Tomato Leaf

Don't let the low price fool you, this is a great fragrance. I love green scents and this is one of the best I've come across, way better than many of the expensive ones I've tried. It opens very green and sharp, with a hint of citrus and a definite 'zing' from the rhubarb, then it mellows out just a little. The tomato leaf and rhubarb present strongly on me, the verbena and olive blossom stay in the background but are noticeable. There is no sweetness at all, and the scent remains green through to the mossy drydown. Longevity and sillage are moderate on me. This is a unique fragrance, not for everybody - but if you love green aromatic scents, give this one a try!

More of a sharp, green tomato leaf. So not like a typical Italian vine tomato leaf note, which one can find in the perfume "From The Garden" or "L'Ombre Dans L'Eau" . So imagine this perfume to me more green, like an unripe tomato. It's therefor incredibly fresh, spicy and green. It's amazing wearing it. Very interesting. I love it!

I love this one, very natural, green and actually complex, as others have described. I enjoy occasionally mixing this with Balenciaga’s Florabotanica!!! And sometimes Dita von Teese’s Erotique... And sometimes all 3

Having not ever smelled anything from Great American Scents before last week, I was concerned that Tomato Leaf would be similar to Demeter. In other words, smells accurate, but doesn’t last more than 5 minutes. But I was wrong. I smell mostly verbena and leaves, and it definitely smells very natural, straight from a garden. (Tomato Leaf reminds me of Trefle Pur by Atelier Cologne, only with more flavor.) Yes, the bottle might look tacky, but I like the Americana look. Overall, I really like Tomato Leaf. Different, yet familiar. So far, not one “dislike”.

This is my favorite of the Great American sampler pack, I've nearly used all of it up. It is definitely unisex, and has a bracing element that I enjoy in cologne. You have to like green scents to like this, as the green scent of rhubarb simply shifts into the scent of tomato leaf that never leaves the scene, but is rounded out by plush red tomato fruit. Of the scents Great American has to offer, I find this the most well blended and natural. It lasts 3 hours on me; I believe that I'll buy a full bottle to join my other summertime refreshment scents.
