L'Interdit Burning Neroli

Burning Neroli is the boldest chapter in the L’Interdit story for me. I’ve tried and appreciated many of the flankers, but this one stands out like a flame in the dark. The original took time to grow on me it was an acquired love ... but Burning Neroli? Instant connection. It opens with that fierce burst of neroli bright, floral, and slightly citrusy but it quickly deepens into something earthier and more addictive. The patchouli and vetiver add this grounding intensity that gives the fragrance its “don’t mess with me” attitude. It’s powerful, feminine, and unforgettable. Tested it today I quite like it, it remained the OG dna without the bubble gummy headache inducing tuberose ... (sorry to the OG fans) replaced with an earthy and a bit woody dusty base~ opens with a sweet a bit candy like neroli !! A very nice opening for those who enjoy sweet scents like I do 🤣 But the base notes is where it got me 😍 I do think the base notes are quite similar with the jasmine one last year which I enjoy a lot too, but if you have already purchased that one I don’t see any real big differences in the dry down it kinda duplicated. But still please give this edition a try Update: just received my full bottle 😍

Arrived in the mail yesterday and I am smitten. I do not like the original L'Inderdit much. I do very much like L'Interdit Rouge. Burning Neroli in my opinion is very Neroli focused and I only mildly get L'Interdit DNA. Sweet but not too sweet. The patchouli is there but is not overwhelming. I really love this. It's not quite as dark as say the 1999 L'Occitane Neroli, not as strong as Au Pays Neroli Blanc Intense, and not as sweet as PDM Safanad but related to all of them and just lovely. I'd say it's a Springtime Neroli scent; it arrived at the perfect time.

This is my favourite version of L’interdit. It is so fresh, the Neroli is so pure and the sweetness of the original lingers gently through this composition. Did not love the original for its harshness, but this one won me over. Beautiful in summer heat, classy for day and night and I think year round.

I love this perfume. It’s sweet soapy neroli with a pleasant Vetiver and mild patchouli. It is a soft skin scent with little projection. I’ve been playing around with layering this with other perfumes. And it’s fantastic.

I have been wearing the sample I received and I LOVE THIS!!! I am buying this as soon as The Bay has it in Canada! If I could I would make it smokier!!! But I love it.

Beautiful smoky Neroli that opens like Guerlains' Neroli Outrenoir and settles into the original L'Interdin in a few hours. Lovely, I enjoy it a lot! 🤍

The opening is light, not very sweet. After 10 minutes it settles down and is more like the original but less sweet. The original is more of a young sweet summer morning- ripe fruits that smell like watermelon too me. The Rouge version is evening sexy sweet, This is an airy spring day, fruit blossom turning to ripe fruit scent. They are all very nice. Def get a sample and try it out.

Linterdit base and a refreshing neroli top note. It is just like linterdit with an added dose of freshness on top

Burning Neroli has a bitter neroli and grape soda/bubble gum opening that quickly evolves into a pleasant but somewhat generic designer fragrance. I like this better than the other iterations of L'Interdit, but I admit they have way more personality than Burning Neroli.

I finally had a chance to try this perfume today, and it was underwhelming. It is very similar to the original Interdit but somehow more stale, stuffy and heavy. I love neroli but here I can hardly smell it. I have last year's Nocturnal Jasmine, and that one smells incredible - like beautiful magical jasmine flowers, while this year's Burning Neroli smells like suffocating white flowers with patchouli (and I love patchouli, just not the way it's done here). Update: The dry-down on my clothes the next day is more pleasant and likeable.

I just test it out and it’s almost exactly the same as l’interdit edition millesime that I already have, I’m actually wearing both and I really can’t tell the difference, I don’t get any patchouli in this “new” version at all . It seems like a re-named the old flanker to release a new flanker faster.... Disappointing

It was a blind buy that I kinda regret because it smells a little bit like a sunscreen which I hate. It's weird to me that I can't find anyone else mentioning this.

I dont like it at all, to my sorrow, smells like cheap granddad parfym from my childhood, nauseating, something is so off putting in it

I'd love to buy this, or possibly trade for for instance l'interdit Rouge. I'm also interested in the millésime edition, since it's the same as Burning Neroli as far as I can understand. I'm in Sweden.

She is absolutely beautiful. I have Interdit EDP, Rouge and other neroli scents but this one!!? Major compliment getter. Just buy the whole line. Best flankers IMO.

No matter where, I can not find it in 2024, anywhere....
