I'm impressed. This is my first experience with a Gritti fragrance. Jacqueline offers an intensely comforting experience, presenting a commanding powdery lavender tea accord with exceptional, all-day longevity and powerful projection. The fragrance achieves a beautiful evolution on the skin, where the warm, gourmand nuances of sweet almond and deep tonka bean emerge to form a lasting, memorable trail. The vanilla doesn't overpower the other notes. It sits calmly in the background. Jacqueline's distinctive composition is truly collection-worthy and boasts impressive versatility for seamless year-round wear.

sweet green scent, i am in love! there is something special to it, i did not get that it was lavanda right away, but now i am on my way to buy my first lavanda perfume=)

The opening is dry, aromatic, and gently herbaceous before a cool lavender accord emerges, softened beautifully by violet and freesia. Here, the lavender feels restrained and elegant rather than sharp or medicinal, which makes it enjoyable for me. Beneath it all lies a smooth base of musk and tonka bean, lightly sweetened with a touch of vanilla. Jacqueline is a fragrance full of quiet contradictions, green yet not particularly fresh, comforting with vanilla yet never truly sweet. There’s something understated and contemplative about it, it brings to mind an ancient walled garden filled with overgrown lavender bushes, worn stone paths warmed by the late afternoon sun, and the soft scent of dried flowers carried through still summer air. The fragrance feels timeless, calm, and gently refined. It wears close enough to feel personal, yet with enough presence to be noticed. On my skin, longevity is all day with moderate projection. To me, it’s a beautifully balanced unisex fragrance, versatile enough for almost any occasion.

another ode to corrupted femininity by the melancholy eyed master perfumer mr. luca gritti. if a dbsm master chose a scent for his client it would be this one. very chemical, lavander dominant scent with a submissive note of green almond. smells like Tuesday lunch brake in suisse alps. 4/11

Love the herbaceous opening. Others may love the dry down - but once it loses the aromatics it's just a bit too laconic and linear vanilla for me. But some may feel the opposite :) Interesting combination for sure. Earthy, then creamy.

There’s that damn fake-wood aromachemical again ruining everything in its path, and that’s all I get.

I love it. A green lavander, but not really in a fresh way. The first purchase from Gritti that i made, and not the last one. I think the performance is good, a very different smell from all the perfumes that i have. I consider this being unisex, not too feminine and not too masculine, but it works for both in my opinion. Very unique and every time i wear it, i remember how much i enjoyed it even from the first sniff. I dont really feel that it becomes a simple vanilla after few hours.

Earthy and tingly! Added a sample to my cart on a whim and now that I see the notes, it wasn’t up my alley to start with. It starts very green with some lavender. It tickles my nose a bit, as if I’m using it to treat something. As it dries down the musk and tonka bean come out which helps dim the fake wood/essential oil smell and turns it more in to a custardy mossy forest, in a good way!

I can see the resemblance to Erba Pura that is voted above, I get the same vibe from Jacqueline to be honest. However it is not a carbon copy of Erba Pura, mind you. Jacqueline is less sweet, less of that fruity aspect and more green and lavender-ish, a pinch of sour bitterness from the almond. To me, it is absolutely unisex fragrance, while Erba Pura leans a bit on the feminine side.

Agreed with thecellophaneflower, comment below. It is promising opening and very basic dry down or just mess of different notes for my nose. Not even pleasant.
