Coffee Cloud

Let me add my take on the fragrance itself: Very much a Cloud dupe to me, it even has that exact same rubbery smell (only in the initial seconds though), but it still has its small differences, enough for me to prefer *the smell* of Coffee Cloud. I feel like the name is really just convincing me I’m smelling a drop of “coffee” cus.. it’s really not here enough to warrant being in the title. Certainly not black coffee, nor is it a Starbucks drink. This coffee does have plain, unflavored creamer, with just enough sugar for it to cancel out any bitterness. It seems to have a touch of fruit.. I couldn’t pick them out.. Berries or plum would make sense but if we’re gonna go by the notes, I guess it’s just plain ole bergamot! It’s not particularly “sweet” or “vanilla” or “sugary”... When I look at the notes as I experience the scent, it makes a lot more sense. The cedarwood accord here is nice though, more like a mass-appealing vague woody smell, not masculine or feminine, just a good filler, no hamster cage wood chips or pencil shavings here! It’s a perfectly nice fragrance by itself... As long as you can at least smell yourself. I am going to bother Good Chemistry on social media and ask them to create matching lotions.

Wow, this really grew on me. I blind bought this and liked the scent but wasn’t really sure if it was me. After a couple of wears, I think it’s perfect. Not too strong, has a very clean, non-chemically scent to it. I was expecting the coffee to be a bit stronger, but I love how the coffee and cedarwood notes come together to make a warm and slightly musky scent. The bergamot adds a spicy sweetness to it that is just heavenly. Good for any time of day, but I think this is best worn during the colder months. It smells nice when it’s on warm skin, but the notes completely change for the better when you walk into the chilly outside. The scent is much warmer and more inviting this way. Sexy but not too sexy, this perfume is perfect for any occasion, whether it be a hot night out or a chilly day spent in a coffee shop :)

Coffee Cloud makes me wanna fall to my knees and dramatically yell to the sky WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?!?!?!?!?! because it’s like the perfumer(s) at Good Chemistry ✨ perfected ✨ this scent profile... But but but... 😢 it doesn’t last or project even if I spray my skin AND my clothes a total of 20+ times. If you’re in the vicinity with me while I do this, that will be the only time you’ll be able to smell it. If you apply then say, take a few short minutes to walk out to your honey’s car, the smell doesn’t project except for to my own nose holes, lol. I’m on my 2nd bottle.. I used my 1st Coffee Cloud bottle up in less than a month! Considering my collection and the fact that it is incredibly rare for me to even finish a bottle... Just shows how amazing the perfume smells but how weak it is.

like someone else mentioned, coffee cloud is the epitome of a cheap & cheerful frag! i have purchased both the EDP and the body mist, and both seem to perform equally- since that's the case, I'd suggest just going with the body mist since it's a larger quantity/cheaper, or the travel spray if that's more convenient. definitely gives cloud vibes but not an exact dupe- i mostly get bergamot and soft woods with a hint of espresso and some miscellaneous sweet lactonic notes. it's a nice spin on the marshmallow-ey woody musk "clouds" of today's fragrance culture. longevity is pretty poor as expected, but i have no problem reapplying this sweet treat! It's so warm and comforting- great to wear to bed, to date night or just during the day when you want to feel extra cozy:)

Coffee cloud is a smooth, sweet, creamy coffee fragrance. It smells heavenly.. And much more feminine than the notes suggest. There is absolutely nothing unpleasant about the scent. Longevity & projection are weak, but that is typical for something in this price range. It is also definitely not just bergamot & cedarwood, as the notes suggest. I don't know what else is in it, perhaps whipped cream or praline like Cloud... but whatever is in it clearly puts Coffee Cloud in the gourmand range. This does espresso very well too, in comparison to some other fragrances. I really didn't like any Black Opium variations because the coffee notes always came off quite bitter/burnt to me. This is not like that at all.

This opens a little fruity, then transitions to a nicely blended sandalwood. The coffee note is sort of latte, one sugar, and it is mostly composed of the sandalwood. It is not overly sweet or overly literal. The sandalwood slowly transitions to cedarwood. The final note actually reminds me of Glossier You, only without the bitterness and sourness. It is definitely unisex and could lean masculine or feminine depending on who was wearing it. It is clean, yet cozy and would be good for work or weekend. Its simplicity is a virtue and is part of what makes it tasteful and elegant. I would choose this over most of its more expensive luxury department store cousins.

As others have mentioned, I don't think the listed notes are impression-accurate⎯ It's powdery and ambery to me (almost vanillic), not getting any coffee Not exactly a BR540 dupe; It kind of has that 'what's left lingering on a shirt sprayed two days ago' likeness... Definitely less sickly sweet, more creamy/powdery Not long lasting at all, after an hour I can barely smell it with my nose to my skin A nice before-bed cozy scent! UPDATE: 1. DUPE of AG Cloud's opening notes (w/out the nauseating chemical smell) 2. The body mist seems to last just a bit longer than the eau de parfum... Which isn't saying much

This smells like Ariana Grande's Cloud if she were to come out with a Latte edition. It's so creamy and vanilla-y. As soon as I smelled it at Target, I decided to look up the notes of the perfume and I'm just shocked. There is NOTHING citrus-y or woody about this perfume. I feel like there has to be some mistake. This is what I smell: vanilla, whipped cream, coffee, musk, some wood(but not enough to make it a woody fragrance), maybe some coconut. I have Cloud Pink which smells too similar to this so I wouldn't buy this. But its a great dupe for Cloud.

It is SUPER similar to Ariana Grande’s Cloud but with weaker performance. I don’t get much of the coffee some people are mentioning. What I do get more of in GC Coffee Cloud than in AG Cloud is that burnt sugar note you get from MFK BR540, especially in the dry down, along with an intense cosmetic powder note I don’t get from AG Cloud. GC Coffee Cloud smells warmer to me than AG Cloud. I prefer AG Cloud and they’re both extremely similar so when I do run out of GC Coffee Cloud I won’t repurchase it. I’d rather stick with AG Cloud :).

I'm so picky with fragrance, I've spent a lot of time trying to figure out what I like and the minute I smelled this it became my favorite scent. This reminds me of the lobby of a very nice hotel. It has the clean hotel lobby scent with the gentle warmth of the coffee bar. It reminds me of traveling for work, the feeling of being on the go, elegant, and all business. This is a day scent for me, because it makes me feel like I'm ready to get to work. I adore it and wish I could find it with the staying power of Bianco Latte.

The main accords are very inaccurate to me. Reading them, I would’ve skipped this. I don’t get any citrus or spicy in this. To me, it is sweet, woody and lactonic. I absolutely love this perfume! It smells like a sweet, frothy double espresso cappuccino. Like Cloud with coffee. I will say, the whole Cloud line makes me feel nauseous for some reason, and this does the same thing to me. So I unfortunately can’t wear this. But I wish I could because it’s so delicious.

This is a complete dupe of Ariana's Cloud. It is such a great dupe I consider myself to already have cloud in my collection even though it's this. The longevity is there, it lasts hours both on my skin and my clothes. I'm only speaking for the 10 dollar body mist, its that potent. The silage is wonderful, sometimes get annoyed with the smell after hours of smelling it, not sure if that's a good or bad thing. I recommend of you aren't able to get cloud.

Surprised by the bergamot votes; I definitely get a little fruit, but bergamot isn't it. It reads very caramel macchiato to me- the coffee comes through as toasty and sweet rather than straight black coffee. The woodsy sandalwood notes only really come through when sprayed on bare skin, anything that catches on my clothes stays candy sweet.

This would probably be super comforting in cooler weather. It's a warm, smoky, and kind of a powdery-ish coffee smell that my brother describes as "a recently lit fireplace". The longevity is surprisingly good, and I can usually smell it on my skin at the end of the day.

This smells so good, Ari’s Cloud but a touch of coffee. It’s so weak though. I have the perfume and body mist. Neither of which last, so just grab the mist for cheaper. I wear this to bed mostly or a pick me up before I start reading a book.

I like this as a warm cozy smell! I will say the coffee scent is kinda weak, but I love the dry down its so soft and cozy.

I’ll be unpopular and say this smells like a lighter version of the only one by Dolce !

Smells just like Ari’s Cloud perfume! Beautiful 🤍🤍🤍

I really enjoy this perfume. At the first spray, it starts off strong, but it does dissipate rather quickly. The opening note is black coffee with a touch of cream. Then comes the bergamot with a bit of sugar. It then settles down softly into that cappuccinoesque BR540. It is an approximation (not quite a dupe) of Ariana Grande's Cloud which is a dupe of BR540. All in the same family - and of course, at this price point we can't expect the longevity or sillage of BR540. Compared to In the Stars by BBW (which is another DNA of BR540), Coffee Cloud is a tad creamier with of course, the coffee. I'm not sure if I am anosmic to it at some point in the day, but I feel that the sillage isn't overpowering, it's just right. This sweet java fragrance is cozy and perfect for a cold day.

I bought this blind because it was well-priced and said it would smell like coffee, which it doesn't. It smells nice, woody and a little sweet, more like something you could buy as a soap during the holidays. I was initially put off by it since I bought it in the summer, but it has grown on me in the months since I've had it and it layers really nicely with other sweet scents. I don't usually go for gourmand smells because they tend to feel juvenile and distracting. At least in colder weather, this isn't overpowering and it wears off after about 6 hours. In the summer, though, it smells really over-sweet and chemically, kind of like staleness and baby powder. Whatever compounds they used to get those balancing woody notes just isn't effective in higher temps.
