Nostalgia

The first time I sniffed it I was immediately taken back to the 80’s when I used to play with my grandma’s expired lipstick samples from Avon. They were clearly expired because they had that moldy waxy smell. The lady in the shop said “most people remember of crayons”, which would smell similar to the old lipstick in a way. You would expect this to be off putting BUT it was not, I had to buy it. Nostalgia is the right name, for whatever reason, old makeup, pencil shavings or crayon. It’s a firm solid love for me. It’s so dusty, powdery, elegant and comforting. It has nothing to do with You from Glossier or Not a perfume from JHAG. To my nose is very unique. It does have a floral undertone, but the top note is dust (not powder, dust haha). You have at least to try it and have it as an olfactory experience.

It's definitely nostalgic, it reminds me of school days as it smells just like a brand new paper pack or a pack of crayons. It's musky and pleasant. I agree that it leans feminine and it did not get my attention in the beginning, but it grew on me. After a few minutes the pink pepper starts to show. It is more a skin scent and it does not project loudly.

Strange new scent to me, difficult to describe. Kinda pleasant, smells like childhood...crayons, chalk, plastic dolls, a comfy hug from grandma. A consignment shop w/ vintage perfumes in old-fashioned bottles w/ faded labels. Freshly sharpened colored pencils & construction paper scattered about in a children’s Bible Study room in a dank church basement. Potpourri in an antique porcelain bowl atop a counter at the country store. Smelling this scent is to travel back to a time of calm, comfort & contentment. Nostalgia describes it perfectly. 😌

Nostalgia é um perfume que, a princípio, me gerou um certo "estranhamento". Ele possui uma saída que "assusta" bastante, sinto um cheiro de alguma criança pintando desenho com lápis de cor na casa de sua vó, com um toque bem vintage. Depois que ele evolui, sinto cheiro de boneca de porcelana, tipo aquelas guardadas na gaveta, pra mim é um cheiro bem reconfortante e almiscarado. No geral, gostei bastante do perfume, mas não agradará todo mundo. Durabilidade: 6 a 7 hrs (é variável) Aroma: 7/10

My husband adores this fragrance, describing it as a "boss lady" scent. It's distinctly feminine, with a soft and delicate scent where the musk isn't overpowering and nicely done. I find it reminiscent of Rose 01 by Swiss Arabian, but without the sharpness that I didn't quite enjoy in the Rose 01 scent.

Very interesting fragrance! For the first half hour I get a very noticeable smell of pencil shavings mixed with crayons. A bit unusual, but it's more pleasant than you'd expect. It dries down to a woody, ambery, clean, skin musk. Very comfy and pleasant. Projection is intimate, but it's expected.

This smells very similar to L'Eau Papier. It has the same opening but a different drydown. It opens up with butter and feathery soft parchment paper. This quickly disappears and then you're left with a creamy musk and black pepper drydown. Not a fan of the black pepper, and I wish the opening lasted longer. It completely disappears in a few minutes. Smelled and tested it on my skin at a Granado kiosk in the mall. Smell: 6 out of 10 Strength: 5 out of 10 Unisex, leaning feminine For reference, I'm female.

No way to describe it other than... this smells like chalk. I liked it, many of my friends didn't, but the general vibe is that this is a must-have if you want to smell like a school teacher or perhaps a classroom (in a chilly day without PE)

I got this through the discovery set by granado and this is by far my least favourite fragrance from the set, this smells like a freshly sharpened pencil, very dry musks, and overall just smells dusty.

I got no citrus just pepper over musk on my skin so definitely not for me but I found the lack of floral an interesting experience

It is nostalgic. It reminds me of getting my childhood vaccinations in clinic. Floor polish, wooden floors and somwthing medicinal. Quite pleasant but rather odd

Shockingly smells like a dupe of Diptyque’s fleur de peau. I would say it is like 90% the same. Love!!
