Pi Neo Tropical Paradise

The tart opening of Bergamot & Grapefruit, with a Green note of Palm Leaf & Fig Leaf, almost...almost, mimics the opening of Creeds Virgin Island Water with its Lime & Coconut opening. It's very refreshing, & this opening then meets a phantom note of Pepper that adds a bit of Spice. The notes of Sea Water & Driftwood then work to create a very authentic Sea shore-like nuance. While the Cedar adds a Woody Creaminess. In a nutshell Pi Neo Tropical Paradise smells like someone mixed the Opening of Creed's Virgin Island Water with Chanel's Allure Homme Edition Blanche & added Marine notes. Its a beautiful fragrance for Hot & Humid days. Which is when I find that it performs its best. Sadly this fragrance was discontinued years ago. ... but for the price its being sold for on Ebay today. You can either just buy Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche, or save your money up & buy Creed Virgin Island Water.

Well i recently got this cologne and I have already used quite a bit of it. Spending time with this cologne was a great experience. However I will not be purchasing another bottle. Don't getme wrong, the scent is amazing from top to bottom. Very tropical and invigorating. The thing this cologne lacks in is longevity. It lasts prob 2-3 hours max and I have fairly oily skin. Some get 8 hours which I am jealous of because it is a magnificent scent. It needs better longevity, projection and sillage. I also live in a fairly warm/hot place. Its something new and out of left field from Givenchy. Rating: Longevity: 4/10 (2-4 hours tops) Projection: 3/10 (projects well for first hour then becomes fairly weak and skin scent) Smell: 9/10 (Love the smell) Overall: 5/10

This work of art starts with a blast of acidic bergamot and, sweet and bitter grapefruit. Typical for a summer flanker, but DO NOT be fooled. These genius generic top notes are mearly a sarcastic-al blanket to cover the intense intrest that lies beneath! As far as the middle is concerned i don't get much in terms of fig leaf, perhaps it's that green amber-esque charred smell. The palm leaf note adds a very vegetal snappy fleshy genuine plant aroma. In the base we have a deep, murky salt water (aroma?...no) essence. My nose SWEARS there is benzoin crystals in there giving it a sweet mysterious depth and strength. I approve! (not your typical summer flanker.) Smell: 9 Longevity: 10 Sillage: 9

Pi Neo Tropical Paradise is a master piece from Givenchy. Wonderful fragrance. This smells awesome. It has catchy smell & it will definitely attract everyone next to u. It reminds me Paco Rabanne Ultraviolet for men, But not exactly same. Projection is very good for 3 hrs. Longevity 4 to 5 hrs, then gets close to skin. Compliments guaranteed. One must own this one in their collection. Fantastic job by Givenchy. I Love it. I give 10/10.

I remember testing this in a store in 2011, during a summer vacation to the sea. The opening was so good,but didn’t last at all. I would love to smell this again just to see if I get hit with any nostalgia,I was a kid back then and it was a great carefree vacation 😆

The longevity of the original Pi is very good on my skin. This version is highly recommended for summer days. We can catch the tropical elements in it, but the longevity is poor... such a pity!

I have never written a review here and I am far from being an expert in fragrances, but here goes. I am not a man who generally wears a fragrance, but I am dating someone who loves them so I have been trying to find a couple that I really like. I wanted one that would be lighter and summery and a second one a bit spicier. I went to Macy's and sprayed a number of different products on cards. I guess I don't care for many of the aqua scents and I wanted something a bit fruitier and clean. I liked this one enough that I came back the next day and sprayed some on my wrist. It haunted me for a week so I went back again and tried it again and then shopped for a couple of hours. That was it. I had to buy this one and it will be my signature summer scent. Fruity and a bit floral to my nose and maybe just a bit of wood somewhere in there. Not overpowering, just a nice summer scent for me and it lasted all day at work too. A vigorous and alive scent. Update: The more I wear this the more I like it. Lasts about 5-6 hours which I think is pretty good for a summer scent. Wonder why more people don't comment on this one. Truly a gem. A bit floral/fruity, nice and clean for the summer. I agree with Detroitcologner. I will be buying more of this so I don't run out. Brilliant for me.

Another wonder from Givenchy! It was a blind purchase, based only on the notes I saw at fragrantica.com and on the confidence, I have in this brand. Of course, as if it could not be different, I have absolutely no regrets! What made me caught in an instant was the fig leaf note. I adore colognes that have fig and I blame myself all the time for had forwarded a Good Life (Davidoff), which I think is wonderful and has a precious fig note. Pi Neo Tropical Paradise is really very tropical and perfect for hot days. Fact! It opens with “burned-out” fruity notes and remains like this for a while when it starts to settle down on the skin and shows the notes that will stay with you for the rest of its evolution. Special feature for the fig and palm leaves and for its base, which presents driftwood. The bottle is beautiful and heavy. The fragrance is sexy, soft and stays a long time, despite the low projection on my skin. Once again, Givenchy rocks!!

My second review, or comment on this... Of all the flankers out there, I wonder why this is not more available? Still, the only place I can find this is at Macy's and it is even pretty hard to find online. I have had a brief and intense education in fragrances and will bow to anyone's advanced expertise, but to my nose this one is brilliant. Much better than most of the other Givenchy scents for men that I have smelled. Seriously, you should search this one out and test it for yourself. The good news for me is that NOBODY wears this and when it goes on close out special, I will buy all I can afford.

*First review* Twin brother of 'Pi Neo'. Another good perfume for everyday use. No more, no less. Refreshing? No. Pleasant? Yes. As I had already bought the 'Pi Neo', I felt somehow - cheated. Did I feel the famous palm leaf scent? No. Fig aroma? No. Is it aquatic? No. What I clearly feel is a very smooth and comfortable vanilla & some wood. At the moment I consider it an *aromatic woody*. The longevity is good: 8-9hs. UPD: it should be called 'Pi Neo II' or, perhaps, 'Pi Neo Summer Edition'. Only the base notes are aquatic.

Enjoyable, but boring at the same time...good for office maybe. Not worth the $...smells like watery sun-tan lotion. Never got a compliment, and I bathe in colognes, lol and always get feedback(good/bad) on my scents. Fades exceedingly fast. The fun paradise-esque setting on the box and bright blue bottle's probably what lead to my blind-buy of this. You don't need it.

Picked this one today after spraying at the store then went shopping at the supermarket. The opening was pretty much the best I've ever felt from my very limited perfume experience. Went back and bought the bottle which, fortunately, was tagged with some hefty discount - seems the seller thought I wasnt that rich.

This fragrance open very similar a Yves Saint Laurent L'homme, i have boths in my hand. but l'homme a bit spicy. Dry down Pi neo Tropical more fresh and L'homme more sweet

As mentioned numerous times, it's very weak. Another blind buy collecting dust. Bergamotto Marino is in the same class but much stronger and a better overall value.

when I test this cologne for first time, I thought I smelt a fresh bergamot and I felt cool. Has a good longevity and good for HOT regions.

Refreshing perfume but very poor performance, wasted my 4.5k INR on this. Juice is invincible to myself within an hour, got no compliments ever from anyone after wearing this. Overall Rating : 3/10. Sillage : 2/10 Long Lasting : 2/10 Regards

A good outdoor daytime fresh everday scent. Not a beast, but more suitable for those who do not like frags with above moderate sillage. Lil overpriced but I will not buy it again, there are better performers for the same price.

I have to admit, I bought this because I wanted a summer fragrance, it was on sale and because someone on Youtube mentioned it would be great. which it is, but unfortunately, for only a couple of minutes. It does take you on some paradise tropical island, but only for a couple of seconds...

So a couple of you said that I was not specific enough on this one in a few private messages. I went to the mall again to try it on my skin and I am even more in love with it. I bear the burden of being the lone ranger reviewer so far and I hope that the masses don’t disagree. Nonetheless, here goes This cologne is a gentle giant of a fragrance. The initial spray is robust and full of a mellow, sweet distinctly pure fruity cleanness. When I say citrus, I mean fresh citrus. Not as in soapy or sharp but as in recently done and not synthetic in nature! It is so vibrant but not overpowering. Surprisingly though, it is so relevantly PRESENT and distinguished in elements around you to be the opposite of inauspicious. I don’t see this as being a silage monster but I am assuming that it will encourage people to break the 5 foot rule and step into your space without invite. Its complex enough to stand out but not just for the sake of being cumbersome and I think that it could easily be unisex. After retrying this, I am even more in love with it. I think it was well thought out and charming. If this one is going away any time soon I will be buying in bulk. As for the question of it following any of its Givenchy predecessors, I don’t see it. I have passionately disliked the previous Givenchy’s including Play and Pie. This one could almost be counted as a departure for Givenchy but in the best direction possible. I hope that everyone goes out there and tries this one soon as I am eager to see if I missed the mark here.I went to Macys to try it. Go go go and test it.

What a pleasant, hidden gem for those who search for fresh, marine perfumes!! At first, I must say that I am really surprised and somehow disturbed by a short and sharp citric opening that initiates the dynamic of the fragrance. However, the tone and the rhythm of this scent is centered on the exquisite presence of palm leaves and the resemblance of green coconut aroma, both brought in wind gusts, caressing my face and my hair. I can also perceive the smell of fig leaf and some slight sweetness it conveys. But now and again, the combination of driftwood, cedar and marine accords transports me to a healing walk on the beach, at a summer night, my feet touching the wet sand and the all prevailing smell of the sea foam that rises and invades my lungs every time a new wave comes. Projection and longevity are weak, I cannot deny, as some pleasurable moments in life, they dissipate like a faint breeze. The shape and color of the bottle are graceful and outstanding, and I just feel sad to realize that this perfume was not properly disclosed in its unique beauty, but as another "flanker of the flanker dude". :-/

An ultimately underwhelming fresh leafy green scent with mild tropical hints via the palm leaf. Crisp, and nice enough in a refreshing, clean kind of way, with maybe a touch of some coconut-like sun tan lotion accord among the greens, but otherwise lacking in character and distinction. This one’s kind of boring in the end, as it doesn’t present very much that’s memorable, and considering what it’s going for on eBay now (upwards of $150), I’d say it’s not worth it. Wish I saved my bottle though! Final rating 7/10, but lower if placed in the context of today’s prices. For the same price today you could get a bottle of James Heeley Coccobello and you would be much, much better off.

I have had this on my eBay saved searches for what seems like an eternity and everytime it came back with nothing...then late Sunday...there it was in all its 'buy it now' glory. I took probably nanoseconds to make it mine. This is rare to impossible to find in the UK and judging by K1 (the king of reviewers) take on it this was a keeper. Firstly,the bottle is so much better in real life than in the photos. Secondly,the scent is fantastic. Its like the original went on holiday,had a few cocktails and danced the night away to a samba band.

For whatever reason, ALL Givenchy colognes smell like fragranced lotion to me. This cologne though is MARVELOUS!!! Honestly, I don’t know if I could pull it off it smells so good. They did a great job with this cologne! I am so NOT Givenchy fan but this one redeemed them in my eyes. I was shocked at the dry down of this one. Really quite fantastic. Its delicious. Underneath it though it smells a little bit like Issey Miyake for women but this is not an androgynous fragrance. Its masculine! I think that I will buy it one day.

Reporting this from Macys via a mobile phone; the sales person is not very happy with me right now, so I have to quickly leave the department before she tears my head off. LOL As far as the scent goes, I spent only a short time with this; sigh! Anyway, this Pi Neo Paradise is just like the original Pi Neo but add some subtle leafy green, warm and fresh fig with something smells like coconut to me but very subtle. It's still fresh and sweet scent and now with a touch of creaminess. One of the best choices from Givenchy.

Awesome. Man this stuff was incredible and under appreciated at its original release under a special edition. How the hell this wasn’t a main summer release every year until this day. I received compliments from the young, mature and elderly women all the time. One of the best fig leaf,palm, and citrus blends ever . I guarentee this blows any summer scent out of the water even In 2019. Highly underrated

nice scent even if it is a bit bland and close to the skin. I get mostly marine notes, fig leaf and white palm wood. Longevity and projection are ok for a designer fragrance. I've worn it a few times and had at least one person ask about it, they said it smells like tobacco lol! They were probably a chain smoker so everything smells like tobacco to them...

I turned ambivolent towards this one. I dont know why though. It could be that its such a tropical scent and there's nothing tropical in Michigan. It does smell fantastic though AND ladies seem to love the smell of it.I am wearing it today and i like it. I still dont know why i am not in love with it. we shall see though.

it's really like if u walk in Tropical forests! fresh/leafy frag! very nice one in my (blind purchase) collections!!!! Really like it. suit all year seasons EXCEPT winter. longevity 8/10 sillage 8/10

Bergamot and fig leaf. It's good but very weak. Was a blind buy and I think I had high expectations but I'm kinda disappointed.

When dries down this EDT smells like toffee..
