Jardim Real

Quickly imagine a jasmine flower, with the juices of a mandarin orange and bergamont squeezed on top, a drizzle of honey, and dash of pink pepper. That is Jardim Real by Granada. For me, this is close to perfection in a bottle! A blind buy, gone absolutely correct. Initial spray is straight licourice for me, which scared me because that is just awful. But thankfully, almost instantly after this transformed into a fresh and quite *peppery* citrus white floral fragrance embelished by jasmine sambac and orange blossom. It smells very fresh, without the astrigency of sour citruses and strong greens. The musk adds a "skin-like scent."Yet still remains fun, and flirtuasious via the juicy notes of mandarin,and spicyness of pink pepper. It reminds me very much of Glossier you, except this is more complex with the bursting citrus, and refined through the additions of beautiful white florals. It smells like walk through a mystical botanical garden in the moonlight. I would say these leans pretty feminine, but still remain unisex. Year-round scent, but would do very well in the spring. Could easily pass as nighttime fragrance, as much as a day one. Versatile, familiar-yet engaging—what an elegant and well-crafted perfume. 8.9/10

This is my favorite floral base for layering, but I easily wear it on its own when I'm just seeking for a comfortable day with a cozy scent to follow. Very powdery on the base though so if you're not too fond of powdery scents it might be uncomfortable. I think the florals complement it nicely though! One of my favorite perfumes and it lasts the whole day if I don't wash it off.

One of the most beautiful and delicate fragrances I’ve ever encountered. It smells super clean and fresh, but it’s not citrusy or tangy. There’s a presence of the white flowers with a hint of musk. It makes me feel like it’s a soft breeze hug on a spring day.

The scent of a summer flirtation: light but heady, juicy but floral, simple but alluring. What a divine, easy to wear fragrance! Not to mention that it’s entirely unisex and an amazing bargain too. 🌞

Initially, on the skin, this starts off with a jarring citrusy cacophony that doesn't smell good. Similar to Tom Ford's Neroli Portofino. After a few minutes, it gives way to a soft, ethereal light purple floral with a hint of pear. Very feminine. Similar Jo Malone's English Pear and Freesia but with added purple flowers like violets and lilacs. Also reminds me of Tory Burch's Mystic Geranium. If the opening could be fixed, then this perfume would be much better. Smell: 7 out of 10 Strength: 7 out of 10 Feminine

This smells like a very expensive soap. Perfect for hot days and really unisex. It’s clean and relaxing. It also has a sexy vibe to it which you don’t usually find in this kind of scent. Thumbs up!

Opens up really nice, clean, fresh, a bit old school men’s cologne but with elegance and refinement. The dry down is IMO too vintage smelling. Straight up gramma, it started to annoy me and I washed it off. Not bad, just absolutely not what I want to smell like.

If you struggle with ambroxan/related smells this is not for you. It's not the strongest I've smelt but it's definitely there and I decluttered this because of that. This is really quite a soapy floral otherwise. So if you can't smell ambroxan and don't mind soapy floral fragrances, this might be a winner.

Nope. For me at least, the opening is a full on white flower migraine bomb. The citrus does come through and it is pretty enough, but it is so totally over powered in the opening that it is a mandatory scrub. Most definitely NOT a safe blind buy!

Finally, this gem has arrived in my collection. This perfume smells like a palace garden, as its name suggests, Royal Garden. It's a white floral, musky, and sweet perfume, with a fresh opening of citrus fruits and a touch of pink pepper. Soon after comes that fresh, open jasmine and orange blossom, which in my perception is the protagonist of this fragrance. This perfume has a musky base that gives it this comfortable, even slightly powdery characteristic. It performed okay on my skin, with moderate projection, but the longevity was about 6 hours. I found it very elegant, sophisticated, refined, and very pleasant. To me, it smells like well-being.

A true grandma smell. Like expensive floral soaps grandmas put in drawers to make their clothes smell nice.
