Kyoto in Bloom

I love this scent! It is beautiful and sophisticated. Whilst you can tell that it is designed to be unisex it is far more feminine than masculine. The lotus really shines for me. My critique would be that the top notes don't last for very long but the middle and bottom notes last forever! which is why I lowered my vote for the longevity. If you are looking for these top notes to last then unfortunately this wont hit the mark for you. It isn't an assault on the nose despite the strength, I've received lovely compliments when wearing this scent. Overall a 10/10 <3

I haven't seen anyone mention this but as soon as I smell this fragrance i'm immediately hit with the scent of shea butter. I absolutely love it. This fragrance smells so unique but at the same time non-offensive/pleasant to others. It smells like a hug sunshine!

This is what I WANTED Bade'e Al Oud Honor and Glory to smell like. It's like a really warm gentle comforting cuddle. It's intimate and and kind and transports you back in time to a softer place.

This is a gorgeous scent. I'm not a lover of floral scents, but this has converted me. I wish I could find something similar to this.

The comments I've gotten on this perfume are interesting... I quite like it but it smells very differently on me than it does when you sniff it from the bottle. For me, when you sniff from the bottle, you can really smell the citrus and pineapple notes which make it seem like a light, fresh scent. But when I wear it, I've been told I smell like I've been baking Christmas cookies all day. I take no offense to that but it's interesting. Upon an initial spritz, I can smell the whipped cream (more vanilla-y?) and pineapple but not much citrus. I feel the fresher scent fades away almost instantly on me. I probably won't buy it again but it's interesting! :3

I'm so happy that Fragrantica had finally added Glasshouse to its database!! Been waiting years! Anyhow! Kyoto in Bloom is a lovely fresh scent and smells exactly like the candle. The only problem I have is that the sillage is very poor and only lasts maybe and hour, it leaves a trail but not for long. Although its a Unisex Fragrance, Its definitely more feminine than masculine. Overall its still a lovely smelling frag and I give it a 8/10!

it's a good warm, sweet, friendly scent. smells identical to the candle (as it should), but nothing screams out to me in this fragrance. 100% more feminine leaning, probably due to the florals. a good cheap buy that smells more expensive and should exceed your expectations for the price point lasts about 3 - 5 hours projects normally 5/10

I don't get any of the top notes but the dry down or what i'm left with is a woody floral with a vanilla base. It isn't the most unique fragrance profile but it is enough to be 1 of their 2 signature candle fragrances if you cannot do tahaar affair which is very potent vanilla caramel.

It's ok but it doesn't blow me away. There's a note in there, maybe the pineapple, which smells a bit synthetic and plastic on my skin the way coconut sometimes does. It's not terrible, but I can't ignore it. Although the smell is not dated it does have a classic designer female fragrance vibe. It feels very familiar but I'm not sure what to. Sillage and listing power are good. I would recommend it if it meshes well with your skin chemistry and vibe. I wonder if I would prefer it in cooler weather?

hey Kyoto, summer skin test. i love the initial spray, i thought im getting an oriental with a heavier base feel overall. this scent has now gone a bit plain and flat. I mainly get a sweet, vanilla, bit of lotus making for the wet floral feel, and powdery edges - i dont get any patchouli or woods and the lesser accords, not yet anyway. its familiar, it might have a bit of a taaha affair in it - the middle if that makes sense. will report more later

This is a safe fragrance, it isn’t anything to gush about and it isn’t bad by any means. It’s just a bit predictable, it’s a powdery vanilla with a hint of citrus to it. It has ok longevity of around 4hours and it would be a great signature scent for someone that doesn’t want something too loud.

Very citrus-woody fragrance, feels very masculine. Doesn’t last very long, 2 hours tops if I’m being kind.

This one just doesn’t make sense to me. Maybe it’s my skin but there does not feel well blended and it smells like it’s fighting with itself for too more space. Not a fan.

This perfume is distinct, strong and draws your attention quick. It can potentially be overbearing for sensitive noses, however it is still a mature and classy smell. A little fun fact, the owner of Glasshouse (or potentially some form of higher up) moved over to Dusk, bringing this scent alongside them in the form of Tokyo. I'm not too sure how they have gotten away with it with the same notes and extremely similar names, however if you enjoy this smell but can't afford, Dusk has the option of Tokyo as a perfume and it's cheaper. Same exact smell.

This is a really nostalgic scent for me. Brings back intense memories of the ex gf that had her stuff together before I did. Classic right place, wrong time trope. As a man I think the best testament I can lay for this perfume is that it’ll make an lasting impression on everyone and will refresh the clock of longing by any ex. That’s what this is, a heartbreak by sonic boom. You don’t know what beauty flew past you until it’s scent trail hits you.. 3

Just tested this and it's officially the worst fragrance I've ever smelled.The promise of a serene, floral Kyoto garden is a complete lie. All I get is a loud, synthetic, and cheap vanilla cooking essence. It's linear, cloying, and utterly artificial. Had to scrub it off immediately. A truly terrible scent

This is my boyfriend’s new scent! Smells very warm and sweet on him. It also projects nicely, not too much or too little. From the bottle, however, much easier to detect the citrus notes and a lot more airy. He feels it leans into caramel and amber territory but we both agree it’s yummy.

The iris really comes thru in this after the fruity top notes fade..I like it but I have similar perfumes ..none of remind me section makes sense to me because on me it is much more similar to kenzo amour and miller Harris violet ida

Now this is special!!! Yummmy sweet vanilla scent with good silage and performance!!!! Would buy a full size if I can find on sale.
