Sans Merci

Your whisky spilled on your leather jacket. Leans masculine still unisex. Prefer smelling this on men, so sexy. Very boozy at the beginning, afterwards more patchouli and vetiver came out. The whisky accord lasts longer on fabric/paper than my skin. I think this fragrance is the best among the collection.

This smells amazing! Oooh wee! I just got me a full bottle of this jam! And I'll be smelling delicious 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾--I get a scent that is green, aromatic and woody; slightly dirty like a patchouli or something. This fragrance is se-xy! Its at select neiman marcus stores in the U.S.

Sans Merci is lusciously boozy and fruity, while maintaining the composure and elegance expected from a luxury designer line. Its silky sweet whiskey patchouli, blended with the fruitier aspects of davana, i sense mainly plum and some dark berries, drying down to a long lasting sweet ambery vetiver base. The hues of the fragrance oscillate between golden brown, green, and plum purple. Quality and performance are high and its absolutely worth trying if you enjoy the likes of Plum Japonais, Baraonda, Side Effect etc.

This has a particular type of fake oud that I don't care for.

One of the most realistic whiskey openings with a flourish of spicy patchouli underneath. Hot woods and an overdoseeee of aroma chemicals similar to what you find in an Initio. Sillage is very big, longevity is all day. Not for fragrance fans looking for subtleties. If you like scents like Smoking Hot by Kilian or Narcotic Delight, this is in your zone. There isn't much out there about Givenchy's La Collection Particulière, which so far, is a shame. Of the several I've tried, they are well blended, unique, and deserving of a little love. Sans Merci was the one that grabbed me the quickest. The first hit like a smoked apple whiskey cocktail. When I say whiskey, I don't mean "honeyed and sticky." I mean you can almost feel the burn of it in your throat similar to taking a shot of it. I verbally said "whew," after I sniffed. It was in a good way. It's like your third drink in. Each breath it pours into your veins and haves you coming back to get more. The apple slice gives way to a toasted vanilla and the davana note listed. Again, the same way you would get your nose on a rare bottle you had to get on the waiting list for, and greedily opened knowing you were one of the few to be able to do so. Vetiver is listed as a note, but in no way familiar to me. It was to be in an earthier, muddled form fused with some kind of woodiness. A creamy and leathery glide down. Whoever smells like this doesn't care about the notifications on their phone. They are present and listening. It feels special and rare. Like the $100 a shot whiskey you only get on New Years. You end up in the corner, overlooking the night with someone and you feel safe and intimate with, despite the other 50 people on the rooftop. Someone interrupts you for the countdown, the magic breaks and you exhale, and feel like you were floating over the edge before. You are still wearing his jacket. That means you'll meet again...
