Excuse my French, but this is fucking fantastic. The opening is quite sharp and very vintage-like, with an initial spritz. Cardamom and pepper forward, very spicy with bergamot rounding it out. It smells kind of like a rich, hot grandpa with the best style you have ever seen. And after the alcohol is gone, holy moly, it smells like brewed Earl Grey. The tea here is not green or fresh like in many other perfumes, it smells like dried tea that has been brewed, and the bergamot together smells like Earl Grey. I don’t know how else to describe it. The leather makes it slightly rough around the edges, and it also has a tiny cold smoky quality, like ash, I think it’s the cypriol. And as time passes, it becomes more mellow, round, and sweet because you can pick up the myrrh and tonka beans. The patchouli is not very prominent, but I do believe that if it wasn’t there, something would be missing. I freaking love this. It was a sample they threw in with some decants I bought, and it was the only winner lol. Also, beast longevity-wise, easily an 11-hour wear with good sillage (not beast mode, but people can still smell you just fine) from start to finish. Unisex 100% imo, but I can see many considering it more masculine-leaning.

Mais um perfume feito com maestria pela Granado. Eu sou um grande fã da perfumaria da Granado. A nível nacional, é minha casa favorita, e essa fragrância não foge das minhas expectativas. Me lembra muito o Herod da PdM, um perfume de nicho de mais de 2 mil reais, porém com uma abertura mais suave e apreciável. Não posso negar que o Herod sobressai ao longo do tempo (depois de 30 min - 1 hora ele vira um dos meus perfumes favoritos), mas a fixação do Apotecário é absurda. Testei os dois lado a lado, um em cada braço, e na manhã seguinte ainda era possível detectar uma nota, acredito que de myrrh, que chegava a ser um pouco enjoativa, enquanto o Herod já havia desaparecido completamente. Melhor que o Herod? Não, mas chega bem perto com fixação e projeção melhores, e por uma fração do preço. O couro é muito presente, principalmente nas primeiras 8 horas. Eu gosto, porém fique atento caso não seja um grande fã de fragrâncias com essa nota. Dou 5/5 por ser uma maestria nacional com preço acessível. Continuo fã da Granado e espero aumentar minha coleção de fragrâncias da casa!

This is so fire. Like the elegant step up from Boss Bottled Elixir. The tea and incense combo is something to behold truly. I have the 25ml that came with the gift set. The hand lotion is impeccable and the soap doesn't melt. This does incense so differently, I guess for a niche fragrance. The pepper, cardamom and bergamot give it a spicy, ever so slightly citrusy opening, where the black tea and leather are right under and strong, but the incense and tonka bean comes through almost immediately after. They're strong! Coming through to the top quickly. All the notes show up in their own space and work together very well. It goes from an earthy oriental incense to a sweet, WARM, deep spiced tea scent on the drydown. Honestly quite incredible. Perfect for lazy days, teatime, fall weather, snow days, any form of relaxation where you want some peace. Unlike Boss Bottled also by Quentin Bisch, this is powerful but still underspoken. More elegant, less loud. If you have Boss Bottled Elixir or Absolu, give this to your partner or girlfriend. Perfect couples' fragrances. 9/10

Another Quentin Bisch creation. It reminds me of a less smoky-incense version of Hugo Boss Bottled Absolu. You get leather, myrrh and sweet black tea with roasted vanillic tonka undertone. The rest of the notes are not very prominent, they are more of a supporting role to round out the main 3. It is most definitely not a leather forward fragrance like Tom Fords Ombre Leather.. which makes me wonder, Granado perfumes have the most inaccurate "reminds me of". I suppose people do it for product engagement? It's literally random, as most of them smell nothing alike. The closest it smells like is Hugo Boss Bottled Absolu. I like it. If you happen to be in brazil definitely stop by a Granado store. It cost alot cheaper in brazil compared to anywhere else in the world. Granado USA sells it for $155. In brazil I got it for about $40 For the scent and performance especially a Quentin Bisch creation this one is definitely worth a try. Performance is pretty good. Decent projection and sillage. Most definitely a colder, fall night type of scent.

Sem sombra de dúvidas o perfume que mais recebo elogios sobre ! Amo demais !!! Ele é o mais doce que tenho e o mais sensual da linha vintage da granado. Ele não sai NUNCA do corpo ou das roupas (nunca mesmo, meus travesseiros estão cheirando a ele desde sempre) Perfume para mulheres que gostam de antiquários, Hayley Williams e tomar chai lattes em uma cafeteria superfaturada! O maioral

I mean, is there any fragrance from Quentin that does not have Tonka Bean????? That being said, the first notes I can distinguish is the leather and tonka, but soon after the Black tea comes in, very soothing. I really like it. Reminds me a bit of Herod, and Qaed by Lattafa

I love this one! This is niche quality and buying it in Brazil is cheaper than buying in USA. I can't even find words to say how much I love Apotecario... I wish I lived in a place that was cold year-round so I could wear Apotecario every day.

Isso aqui é algo de outro mundo. Juro que nunca senti nada que me fizesse tão bem quanto esse perfume. Sofisticado, elegante, feito para ocasiões especiais. É uma memória de felicidade robusta.

Yet another Granado masterpiece. This is extremely masculine, grown up. Ingredients are extremely high quality. Spicy, leathery, resinous. It's to die for.

I'm conflicted about this one. It smells amazing and the ingredients, just live every other Granado frag, is of the highest quality. They must use a higher grade of oils compared to traditional designers and even some niche (looking at you PDM) because their frags smell very rich and natural. My thing with it is that i expected something more unique and different after seeing the combo of notes, but despite it smelling amazing, its a very familiar scent. There's some Grand Soir mixed with Red Tobbaco kind of feel, and even a hint of Ombre Leather in the opening. I also have Boemia from Granado and even though they don't smell exactly the same, they both go in the same direction on the drydown but Boemia is a richer tobbaco while Apotecario is smokier. And tobbaco isn't even listed as a note! Bvlgari Man in Black also comes to mind, but without the iris. I got this expecting a leather scent but unfortunately, that vibe only lasts for the first 30 minutes. This one also kinda strays a little bit from Quentin's style of fragrance which may be a good thing or a bad thing depending who you ask. Still, its a very good frag for fall and winter nights but if you have Boemia or one of the aforementioned frags you don't really need this.

Very interesting, syrupy dense, reddish brown transparent with warm spice, yet not cinnamony. Beautiful thick leather immersed in an infusion of rowan and other indeterminate red berries. Slightly bitter and a bit powdery rather than shiny. Unfortunately it doesn't last that long on its own on skin, after 2-3 hours in a moderately warm climate it goes from perfume to a wax candle scented home and eventually dissolves into something slightly menthol and a bit wet vanilla tobacco. Definitely signature, longevity very good but stability is not that miraculous and what the scent develops into later is not that interesting. No black tea on my side sadly.

Definitely it’s not blind buy safe! I have no doubt that this has high quality ingredients and the mature people will definitely love it! But it didn’t work it for me. It’s not my kind of fragrance. Even after few hours it’s still very cloying for me. If you like leather fragrances, that’s definitely for you! And there’s one more thing! It has an eternal longevity. Even after 8 hours and a shower, I could still smell the perfume in my skin!

Sadly this one didn't work for me. The opening is sharp, with pepper and citrussy bergamot cutting through but then it gives way to a resinous, patchouli mess with the myrrh, tonka and black tea feeling unbalanced. All the ingredients look great on paper, and I have come to love the brand, but like a jaunty all star that doesn't click, this simply doesn't work for me. In profile this reminds me of Amouge Interlude or PdM Herod, without the nuance.

Base contains an overdose of amberwoods. Huge sillage, room-filling, lasts eternally. So unpleasant.
