Doped Tuberose

Luca said his mother's favourite fragrance inspired this perfume. Of course it's just me but I think it was the Joy. But while Joy stays more rosy jasmin and sharp, this one is more tuberosy and creamier. Both have the same distinctive animalic, metallic note but the Doped Tuberose comes soapy and spicy - maybe from the lavender or a hint of ylang? - by the time. They are not identical of course remain quiet different but I completly understand the name because both start with the same vibe but DT stays different as well. I think this is a nice fragrance whose like the spicy, lavendery & musky notes whith tuberose. I love it♥️ P.S. I noticed the time is good for it after the first spray so that it shines more beautifully.

Came across this one accidentally while searching for a tuberose scent. While I don't think the name matches the perfume in the bottle - the tuberose is not as prominent as I would expect from the name, I was well impressed by the scent and the quality of this perfume. It's very long lasting, has a bit of a vintage/retro vibe to it and to me it's simply lovely. It reminds me a lot of Amouage Beloved, which is one of my favourite perfumes, but it's half the price. I can definitely smell the citrussy opening quickly followed by the lavender - white flower combination. The trick here is that tuberose is really well blended with jasmine to a point that they create a new note, without any being dominant solo.

Doped Tuberose by Gritti: A Cozy Floral Treat ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ As a man who adores the scent of tuberose and small white flowers in the wild, I was pleasantly surprised by this cozy and dense perfume by Gritti. Doped Tuberose is a name that intrigued me, and I was not disappointed by its performance. It enveloped me in a warm and comfortable embrace, and lasted for 8+ hours on my skin/clothes. It was perfect for the cold weather, but I would be careful not to wear it in the heat, as it might be too overpowering. The perfume is a floral delight, with tuberose and jasmine as the stars of the show. They are blended with some other floral notes, creating a rich and sweet bouquet. I did not smell any soap or citrus in this perfume, but maybe that was because my decant was old and had lost its freshness. The perfume was not weird or off-putting, as some niche perfumes can be. It was rather charming and elegant, but not too common or boring. The perfume did not have the animalic side of tuberose, which some people might find too intense or indolic. It was more like a in the face and 4K jasmine, with a hint of tuberose. The perfume is not very popular or hyped, which is a good thing, as it makes it more unique and special. However, in some eastern countries, this type of smell is associated with religious places and people, and it might be seen frown upon or irrelevant. This is similar to how CK One is hated in the US, because it is overused and misused. Western people should seize this opportunity and enjoy this perfume to the fullest, as it is a beautiful and cozy floral. A more modern and mainstream alternative to this perfume could be CK Beauty, which is also a jasmine-based fragrance.

This is a fragrance that you have to let develop. It opens like a big fat soap bomb (on me.) I almost chucked her in the “F@&$ it bucket” but then something wonderful happened. The soap lifted and she became a much softer prettier version of herself. She is a dry white floral projecting a lot more Jasmine on me than Tuberose but I wonder if that is the “accord” the previous reviewer mentioned when both flowers sort of become a singular note. My husband is a Tom Ford junkie and after he hugged me goodbye this am, his Tobacco Vanille and Jasmine Rouge combo mingled with my Doped Tuberose and I have to say it’s pretty spectacular. Might have to experiment. But I digress...you came here for Doped Tuberose. She’s a dry dry dry white floral and she’s a bit loud and soapy at the starting line. She mellows a bit at dry down but I don’t get any warmth of the other mentioned notes. I’m going to let her mellow a bit and come back as I get to know her. I think she might be a wonderful treasure to have for just the right moment but I don’t get daily driver vibes from her just yet.
