like this, but its just not for me. Update: I've tried this perfume several times now, and I actually really like this. I feel like the scent of musk isn't that strong anymore(maybe I got used to it?), and its now a lovely sweet scent. I actually think that I might just buy a travel spray of this before I make up my mind about a full bottle.

The eau de parfum was already uneventful, but the eau de toilette I am sampling today is close to non-existent and I like light scents. This has a sillage of a roll-on deodorant, if that at all! I barely feel it with my nose to my wrist and nothing is projecting from my neck. Eternity Now I tested recently seems like a beast performance compairing to this, and it is light and gentle. On my wrist it is a slightly powdery rose, thanks to iris, with hints of white tea, with a bit harsh cedar background softened by musk. This would be pretty if it had any presence. But it doesn't from a sample, even tested globally. Maybe from the bottle it has some sense. Or during summer. After 3 hours on my wrist it is so faint like a 24hours drydown of a stronger parfum, but it is so non-existent from the start.

O.k to like in summer. I did not like it from the sampler, I thought it too woody and near nonexistent. But it wears so well, I now like it, nearing love for performance. Light but long-lasting. Very similar to Irresistible edp but less dense, airier. I bought it to complete my Irresistible collection and I am satisfied with it. Very pretty princess scent. Pencils included. The rose, cedar and iris are the most prominent on me. It is lightly sweet and cute with warm and powdery base. And this baby lasts well despite the heat. Going to sleep I still feel it on, applied on 1 p.m Very unintrusive, universal, safe, pretty and long lasting. I am only not certain it differs sufficiently from the edp.

It's a nice gentle and soapy rose that is very surprising preformence-wise. Not sure if it's something I would buy because it's pretty basic. But if you're into simple fragrances that just smell clean and fresh, you should defintely try this one. Sillage is pretty great, I sprayed one time on my wrist and could smell it in the air for about 3 hours of walking and from the wrist about 5 hours.

I agree with the comments that this fragrance is generic. But sometimes that the entire beauty of a perfume. It's perfect for spring and summer, very office-friendly and crowd pleasing. Gives humble girl vibe who is dressed in pink and smells fresh. Its more for younger women I suppose. Smells fresh and out of shower powder. Personally I like it more than edp.

...just as I started to really get into this, I broke the bottle! :/... 👍 Feminine! 👍 I get compliments when I wear it! 👍 It lasts longer then expected from an EdT! 👍 Signature worthy! It's an inoffensive fragrance that exudes femininity and elegance but manages to fit a wide range of ages... I'm curious about the EdP now...

my mother got this for me recently for Christmas!! Although I’m non-binary I can still wear this because it’s a good scent. At first it’s overpowering but the dry down is good. It’s a bit synthetic though I really don’t smell the rose much but I can see myself wearing this in 2023!! (This is my first review ever)

Rose, iris, musk, and cedar... These notes express themselves as a sort of night time bed fragrance. Something you'd wear to be irresistible to your partner, rather than a daytime fragrance. Everything about this fragrance is soft and gentle. So very lovely! And that's all I have to say.

Rose suntan lotion. Some days I love this and some days it's cloying. If you're looking for a creamy, soft rose, look no further. For an EDT the lasting power is really quite good so I can imagine the EDP version to be killer. It's very elegant and inoffensive, suitable for any age.

I got this as a tester and I’ve been wearing it for the last couple of days. I don’t normally like rose scents, but this is nice. Nothing special- pretty generic. But it’s nice and I’d wear it as a daily safe scent.

I am suprised to see that master perfumer Dominique Ropion signed his name under this creation. I was gifted this perfume by one of my guy friends, aparenty one of the sales ladies recomended it, and the first thing he asked me when I sprayed it was if I think it smells like old ladies. And while I usually don't put an age to perfume upon first spray I thought the opposite of what he was asking - this smells like a perfume for little girls. Very innocente and delicate, it reminded me of the perfumes my mother used to buy me when I was little. The first time smelling it I was sure there was fresia and orange in this due to how sharp is smells. It's strange, it smells sharp and powdery at the same. I like that powder note of iris, it smells like lipstick, but it only lasts for a cuple of minutes before musk and rose takes over. At this point that beautiful iris note is gone. Looking at the notes now I feel like the sharpness comes from the big dose of rose - there's too much of it. Imo if they took out the rose and amped up the iris this would be a beautiful perfume. I am a big fan of rose but here it's too much. Don't smell this at a close distance as you might knock yourself out The lasting powder is not good even thou the initial smell is very powerfull. After that it quickly becomes a skin scent. I feel like this might smell better in the spring.

This is just okay for me. I don’t hate it, and I’m not even going to say I don’t dislike it. I’ll keep the sample in my purse for those days I forget to spray a fragrance before leaving for work, but I’m never going to spend money on a real bottle of this fragrance. It’s a very powdery, musky fragrance and the drydown gets more and more masculine with every hour. More than a couple sprays of this turns it into migraine fuel. There’s also not a lot of rose, not much sweetness, and no warmth in the base. It does smell quite clean and fresh. Longevity is actually pretty good, especially considering this is an EDT. I get about 6-8 hours out of it. I don’t actually know what the sillage is like since I haven’t asked anyone around me, but I feel like I can easily smell this, especially in the first hour. It’s actually quite strong.

I was sent two samples with another fragrance purchase, the EDP and EDT. This one is quite different to the EDP. It has cassis instead of pear as it's fruit note. To my nose it smells like airy, sweet powdery strawberry candy or vintage soap, the circular ones wrapped in pleated paper in Grandma's bathroom. The longevity of this seemed better than the EDP imo. I would purchase it as something to spray on me and my pyjamas before bed but only if it was half the price. Pleasant and clean, but far too expensive for what it is.

This scent is so soft, reminds me of bubblegum (rose bubblegum specifically) and white flowers. I prefer EDT over the other flankers, because they're too much... Such a nice smell for work at the office or special warm events. Girls like it but adult women do too, I feel like it's for all ages as it's powdery and sweet.

Edt is very different from the edp. Edt: musky rose, floral sweet in the beginning and herby sweet during drydown. Projection is moderate-high but longevity is low. Edp: strong thick pear on a bed of marshmallows, projection moderate-high and longevity moderate.

It is, like mentioned before, a delicate and light perfume, smells something like a baby talco....Its a soft floral, rosy, very cute.. It quite projects and has a nice longevity. Reminded me a little bit of Armani Si Passione. Certainly great for Summer.

I am not normally a fan of rose scents but I don't mind this. Makes me feel like a bouquet. Not very sweet and can be a little overwhelming, but I like to wear this while I run.

I don’t know how I bought this and at one point thought it was lovely, it’s just nauseating to me. Very boring generic scent from kindergarten days. My most regrettable buy up to date.

Like @amgenus2015 mentioned, there is a weird and unpleasant note, to me its smells like a Mens body wash. Wouldn’t recommend blind buying this one if you are interested.

um... Givenchy sweetheart... we need to talk. I can’t believe 3 great perfumers working with a big house like Givenchy actually came up with this. I respect whoever likes this perfume and I’m deeply sorry for what I’m about to say. But to me, this is one of the worst rose scents I’ve smelled in my life, if not the worst. There’s something peppery and a very powdery rose trying to fight with dry, dirty musk. And that’s it, that’s the fragrance. No opening, no middle notes no base. On the other side, smells like cheap antiperspirant... you can definitely get better musky rose perfumes with that price tag.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND DO NOT BUY THIS OVERPRICED TOILET WATER, it has absolutely NOTHING related to irresistible EDP, its screechy, extremely GREEN WTF and very woody, super masculine. It's very dry, Cold and powdery, like mixing kelly caleche with n 19 poudre. Bleh. Scent is basically wood, iris and musk (booooorinnnnnnggg) rose is barely detectable. Is somehow WORSE THAN KELLY CALECHE AFTER IT TURNED AND I HAD TO THROW IT AWAY, IRRESISTIBLE EDT SMELLS RANCID AND DISGUSTING. SERIOUSLY DO NOT BUY THIS SH*T SMELLING GARBAGE!! Go for the EDP instead

made mistake. Buying edt instead edp cos it's cheaper. I just tought maybe simply different oil percentage. lo and behold. NO. different. edp: pink, milky, flowery, feminine. edt: green, unisex. cry. cry. cry. cry producer. pls. if u want to made different notes, change the name. maybe make it irresistible green or whatever.

I am obsessed with this scent! It's very fresh, feminine and sexy. It's perfect for summer. If you love sweet and sexy fragrances, please give this one a try! I think this would be perfect in Greece, visiting the Acropolis. This scent does really well in the heat. It has a similar vibe to Wonderland Peony in my opinion (Irresistible smells more mature even though it's still sexy and playful, and smells less synthetic). It's where it's a happy scent and a 'you do not have a care in the world' type of fragrance just enjoying life. I do understand that 'sour' edge that is in the reviews too, yet not as sour as Cassily by PDM - that one is very strong in the sour-but-overall-sweet sort of perfume. Without looking at the notes, I get pink florals, a bit of citrus and a slight musk like base with some sourness. The notes are not very distinct to me but I think it is a unique fragrance. I have many fragrances and heaps of samples but nothing smells like this. When I get a whiff of it when moving I think of how nice it is! Looking at the notes, you do get the freshness of the cassis, which is beautiful and summer appropriate. Iris is always beautiful and cedar is a sexy note to me. One of the most amazing fragrances in my opinion as a gourmand lover!

feminity, submission, smells cozy. this rose scent has gotten me so many compliments with people leaning into me. very romantic. a perfect everyday perfume. good perfume to wear out of the shower. to flirt not too obviously but if it leads you there, and someone takes noticeeee, take the chance ♡ i would start calling someone darling if i spelled this scent on them. love

I bought this for my wife after trying a bunch of other scents. This one works very well on her skin. We both are not usually big rose scent fans, but this one smelled very sexy. EDP version was way too sweet. Probably not blind buy worthy, but I would recommend a sample because it is blended very well. You should try it on your skin.

Very feminine and cute type of a fragrance. On Givenchy website is also mentioned white tea among top notes and yes, it is very detectable. Together with iris and black currant creates that fuzzy effect. This is top-notch designer fragrance for every occasion and season.

Just got a sample of this fragrance and it smells nothing but irresistible. Fruity, a bit sour, nothing special. It would suit a teenager. Maybe I will gift a bottle to a friend’s daughter who just turned 12.

Opens up with a strong slightly sour cassis note. The base notes are soft and only a little sour. It has lots of powdery musk in the drydown. On me musk turns masculine so I save my money this time.
