Pafory Advent Calendar 2025 – Day 22 First impression: a controlled rush. It opens bright and sunlit - pineapple, bergamot, mango - juicy and confident. Just as it starts to settle, the spices cut in. Saffron and nutmeg bring heat and texture, while cypress keeps everything sharp, green, and upright. Energetic, but disciplined. Nothing feels accidental. The heart is where I hesitate - and where it gets interesting. Violet and hyacinth, notes I usually love for their cool, refined elegance, are pushed up against clove and cumin. Floral meets warm, slightly savoury spice. There’s tension here. A little friction. I’m not fully convinced by the combination, but I can’t deny the pull of that clash - it creates heat, movement, and personality. The base is the real win. Amber and moss glow softly, grounded by balsam, musk, and a steady thread of vetiver. Skin-like, earthy, quietly sensual. It doesn’t project loudly - it stays close, leaving a polished, confident trail. This feels like a quiet power play. Low-frequency, controlled, deliberate. A neon secret humming in the dark - slick, heated, slightly disorienting. It doesn’t chase attention or raise its voice. It just sits there, dense and magnetic, pulling you in until the edges soften and you realise you’re already under its spell. Full review to follow. Niche December Contestant 22: This is a complex scent with a fruity-(citric?)-spicy opening, and even more spicy middle and base. Somehow reminds me of some designers, but with a much better quality of ingredients, incredible performance with good projection and amazing longevity. Preferable to wear during colder times of the year, as this scent is strong and might become overwhelming during summer heat. I like that, 8.5/10.

It starts with bergamot and a grassy cypress in the open that becomes extremely tropical in the heart with pineapple, mango, saffron, clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, and probably some other spices. There's some tropical floral notes as well, but I can't quite pick them out. In the base I get a continuation of the spices with some heavy cumin, moss, vetiver, and patchouli.

All I’ll say is I can’t stop sniffing myself. This will quickly become one of my favourites

Ganymede + fruity notes and spices. But there's a slightly off-putting medicinal and 'bread' note to my nose. Not bad, need to get more wear out of it.
