Cabotine Rose

I've been looking for another rose, something different from my trusty Stellas, and the bottle & reviews sold me on Gres. Truly this bottle is a joy to behold, so heavy and light at the same time. The juice inside harmonizes perfectly with this bottle. It's so rose, so floral, from the get-go that I literally felt as though I'd stuck my face into some of the old-fashioned sea roses that grow wild here on the New England coast. During the opening there is just a hint of pear & orange, hardly there and in no way subtracting from that glorious rose. Gres Cabotine Rose settles quickly but never gives up her rose notes. A few hours into wear I can pick up the other florals, most specifically the cherry blossom, but still no pepper or sandalwood. Time will tell today if she has lasting power, or if those spices will show up, but sillage is very well done. She projects, but that's just fine. Who in the world would find this glorious bouquet offensive? EDIT: Longetivity is about 5-6 hours or more depending on how much I've applied. I am so in love with this fragrance I've adopted it as my signature. Beautiful Cabotine Rose, I reach for her again and again, neglecting the rest of my wardrobe.

This is a lovely, fresh and light spring scent. After I spreyed it and was immediately reminded of blossoming cherry trees on a sunny yet a bit chilly spring day. Really enchanting! I would have called it pettals or as in the top note - cherry blossoms. Though it is said that the fragrance develops with time and I just opened my bottle so I will update if it changes. After a while the powder and rose become a bit more pronounced and you are teleported to a spring evening, the sun is going down and you smell the heavy and intoxicating plum blossoms. I know it is the rose with the powder but that is the feeling I get - heavy powderry pettals but still light in their nature. I really like fragrances that take you on a small trip and this seems to be one which suprised me considering the price point. Definetly recommend if you like fresh and light florals! Great for spring! Or if you want to be reminded of cherry flower viewing. Not so much if you are looking for a strong rose scent, at least not for a fresh bottle.

Like some of the other reviewers here, this was a blind buy, based on my affection for the original Cabotine (my Tendre Poison substitute). This rose flanker is a new favourite! Light, soft, feminine and powdery rose tones with cherry blossom and something a little woody underneath, it sits close to the skin and lasts an age. The fruity top notes don't last long on me, and it's not too sweet, but the pear makes a reappearance in the base notes, which was unexpected (I bought it based on people's reviews here). The morning after I wore it for the first time, my shoulders smelt of musk, sandalwood and pear. The notes I don't really get are vetiver, frangipani or pink pepper, but this may be more to do with my nose than the lack of their presence - it feels very well blended. Dare I say, better blended than the original cabotine...I just feel very fresh when I wear this perfume, it's as though it is part of me and although I like a lot of fragrances, not many have that effect.

Cabotine Rose is light, unassuming and delicate. Although this fragrance does not project in the slightest, the lasting power on the skin is better than many EDTs and stays noticeable on my skin for about 3-4 hours. It also lasts beautifully on clothing and is perfect to spray on your pajamas to wake up to a fresh, uplifting scent in the morning. Although many have mentioned cherry blossom, the opening is a strong rose note to me. You may think, why purchase Cabotine Rose when I could achieve a similar effect with simple rose water? But the beauty is in the dry down, where the citrus notes bloom with a slight musk that is reminiscent of Dolce & Gabbana's Light Blue. It is a dirt cheap scent and definitely worth your money if you're looking for a light rosy, citrusy scent for spring and cooler summer days.

Cherry blossom and frangipani-so sweet and fresh dominate this lovely fragrance. "Rose" is certainly a shampoo smell in the absolute best way possible. There is a subtle waft of actual rose, but it does not overpower. The musk is nearly nonexistent, and certainly not animalic. Should you be looking for a realistic rose, please look elsewhere-this is more a feeling name than a flower-it feels like a favorite dusky rose shirt with lace or a ruffle, clean and fresh, that makes you feel like a "girly-girl". Light- you can not spray too much. Low on the "headache factor". Work safe and absolutely lovely.In fact, this is equally lovely in warm or cool weather...and...the price is extremely right. For less than 10 US dollars-reapply every 4 hours if you feel the need.Please; I'd love to smell you.

Recently purchased 100 mls of this from Cheap Smells for a silly price. Firstly the bottle is very cute and heavy with a pretty floral cap - secondly the smell is divine! I love florals and this light, sparkling scent is unlike anything I've worn before. Yes, its floral and I can certainly smell the rose and cherry blossom but there are delicious notes to this scent that are just gorgeous. It has a warmth to it and is slightly spicy although not in any way heavy. I don't get much fruit (which I don't mind) just a cashmere soft, peppery floral that lasts well and has good sillage. I spritzed this morning and at lunch time its still going strong. Recommended for anyone who wants a floral, feminine but not too girly scent!

I adore this fragrance. It is beautiful and fresh. I was looking for a Rose fragrance for Spring and decided on this and Guerlain's Aqua Allegoria Flora Rosa. They are both Rose-Berry fragrances but they are quite different. This one is fresher and more complex than Flora Rosa. The Rose is there but not over the top as it is blended perfectly with the other many notes. The Cherry Blossom in this is not overbearing and adds to the overall lightness. The Mimosa and Peony are two of my favorite notes and Cabotine Rose's other more noticeable floral notes. It has a mild soapiness that is not cloying at all. It lasts all day and its sillage is moderate. 9/10

I do not understand the bad reviews or maybe to say fake reviews. I do not purchase toilette fragrances at all because they only last a minute. I adore this fragrance with the Roses, apricots, pears, white musk, honeysuckle, violets at the first notes. This is better than a $100 designer Rose eau de perfume. This is the fragrance I was looking for to wear 2019 spring -early fall daytime only. This is a natural spray which is amazing with the size of the bottle and ingredients. I shall ignore the fake negative reviews and use the Fragrantica break down of the notes which help me select this Cabotine Rose.

When I was a senior in high school, my boyfriend bought me a set of floral perfumes. A set of little .5oz scents from Victoria's Secret. I think there were 5 of them I liked them all but loved the freesia and the rose scent. One spritz of this light floral scent and it takes me back to carefree days and my first love. Amazing! I love it! All I smell is roses, fresh, watery and light. Longevity is not great and the sillage is moderate, but it is so inexpensive you can afford to use it with abandon if you wish. This doesnt smell cheap, it smells like a rose garden after a rain storm.

I've been looking for some pleasant rose perfume and got this one eventually at Marshalls. I've had it already for a month or two, but started using only this week. When I just bought it I did not like the fragrance as I smelled a lot of pepper which I did not enjoy and could not distinct a pure rose note. However, I gave it a second try recently and did not regret. I love it - fresh, soft, sweet floral. I smell different flowers in it and it makes me happy!) Great perfume for such low price. Doesn't smell cheap to me at all!

I did not know this perfume and I bought it because it was on sale...I am very happy about it, I love it! I was very surprised cause I hate the green one which I think is loud and harsh... It's a fruity-floral, very feminine. I have been looking for a rose perfume that is not ALL about roses, and this one works great. Rose-sherry blossom-peony-pear-pepper is what I get the most. I have decided it would become my summer scent! AND....yes I am in my 40s and NO, I do not think I am too old to wear this ;-)

I really appreciate this pleasant rose scent. It does smell like other flowers as well but rose is very prominent. I was so pleased that there are no citrus notes that dominate the fragrance. The rose in this perfume is the star. I also have different Stellas (bought them all unsniffed based on glowing reviews) but IMHO Cabotine Rose outshines them all. I believe it would have much higher rating if it had higher price tag. Cabotine Rose is a wonderful perfume. LOVE It!

This is a sweet, feminine fragrance. The rose is delicate and balanced perfectly with cherry blossom and peony and fruity notes. The fragrance did not change for a couple of hours, then it lightened and added musk and wood. The Sillage was far, but light And pleasant. At 12 hours, i can still pick up very faint notes, mostly musk. I would wear this fragrance on outings wirh my son, or with friends. She has earned a permanent spot in my wardrobe.

This is a musky and very sweet rosy floral. She is soft but powerful and you only need 2 sprays to appreciate its sweetness. It is refreshing to find such a powerful perfume for such a bargain price! I have one other Gres perfume (Cabotine) and it seems that this perfume house makes strong perfume that lasts. I find this a great change from the watered down perfumes that are all too common.

When it comes to every day casual wear rose scents, this is a winner. No matter how many of those I buy, I always come back to cabotine rose. So beautiful!!Like rose petals in cold water with something like makeup, lipstick cosmetic smell...It's great for the summer,all day long,after shower and as a bedtime scent.

So fresh and lovely! I put this on first thing in the morning just as a pick me up and reapply during the day. Never overwhelms. Constant compliments. So inexpensive as to be ridiculous, but the scent never smells cheap. You{ll never be sorry to have it in your collection.

I love this my new discovery very much. It smells for me like herbal tea, faded flowers, and maybe dried fruits. There’s something both gothic and deeply feminine in it. I think it is suitable for any age. Probably not unisex, but might be. Absolutely gorgeous.

It's totally beautiful !!! It reminds me about my favorite scent when I was a child. Classic and girly enough for 16 to 20 years old. The bottle looks so cute, I love this so much, and I also love the Blue one, but it has been discontinued for years, so sad :(

It's the kind of perfume that I would wear with a floral sundress to meet the boyfriend's parents for the first time or to go on a romantic, spring date. It is very feminine and appropriate. Spray this on yourself and you will instantly feel pretty.

A Nod to Yesteryear: Add a dash of rain, a few dryer sheets, & a couple of drops of sweet rose water..... Stir it all in & you have a wonderfully clean naturally sweet beautiful fragrance!

Perfection. A beautiful, versatile, sheer floral fragrance that is suitable for any age or environment, great for spring and summer but can be worn all year.

I'm not a fan of the original Cabotine and some of the other flankers from this line, but one thing I can say about all that I've tried, none of them smell synthetic or cheap, despite the cheap price. But being synthetic was never the issue for me, though it would have been an immediate deal breaker. I was just never thrilled with any of the compositions, especially of the original which I found overwhelmingly heavy. This fragrance is at the opposite end of the spectrum. It is airy and light. I've had this one for some time now and only wore it once. I decided to try it again last night after my shower. While it didn't knock my socks off, I must conceded it is pretty and as nice as some similar composed higher priced perfumes. A simple watery rose, cherry blossom, and peony is highlighted with a touch of fruit, and lightly supported by other florals, none of which I honestly can recognize. It eventually dries down to a soft, slightly soapy, powdery rose. Not overwhelming and a little better than a skin scent, but it is noticeable. Lasts for ages as I could still smell it when I woke up this morning. It brings to mind other perfumes in the same vein, like Versace's Bright Crystal, Marilyn Miglin's Bombshell, Dior's Sakura, and some from Guerlain's Aqua line, though this has better silage and longevity than most of them. The “This Reminds Me” list above is very telling of how many perfumes are out there that smell similar to this, so if you have this you can probably do without some of them. You'll certainly save a lot of money doing so. Personally, I think this is a fresh and clean casual scent that will be nice to wear in the heat of the summer, when anything heavier might be too much to bear. I actually like it. It seems I am a fan of at least one Cabotine after all.

Cabotine Rose is fragrance that evokes innocence. It reminds me of little girls in white Jessica McClintock dresses going to their first Communion on a beautiful spring day in the beginning of April, when the cherry blossoms begin to flower. The advertisement for the original Cabotine shows a young girl giggling while balancing the bottle on the tip of her nose, perfectly embodying the free-spirited Cabotine and Cabotine Rose. Cabotine is bubbly, girly, innocent, playful, and she doesn't take herself too seriously. She is the kind of girl who runs across the lawn barefoot chasing butterflies. As she says, "Je suis comme je suis" (I am who I am). The opening starts with lots and lots of sparkly cherry blossom and mimosa. The rose is there, faintly, in the background, but it is not prominent. As the fragrance dries down, it becomes more powdery and clean and then, after an hour or two, turns to something slightly chemical on my skin. It doesn't last long or project well, at least on me it doesn't. Although I find Cabotine Rose more pleasant than her older and much more difficult sister Cabotine, I am more intrigued by Cabotine and find her much more interesting. Like another reviewer mentioned, the low price point for this fragrance can cause people to approach Cabotine and Cabotine Rose with prejudice. Don't. The price does not reflect the quality of the Gres perfume house. This is a great perfume if you just want to smell fresh, girly, and innocent, not fruity or sexy or dark and mysterious. Cabotine Rose is a great perfume for both a young girl or a girl who is young at heart.

Very clean, fresh, watery rose--and I tend to prefer a watery rose to a stronger, oilier rose, so that's not a negative for me! After a quick rubbing alchohol moment on initial spray, it presents as crisp, light, fruity. I get mostly pear for the fruits, and then more cherry blossom than rose once the flowers show up. It soon turns soapy, but definitely more on the side of a Caress or Dove soap as opposed to a Chanel No 5 soapiness. There's a little "dryer sheet" that sneaks in later on; but on the whole, it stays fresh, light, crisp, clean. Sillage and longevity, I'm not exactly sure about. I often feel like I can't smell it after the first hour unless I press my nose to my arm, but then I'll be catching sporadic wafts of it up to 12 hours later. There was one day when I had done quite a generous second spraying at lunchtime since the fragrance had disappeared to my nose that morning, and my coworker said he could tell I was there as soon as he walked into the room because he could smell perfume. When I asked if it was in a good way, he evaluated it as "pretty and light" and said he liked it. Cabotine Rose is great for hot days or days when you want to smell shower fresh with a light fruity-floral bent. I could also see it being good for layering with something that you want to perk up a little. You can spray quite a lot without it ever becoming cloying or overbearing--and with the price tag, why not? I am happy to have this in my collection and could see myself repurchasing in the future.

Cabotine Rose is a pretty perfume with a light, clean, soft, almost soapy vibe. It's quite linear with no development but this is doesn't mean it should be a negative thing. As a matter of fact I like this perfume a lot especially during the days when I feel like I don't need something complex and sophisticated to wear I rather you opt for a simple, floral-fruity scent that doesn't overwhelm the senses and doesn't offend anyone close to you. Being that it's an EDT I didn't expect much of sillage and longevity but it stays on colthes though for a long time. On my skin, even after applying the moisterizer it fades away quite qickly, but I noticed that you can have the best of it if applying to the clothes instead. In this case, I smell wafts of the scent during all day and it makes me happy because it is somehow a happy girl scent. I've applied it now during autumn time but it would be far more appropriate during spring and summer time when the weather is warmer and I could benefit more of it. I applied it on my pyjamas before going to sleep and I must say that it has an impressive longevity on clothes. I kept smelling wafts of it all night. Besides it developed into a more creamy floral-fruity which I loved. Even after a few days later the perfume is still there and I can't wait to put on my pyjamas.

Cabotine Original (green) is possibly my fave summer floral ot there- the giddy combination of notes I swoon over every time. I don't find Cabotine Rose in the same league, however. I just can't smell much in the way of complexity; It's just too thin and watery and presents itself more like a Calgon body spray to my sense of smell; a letdown because I adore sweet, romantic rose fragrances. I was surprised! This flanker smells so similar to so ridiculously many after bath toiletries, I am surprised Gres felt the need to release this. Gres makes two of the most interesting and addictive scents out there; Cabochard to satisfy my more sophisticated cravings for green and smoky Chypres best worn in cooler weather, and then there's Cabotine, with it's heady and exotic lily- perfect for those free spirited days going to the beach on the spur of the moment during the sometimes equally unpredictable, warm off-season California days. Presently, the rosey scent I crave is the tender and lovely Tresor, with that peach and violet accord slipped in there to make it sweetly irresistable. As my fragrance tastes and sense of smell have been known to shift and develop, I will keep Cabotine Rose and revisit it occassionally.

This is so very nice! The opening is something as unusual as realistic fruits- sweet mandarine and tender black currant and pear that for a change smells like pear and not slushy. I right away smell bright, sweet rose and the gentlest, most subdued tuberose- Oh, I adore when tuberose is like this! Here it ́s the TINIEST bit mentholated and it ́s greenish. No cloying creaminess or milky feel at all (nothing wrong with that, but this way of using tuberose appeals more to me). It ́s really yummy how one can smell the separate flowers and fruits all the time here! Mimosa rounds it down while lily sharpens it and it manages to be BOTH soulful and sharp-ish. Not sour in the least if anyone wonders. I don ́t really know what makes it so watery and almost ozonic as well- there is no lotus or calone in it and it does not have that screechy melon-tang at all. Clean musk and woods and a little bit of vetiver rounds it up. I mixes wonderfully with clean true rose scents like Paul Smith Rose or Jo Malone, but it stands really well by itself. I can ́t help but thinking that this is the way Calvin Klein ́s summer fragrances should smell like and not like they actually do!

I was actually wary of buying this fragrance because I’ve seen it around at discount stores and wasn’t quite sure if I should take the plunge and buy it, but I’m glad I did finally. Cabotine Rose starts with mandarin and black currant opening, then the cherry blossom starts emerging settles down into a crisp floral where I mostly smell rose mixed with some other floral notes that I cannot quite distinguish. This is a very fresh and clean scent that is girly and very pleasant to my nose and it’s a fragrance that is very easy to wear. It is still pretty warm where I live so I can still see myself wearing this for a bit longer till is gets chilly or whenever I’m in the mood for it, but I definitely think this is great for spring and summer. The longevity on my skin is about 4-5 hours, which is not too bad for how good of a deal the bottle is. I would also consider this a skin scent because of how light and refreshing it is. I think this would be a safe buy if you enjoy floral perfumes.

A lovely little perfume in an adorable cute bottle. At fist it reminded me of Eau de Dolce Vita, but I can't figure out why. Maybe it was the pear note with the touch of pepper? The scent brings me back to my grandma's garden. As a little girl I loved to walk in the wet grass in the morning and putting my nose - or precisely, my whole face - into the bloom of her pale rose roses. I remember that feeling. The rose petals were cold and wet, covered with drops of dew. The scent was fresh and just a little sweet, much less sweet than the scent of a red rose, but not as soft as the scent of a white rose. Cabotine Rose captures the scent of the dewy rose, fresh, transparent and a kind of cold, mixed with the sweet scent of cherry blossom and spiced up with a little bit of pepper. Not as interesting as the original Cabotine but still very well done and expensive smelling fragrance.

I blind bought this because of the price (obviously) and also I have tried the original cabotine and cristallisme (the purple one) and looooved them. I am no expert so I can never explain the notes and give a sophiscated description but here goes. First of all, the longevity is great I sprayed it on my wrist before I went to bed just to see and I could still smell a tiny bit of it the next morning! Secondly, it does match the notes given below in the composition. Personally I could smell the cherry blossom the most. Lastly I don't know why but it also smells a little watery, so a little disappointing. Overall, to me this one is sugary and watery cherry blossom so I would recomment this to a teenager or even early twenty something college girls but I feel too old for this. I am gonna keep it cause it still is a nice change to my collection.

Cab Rose smells a lot more like mimosa to me than rose. I was surprised at the burst of pepper when I first sprayed it on, but it quickly subsided. I can detect cherry blossom and a sort of bubblegum quality that would make this a great "first" perfume for a young lady (not that age matters because anyone can wear this with confidence). I personally don't think Cab Rose smells like soap, but I can see how others might view it that way because of it's fresh and clean quality. It doesn't really seem like perfume at all. Like Cab Gold, I can easily distinguish top, middle, and base notes. Also like Cab Gold, I don't like the drydown so much. The vetiver kinda ruins it for me. I wish it lasted longer on my skin too. I don't detect any sandalwood or musk, but those notes would definitely save the drydown for me.

I'm wearing this now and don't think it is anything special, mainly because of the composition is not particularly inspiring. On initial spray I smell an effervescent citrus; lemon peel in particular. I then smell what's trying to imitate a rose, with some other vague florals and mixed fruit, that frankly I can't exactly figure out what. Then I get hit with cheap musk and every other note takes a backseat to that. This could have been a nice fragrance if it was more concentrated and better-quality ingredients used. As it is now, it is very basic and generic. There are lots of other options available in a similar price range that are much better than this. Kim Kardashian's Rose Fatale is a much better fruity rose floral in the same price range.

Lovely, fresh, light, although a tiny bit soapy to my nose :) Very pretty. Came across this fragrance as a lady customer walked into my work and caught a waft of spring blossoming. I could smell this from a good distance with my colleague, who also thought that smell was delightful! I was a little shy asking the lady about what she was wearing, I am always a little concerned the question comes across as nosey, as quite a few people don't like revealing their perfume. Anyway, my colleague decided to go and ask her, which she answered. So I went testing, and bought a bottle! :) I enjoy it, but for some reason I find it a little loud on me. I think it's more spring/summer appropriate, it mixes in delightfully with a warm breeze.

Cabotine rose is a delightful, fresh and startling pretty rose. I don't smell any of the fruit, which is a plus for me. it is not sweet; also a plus. What it is, is a blissful blend of light florals. The cherry blossoms, peonies and mimrose combine into a refreshingly bouquet. On me, there is also a sense of green, which freshens what otherwise might be a heavy floral. The dry down is really quite elegant due to the vetiver, adding just the right amount of sophistication without making the scent too serious. I will definitely wear this on hot summer days when I want a breath of pure cool floral bliss and fun in the heat. Sillage is moderate Longevity could be a bit longer lasting but it is so lovely, it's fun to reapply.

This was a blind buy, and from the very first spray it instantly took me back to the original Cabotine by Grès—but in a softer, rosier, more watery version. It’s definitely lighter, with just a subtle touch of vintage in the background. Still, it feels very wearable for everyday use, for anyone. It’s clean, delicate, and unlikely to bother anyone around you. Projection is quite intimate, so you can spray generously without worrying. It sits close to the skin and gives off that gentle, comforting aura. I really enjoyed it. It’s perfect for warm, sunny days, right after a shower, or even before bed. It has that elegant “clean” smell from a time that feels like it doesn’t quite exist anymore.

I bought a large bottle of Cabotine Rose from Ross about 5 years ago. I used to wear it quite a bit, not so much anymore as my perfume collection has "blossomed"..... I decided that today I felt like wearing rose and I grabbed my bottle and sprayed liberally. Oh no! It had gone bad, I could smell that it definitely was off. Sadly I threw it away. I remember that it was a beautiful rose forward fragrance supported by other notes that made it interesting yet not complex. It always was soft on my skin and easy to wear. Since I have other rose fragrances I probably won't be buying another bottle of this but I am happy that I have good memories of this sweet floral fragrance.

To my tropical country nose, this is very floral but not cloying type of fragrance and definitely very summer-y if there is such a word! I love the soft rose whisper- like first burst when you initially spray this on your skin,. In about the next 30 mins after initial spray, you will be surrounded by a beautiful rose and cherry blossom combination, its very feminine without being loud. Perfect for the rose lover who like me, wants to smell the roses scent throughout my day and yet, wants to keep low key and not annoy anybody. Great daytime, summer scent without all the fuss.. A 4 out of a 5 for me.. Nice!!

I thought my collection of rose perfumes was complete. I discovered I was wrong when I received a bottle of this as a gift. A gossamer rose overlaying a breeze filled with sweet berries and soft tropical florals. Not your typical fruity floral. Absolutely darling, gentle, and enchanting. What amazes me more is its longevity- I can smell it over 8 hours after I've sprayed it! The dry down is a bit more bitter than the initial scent. The vetiver emerges and it begins to remind me a bit of Hermes' . I noticed not all reviewers share the longevity. I have drier skin, perhaps that might make a difference.

Credits to nathalieZ for letting me test this one out. A nice, sweet, retro floral fruity. I call it retro because it smelled like sth familiar from my childhood days during the early 90's which unfortunately, I couldn't remember what it was. My nose couldn't particularly point out any of the notes listed, but this frag def smells like a bunch of pretty flowers with sparkling fruity notes, with a retro like quality. Above all this is a good frag with a good price. The sillage is good and the longevity is up until 5hours+ on my skin. A must try for floral fruity lovers out there.

I am very curious about Cabotine line. And this Cabotine Rose is the first I tried. Yes I like rose, and would be very easy for me to like various rose fragrance. I think this fragrance is simple, classic, reminds me of the perfume in the past.. but I can not remember what it is exactly, does anyone know? If you like rose, I’m sorry to tell you that rose was not the major player here, but the combination with cherry blossom and peony make it nice and likeable. It is feminine, classic, simple and not attention maker. Suitable to wear to the office every day.

This is a very simple, straight-forward little rose scent that stays well within its genre of clean-smelling, lightly floral, totally inoffensive and wearable scents. In fact, it almost borders on boring, but the bottle, and especially the cap are so adorable, it's worth having around, if for no other reason then to just admire on top of your dresser. If you want to buy perfume for someone and have no idea of their taste this would be an excellent, fail-safe choice due to its universal appeal. Only downside is the staying power.

Easy-to-like fragrance. I smell a lot of jasmine & frangipani along with the rose. There are many pretty flower smells and none are really overwhelming to my nose. I'm not getting a lot of fruit; it's just there as a background note & not sweet which I like. There is a note of pepper which is nice because it perks everything up. No patchouli- yea! The base notes are very subtle just providing a table for this vase of pretty flowers. This is a really nice bright rose perfume.

Sweetness of youth, cheerfulness, innocent but passionate. That’s my interpretation of this perfume. Cabotine Rose takes me back to my teenage when I couldn’t wait to get older, so ready for everything to come, not knowing how destructive adult life could be. Being naive at teenage is rather a beautiful thing in life. Cheery blossom, mimosa, tuberose, jasmine, frangipani and rose: you can imagine how sweet and bright Cabotine Rose is. Smells shampoo-ish but not in a bad way.

To me definitely smells like rose at first then blooms into a cherry-blossom peony and other florals with a dusting of pepper and even less musk... I do sense something citrusy actually immediately after the floral. That all I can recognize. I do like it a lot. Definitely spring/summer fragrance without a doubt. It's very light and pretty easy to like. Hard to mess up. :) is a bit soapy/fabric softer.... If only they smelled this good...

I tried original Cabotine and though hhmmm this one is more up my alley due to rose note. So I decided to purchase it. Zesty rose at first, mid way becomes slightly musky and disappears fast. Longevity 1-2 hours. Daytime, good for summer but I think it would be better for cooler weather. I do not get cosmetic/make-up vibe which I was hoping for. Overall, this rose scent is okay, that's all.

I used to wear this perfume during my high school days. I bought it again today to give to my mum, after more than five years without smelling it. I loved it back then and, so far, I still love it. It’s super fresh, feminine, floral and smells a bit like shampoo. It’s very cheap and lasts a long time on both skin and clothes. It’s super, super lovely and pleasant! My mum is so happy! 😊

I ordered this a couple weeks ago after reading reviews on here for I was looking for a fresh, fun spring scent. This is perfect in every way and I love it! It reminds me a little of Bath and Body Works Cherry Blossom but I like this one more. It's soft but still has good sillage/longevity and I feel so clean when I have it on like I just got out of the shower. So pretty and feminine!

Too soapy for me, but those who are into roses + other flowers + citrus may like this. I like the balance though: rose is what you definitely smell first, but overall the scent is well-rounded as other flowers and citrus kicks in in a couple of minutes. If I were into flowers - I'd add it to my "favorites", otherwise let my aunt appreciate it. PS: charming bottle

A very beautiful rose fragrance. Smells exactly like Elizabeth Ardens' Pretty. I have them both on my vanity and yes, they do smell identical. Silage is arms length. Longevity for me is about 3 to 4 hours. This is a perfect Spring and Summer fragrance on a warm beautiful day. Perfect for work as well. A very beautiful feminine soft comforting rosey scent.

I expected a rose bomb tbh but I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and floral it smells. I honestly don't even get much rose. It's very light, not offensive, can wear to work or the gym. Seems like it would be good for a hot summer day since it isn't heavy at all and smells very fresh. Generic but pleasant and I got it for a very good price.
