Gossip Night

Finally, I'm here with my thoughts on Gossip Night by Gritti after giving it full wear a few times. This was a blind buy for me, but it was on my wishlist ever since it was released. If you read my reviews regularly, you'll notice I personally love the note Peach in any fragrances. So the main reason behind getting this fragrance was the White Peach, Madagascar Vanilla and the presentation as well as the bottle design. This literally smells like a dessert made with Caramelized Peach with Beautiful Vanilla Ice Cream on the side. Upon initial spray I get the smell of tropical mangoes along with peach and some litchis but almost instantly it turns into a deliciously sweet caramelized peach fragrance. The vanilla and the whipped cream can also be noticed after almost 15 minutes of spraying the fragrance. Together they create the most delicious and expensive smelling dessert like aura which is every fruity gourmand lover's dream come true. The drydown is mostly sweet powdery musk and vanilla with a fruity peachy touch. I get around 10+ hours longevity and honestly on clothes and hair it lasted more than 12 hours. In fact the leftover smell of powdery vanilla and musk stayed on my clothes and hair until I washed them. The projection is in beast mode for first 1-2 hours and after that it radiates within an arms length even after 5-6 hours, and leaves a beautiful feminine scent trail. Please note I've tried this fragrance only during the cold weather so depending on the weather and climate the performance may differ a little. I personally think it's more suitable for date nights or casual occasions. I won't recommend it for office or serious meetings. As the name suggests it's perfect for casual hangouts, date nights or parties. The smell is sweet, delicious and seductive so you can easily wear it for your first date too. It's inoffensive and mass appealing so people around you will love the smell as well. I got complements while wearing this fragrance so yes it's a complement getter too. Overall, I love this fragrance. It's sweet, delicious, seductive and elegant. It's sweet but not overpowering. The blending is beautiful and it smells expensive. It also gives a happy, bright and youthful vibe so if you love fruity gourmands you'll enjoy it too. Also, it didn't trigger any headaches so I'm using it without worrying about my migraine. The presentation is really beautiful, the caps are handmade and the bottle is also a nice addition to my collection! The initial vibrancy mellows into a velvety layer of white peach, delicately intertwined with hints of caramel and vanilla, yet remarkably avoiding a descent into gourmand territory. The comforting base of Madagascar vanilla and cashmeran, enriched with white musk, deepens the fragrance without tipping it into excessive sweetness. Its 'kitchen sink' approach — a vibrant cocktail of diverse elements — may not appeal to everyone, especially those who prefer more straightforward or less complex fragrances. Describing Gritti's creations often feels more like recounting vivid scenes and experiences rather than merely listing ingredients, which seems to align with their evocative naming conventions. For those attracted to perfumes that spark conversations and leave lasting impressions, Gossip Night could be the next scent to try.

Oh my oh my oh my! this is MAGICAL! A creamy lactonic magical caramel fruity milkshake fairy gourmand perfume. What a stunning fragrance! I just got my full bottle in the mail; it was a blind buy but oh my goodness i hit the blind buy jackpot! I'm obsessed. love at first sniff. It's so delicious! This is worth every penny I paid. the hype is real people, the hype is real. The caramel really stood out when I first sprayed it. But the fruits chimed in almost a few seconds later then the creaminess (omg I'm drooling). I usually have a little struggle mental fight with peach. It usually bothers me because it always comes across as sharp. But this is a fuzzy soft round sweet caramelized peach. Its actually not too sweet. Its got an airiness to the sweetness that keeps its from becoming too much or suffocating. its almost got a tartness that counters the sweetness keeping it perfectly year round. Its the middle of summer and I will wear this tomorrow in the 95 degree heat and I know it wont be too much but will update later. This is my second Gritti (1st one is Because I'm Free(stunning tuberose)) and I am so impressed with this house. I think I will continue buying more Gritti fragrances. I might try Tutu or Chantilly. I have/had a few other peach centered fragrances but this is definitely takes the cake for best peach fragrance. I have never tried bonbon pop but if it smells similar or in the same realm I will definitely being giving that one a try. I'm so happy this is a 10/10 blind buy success!

WOW! Thankfully a successful blindbuy. I can't stop smelling my wrists when I wear it. Love at first sniff! Such feminine and uplifting scent! It makes me happy. GN has no florals really, this is for someone who enjoys earthy sweet peachy creamy DNA. On the first blast and first minutes of drydown I detect some dirty patchouli notes which makes GN quite interesting and not just an ordinary sweet fruity vanilla scent. Some would say it reminds you of spoiled/fermented fruit due to the patchouli. It's not a soft airy scent, it's powerful and dense in sweetness from the sugary mango and sirupy peach with loads of heavy vanilla caramel and shy musk in the background. Mouthwatering. Density really helps with the longevity and projection. 2 sprays and it lasts ALL DAY! I was missing a strong, sweet fruity, ”grownup” longlasting scent in my collection and I love and adore this. The warmth of my skin helps the vanilla radiate at the base of the drydown. I'm very happy with this, bottle is stunning with its marbled lid and smells unique to my collection! I feel so feminine and chiq when I wear this.

WOW. I'm surprised by all of these negative reviews, but then, I blind bought this sample and didn't look at the notes before testing, so I tested without expectations. Have you ever sampled a fragrance that makes you think, I want to BE this woman?? This scent is for those who love sweet, musky fruity, vanilla frags, but also like to feel like a grown a&& woman, you know? This woman doesn't wear body sprays or concern herself with the opinion of others--there's maturity and elegance here. I'm reminded a bit of M. Micalleff's Note Vanillee--there's something old world and sophisticated, a woman emerging from a dark car wearing a pencil skirt, a man's white button down, red lipstick, and effortless confidence. On my skin I get gentle plum notes, boozy vanilla, a touch of sweetness with only the vaguest sense that florals linger in the background. Man. I may purchase a full bottle of this. I'm testing in July, south Texas. Projection is good and fragrance dries down well. Overall, this is not a light scent, but a serious perfume for a serious woman, imo.

Not as light or “fluffy” as I expected. In fact, at the risk of being chided, it reminds me of Sixteen92 Black Sugar, a now discontinued scent but once much beloved. Is the crazy I smell patch in Gossip Night? In fact when I first wore it I bopped over here to check the scent list again. Most likely how the different notes mix and mash on my personal skin and chemistry. Fragrances and self are just weird and I love it! Sweet with darker notes beneath. Not a fluff pink cloud fest. That said, I love it and I even put some Black Sugar on one wrist and Gossip Night on the other. Very similar. Black Sugar is a blend of red berries, dirt, brown sugar, smoke, tonka, caramel, cacoa, vanilla. I always think it’s weird that some people think Black Sugar is simply a Pink Sugar fragrance oil “dressed up”. No way. But I do love Gossip Night and I adore the name and of course, Gritti’s gorgeous bottle. Not much sillage but enough and I wake up still smelling it on me.

After using up a sample and smelling the dabbed for months, I decided I needed the full size bottle. She’s creamy and fluffy, whilst bright and feminine. On the opening, she’s fizzy and tart, like champagne. The litchi note isn’t super perceptible to me- but it does give this opening the tang of a fruity,peachy cocktail. Middle notes start to open up into a peach bellini with a side of ice cream. The ending, to me, is nothing like the opening. It just turns warm and creamy and the peach takes on a jammier scent, cozily tucked in the musk and cashmeran. The lingering skin scent is so powdery and soft! I think this is worth every penny. I love how it develops. Definitely sample first, but for me- I will always need a bottle of this. I used to take this as a summer scent, but, the slight fall breeze really picked up the warmer vanilla notes. Great end of summer to fall transition fragrance. 😍

Am I the only one obsessed with this😍 I thought I wasn’t going to love it based on the reviews, but I am actually obsessed!!! It’s a gorgeous sweet peach on a bed of whipped cream and powdery sweetness ontop. It also has a shampooey vibe to it, or like a very nice smelling hair serum. You know those hair serums that smell amazing and you think wow I wish they could make it into a perfume 🥰 or am I the only one? So, this smells like a peach scented hair serum. If anyone has smelt the Redken frizz dismiss serum in the red bottle, it smells EXACTLY like it, but with more peach and creaminess added! 🍑🍦🍮 If you own that hair serum, please tell me if you agree lol It’s such an addictive smell and it has a gorgeous sillage that follows you everywhere you go. I also get so many compliments when I wear this. If you love peachy, sweet, powdery scents you will love this one😍

I was shocked at how many negative reviews there were because I loooove this scent. I totally understand that there is a cashmeran note that can be quite off-putting and screechy when done wrong however in Gossip Night I feel it adds this much needed layer of complexity, warmth and sophistication that makes it super cozy and inviting - not just another childish fruity sweet fragrance. Especially once it settles on the skin. Perfect balance of fruit and creaminess. Definitely a signature scent personally. This gives me everything that I thought Tutu (pink version) would give me but I really didn’t like it. To my surprise it weirdly reminds me so much of byredo bibliotheque which is another favourite of mine however lasting power with this one is unparalleled and the vanilla is more prominent.

This is a gorgeous scent, I get creamy mango and peach accords right off the bat that linger for hours. It’s very pleasant. At first, I was worried that the fruity notes would smell a bit harsh like a bathroom spray, but on skin, it settles into a beautiful whipped cream and mango and vanilla ice cream. This to me is the definition of an it-girl perfume, she’s pretty and unbothered, she smells sweet and everybody notices her. It’s a very pretty scent with a good sillage and amazing longevity. I wore it yesterday and I could smell myself throughout the entire day, and my clothes still carried the scent this morning. This may not be a masterpiece in itself but it’s definitely a compliment getter, and could work as an everyday signature scent, especially in summer.

I don’t love the name, but I’ll have to live with it. :) Gossip Night opens with a burst of tropical mango and litchi, bright and inviting. There’s a whisper of green—perhaps from mango blossom—that adds freshness and makes the opening unique. The heart melts into peach and caramel cream, keeping the mood playful yet refined. As it settles, a smooth blend of vanilla and musks forms a creamy base, with a touch of patchouli quietly grounding the sweetness and giving the fragrance balance. I just blind bought this and I couldn't be happier with it. I do not get the gourmand peaches and cream people keep talking about, it is really airy and light, the sweetness is really subtle. This fragrance takes me back on the summers I spent in the south of France. It makes me feel like I'm wearing a light sundress in a flowery garden terrace, where I slice open a ripe white peach and top it with a swirl of airy whipped cream on a sunny and breezy day. I'm definitely intrigued to try more of what Gritti has to offer. This will be my go to scent this summer. ❀

Genuinely, I have never loved a perfume this much. I didn't know it was popular on tiktok, I've just been looking for a good peach perfume and thought I'd buy a sample. I don't get super strong peach, but oh my god I love this perfume. It's fruity and soft and warm, and I could not stop smelling my wrists throughout the day. I got 5 or 6 compliments, and I was devastated when I had to wash it off in the shower. It lasted from 8am when I sprayed it before class, to 9 pm when I showered. I need a full bottle if I go broke buying it

One of my favourite peach fragrances I tried so far. It’s so complex to my nose, I was taken aback when I tried it the first time. I can see why people mention mango, you can smell it a bit. But it’s such a pretty fragrance it’s hard to describe. A perfect blend of sweet peaches and caramel, and the flowers. It’s not super gourmand, and it’s go girly but classy at the same time. Like a princess. I love this one, and I didn’t expect to, which is the best part. Rating: 9.5/10 🍑🍦🪻

At the risk of repeating what others have already stated, it’s feminine, delicate, intimate and beautiful. A soft gourmand that has me constantly, constantly sniffing my wrist. It’s not quite as peachy as I was expecting though, nor would I describe it as creamy. But this is peach done right in such a way I absolutely adore it and know peach can be a very difficult note for me. Gossip Night is a beautiful creation and my favourite from the house so far.

Great longevity and projection. Soft peach candies with a bag of powdered sugar on top next to a very dusty old library book and I LOVE IT. If you can't handle the weird dusty note I suggest trying Ruby Orchid Flowerbomb. They don't smell the same at all,, RO is a peach with a feathery texture instead of dusty powdery. They give a similar vibe. Anyways this is my first Gritti, it's a love for me. Currently looking into Vanilla Tana & Violet Venom

Oh glory this is fantastic. It has such a beautiful balance for a gourmand fragrance. I'm really not sure what the other comments are talking about. On paper, I get more fruity, floral, sweet vibes, but once it hit my skin, it's creamy vanilla musky bliss. I get very very little peach from it. More like a dessert with a light peach sauce. I adore the initial spray and drydown of this and am seriously considering a full bottle.

To me this is a soft peach dessert, not peaches and cream but more like a peach cobbler. The peach is the most prominent note and balanced well with the sweetness from the cream and caramel. Absolutely stunning scent. The longevity on me is unbelievable and lasts for days on clothing even with minimal sprays. Very different to bitter peach

Amazing! It was love from the first sight. It’s not like any other perfume. Very sweet, feminine, but elegance and rich. I smell peach, cream, vanilla and heliotrope. My new love after years of Changing Constance from Penhaligons. Definitely worth to try. If you’re into feminine, sweet, but very unique scents - try it asap 💕

Dry down smelled really similar to Between Us on my skin oddly, just a little more fruity. Smells nice, probably wouldn't buy a fb due to poor sillage and longevity though, especially when that 1D perfume is such a powerhouse.

There is a sharp green note upon opening that I found challenging. Fortunately, that disappears an hour into wear and the dry down is a sweet blend of caramel, peach and whipped cream. Very beautiful and girly.

This smells a lot like Pas Ce Soir by BDK to me... especially in the top and middle. I love Pas Ce Soir, but I just wish I got more of the gourmand notes in here (i.e., caramel, whipped cream). Still amazing!

This is one of those perfumes that grew on me. I didn't like it at first and it had a sharp medicinal opening for me and I do get a bit of patchouli somehow, but the dry down, I love. Its so cozy and creamy.

This reminds me of a peaches & cream dessert dusted with confectionary sugar. It's a light, fruity, sweet gourmand scent and I really like it! Got a sample from Luckyscent but this is worth a full bottle.

This fragrance like a baby of TF Bitter Peach and TT Andromeda. It took a synthetic peach note from BP and Musc from Andromeda. I like the both of parents, so this one is pretty good 🙂

I love this, and, I also, do not understand the negative reviews. It’s creamy, yummy, and mixes amazing with my chemistry. Love the dry down, nice musky-caramel goodness.

Peachy creamy sweet vanilla. Very girly scent. Just pleasant. I’m 30yo and I think I’m too old for this one lol. Longevity is 1-2 hours on my skin.

Harsh opening. Agree with others that I would've avoided this scent if patchouli were listed here. Dries down okay on my skin, but not my favorite.

I like this one more than Bitter Peach, Bon Bon Pop and HOS Sweet Dreams. Its creamier, rounder and smoother than the others.

It smells like earthy Patchouli on my skin and doesn’t blend with the creamy peach very odd scent!

I don’t understand the bad reviews... you all need to live a little!!!

Initial impressions: The powdery accord over powers the other notes and not in a good way. Upon initial blast it started out promising, lychee was pirouetting around the ripe apricot and peach notes. Once it dried down, I could defiantly get the laconic accord , however, the entire perfume is ruined by too much powder & slight smokiness. I pick up a very synthetic unpleasant aroma that reminds me of a fruit scented cheap perfume stored in a plastic container, think barbie doll scent of some sort. It's not a good plastic accord which you'd fine in Gucci Rush. The concept is terrific, this scent is unique, the execution failed. If only the powder and faint whiffs of smoke wasn't present, this would be a love. It took 45 minutes for a full dry down. The smokiness I suspect caramel (burnt sugar) high quality oil finally dissipated. The lactonic accord is in full bloom, the fruits are standing by complimenting the caramel. I get the depth from the cashmere and vanilla. The performance is great, and I could see this as a perfect gourmand for someone under 25. The powder has tone down so the other notes get a chance to shine. I prefer to NOT hate a scent right out of the bottle, 45 minutes is too long to wait to like/love a fragrance (IMO). I can NOW see why so many people like this scent. There is a chemical aftertaste still present. However, it's now a like not a hate. The powder is still too much.

I literally just got this and sprayed it on myself so this is a very fresh review....it's a vibe for sure....it's sweet and a creamy-musk at the same time. I can smell the musk and cashmere from the front, even though they are base notes. Has a strong smell, but sit's close to skin....def suggest wearing this on both skin and clothes, and giving yourself a good amount of sprays for projection. This is giving me spring/summer day vibes, though I feel can be worn all year round. When sprayed on paper I can really smell the fruit and floral at the front...its' so interesting because it smells so different on paper compared to my skin. On my skin it instantly smells really sweet, and on paper not so much until it's completely dried down. The packaging is really nice...I ordered straight from the Gritti site and got 2 samples of their other perfumes. I am in Maryland, and the package came to me within 3 days. You can also find it on Luckscent.com, which you can choose up to 6 samples of various perfume brands with your purchase. Overall...this was a blind buy and I am absolutely content with my purchase :) ...can't wait for my 2nd blind buy to arrive from this brand which is Duchessa.

I received a sample of this from a friend and decided to take it for a spin today. A very pleasant tropical blast with a hint of powder. At the first couple of sprays I thought this didn't have much staying power and kind of wrote it off. However, I topped it p a couple of hours later and oversprayed a little and this seemed to give me a lot more longevity and I could smell it on myself for the rest of the day without offending all those around me. I like this but I find it a little generic and there's nothing about it that makes it stand out to me against other fragrances with similar notes so for me it isn't full bottle worthy but I am happy to have tried it.

I wanted this so bad after reading the description of “gossip night”. The scent is gorgeous but not for my taste exactly. It’s toothachingly sweet like the cake pavlova (which would be perfect for me) but on the drydown it’s very powdery. I initially tested this during spring and summer but now it’s autumn and I’m trying this again and to my surprise I love the opening so much more - such syrupy peaches, oozing melted sugar. It’s like oven baked peaches with sugar sprinkled on top. The oozing syrupy peaches fade quickly - I wanted it to stay like that for longer in which case I would have purchased a bottle of this.

What an interesting perfume, I can’t really describe the smell so I am just going to make a list of the things that came to mind upon smelling: - Peach rings - Plastic - Dolls - Lipstick - Sora dora from Mandorle - Biblioteque from Byredo - Plastic pool and inflatable balls store - Rubber shoes and toys shop - Makeup - Soil - Peach scented face powder One of the most interesting I’ve smelled in a while Don’t know if I hate it or I love it 🤷🏽 Edit: I can now detect the dirty or soil smell many people mentioned, it smells like plastic doll with soil or dirt but I kinda like it

Aside from the very rough earthy opening, I like this scent. It dries down much more pleasantly. On my skin I can smell the caramel note the most, it’s musky and blends well with the other notes, but I wouldn’t describe this as caramel-heavy at all. This is like a sweet skin scent with a whisper of peach. I was expecting a sexy peach dessert with whipped cream drizzled with caramel from the way it’s been described on TikTok, so I’m a little disappointed. I’m happy with my sample but I doubt I would purchase a full bottle.

There's something about the offerings from the house of Gritti that just 'get me'. Although I prefer the less demure, more sensual Duchessa, Gossip Night deserves an honourable mention. Overall it can be a somewhat generic sweet fragrance but the way it's blended makes you sit up and take notice of it. It has that daytime feminine allure about it that can be captivating. I am happy to have tried this much talked about fragrance but personally won't be getting a full bottle.

This smells almost exactly like you’d expect given the notes. I get peaches, whipped cream, something sweet (either caramel or vanilla) and some musk as it dries down. I don’t get any litchi though. This is what I thought Mancera Vanille Exclusive would smell like. But didn’t. This smells like a delicious peach dessert- a bit like Casmir by Chopard actually. I really like it!

If you want a creamy, yet almost tropical peach this is your girl. To me it smells like a fruit salad covered in whipped cream. Performance is also outstanding. ETA: Seems like you’ll either hate or love this fragrance. I don’t get patchouli, earthiness or synthetics at all which a lot of people do. Definitely test before you buy!!

Initially all I could smell was dirty patchouli, as many reviewers here mentioned. But I kept on trying to make friends with it, and after some time I finally get peaches and very realistic cream. Something earthy is still in the background, but it doesn't disturb at all. So it is worth giving it a second chance.

Gossip Night is a beautiful powdery mango & peach gourmand. She’s very delicate and feminine, that’s what I enjoy about her. I don’t interpret her as tropical. This isn’t a fragrance you’d wear if you want to turn heads and be noticed. This is for intimate wear only, as it should be! FB worthy for me.

Super sweet , creamy airy vanilla peach fragrance. It’s very sweet but not dense. It feels like a cloud wearing this fragrance. Smells like a peach flavored whipped cream that is super fluffy . It lasts like 8 hours and was getting wafts the whole time . You have to love Gourmands to love this one

I kept smellling this on me and was like ugh this reminds me of something I've worn before what is it?!?! And then I went through my like fragrances and realized ! Pas ce soir!! This is pas ce soirs sibling.... On my clothes it was pas ce soir.. on my skin it's this milky soft powdery vanilla...

Delicate powdery ripe peach with a creamy vanilla background. So sweet and pretty! Projection is moderate but I sprayed my decant 3 hours ago and I can still smell a light cloud of scent around me. This is a simple and feminine perfume, definitely adding this to my wants list!

Completely obessed with this fragrance. Swapped it with a fragrance friend and it did not dissappoint. It makes me want to put something sexy on, full face of make up, shower in it and go out dancing and flirting all night. Its elegant, seductive, complex and deep.

If you like fragrances like Bonbon Pop, CC X Feminine or TF Bitter Peach you may like this. They’re not all identical but the peach note in all of these fragrances smells the same. Gossip Night is my favorite of the bunch.

I mostly just get vanilla powder from this, sadly. I was hoping the peach would be stronger. I like it though.
