🤯 Unpopular opinion: Aventus gives me migraines. I have a strong aversion, specifically a headache-inducing sensitivity, to Creed Aventus and the numerous fragrances that attempt to replicate its DNA. Decimo is an anomaly in this category. Although it is definitively not a clone or a dupe, the shared notes of bergamot and birch place it structurally nearest to Aventus. Imperatively, it is the only scent of this genre that my system finds completely bearable. I might actually like this tbh!

The notes in fragrantica are not correct, here's the real list: bergamot, blackcurrant,birch, patchouli,rose,ambergris,vanilla,musk. Insane quality, amazing performance: ladies love it! All you need in a male fragrance: start off very fresh with the blast of Bergamot and Black Currant, after 1h hour comes off birch,patchouly and ambergris...HIDDEN GEM 10/10

Decimo by Gritti is currently my favorite of all time! Masculine, classy, fresh, deepness of birch smell, everything just right for me! This is brilliant, thank you, Luca Gritti. Some say this has Creed Aventus DNA. I think the similarity only came in birch scent. Personally I think Decimo by Gritti has its own DNA.

Think of Aventus with more bite, masculine fresh, and powerful are all words that come to mind when I think of this fragrance. Aventus DNA but more birch and spice to give you a stronger presence.

Decimo – Gritti When I saw four of Decimo’s notes (bergamot, blackcurrant, birch, and ambergris), my first thought was: “Here we go again—this is playing in the league of Aventus and company.” And I nailed it 100%... But hold on, it’s not a blatant copy or a cheap clone. My very personal take: • It’s not as smoky as Aventus. • Not as fresh as Aventus Cologne. • Way less synthetic than Club de Nuit Intense. • And I’d say it’s very similar to Orion, but without that annoying birch note that always bothers me in Tiziana Terenzi’s version. In short, Decimo is like a Frankenstein stitched together from those four fragrances, with that well-worn DNA, but still with a clear audience that will enjoy it. I pick up the citrusy opening, but honestly, it doesn’t shine much because the patchouli quickly takes over, dominates the fragrance, and practically drowns out the other notes. The vanilla and florals? Forget it—they’re very much in the background, overshadowed by the woody and leathery notes that assert their character. The quality? Yes, you can tell it’s well-made. Versatility? Totally—this can be worn year-round without issue. And something I can’t overlook: the bottle is gorgeous, very display-worthy, very collectible. Compliments? Of course, because this type of scent has that proven “magnet effect” time and again. It won’t surprise anyone with something new, but it delivers on its promise, plus it’s powerful and has excellent longevity.

i have to be honest Guys, i'm sorry but this is a stright up copycat of aventus. I would even say aventus would be much better than this if not for its performances, the one thing this has over aventus is perfromances other than that the creed house is better. 6/10 ( just because it is a blatant copy, there is not much inventive here)

Nose Note #221 When I first sprayed it I didn't check the Fragrantica page. From the start to the end it's an Aventus clone... The drydown is more nutty like Mancera Cedrat Boise. Considering the price I would much rather choose Armaf CDNIM

Reminds me more of morning chess than aventus.

Unfortunately I didn't get the ambroxan/ambergris/patchouli notes, only the unpleasant (for me) zesty and aromatic notes. Hopefully it works better on a male skin. Longevity is good.

It smells very close to Viride for me, don't get any Aventus vibes with this. It's very woody and earthy. Smells good, longevity and projection are good.

Very very spicy, all I get is patchouli, vetiver and pepper. Patchouli bomb. Not close to Aventus at all

Any lads who can share how long does this fragrance lasts on skin & clothes? Thankss
