Earthy, woody/oudy notes with soft leather and church incense, this is a complex and wonderful fragrance. There is definitely a strong oud in the opening overpowering everything else in the first 15-20 mins, then the smoky-leathery and floral-green accords start coming forward to tone down the sharpness of that woody opening. I know there's no patchouli in there officially, but I'm definitely getting dark and earthy patchouli vibes in the opening, similar to Patchouli Of The Underworld by Electimuss. After like 30 mins to the 1-hour mark the whole thing becomes nicely balanced out with the incense and leather forming a beautiful alliance with the woody notes. It's a very high quality perfume with a strong projection and very good longevity, it's important to be cautious with spraying as it fills the room quickly if sprayed with a heavy finger. For me, the incense is getting a picture of a hidden shrine somewhere in the far East, it's not like monumental, Western church vibes, but something cozy, intimate and warm. Even though it's a dark and heavier scent, I can totally imagine wearing it almost in any season except for high heat, but I could totally imagine it shining in an upscale dinner setting on a cooler summer evening. It's rich, dense, warm and inviting, doesn't want to dominate despite the strong projection and prominent earthy notes. It's a masterpiece.

Very dark and sexy. At first spray it’s very oudy and rose as it dries down it gets a little more complex. You can start to smell a incensey church our with some animalic undertones and with some sweetness on the back end assumably from the ginger and saffron. The more it’s on skin though the less I like it, it kind of smells like a smokers hair. It’s nice and not nice at the same time 6.1/10

opens very rosy with quite a bit of oud. it smells somewhat synthetic and a little feminine at first, but once it dries down it becomes undeniably masculine. the drydown is very nice, the oud becomes the star of the show along with myrrh and incense. i can’t seem to pick up mic on the civet accord and i wouldn’t really say there’s anything animalic about this scent. 7/10

This is undoubtedly an inspiration of Ombre Nomade, but less sweet and rosy This is more along the lines of Blue Oud by Ibrahim Al Quraishi with that inky oud, with this being more smooth and less abrasive than that monster. In the mid, do they diverge, Florian cranks up the sweetness a bit, probably due to the myrrh while Blue Oud remains the same as ever. I love the mid and dry down of Florian, way better than both Ombre Nomade and Blue Oud

This is a marvelous scent. I put it up against Dusita Oud Infini. The latter won. Both are masterpieces and I’m torn between snagging a bottle of a scent no longer in production and Gritti. The latter has better silage and lasts way longer on my skin. It is also more complex and the Oud is still present in the dry down, which is sublime with the saffron, rose and Oud, while although more tame, interplay with each other in a commanding fashion.Love the fact that Gritti is confected by a niche parfumier in Venice, one of.my favorite cities in the world; a city of contradictions and mystery.

This is nice.. Very quintessential middle eastern. Smells like Rose, Oud and Saffron with the hint of Myrrh. Very comparable to Ombre Nomade by Louis Vuitton.

This will remind you of Ombre Nomade, but it is much drier and more animalic. They don't smell alike.

Toooo much for me, all I can smell is oud and incense.. Smokey !! Don’t enjoy it at all.

This is really not for me, very smoky and oudy, super strong, more masculine.
