Fenice

The reviews I read here are really different from what I am experiencing with Fenice. At first it’s super fresh almost like a window cleaner (a bit harsh) maybe it’s the combination of the white musk and the fruits. But 10-15 sec. after the spray it turns into a beautiful soapy white floral. It reminds me a bit of a Dove soap smell, which I really love. The longevity is amazing 10-12 hours. I currently wear it to bed and it makes me feel so clean and cosy. The price point is quite high, but for that longevity I would definitely purchase a bottle. It’s not groundbreaking, but if you are a fan of white flowers, feeling clean, after shower type of fragrances, it’s worth testing. Especially if you’re a fan of Dior J’ADORE D’EAU, which I adore but has been lacking on the longevity.

It is a great YES for me as long as it is taken in small doses. It has a special allure and requires the right outfit, i.e. an elegant one.

Gosh, this is strongly a laundry detergent smell for ages after spraying! (It reminds me of "Snuggles" fabric softener.) It becomes more floral as it dried down, and ends with a jasmine-magnolia + strong aromachemical scent. (But be warned: that nose-burning aromachemical smell is there from the get-go, if you sniff it up close!) Probably a good choice the office, because people will just think you used an entire bottle of fabric softener in your wash, lol. ;) (I should note: I wish that I smelled passion fruit like other reviewers, since I love that smell, but really the lily and magnolia and musky-aromachemical are all I can smell in this.)

i like it but it smells incredibly overwhelming.. the lady at the store sprayed it all over me and when i did everything to try and get it off but as i was walking around i just genuinely STANK. some kids at the asian aisle of the store were like "IT SMELLS SO STRONG" and yeah it is rather headache inducing. in small quantities i would imagine its quite nice

I have a lot of the perfumes it’s being compared to and I do not get the similarities. I tested a 2ml sample and question what I was smelling after reading reviews. I got soft floral kinda soapy scent. Nothing comparable to rotten fruit. I like this one a lot on my skin.

musk and fruits. tiziana terenzi dna. its okay but not impressive

Nothing at all like Tiziana Kirké...not even in the slightest. The florals really dominate in this fragrance while the passionfruit and then other fruit notes stay prominent with Kirké. With Kirké you know you are smelling passionfruit...it's very strong, while this I smell it, but it is behind the floral. I really like the Gritti scents I own, but I have smelled 2 others, this now being the 3rd that gives me household cleaner vibes. Again Kirké and Fenice are 2 totally different vibes. This is not a safe blind buy if you're looking for a passionfruit scented perfume. If you are looking for a fruity perfume and you're interested in Gritti I would go for Rialto which has a nice punchy smell of mango that really stands out. Fenice is def giving me daytime/spring vibes...as well as I am cleaning my floors and bathroom with a nice scented cleaner.

This is not for me. It smells nothing like Kirke, I love Kirke but definitely not Fenice. Fenice smells highly of powder, musk and rotten peaches on my skin. But then there is this screechy note that is so sharp it reminds me of cleaning products in the worst way. I usually can find some good in a perfume, but this one, on my skin, I just can’t.

Only getting magnolia peach and passion fruit. Not really my type of scent very fruity smelling. It’s not bad reminds me of a cheap scent you can find anywhere tho, the other gritti selection is much better. 3/10

Screechy floral and sour passionfruit. Really almost unbearable for the first few minutes until that phase passes and the white florals appear.

A solid no. Smells kinda off, like rotten fruits. Like a dirty version of Kirke.

As much as I like Gritti's other creations, this one doesn't sit well with me. It is strong florals swimming in passionfruit juice. I think that I hate this combination.

On the plus side, Fenice has amazing longevity. You will still smell it on your skin 24 hours later and it has big sillage. Unfortunately, it's not a scent I want to spread around. The passionfruit and animalic elements are much too prominent and overpower the fragrance in an unpleasant way. As another reviewer noted, the overall scent is of fruit that has just started to rot. Fenice is a big no for me. This is definitely a sample before you buy fragrance.

Strong passionfruit note, some white flowers, an a very intense musk. Something like ambroxan lurking here as well... No this is not for me. It burns my nostrils with these horrible aromachemicals. A sample is more than enough.
