I purchased this perfume during a trip to the beautiful village of Portovenere where the brand's only physical store is based. Their creations are handcrafted and of high quality, in 20% EDP concentration, created trying as much as possible to use natural elements, and by smelling them, one realizes it. This Perfume, from the series dedicated to the area's beaches, is inspired by that of Guvano, a notorious destination for naturists who in that wild corner of Liguria can enjoy the sea and the coast without modesty. The opening reveals a green fig with dark, bitter tones, mixed with woody scents reminiscent of leaves and olive wood, as well as the characteristic smell of logs washed ashore by the waves. In the scent there is no reminiscence of the fruit of the fig tree, but rather the essence of these trees perched on cliffs overlooking the sea, whose thick sunburned leaves are encrusted with saltiness. In the slow evolution, a fresh, bright, dry sandalwood emerges, perfectly blending with the woody hints of the opening and giving this creation an elegant, timeless connotation, made all the more pleasant in the dry-down phase by the appearance of a white musk that smells clean, not at all chemical or soapy. Spring and summer scent, fresh, Distinct, but also free and wild, unisex in character but showing a decidedly masculine side. Good projection especially in the first hour during opening; Beautiful evolution and more than acceptable duration. Amazing value for money. " ...pleasure is a sin, but sin is a pleasure."

Came across this about six years ago. I think the info is wrong since I first bought this in 2010 in 5 Terre, I'm pretty sure it wasn't launched in 2015. A great fig, one of the best I own and I really love fig perfume. Perfect for day or evening in summer and autumn. The sandalwood makes it so that it isn't too sweet, there is a subtle coconut note but the Galbanum and musk seem to tie it down so it doesn't go out of control and become too sweet like many Fig scents (Diptyque). I always get many compliments when I wear this and it is one of my more unusual signature scents. Sensual but fresh and very wearable.

I stumbled on this little shop while I was in Portovenere. I loved the theme of how each perfume represented a different part of the area. I love fig fragrances and this is one of my favorites. Its a very uplifting scent and always puts a smile on my face. The only problem is that the store won't ship and so you have to go there and purchase it

This scent reminds me of our stay in Cinque Terre. Named after Guvano naturist beach, the main components (figue and white musk) are pleasant and easy to wear all day. The sweetness of figue complements the richness of musk very well. For me, it is a very summery fragrance.
