Muskaria

This is absolutely beautiful and one of the best musk fragrances on the market. It reminds me most of INITIO's Absolute Aphrodisiac and V CANTO's Kashmire - both are gorgeous and have a safe spot in my collection, but dare I say that GRITTI may have topped both of those fragrances? It has that "animalic" feel just like AA, not overdone or dirty, but sexy and carnal. The vanilla note adds a sweetness to the base and dry-down that I find intoxicating with this kind of musk. I don't specifically smell "leather". I always worry about that note... I was also nervous that the "spices" would be too much, because they can be too much for me. But there is nothing scratchy about them and they don't overwhelm. It is surely a spicy fragrance though, but one I can tolerate. The overall effect is very special and well-made. Sexy, great with a backdrop of fall leaves 🍂 in New England, walking on cobblestone streets with my beau, a romantic night out, bundled in a cashmere sweater... Cozy, Sexy, Elegant but not Demure. 10/10

If you adore sophisticated amber-musk perfumes, Muskaria is sure to impress. 🍂✨

I didnt expect this to live up to the positive reviews, but damn..yeah, this is up there. Beautiful amber rose vanilla scent. Really addictive buttery, elegant, ambery stuff. Slightly spicy but nowhere near as sweet (nor as rosey) as you'd think. This has a really soft, cushy, easily digestible rose that only lurks in the background without ever lunging forward at you as it does in many other rose, amber, vanillas. The rose here is truly an accent, not the feature. I guess one could say this is feminine leaning, but as someone with a large collection who has gotten really comfortable wearing unisex scents, theres nothing really explicitly feminine about this to my nose.

This one is really out of the box for Gritti - and I’m here for it! It’s rich, musky, ambery, and spicy. The drydown is pure magic, with that sweet incense-ambery-vanilla addictive thing happening. Someone mentioned it’s in the same vein as Coromandel, and I agree, there is a resemblance. A blind buy win!

Musk Ravageur and Absolute Aphrodisiac have produced this vanilla sweet, cherubic rosy baby. The baptism takes place in an orthodox church where the priest enthusiastically swings his incense censer...

Love at first sniff!! This is a sexy amber scent. I could not stop smelling my wrist. After that first sniff I went and bought a backup bottle before it sold out. Muskaria is a huge love for me!!

opens slightly musky and overly sweet vanilla which ruins the fragrance for me. i was expecting this to be similar to musc ravageur as people have claimed.

Muskaria is in the same scent category as Coromandel by Chanel, especially in the drydown but Coromandel will remain my preferred choice. It is a chic, rich, spicy, impressive fragrance suitable for formal occasions and cooler climates. I was wary of the leather note as I am not a fan of this note but fortunately I do not smell it at all.

Amazing. Deep dark and sweet. Intense but elegantly. A power house of character, 3 sprays max are the sweet spot. Do not, excess it. LOVE another Gritti . I would love this on a man. Confidence and power. Sensuality and shapeshifting. Easy to layer with some serious woods to deepen it even more for an astral partnership of harmonies. I’m surprised no one has mentioned Casamorati 1888. It’s very similar. It’s not quite musc ravageur or Shalimar, way spicier than those two. It’s a resinous amber with some sweetness from the vanilla. It took me a while to place it but I recognized it upon spraying, then 1888 slowly came to mind! It is beautiful but now I need to give both a wear and decide if it’s too redundant or unique enough to keep.

Sweet spicy amber. Resinous but gentle. It reminds me a lot of Shunkoin by Xerjoff, it has the same level of spiciness and sweetness. It also has something that feels like coconut... I think this is a lot more gentle than Musc Ravageur but definitely in the same family... I like it.

I’m going to give this one some time...I don’t get a lot of the notes mentioned here (on skin) ...mostly heavy resins and incense. I enjoy a good amber scent, but there’s something too over powering here to my nose. Dry down is a little better

This smells like my rich aunt that lives in Chihuahua Mx. I think it’s a very beautiful, sweet but mature vanilla scent thanks to the rose, bergamot and patchouli blend.
