Aqua Incanta

The opening is very similar to Flower by Kenzo, and at first I was put off by the same sharp rose in both perfumes (I don't love rose). But within ten minutes it became the most gorgeous compact powder, lovely iris-vanilla scent I have ever smelled. And with such a beautiful bubble of sillage. It smells even better from afar, and I can tell I'm leaving a trail, it moves with me. It smells like an old hollywood actress dressed in pearls and gloves who's just powdered her face and freshened her lipstick and has just kissed you on the cheek and left her elegant scent behind that makes you fall head over heels for her. Wow, I'm in love. In 3-4 hours it dries down to something very similar to LT Piver's Heliotrope Blanc, another favorite of mine. I do wish the middle stage stuck around a bit longer but I'm still very glad to have this nostalgic but wearable gem. Update: wore this on my wedding day! :) and yes, I did wear gloves and pearls.

It's a YES for me! Be warned, if you're not looking for POWDER - this is going to disappoint you. I, on the other hand, am someone who has LOVED the smell of baby powder (this is not exactly baby powder, though it does remind me of it) since I was a child...and although I have other "powders" in my fragrance collection, NUMBER ONE has to go to this! From the initial blast - for me - it's a cool, not too sweet, not too flower-y, not too much of every other thing going on in it, DRY, straight POWDER fragrance - period! My eyes roll to the back of my head when I sniff this. I love this!

My first impression of it, is that it was a powder bomb. A very strong baby powder at first sniff but it will settle into a very soft vanilla-musk in the dry drown. With a slight iris lingers in the background. Not the lipsticky- iris that I am expecting it to be. I can smell myself the entire day wearing this during cold weather season. I sometimes wear it to bed with one spray, and my entire bed and pillows smell like it for a few days. PS: It is kinda headache inducing if you overspray.

I love the way babies smell and I can't have one so I have this perfume. I soft is better than the Lorenzo Villoresi version(teing de neige), more subtle. My husband is not crazy about this smell but he prefers this one over LV's. I love both of them.

This is so feminine and pretty. Powdery rose is what I'm getting. There's a creamy nuance to this too. I also smell Dove Soap, the original white bar. All of the above together in one. Powerful performance and lasts forever.

Aqua Incanta is a beautiful powdery soft scent! Very charming indeed... It’s mostly iris, powder, vanilla, benzoin, rose and amber. It’s not a cold iris, it’s a warm feeling fragrance with sweetness from vanilla and a rose feel. My type of iris. It’s slightly sweet but doesn’t get fully a gourmand scent! Feels very soft, velvety, smooth and well rounded. It’s not a massively projecting scent but it’s quite long lasting for such a delicate profile! Very feminine and precious feeling! I would loved personally if they would have done the bottle of Aqua Incanta into a more feminine colour to match the scent better than the classic black one! I see it quite often compared to Teint de Neige in the previous reviews but I am not familiar with that scent. I can say for sure that it’s very, very similar to something that I have already in my collection, Maubossin’s Une Histoire de Femme Sensuelle! Therefore, I don’t need Aqua Incanta...

What a great scent, but totally different to what the name suggested. Similar to Valentina Poudre. Very powdery. Scented talcum powder of a scent. It reminds me also about Chloe Love Intense, which is stronger. Rose is also prominent. Thanks to a rose it is fresh. There is also vanilla, benzoin, iris. All in elegant, great proportions. The scent is very appealing and sensual. Maybe indeed a scent of a pampered woman leaving a stuffy hotel room to cool down during summery evening.

Very femininine fragrance, not sweet, but chic. Really nice.

WOW This is definitely a big time powder bomb, I hate to say it but I think this is for a rather narrow female audience. It suits the vibe of a more specific type of person, not a safe buy for everyone (myself included), but it’s nice! It’s very baby powder-y, honestly just way too overtly feminine for me but would be perfect for my pink princess, vintage nightgown wearing sister!

Baby wipes and powder. That’s it. Gave me a headache and made me nauseous.

Aqua Incanta opens with a sensation of soft and sweet notes, in which the feeling of motherhood joins a round and elegant femininity. the name, which evokes the Latin, means more or less "water that enchants", and is absolutely appropriate. Iris and vanilla, are the predominant notes, accompanied by a tenacious and deep benzoin. Perfume that remains at high levels for at least eight hours, with great projection. suitable for all seasons as far as I'm concerned, but perfect in winter. less suffocating and sweeter than Teint de Neige, of which it is a very valid and perhaps better substitute, more elegant, more mature and feminine.

This is simply an Iris fragrance. No more, no less. Overwrought with powder from the first spray it eventually settles into an Iris perfume lovers dream. Unfortunately, I was hoping for more and I find it matronly and boring. I still like the House of Gritti's other offerings. ✨

Powder bomb and headache inducing. This smells almost exactly like Teint de Neige, but toned down a bit. The rose ruins it.
