Looking at the notes you'd never expect this sillage and intensity! WOW! My tiny bottle just arrived and it's really just the 3 notes (wearing it now for 3 hrs). Neither of the notes are overdone and for me it's the perfect scent for summer: it's fitting for parties, during the day, for a date,for a city spread; it's likeable for kids, for men, for women. I can't really imagine anyone to find critic in this: children will love this for the sweet and fruit (it's cuddly), women because it's cute and playful but at the same time sophisticated and attractive. Men because it's distinct floral and fruity, but not childish and neither is it a sugar-syrup, plasticky mess.And it has a load of vanilla-bourbon :) This seems only be made of high-ingredients! I'm in no way a fruity-floral or floral girl, but this is such an underrated one! Wouldn't call it floriental, rather a mature fruity floral gourmand. Really mature. Thanks Gloria! But why discontinue?

I finally found this on eBay......in Portugal! It took a while to get to me, but it was well worth the wait. YUMMY is the best way I can describe it. I will wear it on special occasions so that my little bottle will be with me for as long as possible.

I picked up a 2003 bottle from Ebay for a good price. I am really into finding vintage gems at the moment, and slowing down on niche and indie. I bought this because it had the exact 3 notes listed that I was looking for - Peach, Tuberose, Vanilla. The tuberose is very soft in this, nothing bubble gum or strong overpowering or indolic. This fragrance smells like a powdery peach with some vanilla. Overall it is pretty and easy to wear, but also nothing that is blowing my mind either. I do like it though, but I wish it performed just a bit better. This could be my exact bottle though, it's hard to say. I also own a bottle JPG Fragile, which shows up first in the "Reminds Me Of" section. And they really smell nothing alike to me. Fragile has a kind of nail polish scent in it - I actually enjoy that fragrance too, but the other all effect is very different, even though they may share some notes. This is much softer. If you enjoy softer powdery fragrances and like the notes listed, this is well worth checking out if you can get for a good price. I am happy to have paid about $15 for 50ml.

I bagged myself a couple of small bottles of this beauty from eBay for not a lot of money a while back and I’ve just gotten around to trying it. I like this fragrance very much. I’d describe it as a ‘lady’s’ scent though it doesn’t smell old fashioned or ‘grandma-ish’. Fatale, for me, is a delightful, classy scent that I’d wear day and night but I do think it works better in autumn and winter.

Vanderbilt fatale is a unique fragrance which makes you fell sexy and confident through the day. I'll never understand why they discontinued this gorgeous scent, so perfectly balanced.It used to be my signature fragrance for a few years. Now I really miss it , I'm hoping they'll bring it back( I just miss that tuberose-vanilla- peachy mix so much)!
