Giardino di Sorrento

Is one of my favorites in my collection. Is floral, summery, and it brings me joy when i wear it . Is good during summer but also now, when is winter time. Sillage and peristance are grate on me. Is a mix of many ingredients and I can fell the good quality of the products inside, concentration 30 % , but mostly I feel and love the jasmine. Is a classic , elegant smell, feminine, stylish, sexy.

Opening is very off puting. Smells like some kind of iris fragrance, reminds me of armani code. After few minutes it starts changing, developing into a more pleasant smell. Less iris and some hints of dryed fruits. In the dry down iris is kept, but you can barely feel it. It just becomes a very warm and comforting scent. Something very rich and mature. I kinda get flowers, but they're sweet, like smelling pollen

Imagine a sophisticated lady, dressed in '60s style flowing sky-blue dress, wearing large sunglasses and a white scarf in her hair. She’s driving a vintage convertible along the coastal road, passing the spectacular gardens of Miramare Castle, near Trieste. A slightly salty breeze rises from the sea, while the air is filled with floral aromas. On the shores of the Adriatic Sea — this is how the olfactory story of Giardino di Sorrento begins. The fragrance is noticeable right from the air, without needing to get close to the skin. It projects generously, and the slightly oily composition reveals the quality and high concentration of the ingredients. The opening is sweet and floral, with white flowers and a soft nectar-like base — a fine sweetness, far from anything gourmand. I would rather call it... a nectar of the gods — a luminous and refined base for the dominant white florals. Among the white florals in the opening, neroli and jasmine are the most prominent, while tuberose is rendered in a neutral and elegant way. The citrus touch is present only faintly at the start, like a bright whisper in the background. As the scent develops, a rosy sweetness emerges — reminiscent of small pink garden roses. It never becomes a rose perfume; the rose appears only briefly, just enough to bring a touch of elegance to the white florals. Then, the fragrance for just a few moments turns a bit ozonic, without losing its floral heart. It feels like a stroll through flowers by the sea — exactly like in the gardens of Miramare Castle. As the fragrance evolves, it reveals some surprises. Subtle woody notes emerge in the background, adding depth without overwhelming. A warm trace of amber follows, and in the drydown, the scent becomes creamy, rounded, and white floral, probably due to tonka bean and a gentle patchouli, just slightly spicy — not earthy at all. Giardino di Sorrento is a fragrance with personality — opulent yet refined, floral yet well-structured. It has an elegant, sophisticated presence that’s impossible to ignore. Also I must mention that the image of the lady in her 60s dress and her convertible on the Italian coast doesn't mean this is an “old lady” perfume. On the contrary — it's a unique kind of elegance, specific to that era, which I perceive as refined, stylish, and timeless.

Giardino di Sorrento from @grande_perfumes_2021 opens like a walk through the Amalfi Coast at dusk. The old stone walls still hold the warmth of the day, and the air carries that unmistakable mix of jasmine, lemons, oranges, and tuberose drifting lazily on the breeze. It’s the kind of place that makes you pause... and this fragrance captures that moment perfectly. From my perspective, this is a clean, radiant white floral with real character. The tuberose and jasmine feel smooth and natural, never sharp, never overly polished—just raw, bright, and beautifully alive. There is a gentle sweetness to the composition that brings a subtle Middle Eastern edge, a warm undercurrent that adds depth without pushing it into anything too heavy. What really caught me off guard is the rose. It doesn’t read like a classic feminine rose at all. Instead, it comes through as a soft crimson breeze, almost like a whisper in the background, adding color and richness without stealing the spotlight. It’s unisex, yes, but on a man it feels especially refined—quiet confidence, clean lines, and a touch of mystery. The sillage hangs in the air with an effortless elegance, never loud but always memorable. A stunning white floral with soul.

Honestly, the lady below did a fantastic job describing this! Marius and Alex really knocked it out of the park with this one. It’s such high-quality juice that feels both natural and elevated, especially with its impressive sillage. Just a heads-up, it does have a classical vibe, which I love! I'm absolutely thrilled with the mix of Ylang, Jasmine, and Tuberose. Sometimes, the tuberose reminds me of Sir Winston from Bortnikoff, which is such a sweet memory. I’d definitely call this my little gem and one of my best finds for 2025. Cheers!
