Cheerful Charmer

I hadn't heard much about this particular scent from the Good Chemistry line before trying it but it's such a lovely, fresh coconut milk and vanilla scent. The apple blossom adds so much brightness to keep this from being at all a heavy vanilla or gourmand. I love when coconut milk is used in this way- it's so subtly sweet and creamy, it rounds out any scent without adding a blast of tropical sunscreen coconut; just light, lactonic, and warm. Cheerful Charmer is really beautiful and wearable day-to-day (the name is pretty apt too, it's very cheerful!)... and you cannot beat the price point! I mixed this with my Philosykos solid and the two play so well together (those coconut base notes pair perfectly)... highly recommend!

I really love this one- i love good chemistry for their clean and transparent ingredients and have tried all of them but this is the one I fell for.- I like their pink palm, tiger lily, and coco blush as well. I do get all the notes listed- the fragrance is very soft and non- offensive. There is a note I can't quite pinpoint aside from the ones that are listed but cheerful charmer has quickly become my favorite from this brand- and second in allll of my fragrances including high end.

i picked this up at target simply cause i wanted a cheap travel size perfume to have with me at school but i ended up being surprised by how much i enjoyed it! im often disappointed by most coconut + vanilla fragrances as they end up smelling like cheap sunscreen but this one was nowhere near that. its the perfect mix of light and sweet making it perfect for warmer weather. layering this with other perfumes is so fun!

Not your basic coconut vanilla. Does not smell beachy or sunscreen-y. It smells sweet, fluffy, lactonic, and creamy. Performance is excellent and so is the projection. Cheerful Charmer is definitely the right name for this one. You have to check this one out!

This is surprisingly different & complex for a vanilla coconut scent. It has coumarin (listed in the ingredients but not the notes) and I think this is what makes it really interesting for me. My understanding is that coumarin can smell a bit like hay and it can also smell warm and nutty. To my nose that slightly sweet and grassy aroma enhances the apple blossom note and the warm nutty aroma enhances the coconut note. It’s creamy and indulgent without being too sweet or predictable. This is a very enjoyable perfume. I look forward to exploring other good chemistry perfumes. They obviously know what they’re doing. Edit -wow! this is so nice layered with Joop! All about Eve.
