Firecraker

I’m absolutely obsessed with this perfume. It smells like your cool friend with a nose ring and a dog, who gives great hugs and will drive you to the airport at 5 am with Walk The Moon playing in the car. It’s summery and fresh, sort of androgynous, and youthful without smelling anything like what you might have bought at bath and body works when you were 16. It smells nice and clean but not sophisticated- when I wear it I don’t smell expensive, I just smell fun. I bought the rollerball and it doesn’t last too long- a couple hours, usually- but it’s cheap enough that I don’t mind reapplying throughout the day.

I have owned this for a few years and I love it. I smelt it on someone and asked what she was wearing and proceeded to hunt down a rollerball. (I think it’s dc’d) Anyways this is the l first time I have taken a look at the notes. I definitely pick up the vetiver (it’s leans super green and mossy here) and I get the “watery clean “ vibe of the lotus. No clue what star fruit brings to the party - maybe that little bit of tangy-ness that I feel. But I would describe this as a spicy clean earthy woody scent. Some of those seem to contradict but it works for me. Really fun and IMO 💯 unisex.

starfruit lotus + vetiver I have no idea how lotus smells. I kinda can think of what a starfruit smells like. And I don' even know what vetiver is. ( I googled it.) I definitely don't get a floral scent from the lotus....so it feels unisex. At first spray I didn't like it. Now that it's been on my skin for a while I can say I will like this one for summer. It feels like a sunny scent but also sexy for night. It smells "cool" and green, like being under a shady tree. I think what I'm picking up that is confusing me is the vetiver. Smells very masculine but not so much that I won't wear it and enjoy it. There has to be some men in my life that wear/wore vetiver. Other than me being stuck not sure how to describe it, it's nice. Dries down bright but smooth if that makes sense. At first spray I was not sold, but now I'm glad I got it.

This scent is mellow-creamy-sweet, sort of rubbery, sort of woody, sort of citrusy. I'd expected something much sharper & bolder from a name like Firecracker to be honest! If we're sticking with the theme, I'd call this one something like "Hopscotch" to convey how sunny, light, & playful it is. This feels like a fragrance a babysitter would wear (not a dig).

I like the scent better than I like the performance. I can’t believe it has only three notes, because a smoky incense or a faint oud seems to play a part, but it is not listed. My initial reaction is love at first sniff. No wafts when I spray my chest. A few moments later I have to put my wrist to my nose if i want to smell it again.

[Review for the roller pearl.] Firecracker's scent is very earthy and aromatic with a touch of fruity-floral sweetness. I like it! It's a nice, down-to-earth type of scent.

Ever been to the haunted mansion ride at Disney world? Smells a lot like that. Love it.

This one is ok. It definitely has some kind of spice or kick to it, but I don't know what it is. I don't care for this a crazy amount. It smells like straight up vodka upon first spray. The dry down is a bit more pleasant, but still not that great. I still like this one though, because it has great lasting power and sillage for the low price. Also it is a simple scent that layers very well with sweet scents that I want to tone down on the sweetness or childishness.

I got this because the notes seemed like it would be a good mix. On me, It reminds me of Bengay (topical pain ointment).

I’m sure of two things when it comes to many fragrances: 1) perception is unique 2) body chemistry is unique. To me, this is the perfect 4th of July scent if you are lucky enough to enjoy America’s birthday party by the ocean or another body of water. I smell all of the notes listed and two more - peppercorn and aquatic notes. I’m not sure what the water lotus smells like but I guess this is the aquatic element I pick up. I have two roller balls and a big bottle. It’s unisex but leans slightly feminine. I often share my scents with my middle school students and this is the one they request the most saying it’s so “spicy and clean Miss”. The vetiver makes it a little sharp but no way as sharp as aqua de gioa. The pepper is prominent and kind of has a subtle gun powder vibe. I think this is the best scent in the good chemistry line and you can’t find it in stores. If anyone knows a higher end scent with a similar vibe that’s more well blended, please share. This scent works well in my jungle hot June classroom that’s packed with teen spirit. it definitely put me on a quest to find a spicy, citrus, fruity, aquatic that doesn’t go sharp, sour, musky, or powdery.

Don’t get much petrichor despite there being a prominent ozonic/aromatic note up top. Basically a vetiver bomb with a hint of bitter sweetness underneath. Very natural smelling, could convince me these were entirely made of essential oils.

I swear that I can smell leftover ash from fireworks, maybe it's just the name suggestion.
