Citrus Brasilis

If you ever have the pleasure of visiting the beautiful country of Brazil, you must visit Granado and pick up a bottle of this wonderful fragrance. I was having so much trouble finding a fragrance that instantly wowed me but of course, the Virgo in me fell for this clean citrus bombshell. Citrus Brasilis is a daytime fragrance and perfect all year round. In 2024 I wore Chanel No5 Leau - Citrus Brasilis is not the same, it is much fresher and in no way powdery, but both contain lemon, bergamot and mandarin orange at the top, jasmine in the middle and musk at the bottom. So basically I’ve figured out the thing, those notes that I’ll always go back to, an experience true fragrance lovers rejoice over. I’ve been wearing this beauty since February and I’m almost out! People love this on me. I wore it to a summer evening soirée and received compliments, I wore it to work on a frigid December afternoon and received compliments, this fragrance is loved! The woman that wears Citrus Brasilis knows herself very well, she is true to herself and brings a sweet energy everywhere she goes. She’s soft and refreshing. And everyone adores her!

Absolutely lovely, such a wonderful citrus, and develops beautifully into the jasmine and musk. When I first tried it I was disappointed with the sillage and longevity but I was in a very crowded environment, still the scent was ingrained in my memory so I ended up buying a bottle. My other go to citrus for high heat was Light Blue, which had better projection and longevity but this one is fair for a citrus. About 6 house later I can still feel it sometimes when moving my hair or if I bring my hand to my face. I recently tried it close to Jardin de Monsieur Li and they are nearly twins, although there’s some in JML that don’t quite enjoy as much as this one, but I can’t put my finger on it

Quentin Bisch cooked with this one. Its such a nice, clean, freshie. It literally smells like kumquat trees. Its fresh, green, citrusy, orange. Reminds me of when I was a kid, there was few kumquat trees growing around, I used to just go and eat the fruits. Also since its a Brazilian brand, not alot of people know about it so its not something you going to smell often. Its a unisex freshie my wife uses it all the time, smells great on her. I like to layer it with mont blanc explorer 👌🏻

Não acreditem em quem está falando que não tem performance. Ótima fragrância, uma bergamota muito bem trabalhada. Fixação na minha pele gira em torno de 7-8hrs e projeta relativamente bem nas primeiras 2h, passando para uma projeção ok a partir daí. Ótimo perfume para dias quentes, de praia e sol. Antes que eu me esqueça, é um ÓTIMO perfume para layering.

If you're into naturals and you know Quentin Bisch, you'll probably love this one. Not groundbreaking by any means, instead, calming musky orangey or mandarinesque. Not too musky to the point it's creamy, but not as sharp as well. Very uplifting after bath/shower scent that's very hard to dislike.

Best, most interesting citrus fragrance ever created, hands down. Quentin has done it again

To me, this fragrance is misleading. I expected a blast of citruses, but to me it's VERY floral with a touch of fruitiness instead. I literally can't smell any of the top notes listed. The jasmine is very present and brings a bit of that indolic character, wich I don't like. Also, to me it leans very feminine. It's not a bad fragrance at all, but be sure to try it out before buying.

Picked this up earlier this year on Oscar Freire, São Paulo. A brand shaped by Quentin Bisch. Deeply rooted in Brazil, now reaching beyond. Hard to describe without the heat, the rhythm, the pulse of Brazil. 8/10 — a carioca citrus explosion. This one has to be lived. Wearing it in 30°C heat — and I’ll keep reaching for it. P.S. My daughter noticed it... even in the pool

I purchased the 10 bottle tester kit from Granado, and initially this was my least favourite, but got better over time. The opening spray was citrussy, green and somewhat bitter but as the scent develops, it ends up a lot more fresh and uplifting, and I agree with the comparisons to a luxury sun tan lotion. The mandarin, kumquat and lemon are of the high quality, but the balance seems slightly off with the overall presentation and is very much a skin scent that lasts around 6 hours. Citrus Brasilis feels like a high end spa cream, its clean and fresh, but does not do anything particularly daring. I don't love it, but difficult to really dislike. Unassuming and inoffensive, a decent summery spritz that would work well as a blind reach or for those hot beach days.

I love Citrus fragrances and living in Brazil, the Citrus Brasilis should be a “must have”. Fortunately a friend gave it to my wife and I didn’t need to go buy one. Overall it’s a good perfume and the opening it is what it adverts: very citrus, which is very promising. You kinda start to understand the hype and can’t wait to see how the perfume develops in the dry down, but here is the thing. It has a very linear development, it lacks depth! Don’t get me wrong, it is still a very good fragrance, but It gives you almost everything he promise just in the opening. The performance also could be better. If you want to use it as a signature perfume and want people to notice that you are wearing it, you will need to respray it maybe one or two times in a day. I still need to try layering with other perfumes. Maybe I didn’t explored it full potential. For now, I don’t think it worth what they are asking. I’ve seen perfumes with similar performance and quality for less. UPDATE May 20th 2026: It had been a while since the last time I wore this perfume, and today I quickly remembered why. I wasn’t in the mood for my signature scent, so I decided to give Citrus Brasilis another chance. Definitely this fragrance has absolutely no evolution whatsoever. What you get in the first five minutes is exactly what you’ll be stuck with until it finally dies. It feels incredibly lazy and one-dimensional, like the perfumer gave up halfway through the formula. By the second hour, I was already tired of smelling it and just waiting for it to become a skin scent. If it were significantly cheaper, I could maybe see it working as a safe school fragrance for kids. But at this price point?!

Citrus Brasilis from Brasilian House Granado de Perfumery is a Citrus Floral Musky Unisex perfume. This is a new fragrance, and it was launched in January 2025. The nose behind this fragrance is Quentin Bisch. It opens quite citrusy but not sharp sharp, sharp, and with a fresh minty accord; Soon a bitterness arrives that bothered me a little but fortunately soon dissipated with the arrival of a white floral adding more freshness and leaving the fragrance very pleasant. A clean musky pleasant in drying consolidates the pleasantness of the composition as a whole; Without a doubt it is a delicious perfume! And for the cost benefit it adds a certain quality. I thought that this launch of Granado in the Parfum concentration would solve the brand's chronic problem: low performance. And that with that I would surrender and be able to acquire something from this traditional and now globalized carioca brand, but no, leaving any boastfulness aside, the performance of Citrus Brasilis is also very weak 🥴; ... even if it's just my first contact with the fragrance.

It has the DNA from Les Eaux by Chanel combined with Nectarine Blossom and Honey from JoMalone. It smells like an expensive shampoo or a sun-lotion from L’oreal. It’s not bad if you like the fragrances I mentioned, considering the price point, but it’s not remarkable amongst Granado’s fragrances portfolio.

Very nice citrus opening that fades quite quickly to reveal a soft, fruity, floral, musky base. If you enjoy jasmine I think this would be a safe blind buy. Definitely feminine leaning but I don’t feel self conscious wearing this as a man. Strictly summer vibes only 😎
