Monsieur 2 Givenchy

One of the most beautiful and freshest green fragrances ever especially made for men. Absolute heaven. This smells exactly like it should--all rich greens, with a few spices and woods buried below to give it texture. It doesn't smell artificial to me at all. This has very little to do with the original Monsieur de Givenchy that I can detect (perhaps only in its basic structure?), so it's not at all a surprise this didn't sell well under its original name. Supposedly Givenchy later re-marketed it as "Greenergy" (perhaps an even worse name), but I'm not sure whether they changed the formula when they did so. You could wear this in any season, day or night. It's like being in a beautiful, dense, deciduous forest glade.

I wore this in middle and high school (yes) and I've still never smelled anything like it. I would describe it as a green fragrance with some oriental notes. It has a sweet incense accord that balances the green notes. I remember buying a few bottles at Burlington Coat Factory in 94 and I wore it alot along with Lagerfeld and Chanel Pour Monsieur Concentrée for the next 3-4 years. Good times.

One of the most incredibly intoxicating fresh green scents I’ve ever smelled. I own a bottle that has not survived well. Also have the aftershave & Greenergy which is close, but quite the same unfortunately. I really wish Givenchy would re-release the original again.

Have had this in my collection for approximately 4 years and today I sprayed a little before bed. Smells really nice! I like it and if you take a look at my top favorite scents its a far cry from any of those. Smells very fresh n green. T
