Dauphine

The first spritz is a puff of almond that fades as it quickly transforms. Then I get baked treats and confections (although it's never too sweet), rose-scented powder, and luxurious soap. If this scent was a color, it would be white - it's clean, sophisticated, complex, and pretty - all at the same time. So as much as I love sweet, dessert-y gourmands, this isn't syrupy or heavy or cheap or simple. Instead, it's a cross between a gourmand and a clean fragrance - but not clean in a fresh or detergent sense. Instead, it is like finely milled soap, makeup, and treats from a fine bakery all rolled into one. I really love this and think I need a full bottle. It's different enough from a bunch of the Turkish delight scents and super powdery scents that I own, but there is also a nod to them.

This is my favorite post-shower bedtime scent. Nutty and sweet, almost baby-powder-like, this smells like a good dream to me. I totally get the Marie Antoinette vibe they were going for.

A creamy ripe rose fragrance with a almond forward opening. Warm, comforting, not too sweet, but still very feminine. Enjoyable if you love marzipan!

This is my baby. Maybe my favorite fragrance of all time. She's sooo pretty, delicate, and youthful. It's fresh rosewater scented cream puffs.

First off, it's cheaper per ounce to buy their $7 1.5ml samples than it is to buy their $34 5ml flacon. I didn't realize it til the (tiny) flacon came in. Now I feel ripped off to hell. It's not like the bottles are anything special! Don't make my mistake. just buy like 4 sample bottles and you'll be good lol. Anyway, this is a nice cozy fragrance that still feels light. Straight almond extract at first, but turns into a fluffy musk with candied rose. Reminds me of the almond room fragrance by Laduree. Absolutely no scent throw-- gotta get way up in there to smell it. But it's lovely. Perfect for a casual summer date night.

I HATE sweet scents but this one surprised me! It's not syrupy or cloying , it's a nice clean sweet slight powdery almond smell. I really like this but it just poofed on me within an hour on my wrist and i never detected it on my neck despite spraying the sampler twice on me. Shame. If anyone knows of a similar scent that has decent sillage/longevity please inform me. I will update this review if I have any further success with longevity

It's OK. Not FBW, but worth a sniff. I like almond and Musk...and of course whipped cream.... I do not like this rose scent at all. It ruins it for me. I am hating the dry down.

A lovely little pastel puff of a fragrance. Opens with a somewhat sharp almond extract note, bordering on cherry - it can pull a tiny bit sour/acrid on my skin when closely smelled, but only lasts for a few short minutes. Dauphine then dries down to a gentler rosy white musk with a confectionary tint; a dusting of powdered sugar and a dollop of cream. It rests here until it slowly fades away to become a faint, clean skin scent. This is one of my go-to’s in the summer... performs beautifully in the heat and is great when you want a whisper of a fragrance. It's such a treat to immerse yourself in a cloud of this.

opening is almond cookies and cloyingly sweet roses....the dry down is infinitely more pleasant with a touch of soapiness which i like!! definitely not the scent for me although i could see this working on someone equally sweet.
