Pacific Rock Flower

I would categorise this as a pleasant evolution of the Pacific Ross DNA, the OG was mainly Lemon, Moss, some Woods and a saltiness in the back; Pacific Rock Flower definitely has the DNA of the OG, but instead, it has a stronger salt accord and as the name suggests, it adds some smooth clean florals. What I mainly get up front is Peony and Tuberose, there are other floral notes, but I can't quite pick them out individually, still its beautiful nonetheless, definitely feels like Pacific Rock Moss if it was balanced out more evenly, with the addition of florals, is it redundant to own both?, I'd personally say no, it isn't, but if you're not a big fan of the DNA then it might be. Just like its predecessor, it's a perfect fragrance for Summer and Spring, it really gives off the vibe of being by the Rocky Coast down here in Australia, only having an added flower field by your side as you take in the smell of the ocean. I get medium projection but more on the stronger side, in terms of longevity it surprisingly lasted around 9-10 hours on me. While the original was my no means an entirely masculine fragrance, I do feel like it kind of leant that way to an extent, however this rounds it more feminine on the spectrum, putting it dead in the middle for unisex in my opinion. Overall I'd say not only is it one of the better Goldfield and Bank's fragrances, I'd say it's arguably top 3 maybe top 5, definitely worth a try. Excellent release, 8.7/10 for me

A fresh breath of sea air while on a beach surrounded by eucalyptus trees and driftwood. That’s the vibe I get from smelling Pacific Rock Flower! I think it’s supposed to be feminine version of one of their bestsellers, Pacific Rock Moss, and it leans feminine, but not overly. For me, the florals listed above are not prominent at all in here, I get mainly salt, lemon, eucalyptus and soft woods. No patchouli either. I think Pacific Rock Flower is a step up from the something classic like a Light Blue because it’s more complex, more nuanced and more interesting. It’s fresh and salty, citrusy and aromatic, woody and lightly floral. It’s an atypical fragrance for women and I love that because it doesn’t smell like fifty other perfumes I already have. But it’s very pleasant and wearable. Moderate sillage but good longevity on clothing, it’s really clinging to fabrics for hours on, and perfectly suited for hot weather in the summer months! I think it shines best in scorching hot weather thanks to its salty, fresh, coastal accent! Edit 29/01/2026: I have tried it side by side with Pacific Rock Moss, which I have a sample of, and I very much prefer Pacific Rock Flower out of these two. I believe that PRF is the feminine scent while PRM is the masculine counterpart of this Australian coastal DNA.

I lived in the Fiji Islands for about four years, and now I’m based in Japan. When I first smelled this fragrance, it instantly brought to mind the beaches of the Pacific Ocean. It has a scent reminiscent of flowers blooming on moss, blended with soft coconut, and grounded by a woody base that’s light but not too light. There’s also a fresh citrus like touch in there. One thing to keep in mind before buying, though, is that it’s extremely casual. I personally wanted something that captured the feeling of a "space" like idly spending time at the beach without a care. so it worked perfectly for me. But if you’re looking for something more distinctive or special, this might not be it. That said, it’s undeniably a very pleasant scent. Another interesting aspect of this fragrance is how hard it is to categorize. It leans feminine, but the woody base keeps it from being a traditionally feminine perfume. At the same time, while the woodiness gives it some structure, the floral and light elements keep it from feeling like a masculine fragrance either. It’s not exactly unisex. it feels more like something beyond that, almost... non binary in character. Overall, it’s a good fragrance.

This became my evening work shift fragrance for this spring/summer, and it does the job perfectly. Smells clean, with a hint of green, a bit flowery too and then, there are those woody and sea notes that are really classy. I wear this as a man, although marketed as unisex it is a bit more feminine leaning (slightly), so I wouldn't wear it at a date and I wore this during daytime only on family gatherings because its not too overpowered n terms of projection and it smells great if you are close enough (with no need to be too close). This summer Im working in the Italian Alps, so the sea notes bring me "saudade", but a pleasurable one, reminding me that I keep the sea in my heart every day, never forgetting where I come from. I dont understand the negative reviews on this. because it smells elegant without too much pretence and sometimes less is more... Only negative point is the price, we all know perfumery is over priced in general so I cant blame the creator/company, it is what it is.

Beach vibes but make it sophisticated. On initial spray there is a sharp masculine edge, mossy and metallic. It disappears in minutes and the true fragrance reveals itself. This scent blends sun warmed florals with a soft and sweet salty oceanic breeze, capturing an effortlessly sophisticated beach vibe. It comes in waves, much like the sea wafting sun soaked florals and salt air. The projection is intimate, perfect for close encounters, and on my skin, it lingers for 4-6 hours before becoming a subtle skin scent. “Sent to the seaside for mental health” in a bottle. There’s something so therapeutic about this scent, probably the mix of the mineral sea notes and the eucalyptus, it’s kind of genius. We go to this beach that’s surrounded by eucalyptus trees every summer and PRF just transports me there. The morning sun reflecting on the sea, the waves crashing onto shiny rocks leaving tiny salt flakes and sand behind, the occasional whiffs of something herbal and aromatic riding on the warm breeze... and when I’m actually there the scent is boosted by the nature and it’s even better. The longevity is the best I’ve seen for a freshie, I got compliments after 6 hours, also got a compliment from a total stranger for the first time. And here I thought that was a perfume myth!!

This surprised me in a good way. I’ve tried God of Fire, Opulent Dubai and Boadicea 1907 but Pacific Rock Flower is so well blended and more appealing than all of them. Not to mention, I am on hour 3.5 since spraying and I can still smell it on me. It’s almost creamy. I’m using an official 10ml sample from G&B so I hope its strength is just as good if I decide to upsize to a fb. This is so well blended and well done. I typically can’t stand calone in fragrances but it’s so well blended here that I actually enjoy it. I was expecting to dislike this and now I’m interested in exploring this house. Performs beautifully in the heat and to me it leans more feminine but can be rocked by both all genders.

(GF&B Discovery - 3/10) Pacific Rock Flower is just amazing. It opens much different than PRM, still fresh and citrusy, but much creamier. The salty citrus that was in PRM is still here, but blends beautifully with the eucalyptus and tea. It’s just a nice fresh aquatic scent, with a deepness coming from the patchouli, and a creaminess coming from the not listed cocowax note. Imagine walking on a beach, but on a really nice resort, beach littered with coconuts and eucalyptus trees behind you. This scent is blended so well, but every note is still able to be found. I particularly love the cocowax, tea, and array of floral notes, making this scent very unique.

Picked this up yesterday at David Jones. Feels like a deeper and richer version of Pacific Rock Moss but maintains its salty, airy and aquatic vibe. Really pick up the peony note with a very smooth and creamy tuberose as a subtle support act. Slightly camphorous from the eucalyptus but not over bearing at all. Dries down to a warm sandalwood base. One of the better new fragrances as it’s totally unique and one of the better G&B’s.Love at first sniff.Totally worth seeking out and can imagine it being amazing as a daytime spring fragrance later in the year. Thoroughly recommended.Great looking bottle too

Back for an update. As I stated before, the opening comes across to me as very watery fruit. Like watermelon. Atlantis extrait comes to mind. But PRF smells superior in every way possible. Ive owned it for roughly 6 months and to me it has slightly changed, becoming more mature in scent profile. Im not sure why im getting that vibe but it's more than welcome. While this being my 3rd favorite out of the 4 goldfield and banks that i owned. Other 3 being PRM, BL, and MB. I gave mystic bliss to my mom as i didn't enjoy the overly earthy drydown.

Fist off, I really like the smell. I agree with the people that say the floral notes are strong on this one because well they are but that is to be expected of something with flower in the name. As a man I think this fragrance is perfectly unisex with maybe a slight feminine leaning but I think anyone can pull this scent off. I also prefer this over Pacific Rock Moss as not only do I enjoy the smell more but I also think that the performance is better. All in all, I give this a 8.5/10.

I've been hearing a lot of people say the coconut is on par with Le Beau, which I'll admit I'm not getting at all. I'd personally say this is a tasty mashup between three other great fragrances: - Mossy and cooling effect from G&B Pacific Rock Moss - Woody and floral notes from PR Invictus Parfum - And the citrus-y, tea-like scent from CK Summer Daze That said, it's well deserving of the title for a unisex summer banger that can extend well into mid-spring to early fall.

I like this much more than Pacific Rock Moss although it is very similar. The opening is very creamy and tropical on me. It's actually quite close to Tales from Zanzibar but saltier and fresher. To my nose, this fragrance doesn't smell like the notes listed. I'm getting something fruity and smooth, maybe guava or coconut? This is a top 2 G&B fragrance in my opinion, right next to Ingenious Ginger. The longevity is on par with most G&B fragrances, which is moderate.

Great stuff. You definitely smell the Pacific Rock Moss in this . It smells like an aquatic damp rocky coastline with flowers. It totally smells like PRM with a very smooth maybe light salty floral tone. Definitely leans feminine. As it dries down the PRM comes out more. I love the way it smells because I am a huge fan of the original. You totally smell the goldfield and banks lineage. Performance is on par with PRM, kinda sucks. 9/10.

It opens up pretty much like the original, which is really nice. Zingy, refreshing and certainly leaning masculine, so far W. As it settles, this is where my fears came in with some trauma with fresh florals. Eg. Soleil Blanc, I just couldn’t. However this doesn’t do that. The florals are strong but never too much, it settles so coherently to what I consider to be a very well made scent. 4.2/5

slightly sweet and definitely salty, almost juicy (: the patchouli and moss really kick in for me after a while but as a patchouli lover i really dgaf ... i dont get the masculine vibes everyone talks abt, it's a nice neutral scent coming from someone who doesnt like anything too masculine and has grown out of uber sweet scents. 100% attracts flies however

This is beautiful flower perfume with woody notes. It smells warm and cozy and i love it so much. I already have Silky woods, now i have Flower, and i am super happy. And i am not even a big fan of flower perfumes! I am more vanilla girl, but Flower is even better than many vanilla scents i have. I totally recommend this perfume

This scent is so beautiful, like flowers on a coastline. However, the performance is so awful. It lasts around 3h on skin and sillage is damn near non existent. It really disappoints me, as the most beautiful scents get terrible performance, like this one and Creed's Virgin Island Water. Breaks my heart.

My best decription of this fragrance is when you go for a swim in springtime and some of the plants have started dropping their leaves and flowers in the water. The fragrance smells slightly ‘dirty’ (in a good way, maybe natural is a better word) and I adore it.

Huge blast of something fruity off the rip. To me it comes across as watermelon. Its a like atm. I prefer PRM over this, but it will get used. PRM and Bohemian Lime are definitely the superstars of this line. Both amazing and are 2 bottles worthy.

I LOVE this fragrance, it’s so clean and fresh and smells expensive. I love fresh florals but often find that most don’t last beyond a couple hours however, this lasts 10+ hours on clothes, it projects so well, will be repurchasing

Now that I've calmed tf down, the original is better but this is still a very nice fragrance. I'd get anyone who loves both, equally.

It's my own skin after a day on the beach somewhere in Okinawa. Sun, salt, a hint of lotion. Florals? I barely sense any.

Do you like sitting on the tropical turquoise beach, white sand under you, surrounded by luscious greenery covered in coconut sunscreen and sipping on lemon-mint ice tea while the waves break infront of you and vaporise that salty sea smell while the light breeze covers you in it? I haven't seen many reviews on it so I might as well write one. I'm not a big fan of freshies, but with the summer rolling in I had to pull the trigger on something that I can wear in the scorching heat casually. I've heard of this house before, everyone knows Ingenious Ginger and Pacific Rock Moss by now so I wanted to try something new, something a bit sweet and fruity, but salty too, so this looked like a solid choice. Wow, on my skin this opens up with a punch in the face of lemon, herbs, coconut, florals and salt. Give it 30 mins and this settles into a nice tea scent with lemon and eucalyptus to keep it fresh, cocowax and sandalwood along with the florals to give it that creaminess and warmth with a touch of sweetness, herbs to keep it a bit spicy, and airy salt notes to support that freshness even more and give it that seaside breeze vibe. I'm not sure if it's only me but I get sage in this even if it is not listed in the notes? Pleasantly surprised that it smells so natural! I think this is unisex, woman or man could rock this easily. Longevity and projection are solid, I get 7-8 hours of longevity with moderate projection for 5 hours, I can still smell it faintly on my arm after 24 hours. On clothes this will last and project even longer. Again, this is on my skin so performance may vary on others. Overall I'd give Pacific Rock Flower an 8/10. I think it's a very nice blend of a salty and fresh fragnance. Quality of the blend is there, you can see that they put a lot of thought in it. Very safe and crowd pleasing with a niche spin to it, made with casual wear and leisure in mind that brings a smile to the face when you spray it. I'm glad this was my first purchase from this house!

Before I start this review, I will say that putting eucalyptus and patchouli notes together was an odd choice. Not bad compositionally, just odd. I’m the kind of reviewer that gives 5/5s to perfumes I vehemently dislike, because I can appreciate great compositions if I set aside my personal preferences. My 1/5s include perfumes I enjoy that have flat, discordant, or poorly blended compositions. With that being said, Pacific Rock Flower is a 2/5 for me. This perfume has no clear identity – and that isn’t by design. It’s a unisex hot weather fragrance that is both bitingly fresh and pervasively floral, yet relatively inoffensive on both ends. However, this smells like it was rushed out to be a quirky flanker to Pacific Rock Moss rather than being born from a genuine attempt to make a floral-fresh fragrance work. It isn’t a single unique scent. It’s two scents haphazardly stitched together as a gimmick. A gimmick I love, because it feels like I’m wearing something from an ultra-niche house that wants to make weird abominations out of conventional perfume DNAs. However, that is not the brand identity of Goldfield & Banks – and an ultra-niche house would have leaned into that uncanny dissonance between the fresh notes and the florals. Pacific Rock Flower isn’t harmonious or dissonant, it’s just a pleasant mess. 2/5 Composition 4/5 Personal Preference

Received a 10ml travel spray and it came with a hand-written note, which is a very nice touch. I don't remember what Pacific Rock Moss smells like, but Pacific Rock Flower smells like me a clean bath salt. It's a very fresh and appealing scent - I mainly pick up a sweet, milky coconut with hints of citrus and salt to give it that ocean vibe. The creamy coconut accord reminds me of the Le Beau line, but this is much, much better executed, through a smoother, less synthetic blend. Although the quality of the smell is undeniable, I think the performance could be a lot better, you'd need to overspray this for people around you to notice it. Pacific Rock Flower is slightly more expensive than the average designer fragrance at retail price, but you're getting something more interesting, and this is the kind of perfumery brand you'd want to see succeed, so I can justify the price. This would be considered a feminine leaning scent traditionally, though in my opinion any man could rock this during summer. This would be a complete banger to wear at one of those cabana-style beach bars. Smell: 7/10 Performance: 5/10 Presentation: 6.5/10 (bonus points for the note) Value: 7/10 Overall: 7/10

There is a faint whiff of the original pacific rock moss bolstering this fragrance, but for the most part it is a completely different scent rather than a flanker. It’s not as sweet, is far more aquatic and the camphor really opens the senses. The opening is aromatic, bracing and evokes the feeling of standing on a cliff looking out across a vast ocean. The marketing and packaging would have you expect a solar tuberose but it genuinely isn’t very floral. It’s original without being nostalgic which is a difficult thing to achieve considering how saturated the market has been with aquatic scents since the 90’s. I think it’s ace! Goldfield and Banks truly is the most innovative Australian fragrance house and I’ve been saying that for years. Worth seeking out for sure but always test, the scent won’t be what you expect.

The negative responses to @Willowthewisp are so silly, I was expecting a much more negative review than 'the overlap this has with things common in designer fragrances makes it smell designer.' The idea that someone shouldn't leave a negative review because frags are subjective and it might turn people off it is, dare I say, incredibly stupid. Then let's not leave positive reviews either because we might be tricking people into liking it! All of that being said I do love this! It doesn't read as smooth and refined enough to be designer to me but I get where that impression comes from. It sweeps me away to stops along the Great Ocean Road on a windy day. Can't wait for the weather to turn warmer and get more use of this.

I really like this one! This will definitely be great for the spring and the high heat of the summer. I am guessing this is a flanker of the original Pacific Rock Moss. I do get hints of it in the late drydown. This composition is really smooth. it is not as screechy as the original. There is nothing in here taking over the whole scent, it is well balanced. It has a nice light sweetness and light beachiness vibe from the tuberose. This has great longevity but not a super projector. It does sit a little closer to skin, but I feel in the summer it will bloom from the heat. This is a good one. Check it out if you can.

I have a travel size of this to try and decided today was the day. On first spray it came across as ever so slightly masculine leaning but this very quickly balanced out into a very pleasant summery scent. While not beachy it has hot weather vibes of scents you would catch in a warm environment. I do also have PRM as well so not sure if I can justify upgrading this one to a full bottle just yet especially as I don’t get the greatest performance from it. One of my faves from this house though

It's definitely nice- though I prefer the original, which has more simplicity and a touch of clean sweetness. I feel like the salt and eucalyptus come out more strongly in this one, as do the florals, so it feels less refreshing. The salt rides through the full wear for me. I find it to project pretty well, and last really well, even better than the first. I enjoy it and will likely finish a sample but it's nothing i feel I'd want more than a sample of.

I already reviewed this begin June, I had received a sample and remember slating it and stating I do not like salty fragrances. I'd like to retract this statement. I took my sample with me to Malaysia and this scent fit so beautifully in that humid weather and performed so well that I have come to appreciate it a lot more now. I would like to test it out here again to see whether I still like it or whether it was a holiday high or the weather.

A slightly more "tropical" (think Pacific Chill/Porthole/God of Fire) vibe then the original. It's a bit more salty, creamy and musky, and I'd say a little sharper and stronger as well. The floral aspect isn't super forward, but it's there, and does set it distinctly apart from Pacific Rock Moss. These are not redundant, even though you can recognize the dna of the original. I think this is slightly more feminine, but still a unisex overall.

Nice, even though a bit less interesting than what I expected. Starts off as a promising unisex refreshing scent then dries down to Novellista Calypso Fountain, basically: fruity, sweet, very feminine. I expected something more salty-mossy, more aquatic I guess. The perfomance is amazing, though. I prefer perfumes with a more intimate sillage, but if you want to get a powerhouse for your money, this product won't leave you disappointed.

Very fresh. A more complex version of what you might call a generic scent. It adds some character to your average summer/spring fragrance but I do see how this could be mistaken for something you've smelt 1000 times. As someone who is trying to branch out to lighter fresher fragrances (usually not my favorurite) this is a great option for me.

Kind of giving like bug repellent? To me comparing side by side to PRM - major difference is the more herbal and tangyness of PRM in comparison to PRF. Kind of a boring composition though I was expecting more. 6.5/10

All I get is an easygoing floral note from this. Super easy to wear, maybe slightly feminine, but I'm a pretty big dude and I feel like it works for me. Again, super easy to just throw on in summertime.

A salty floral for every gender. Performance is average on me. I like it, but I don’t love it enough to buy a full bottle. Great for summer though, and I’ve loved using my little travel sized bottle.

An early morning at the beach. Salt and humidity, dewy white florals, wet hair. Seaweed washing up on the shore. This is a great scent for surfers and beach bums alike. Perfectly unisex.

Sweet fruity floral with salt. No relation or resemblance to Pacific Rock Moss which I love very much. Not very unique in its own right either. To be honest, Pacific Rock Flower smells like something sprayed in Victoria’s Secret or bath and body works. That’s not to be disparaging, but I have several items from those stores, and I’m not paying $200 for them. The more I smell this, the more I am reminded of the bombshell line. Two hours later: Versace Eros. I can’t believe people are putting Le Male in the smells like category. No comparison

The presentation of tuberose here RUINS this for me. On paper, I get the comparison to House of Bo El Sireno, it seems similar but with added sweetness. Oh, but on skin...oof. As someone who hates solar notes and heady indolic presentations of florals, this is a scrubber. Wearing them side by side, I even more thoroughly appreciate how beautifully blended El Sireno is. The opening of PRF is wonderful - sweet and salty seaside vibes. Then it quickly turns into a tuby nursery near a beach. I wish I loved tuby, this would be a win if I did.
