Live Irrésistible Rosy Crush

I think I've finally found my summer scent. Bought it on sale, without any special expectations (blind buy), and I'm very very pleasantly surprised. There's nothing particularly daring or groundbreaking about it, but you can definitely tell it's a high quality perfume and it does smell very nice. It's feminine, fresh, sweet, elegant and playful. It's a very well executed rose, and it's indeed very prominent, but so are the berries and the red pepper, and it is sweet, and while these are present throughout its evolution, it's a non linear fragrance. At first, it's pretty sweet and citrusy. Very fruity sweet and it reminds me of Dior Addict 2, very young and girly and similar to many fragrances out there. It's harsh and it inundates the room. BUT... then it settles and the floral notes take over. It remains sweet, but it's a much more delicate sweet. It has a delicate vanilla. Now it's a youthful and feminine scent, not so girly anymore; beautifully sweet and spicy. I really can't stop smelling myself at this point. Now it's different and much more original. Lastly, it tones down. Now it's much more of a skin scent, musky and velvety, but very comforting and fresh at the same time. As for longevity and saillage, longevity is moderate, I can't really complain. I only wish it would project more, but then again, I would strictly wear this in the summer (maybe spring) and I'm not sure I'd like it to carry so much in the hot weather, so overall it works for me. I'm a huge fan of Very Irresistible Sensual edP, and I feel Rosy Crush is a rose-vanilla-spice combination (heart and bottom) that I can pull off during the day in hot weather I'll stick to this one, because it's just what I've been looking for in a perfume for summer. Please don't discontinue this, Givenchy! PS: I think this is a perfume in its own right and should be judged accordingly, and not as a Live Irresistible flanker.

Me and ABBA tonight: "-People need hope, people need love", and, people need Live Irrésistible Rosy Crush!! I defently wasn't there when they found up/discovered explosives and rockets (in China, I think), and so much more I missed out on; I bought this sample for more than a year ago, sniffed it and thought "no_way" (jesss, I'm from norway), it was the pepper I couldn't stand, but, now that's history .... Today I love pepper, oh-la-la, I always spices up my dinners with pepper, and I sneses a lot, but must have pepper, and this Live Irrésistible Rosy Crush really hit me hard now - in a very good way: I love it!!! It's the pepper and than comes the roses, I love roses, and then it drys down to sumeting gooodies I can't stop put my nose into, well it's def a new FAV!!!

What a beautiful fresh rose. Reminds me a little of my favorite rose dominated perfume, La Vie Est Belle en Rose, but with more citrus, and less vanilla. The citrus is strong in the beginning, and lasts throughout. With a hint of pink pepper, the citrus, and peony, make this a zesty, watery, and refreshing rose. You get a hint of sweetness from the vanilla, but not much. This is a very uplifting, pretty, and fabulous fragrance. I do not know what gojo berries smell like, but if they are in this perfume, they must smell delightful, because everything in this perfume smells delightful. Perfect for a hot summer day. Perfect daytime scent. Good for lasting. Great for making me smell beautiful.

Rosy Crush has nothing in common with Blossom Crush. Yes, it’s a blunt statement , but I purchased both and they’re very different . This is an edp. It is stronger than the Blossom edt, but still not great. Silage and lasting power are average. This is a fresh rose, slightly sweet, slightly musky. It’s not fruity, it’s quite straightforward. I got compliments for it the moment I put it on...which means others can smell it too. It’s elegant without being too mature. A cold rose, that isn’t warmed by any amber, vanilla, tonka, or sugar. Beautiful . Price ? $140 plus tax at Shoppers, for a 75 ml bottle, Recommended to rose lovers.

Very pleasant fresh floral with a dominant rose and noticeable pepper. Great for summer, dewy and cooling. Lovely bottle design, moderate to good longevity, but it could project more. It's totally worth it if you catch it on sale. This one is an EDP, so it persists better than Blossom Crush EDT, whose aroma is a bit sweeter and I like better, but unfortunately has zero lasting power.

This is beautiful! It smells like an expensive lotion - it's a very creamy rose. It reminds me of Dior's Forever and Ever in that sense. This is not a sweet/candy rose, it's a fresh, clean-smelling rose that would make for the perfect lotion or hair conditioner. It just smells clean and soft, cuddly and delicate. I love it.

Had been eyeballing this since it came out in 2019 but was too expensive then. Finally Savers sells it now at £24.95! Got me a bottle and love it smells identical to Narciso Rodriguez Le Fleur in the pink bottle which I enjoyed in 2017. Love Rose perfumes.

I love rose EDPs...This one is special in my opinion, its a modern rosy floral with some citrus and a bit of depth to it....I find it uplifting :). Givenchy makes beautiful florals and this rosy one makes any day great...amazing!!!

Tried it today and really loved it. What a sexy feminine perfume! Perfect date perfume. Aromatic rose and citrus. Wonderfully energetic. Really positively surprised with this one. Excellent projection and longevity.

I didn't like it at all. It doesn't last long and has a cheap smell, like the perfume you find in the supermarket..

Refer is for my own reference - This is a good scent for young ladies middle school- to early university. It is sweet, fruity, bright, fun, innocent, daytime. Rosy Crush is a good name for it and the juice color matches too! Reminds me of something Ralph Lauren would have put out in the 2000s. It's my favorite Live Irresisbile I have tried so far (EDT & EDT). I still haven't had a chance to try the Delicieuse flanker, which is why I bought these samples in the first place because of a woman on youtube who has a similar scent preference to me. I would love more (pink)pepper and maybe some other spices and florals! I might try layering it with Rose Elizabeth and James Nirvana to see if it makes it more sophisticated and age-appropriate. Rosy Crush plays it easy with the florals. Not all rose scents are youthful, but this sweet fruity makes it work. I think I am too old for this scent at 27. If I didn't have the perfume experience that I have now and only knew what they had a Shoppers then I would probably love this, but I now know that scents can be, and IMO should be more complex. The price is a bit high at $70 for 50ml on discount websites. I think this could be easily duped. SIllage is arms-length to 6 feet. Overall I like the scent, I think more people would love it if it wasn't so generic. I think Ariana Grande's Ari is more complex than this scent. The scent smells a bit more my age once the sweet fruits wear off. Overall I'm not impressed with the longevity, maybe 3-4hours.

I found this in the clearance at TJMAXX for $20 and I'am one happy lady for this is just a lovely Rose scent. It is a pretty enticing rose that has a modern update scent not one grandma wore more dainty yet potent. I first notice the pink pepper with a light fruity background. Now enter the lovely Rose, I feel the peony pushes it to be even prettier in scent which has a good projection. If you don't like the scent of roses then don't buy this as each stage of note change it is there, even a touch at the start. Just picture getting a lovely bouquet on Valentines and you have a good idea what this smells like with a hint of spice, and vanilla with a touch of musk at the end. Just Lovely, it lasted on me all day long and I wore it day and night. Another hit by Givenchy !! The prettiest rose scent that I own, it moves so gracefully, just so lovely!!

Givenchy- Live Irresistible Rosy Crush- sweet when first sprayed (like Tresor Midnight Rose, I like it!) then comes out a nice fresh rose spiciness. It's a 20-25 year old type of rose. The fresh sweetness of the fruit dries down very fast. A sweet rose is left over, I wish the citruses would've stayed around longer It sits close to the skin, a lot of it wears off around the 2 hour mark. 8 hours later it's there but very faint.I'd probably keep of gifted, but only if I didn't have Tresos Midnight Rose on hand, Tresor is much more stronger and longer lasting, and the sweetness of the raspberry fruit sticks around longer. Overall a nice perfume that I like, a bit weak though. Note a super unique rose though. It does not smell like Dior Blooming Bouquet or YSL mon Paris edt.

Cute, sharp light rose, not vegetal, but what you might think a small pink rose would smell like if you'd never seen one. Like a little high energy Rose, with short girl attitude. Sharp, intense, calms only slightly over time. Great for girl squad hangouts and those days when you want to go out by yourself, but do want to have a put together outfit. Loose white silk cotton blend shirt, gray wash slim jeans, classy flats, pale gold braided hoops, going to see the indie movie after an afternoon trying some little trendy boutiques and craft cocktail bar. This is the perfume you wear.

If you love rose scents, this is the one. Rosy Crush is an ultra-feminine rose-centered fragrance. It has just enough musk, too much combined with the rose I think could make it feel dated. This is not dated, it's old-school elegant. The citrus gives it a light fresh quality. Givenchy does floral scents really well. I enjoy the original Very Irresistible and have for years. I have a back up bottle. This is a very beautiful follow up to the original.

Finally, a modern rose that's not trying to be gourmand or sweet ! This is a fresh, juicy, tart fruity (almost citrusy) rose-peony made for the warm season. It's a very nice scent, but pretty quick to fade. It doesn't have much sillage either. But if you want a versatile soft floral eau de toilette-style perfume that others won't notice, it might be what you're looking for.

I really like this. Very pretty. Super fresh floral notes of rose and peony, a little bit of spiciness from the bergamot and pink pepper, and sweet berries. The base is a deep musk and patchouli blend. This is sure to be a new summer favorite.

Fresh citrusy rose with a touch of sweetness turning to a soft soapy vanilla dry down. Very pretty. Really wish it lasted longer because I really like this. Poor longevity - gone after about 1-2 hours to be completely undetectable on my skin.

Pretty pink rose, juicy and dewy, delicately spicy and citrusy. For rose lovers, it doesn't smell old fashioned as sometimes roses might do, it is more on the modern and youthful side.

You guys, if you could layer this over Dior Addict... Oh my goodness! I can’t get enough of it!

kind of cheap smelling, but it's okay

A beautiful airy rose, a hint of natural fruit sweetness, soft, easy. The fruit is not citrus, despite the listed notes. Nor likely is it goji berries. I’ve eaten them a few times, but not enough to recognize the scent, but they’re always dried and whatever fruit is in this is not dry, it’s juicy, fleshy, sweet, like mango, kiwi, possibly some assemblance of red berries. As it dries, the fruit becomes more dominant and the rose fades to the backgrond, unfortunate as its rosy domimant opening when wet made for a lovely effervescent and easy rose. This is youthful without being teenage; airy and refreshing enough to avoid any overly mature associations. But within minutes it’s flattened to a very light, barely there, almost-but-not-quite, synthetic fruit forward scent with a rose, whose retreat may as well make it imagined. I’m neither impressed nor disappointed. Let’s go to the math to put that last statement in perspective. It’s a 2019 5th generation flanker of what was called a “limited edition” of a 2003 fragrance that itself was flanked 25 times in 13 years. This tells us everything about what we’re dealing with and the management of expections. Of course, as soon as I write this we’re 20 min in and the almost-but-not-quite synthetic fruit has retreated and a very delicate, very quiet rose has appeared, a bit peony-inflected. We’re moving in a positive direction. But at 40 min there’s very little of anything left. At 2hr there is no trace of any scent. For an EDP, that’s some poor performance. At any price. To sum, smells great when you first spray it and quickly dissolves into nothing of interest or distinction. 4.0/10

The opening is the best part of this fragrance. It's a peppery rose, surrounded by the bright citruses. There is a hint of some depth (probably the vanilla and patchouli), but that disappears quite quickly and it dries down to a pretty generic citrusy rose. It's pretty, but unremarkable and disappointing, especially after a promising opening. I was quite surprised to see this is an EDP, it wears much more like an EDT. Its pretty light and airy with light sillage and moderate longevity. It lasted about 4 hours on me and stayed close to the skin most of that time. It is a fragrance the has a spring-like feel to it, though I would find it suitiable to wear anytime of year, though it feels a bit weak for winter. But the bright sunniness could be a nice pick me up on a dreary winter day. I tested this from a carded sample and won't be purchasing a full bottle. I own a couple others from this range that I like far better, the original and the Delicieuse flanker. I also own Blossom Crush and find it is almost identical to Rosy Crush. I find them so similar, you don't need one if you have the other.

I got a sample of this super cheap. I've been buying Givenchy fragrances as of late and thought I would give this a try. It's not bad but it's a little weak. Also, I still can't find a perfume w/ ambroxan in the base that doesn't give me a slight to mid-size headache. This fragrance starts off w/ a slight fresh spicy take on rose but that tames down quite a bit, and it becomes a citrus, berry, rose, peony scent. Not much depth in the dry down. I would say this fragrance lacks character and it's over all presence is rather linear and dull. It's not bad but you won't remember it either.

The patchouli in this does not work for me. It starts off as a sweet jammy rose with just a *hint* of patchouli. Fairly generic, but if it had stopped there it would have been fine. But within 10-15 minutes, the patchouli takes over and gives it a decaying roses smell. As it continues to dry down, it goes even heavier with the patchouli and ends quite spicy-woody. Not really what I want or expect from a rose frag.

Not so impressed. I'm glad I just sprung for a $2 sample instead of buying it. It's not horrible, but I have many rose scents that are superior, including some that are a third as expensive. It seems like Ropion could have come up with something better than this, given his obvious talent. I tested Montale's Intense Roses Musk earlier, and it's so much nicer on my skin, not to mention far more enduring.

Fully expecting "no balloons", I'm sorry to say, this one did horribly on my wrists. I expected roses and peony, and a bit of musk perhaps but, what I got was a mother of vanilla/ambroxan migraine inducing hell. No pink peppers, no orange, no goji... just a very, very overpowering vanilla. Waited for the drydown most of you enjoyed... Nope! Still just suffocating vanilla. Longevity was about 4 hours (and I tried everything I could think of to get this off of me). Sillage at least arm's length.

This a masculine rose to me. Ambroxan is quite strong to me. This would be great for the right personality, but not me. Too attention grabbing, spicy, carnal. If anyone wants to swap for this, message me.

It is not something I would wear. A very dark, strong and "old" rose fragrance. Not fresh and youthful at all. Quite suffocating to be honest.

Sadly, a scrubber for me. Too pink plasticy smell.

First spritz, you get a strong rose smell, not too sweet. Afterwards the musk settles in. These two come together to make a mature rose smell, not the candy rose you often get but more of a deep, almost resinous rose. At times the musk was a bit overwhelming, it's not a dry musk smell but more syrupy and not very pleasant, but this is only happened on a whiff or two. Overall I think these are well blended together. Visualize a big bouquet of deep red rosed and this is what it smells like. Longevity is good: I put it on before work and could still smell it 8 hours later at the end of the day, softer obviously but present. Sillage is also pretty good: doesn't fill a room, but you catch yourself noticing it out of nowhere even multiple hours in. This is a simple pleasant perfume that performs. Not a fantastical beast, but would do great as a daily evening perfume or for a date. Excellent floral if you're not a gourmand.

I had a skin test a month or more back, I didnt think much of this though on reading it I thought I would. i find this citrus heavy, it felt light woody almost too, and a bit sour/blunt in a soft way. As if it had the pithy rind from citrus, beachy wood, and a semi dry floral aspect.. all of that is fine but not what i expected. This went a bit dry on skin also. It has nothing to do comparison wise with narciso fleur -to me (I have fleur), and also the comparison to estee lauder modern muse might have been rouge?? Not to me. I will re test this but I'm not paying the prices I've seen it if I think only 'meh' The blossom crush is not the same or similar to this by the way. Rosy crush is not seemingly related to the irresistible line with the sweet gorgeous floral ect ect. It's different.

I got a sample of it at a Sephora, was getting some skincare for a trip, and they handed me a sample. In a hot pink bottle. Oh come on, Givenchy — why not throw in a pink bow and some sparkles, then? Givenchy used to make interesting things, but this is just the lest exciting, typical mass market perfume I can think of. It is not bad per se — it is great if your are looking for an accessible floral in a cute bottle with a famous brand. I just wouldn’f call it very sophisticated — but not everything has to be. It has its time and place — if you are in the U.S. and get one in on one of those 5x points perfume events, it will make a nice gift for yourself or others (I would imagine many a younger woman would be delighted). Decent projection, but very low longevity.

I love the EDT - still contemplating getting it. In the meantime this was an impulse buy, this is actually very similar to Mancera Musky Garden to me, which I LOVE...it is a bit sharper from the goji berries + pink pepper vs the cranberries + fuzzy peach in Musky Garden, but still a well crafted Ropion creation. Actually really pleased - a nice scent to throw on for chores or work, best for warmer weather, still going strong 4 hours after I sprayed it on, seems to be fading a bit on skin now, lasts better on clothes. Not bad at all for £25 EDIT: I wore this to work out in and WOW the heat in the room really made this scent bloom

This is too musky and 'perfumey' smelling to me, especially the opening. Smells like a lot of strong chemicals initially and I'm assuming that's the ambroxan coming through. It takes it about twenty minutes to settle down and then the musk, rose and peony come through and I don't like the combination. If this had something sweet in it like vanilla or marshmallow or maybe even a white flower like gardenia I would like it much more. One thing this fragrance has made me realize is that I don't like peony or musk, at least not when they're both as obvious as in this scent.

Its def got the Rose. Some "rose" scents you cant smell it much even if its supposed to be a main note. Its not a wet garden rose but a sweet rose. I think its the berries mixing with it. I dont get that its anything like KKs Fleur Fatale, which was medicinal & gross to me. It is to date the only rose scent i've ever hated. This perfume is very pretty. It doesnt seem to have much sillage since I have to put my nose to it to smell it on me. It is pretty, upbeat & will give you the rose fix if thats what you are looking for.

I was pleasantly surprised by this pretty scent ! It smells great, kind of a creamy floral, a bit juicy, very nicely done., yet with a grown up vibe..Ropion can make real pretty scents..it isn't complex., but it made me think of a spring garden.....lovely ! And nice longevity...probably my favorite in the line..a flanker that deserves to be known !! It remains fresh throughout and I didn't detect much of the patchouli in the base.

Nice, sweet, fruity, juicy, tart, rose peony. Pretty good quality, no synthetics, quite the crowd pleaser scent. Very young and feels pink. Lots of vanilla, could be a nice cheaper alternative rose floral to Delina.

Nice, classy, peppery, musky, sour patchouli-y. Super elegant for work, lasts all day long, projects for a few hours, not intrusive.

Is it only me who find resemblance with Miss Dior Cherie a little bit ?)
