Magnólia

So pretty and a very light edc level fragrance with a light refreshing true floral of Magnolia. Though fleeting it’s very feminine and fits the word ‘pretty’. It’s a refreshing yet calming spritz because of its simplicity. If you like Magnolia this is a no brainer for Spring/Summer and if you lean to citrus or white musc in very hot weather you may find this floral particularly pleasant. As a cologne, to be sprayed freely this is light, airy and suitable for anyone but leans any age feminine. The cost is excellent for the quality and you can overspray comfortably. For days when you want something very light but engaging. I have five fragrances from this brand and this is the lightest but also the cheapest. I have not layered yet but will see how it performs over DS & Durga. I don’t know what/ Livre Blanche (Zara) to see if a base supports longevity but not all fragrances should last eternally.

For a gardenia dominant fragrance, this scent smells very unique. I have few other magnolia scents with green notes but the others don’t smell as beautiful as Granado’s Magnolia Colonia! Smells very honeyed, sweet and powdery, to me it’s green just in the opening and after about twenty minutes goes straight to that smooth, soft, honeyed, sweet combo of magnolia and mimosas. It’s a truly unique and beautiful, feminine fragrance that was instant love for me. I have never tried anything from Granado besides Magnolia Colonia and another fragrance, Epoque Tropical, both tested today, but I’m looking forward to get a bottle because even though it’s a colonia concentration, on my skin lasts longer than some EDP thar costs triple the money! It’s really a sunny, tropical smelling white/yelllow floral for a very affordable price! Highly recommend Granado as an alternative to European designer brands.

One of the types of scents I think of as a bath booster, it smells really freshly clean! But it also has a smoothness to it that made me instantly fall in love when I was at the store, it feels incredibly soft, in the tactile sense. So lovely! No notes! I adore it :)

If I could describe this scent, it would be with the words comfortable and pretty.

It’s actually doesn’t smell quite floral for me. It’s rather woody, sweet and a bit spicy. I can smell some tart and green fig, powdery musk and some sweetened woods, but not much of an actual magnolia. That’s why I like it :) It actually reminds a bit of Gris Charnel BDK.

A very light, pretty floral. Airy, nearly a skin scent right away. Can spray w/ abandon, sillage remains close. Though quite airy in the overture, Magnolia moves center stage in evolution & performs beautifully.

Clean linear magnolia however I do smell some sharpness due to the mimosa and green notes in it

This is a very, very nostalgic scent for me, as I spent a lot of time rummaging through my mother’s creams and talc powders and everything about this fragrance feels like I’m sprinkling light talc powder on after a bath. Like my bath was scented with almond, and the talc is pure powdered sweetness in that cozy musk kind of way. I could see this being THE bedtime scent of all bedtime scents. It’s very cozy and comforting. It’s woody, powdery fresh, and the kind of floral that is that comforting nostalgic violet vibe. Someone reviewed it elsewhere mentioning that it smells like a lighter and muskier version of l’eau papier, and that it reads as a yellow, musky floral. I know someone down below said it smells like BDK Gris Charnel, but I love that scent and don’t really get that here. Maybe they said that because of the violet and sandalwood, but it is very beautiful and I don’t think I’ve smelled anything like it in a perfume.

I've been on the search for a very realistic magnolia perfume that is spa like and complex, so much so my scent girlfriend made me a custom perfume with this scent profile. I adore it. I also have purchased Granado in hopes to find the perfect Magnolia and I think I've found it. My neighbor has a magnolia tree and I am obsessed with smelling the blooms every day I walk by. This is a beautiful feminine and sweet lemony buttery magnolia! I got it for 70% off on Granado last week. Score!
